While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

GMO warns of humanitarian catastrophe amid ongoing closure of Rafa'h crossing

Monday 13-May-2024

RAFA'H, (PIC)

The head of the Government Media Office (GMO), Salama Ma'rouf warned of a new humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the Israeli forced closure of the Rafa'h crossing for almost a week as well as preventing the delivery of aid from the Karm Abu Salim crossing.

Ma'rouf added, in a press statement on Sunday, that the Israeli occupation army has been preventing thousands of wounded from leaving the Strip for receiving treatment abroad.

This heralds a new humanitarian catastrophe and the loss of the lives of hundreds of sick and wounded people due to the lack of necessary medicines and the incapability of the remaining health centers to meet the medical needs, as well as worsening food security crisis, reaching a state of famine across the besieged Strip, he said.

Ma'rouf pointed out that this coincides with the escalation of the Israeli aggression against Rafa'h, central and northern Gaza, and the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Al-Sabra and Tal Al-Hawa in Gaza City, adding that even Al-Mawasi area, to which citizens are being forced to migrate, has not been spared from Israeli raids and killing.

Ma'rouf condemned the Israeli brutality and use of torture against Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip, and holding them captive in secret detention centers, where they are subjected to the ugliest forms of torture and sadism. This indicates the extent of the suffering and atrocities committed against Palestinian prisoners, he added.

Ma'rouf called on the international community, the United Nations, and its institutions, “to take urgent action to stop the crime of our time, put an end to the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe that our people have suffered for more than 7 months, and take the necessary decisions to force the occupation to halt its genocidal massacres.”

He also urged the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to immediately announce the investigation into all these crimes, and to issue instant arrest warrants against Israeli war criminals led by Netanyahu, his Minister of War, and his Army Chief of Staff.

For the 220th day in a row, the Israeli occupation army has been continuing its aggression against the Gaza Strip, with US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of 34,971 people and the injury of 78,641 others, in addition to the displacement of about 1.7 million people, according to United Nations data.

500 health workers killed in Gaza Strip

Monday 13-May-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 500 health workers were killed by the Israeli genocidal attacks since the start of Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7.

The ministry pointed out that 138 nurses were also murdered during the attacks, calling on the international community to “protect medical personnel and health institutions in Gaza.”

The health ministry underlined that the Israeli occupation army committed eight massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 63 civilians and injuring over 114 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 35,034 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 78,755 people.

'Hamas slams Biden’s recent remarks on Gaza ceasefire

Monday 13-May-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

'Hamas has denounced US president Joe Biden’s latest remarks on the captives being held in Gaza during a speech in Seattle, in which he claimed that a ceasefire in Gaza would be possible only if Hamas fighters released Israeli prisoners.

“We condemn this position by the US president, and we consider it a retreat from the results of the last round of talks which culminated with the Movement’s acceptance of the proposal that had been tabled by the Egyptian and Qatari mediators, with the full knowledge of the US mediator,” Hamas said in a statement on Sunday.

'Hamas affirmed that it showed the necessary flexibility in all stages of the negotiations that were held to reach a ceasefire agreement, but Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu and his government torpedoed this trajectory through embarking on attacking civilians in Rafa'h, Jabalya and Gaza City and escalating its massacres across the coastal enclave.

'Hamas added that Israel’s escalation of its aggression against Gaza reflected Netanyahu’s insistence on continuing the genocidal war and his disregard for the lives of the Israeli captives.

It underlined that such a position by Biden vindicated further the US administration’s bias in favor of the “criminal policy” pursued by what it described as the “Zio-Nazi government” and its persistence in providing political cover and military support for the Israeli war of extermination against the Palestinian people and gaining more time for the occupation army to finish its destruction, killing and genocidal operations in Gaza.

