While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

US judge allows deportation of Columbia University student Ma'hmoud Khaleel

Saturday 12-April-2025

WASHINGTON, (PIC)

A US court has ruled that President Donald Trump’s administration can proceed with the deportation of Columbia University student and Palestinian activist Ma'hmoud Khaleel, who was arrested in New York City last month.

Judge Jamee Comans of the LaSalle Immigration Court in Louisiana said she had no authority to overturn a decision regarding Khalil made by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio last month under the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act.

Rubio determined that Khalil should be deported because his presence in the US has “potentially serious foreign policy consequences.”

The judge’s decision is not the final say on whether Khalil will be deported. In a separate New Jersey federal court case, the US District Court Judge Michael Farbiarz stayed the deportation to consider Khalil’s claim that his March 8 arrest violates the First Amendment to the US Constitution, which guarantees freedom of speech.

Born in a Palestinian refugee camp in Syria, Khalil holds Algerian citizenship and became a legal permanent resident of the United States last year. His wife, Nour 'Abdullah, is a US citizen as well.

Khaleel is a prominent figure in the pro-Palestinian student protest movement that rocked the Columbia University campus in New York City.

The US President Donald Trump is seeking to deport pro-Palestinian students living in the United States.

Jordanian security forces prevent protest in Jordan Valley against Gaza genocide

Saturday 12-April-2025

AMMAN, (PIC)

Jordanian security forces on Friday prevented a public demonstration from taking place near the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Jordan Valley, close to the border with occupied Palestine, in protest against Israel’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Shortly after the Friday prayer, security forces forcibly dispersed the protest in front of Abu Aisha Mosque and arrested several participants, including Ahmad Barakat, a member of the Executive Bureau of the Islamic Action Front Party (Jordan’s main opposition party), Mustafa Al-Saqr from the Islamic Movement’s Executive Bureau (Muslim Brotherhood), and youth activists Osama Al-'Hardan, 'Eisa Al-Jitaawi, among others.

An eyewitness told Quds Press that the National Forum to Support the Resistance and Defend the Homeland (a coalition of political and trade union forces) had called for the demonstration to be held on April 11 in the Jordan Valley at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, near the Jordanian-Palestinian border. However, all roads leading to the demonstration site were blocked by security checkpoints.

According to the witness, when organizers were blocked from reaching the original location, they designated Sahaba Mosque as a new meeting point. After it too became inaccessible, protesters gathered at Abu Aisha Mosque, west of Amman. When the crowd exited Friday prayer, the demonstration was forcibly broken up and arrests were made.

Since Thursday evening, Jordanian authorities have set up dozens of checkpoints along all roads leading to the Jordan Valley from various governorates, surrounding the Sahaba Mosque and other key areas.

'Hasan Al-Riyati, a Member of Parliament from the Islamic Action Front, criticized the crackdown: “At a time when Jordan needs to strengthen internal unity to confront Israeli aggression and expansionist plans, we are witnessing a surprising official response—arresting people for simply supporting Gaza.”

He added: “It’s painful to see judicial cases brought against citizens for ‘disturbing relations with a friendly state’—referring to the Zionist occupation, which is the eternal enemy of the Muslim nation.”

Abdel Qader Al-Khatib, a lawyer with the Islamic Action Front’s Freedoms Committee, also denounced the crackdown of the protest: “This was a peaceful demonstration in support of the official Jordanian position rejecting the Judaization of the West Bank, changes to the status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the aggression against Gaza.”

He called on the Jordanian government to immediately release the detainees, urging authorities to direct their security focus toward confronting the Israeli occupation, not peaceful demonstrators.

The demonstration was one of several called for by Jordanian popular forces, including the National Forum for Supporting the Resistance, the Islamic Movement, the Popular Unity Party (a leftist nationalist party), and others, many of which have recently faced official bans.

The protest comes as Israel resumed its military onslaught on Gaza over four weeks ago, following a two-month truce, committing further massacres and tightening the siege on the already devastated Strip—prompting fresh waves of popular outrage across Jordan.

IOFs continue their genocidal war on Gaza for the 26th consecutive day

Saturday 12-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) continued their full-scale assault on the Gaza Strip, which resumed 26 days ago after Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, reneged on the ceasefire agreement, with political and military backing from the United States and unprecedented global inaction.