Thousands across Australia take part in protests against the Israeli genocidal attacks on Rafa'h

RAMALLAH, Monday, May 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

Thousands of demonstrators participated in the Australian cities of Sydney and Melbourne in two massive demonstrations in support of Palestine and in protest against the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Demonstrators raised the Palestinian flag and demanded an end to military operations in the city of Rafa'h.

The demonstrators also raised banners reading: “Zionism is racist and racism is fascism” and “Boycott the apartheid regime in Israel.”

Despite mounting international warnings about expanding military operations in Rafa'h, the Israeli occupation forces called on Saturday morning for the displacement of civilians from different neighborhoods in the city “immediately.”

For the seventh day in a row, the occupation forces continue to close the Rafa'h crossing, which led to a complete halt to the movement of passengers, especially the sick and wounded, and the entry of humanitarian aid, or the transfer of accumulated aid to the people of the Gaza Strip in the southern and northern areas.

The Rafa'h land crossing is considered a lifeline for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the only land crossing for the entry of aid and the evacuation of the injured individuals.

According to local sources, this incursion and its tight control means deprivation of food and medical aid.

The occupation forces also continue to close the Karm Abu Salim crossing for the eleventh day in a row, with a complete halt to the entry of aid.

Number of displaced Palestinians leaving Rafah due to Israeli strikes rises to 360,000: UNRWA

RAMALLAH, Monday, May 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

The number of Palestinians who were forced to leave Rafah due to the ongoing Israeli offensive rose to 360,000, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees said on Monday.

“Nearly 360,000 people have fled Rafa'h since the first evacuation order a week ago,” UNRWA stated on X.

“Meanwhile, in north Gaza bombardments and other evacuation orders have created more displacement and fear for thousands of families,” it added.

The agency further underlined, “There’s nowhere to go. There’s NO safety without a ceasefire.”

More than 35,000 Palestinians have since been killed in Gaza, mostly women and children, and 78,400 others injured, according to Palestinian health authorities.

Over seven months into the Israeli war, vast swathes of Gaza lay in ruins, pushing 85% of the enclave’s population into internal displacement amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water, and medicine, according to the UN.

Israeli occupation regime forces continue to shut down Gaza's main crossings, causing human catastrophe

GAZA, Monday, May 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation regime forces continue to shut down the Rafa'h land crossings across the border with Egypt, and Karm Abu Salim, the only commercial crossing in the Gaza Strip.

A few days ago, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the occupation authorities to reopen the Rafa'h and Karm Abu Salim crossings “immediately” to allow the entry of  humanitarian aid the Gaza Strip, and called on them to stop this escalation.

"Closing the two crossings at the same time is particularly harmful to the already desperate humanitarian situation, and they must be reopened immediately," Guterres said.

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers prevent aid from reaching the Gaza Strip

RAMALLAH, Monday, May 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers today attacked humanitarian aid trucks near the Tarqoumiya checkpoint, west of Hebron, preventing their passage from the occupied West Bank to the Gaza Strip, and threw the contents of one of them on the ground.

For a week, Israel has continued to close the Rafa'h and Karm Abu Salim crossings to the crossing of aid, which has made the situation more disastrous in Gaza, where about 2.3 million Palestinian citizens live.

Video clips circulated on social media showed a group of Israeli colonists preventing trucks from advancing near the Tarqoumiya checkpoint.

The clips also showed a group of illegal Israeli settlers throwing the load of one of the trucks on the ground, to prevent it from entering the Gaza Strip, which it has besieged for the 18th year.

Israeli sources reported that the so-called “Order 9 members” and other demonstrators prevented the aid trucks that left Hebron from making their way to Gaza at the Tarqoumiya checkpoint.

"Order 9" is a right-wing illegal Israeli settler group that is leading protests to prevent humanitarian aid trucks from entering Gaza, which has been subjected to a devastating Israeli aggression since last October 7.

Earlier Monday, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned, via X platform, that Israel’s prevention of aid from reaching Gaza is “a matter of life and death” for the people of the Strip.