The IOFs committed further acts of genocide and massacres against civilians, displaced persons, and Palestinian families, raising the death toll since March 18 to 1,522 civilians, with another 3,834 injured to varying degrees.

According to official Palestinian figures released by the Ministry of Health, a total of 50,886 civilians have been killed and 115,857 others wounded — including serious and critical cases — since October 7, 2023.

Several civilians, most of them children, were injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus, in southern Gaza.

In another airstrike, Israeli jets bombed a house on Al-Nakheel Street in the Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, injuring multiple civilians — again, mostly children.

The IOFs also struck Al-'Attar area, west of Khan Younus, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

One civilian, 52 years old, was killed in the strike on a tent sheltering displaced persons west of Khan Younus.

Israeli warplanes also carried out a raid on the Qizan Al-Najjar area near the Happy City amusement park, south of Khan Younus.

Gaza Municipality: Thirst crisis deepens after Israeli bombardment damaged Mekorot water pipeline

Saturday 12-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Gaza Municipality said that the continued disruption of the Israeli occupation of the Mekorot water pipeline, as a result of the damage caused to it east of the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood, exacerbates the water crisis in the city, indicating that its crews “have the ability to repair it within 24 hours if the occupation allows it.”

The municipality revealed in a statement on Saturday that the occupation army is procrastinating in enabling its crews to reach the location of the broken water distribution line, stressing that it can repair the malfunction in the pipeline within 24 hours if its crews are allowed to reach the site in Al-Shuja'iyya.

The water line was severely damaged on Al-Muntar Street, near Al-Karama Street, as a result of the occupation forces’ incursion, which halted flow of water.

In its statement, the Gaza Municipality indicated that it exerted great efforts in coordination with the competent international authorities and organizations to enable its crews to reach the damaged area, and the final approval is being awaited to resume repair work.

The occupation authorities doubled the suffering of the residents of Gaza City, after it cut, last Saturday, the water coming from the Mekorot company, which represents 70 percent of the total supply available in it, amid warnings of a major thirst crisis among the displaced people who suffer from difficult living conditions.

Earlier, the Gaza Municipality warned of an unprecedented health and environmental disaster that threatens the lives of the city’s residents, due to the accumulation of 175,000 tons of waste and the leakage of sewage.

The municipality sounded the alarm about the outbreak of diseases and epidemics due to the accumulation of garbage in the streets of Gaza, and the leakage of sewage due to the huge destruction of the infrastructure, not to mention the decomposition of the bodies of victims under the rubble.

Rafa'h municipality condemns annexation of Rafah to Israel’s security zones

Saturday 12-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Rafah municipality in Gaza has strongly denounced Israeli war minister Yisrael Katz’s decision to annex the area stretching between the Morag road and the Salahuddin (Philadelphi) corridor, which constitutes the entire Rafah governorate, to Israel’s security zones.

“This unilateral decision blatantly violates international law and UN resolutions that assert the inviolability of the occupied Palestinian lands and our people’s national rights,” the municipality said in a statement on Saturday.

The municipality added that this Israeli declaration “does not change the fact that every inch of Rafah is an integral part of the Palestinian land and will remain so forever.”

The municipality called on the international community to shoulder its legal and humanitarian responsibilities in this regard and act urgently to halt Israel’s aggressive practices that target civilians and threatens to expand the conflict.

IOFs storm Bethlehem, injuries reported in Al-Khadhir

Saturday 12-April-2025

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out violent raids in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), including the towns of Al-Daw'ha to the west and Al-Khadhir to the south, on Friday evening.

According to local sources, the IOFs were seen stationed at Al-Radhi area along the main Jerusalem–al-Khalil road, as well as in Al-Daw'ha near the Al-Basha area and the water reservoir.

In Al-Khadhir, several Palestinians suffered from breathing problems due to the heavy fire of tear gas bombs during the renewed incursions.

Eyewitnesses reported that the IOF troops entered several neighborhoods in Al-Khadhir—Al-Sayfi, the Grand Mosque area, Al-Bawwaba, and Sabri—where they fired tear gas and sound grenades, causing multiple suffocation cases.

Al-Khadhir has been repeatedly targeted by Israeli forces, with frequent home raids and assaults on residents.

The Israeli military has also continued to attack schoolchildren in Al-Khadhir using tear gas and sound bombs in the old town, Al-Sahl area, and along the main road leading to Al-Bawwaba, escalating tensions and endangering civilians.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap Palestine TV crew in Jenin, seize equipment

JENIN, April 12, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces briefly kidnapped members of the Palestine TV crew on Saturday afternoon while they were reporting from the area surrounding Jenin refugee camp, which has been under continuous military assault for 82 days.

Local sources told WAFA that journalist Amna Belalo and cameraman Tareq Abu Zaid were assaulted and detained by Israeli soldiers during a live broadcast covering the ongoing military offensive in the camp. The forces also seized their press and personal equipment and prevented them from continuing their coverage.

Video footage circulating online showed the moment Israeli soldiers attacked Belalo and Abu Zaid while they were carrying out their journalistic duties, attempting to report live from the scene.

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate strongly condemned the assault and the detention of the two journalists, as well as the seizure of their equipment. The syndicate also reported that shots were fired in the direction of the journalists.

The Israeli military continues to prohibit media access to the Jenin refugee camp, obstructing coverage of the ongoing offensive and widespread demolitions. According to local estimates, around 600 homes have been destroyed, and approximately 3,000 housing units are no longer suitable for living.

Since the beginning of the assault, 36 Palestinians have been killed in Jenin governorate, with dozens more injured. The Israeli attack has also led to extensive detentions and forced displacement, with nearly 21,000 residents having been forced out of their homes.

'Hamas warns of settlers’ intent to preform Passover rituals at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Saturday 12-April-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Senior 'Hamas official, Haroun Nasiruddeen has warned that Jewish temple mount groups’ declared intent to perform animal sacrifice rituals at Al-Aqsa Mosque reflects persistence in targeting the Islamic holy site and igniting a religious conflict.

A few days ago, temple mount groups incited illegal Israeli settlers to try to slaughter sacrificial animals inside or around Al-Aqsa Mosque compound during the Passover holiday.

“The Palestinian people will not condone seeing the Aqsa Mosque being targeted regardless of the sacrifices and all forms of resistance will remain an unbreakable shield and barrier against the occupation and its schemes,” Nasiruddeen said in a statement on Saturday.

“Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque lie at the center of the conflict and represent the focal point of the struggle, which will stop only when the occupation is removed and the holy sites are cleansed of its defilement,” Nasiruddeen added.

The Hamas official described the Israeli attempts to defile Al-Aqsa Mosque with animal sacrifices as a “deliberate act of provocation against the Muslim nation.”

He urged the Palestinian masses in Jerusalem and 1948 occupied Palestine to move to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque during the coming days, and appealed to the Arab and Muslim nations to shoulder their religious and national responsibilities towards their holy site.

Illegal Israeli settlers steal 1,000 goats from Palestinian farms in the West Bank

Saturday 12-April-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

Palestinian farmer Mu'hammed Nayif al-War stood in his nearly empty goat pens in the occupied West Bank after they were looted recently by a horde of extremist illegal Israeli settlers, lamenting that his work and effort over 30 years were gone in just a few minutes.

In February, armed settlers stormed Palestinian farms located on the outskirts of Dair Dibwan town in eastern Ramallah and stole about 1,000 head of goats, as well as horses and a car, belonging to al-War and other local residents.

Al-War said he filed a complaint with the competent Palestinian and Israeli authorities and hired a lawyer in order to restore what had been stolen from him.

However, he expressed doubt about his ability to have his herd back, adding his goats had been seen in different settler outposts in the area, including an outpost near Al-Mughayyir town in eastern Ramallah.

He said that the settlers living illegally in the area had escalated their crimes in Dair Dibwan town before the October 7, 2023 events in an attempt to force the locals to leave their lands as a prelude to seizing them.

He pointed out that their town is located in Area B of the West Bank, which is under the administrative control of the Palestinian Authority according to the 1995 Oslo accord.

Human rights groups issue daily reports and statements about the occurrence of settler attacks and violations in different West Bank areas, including in the northern Jordan Valley and Masafir Yatta.

UN official: Over 60,000 children under five in Gaza suffering from malnutrition

ANTALYA, April 12, 2025 (WAFA) –

United Nations Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process and Humanitarian and Reconstruction Affairs in Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, has warned that more than 60,000 children under the age of five in Gaza are suffering from malnutrition.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency on the sidelines of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum in southern Turkey, Kaag said that humanitarian aid delivered by the UN during the ceasefire period had successfully reached those in need. However, she noted that the flow of aid has stopped since mid-March, as entry has not been permitted since that time.

Kaag stressed that humanitarian workers are facing severe shortages in equipment needed for their operations, and fuel supplies required to run hospitals have been completely depleted. This, she explained, has led to a breakdown in the distribution of humanitarian assistance.

“We know that over 60,000 children under the age of five in Gaza are suffering from malnutrition. Each number in these statistics represents a person, a life, and a struggle to survive,” Kaag emphasized.

She pointed out that under international law, Israel is obligated to allow the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, underscoring the urgent need for access. Kaag also condemned the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza, stating that they not only affect civilians but also pose a terrifying threat to humanitarian workers, most of whom are Palestinian civilians.

UNRWA: Infants in Gaza going to bed hungry due to severe shortages of essential supplies

NEW YORK, April 12, 2025 (WAFA) –

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has warned that all essential supplies in Gaza are nearly depleted, raising fears that even infants are going to bed hungry.

In a statement released Saturday, Juliette Touma, UNRWA's Director of Communications, called for immediate international action to prevent the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

Touma emphasized that six weeks into the Israeli-imposed blockade, which has halted both humanitarian aid and commercial supplies, food stocks are nearly exhausted. She reported that bakeries have shut down and hunger is spreading rapidly among the population.

"This is a man-made crisis that requires urgent action," Touma stated, urging an unimpeded delivery of essential aid and supplies without further delay.

UN official: Over 60,000 Gaza kids suffer malnutrition

Saturday 12-April-2025

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The UN humanitarian and reconstruction coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, has said that more than 60,000 children under the age of five in Gaza are suffering from malnourishment.

She emphasized that each number in these statistics represents a human life and a personal struggle to survive.

Speaking on Saturday to Anadolu news agency during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, held at the NEST Congress Center in the Turkish town of Belek, Kaag addressed the collapse of humanitarian access in Gaza.

Kaag stated that during the ceasefire, aid deliveries coordinated by the UN reached those in need without interruption.

However, she noted, “as part of the ceasefire agreement, the flow of humanitarian aid was ensured, but since the second half of March, aid deliveries have not been allowed.”

She also explained that humanitarian operations on the ground are now hindered by shortages of equipment and fuel, making it increasingly difficult to run hospitals and distribute aid.

Kaag voiced alarm at the deteriorating health conditions among children in Gaza. “We now know that more than 60,000 children under the age of five are suffering from malnutrition in Gaza. Each of these statistics represents a human life and a fight to survive.”

She underlined that under international law, Israel is obligated to allow humanitarian access, and insisted that aid must reach Gaza immediately.

Kaag also expressed concern for the safety of humanitarian personnel operating in the embattled Gaza Strip. “Israel’s attacks on Gaza are horrifying not only for civilians but also for international humanitarian workers, most of whom are Palestinian civilians.”

UNRWA: Gaza is approaching extreme hunger, infants and children sleep hungry

Saturday 12-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that Gaza Strip is approaching “extreme hunger”, as essential supplies in the Strip are about to run out due to the ongoing Israeli blockade and the closure of crossings since March 2.

Juliette Touma, UNRWA’s Director of Information and Communication, said in a press release, “With the Israeli authorities’ blockade of Gaza ongoing for more than six weeks, all essential supplies are on the verge of running out.”

Touma explained that the depletion of basic supplies is accompanied by a “significant increase in the prices” of goods in Gaza over the past month, which led to infants and children sleeping hungry.

She emphasized that without “ essential supplies, the Gaza Strip is nearing a state of extreme hunger every day,” calling for the immediate resumption of the ceasefire in Gaza, lifting the siege and allowing unimpeded entry of humanitarian and commercial supplies.

Since March 2, Israeli occupation forces have been closing Gaza Strip crossings to the entry of humanitarian, relief and medical aid into the enclave, causing an unprecedented deterioration of the humanitarian situation.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
