While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Hamas delays release of more captives, accuses Israel of ceasefire violations

Monday 10-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of 'Hamas, has announced that the next release of Israeli captives scheduled to take place in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, February 15, will be postponed, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire deal.

In a post on his Telegram account on Monday, spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu 'Obayda, said that “the handover of the Zionist prisoners who were slated for release next Saturday, February 15, 2025, will be postponed until further notice, and until the (Israeli occupation regime abides by the terms of the ceasefire agreement) and compensates for the past weeks retroactively.”

“During the past three weeks, the resistance commandership has monitored the enemy’s violations and its failure to abide by the terms of the agreement, including delaying the return of the displaced to the northern Gaza Strip, and targeting them with shelling and gunfire,” Abu 'Obayda added.

“We affirm our commitment to the terms of the agreement as long as the occupation honors them,” the spokesman affirmed.

'Hamas: Captive release delay is a warning to Israel, to the terms of the ceasefire agreement

Monday 10-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, said on Monday evening that its decision to halt the release of captives “until further notice” is meant as a warning to Israel and an attempt to pressure it into fully adhering to the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

“We affirm our commitment to the terms of the agreement as long as the occupation commits to them,” the Movement said.

'Hamas detailed various violations of the agreement by Israel over the past three weeks, including “delaying the return of the displaced to the northern Gaza Strip, targeting them with shelling and gunfire in various areas of the Strip, and not allowing the entry of relief supplies in all their forms according to what was agreed upon.”

'Hamas also said that Israel is not allowing tents, prefabricated houses, fuel, or rubble-removing mechanisms into the Strip, stressing that Israel was delaying the entry of essential medicines and hospital supplies.

“By issuing this statement five full days ahead of the scheduled prisoner handover, 'Hamas aims to grant mediators sufficient time to pressure the occupation to fulfill its obligations,” the statement reads.

“This also leaves the door open for the exchange to proceed as planned, provided the occupation complies.”

In a post on X, Abu 'Obayda, the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, the 'Hamas armed wing, said that the handover of the Israeli captives “who were scheduled to be released next Saturday will be postponed until further notice, and until the occupation commits to and compensates for the entitlements of the past weeks retroactively.”

Hamas blames Netanyahu for suspension of next prisoner swap

Monday 10-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas held Israeli premier, Benjamin Netanyahu, responsible for the Palestinian resistance’s decision to postpone the handover of Israeli captives who were scheduled for release on Saturday, February 15.

'Hamas spokesman, 'Abdul-Lateef Al-Qannou' told Al-'Araby satellite channel on Monday evening that the Israeli occupation government had violated the ceasefire agreement in the past weeks and prevented the entry of aid, fuel and tents.

“The occupation is waging a new war on the population of Gaza through barring the entry of aid and continuing its siege on the Strip,” spokesman Al-Qannou' said.

The spokesman called on the mediators to pressure the Israeli government to abide by the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

He pointed out that his Movement had appealed to the mediators a week ago to oblige the Israelis to honor what was agreed upon in the first phase of the agreement.

He stressed that 'Hamas remains committed to the ceasefire agreement as long as the Israelis abide by its terms.

In a post on his Telegram account on Monday, spokesman for the Brigades Abu 'Obayda said that “the handover of the Zionist prisoners who were slated for release next Saturday, February 15, 2025, will be postponed until further notice, and until the occupation abides [by the terms of the ceasefire agreement] and compensates for the past weeks retroactively.”

Hamas: Israel still hinders humanitarian protocol implementation

Monday 10-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement accused Israel on Sunday of hindering the delivery of humanitarian aid into Gaza under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

“Twenty-two days from the ceasefire have passed, and the Israeli occupation still hinders the implementation of the humanitarian protocol, especially the entry of tents, fuel, and heavy machinery,” Hamas spokesman Abdul Lateef Al-Qannou' said in press statements.

The spokesman called on mediators to pile pressure on Israel “to oblige it to strictly implement the ceasefire agreement, including the entry of urgent medical and relief supplies to save the lives of our people.”

On Friday, Salama Ma'rouf, who heads Gaza’s Government Media Office, said that humanitarian conditions in Gaza remain catastrophic as Israel still denies access to humanitarian aid.

According to Ma'rouf, only 8,500 aid trucks have entered Gaza since Jan. 19, far below the 12,000 expected under the ceasefire agreement.

The first six-week phase of the ceasefire agreement took effect on Jan. 19, suspending Israel’s genocidal war that has killed nearly 48,200 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and left the enclave in ruins.

'Hamas: Trump’s remarks on Gaza reflect “deep ignorance of Palestine”

Monday 10-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Member of Hamas’s political bureau 'Izzat Al-Resheq condemned the US president Donald Trump’s renewed remarks about "owning Gaza,” calling them “frivolous.”

In a statement on Monday, Al-Resheq said that such remarks about Gaza reflect “deep ignorance of Palestine and the region.”

“Gaza is not real estate that can be bought or sold. It is an integral part of our occupied Palestinian land,” Al-Resheq underscored.

“Dealing with the Palestinian cause with the mentality of a real estate businessman is a recipe for failure,” Al-Resheq said.

“Gaza belongs to its people, and they will not leave it except when they return to their cities and villages that came under occupation in 1948,” the 'Hamas official added.

United States President, Donald Trump, has reiterated his controversial proposal to take control of Gaza, saying he is committed to “buying and owning” the war-ravaged enclave.

Speaking to reporters on board a presidential plane on Sunday, Trump said Gaza should be thought of as a “big real estate site” and other countries in the Middle East could be tasked with handling its redevelopment.

“As far as us rebuilding it, we may give it to other states in the Middle East to build sections of it; other people may do it, through our auspices,” Trump said.

“But we are committed to owning it, taking it, and making sure that Hamas does not move back. There is nothing to move back into. The place is a demolition site.”

Trump also claimed that displaced Palestinians would prefer not to return to Gaza despite his proposal prompting backlash from Palestinian officials and much of the international community.

“If we could give them a home in a safer area – the only reason they are talking about returning to Gaza is they do not have an alternative. When they have an alternative, they do not want to return to Gaza,” the US president said.

'Hamas: US plans for Gaza are ‘doomed’

Monday 10-February-2025

TEHRAN, (PIC)

Senior 'Hamas leader Khaleel Al-'Hayya said that the plans of the West—the United States—and the US President, Donald Trump, for the Gaza Strip are “doomed.”

“We will bring them down as we brought down the projects before them,” he said during a commemoration of the 46th anniversary of the Iranian revolution in Tehran.

Al-'Hayya expressed the 'Hamas confidence in Tehran’s commitment to stand by the Palestinian cause and rights, and resistance for decades.

Trump said yesterday that he was committed to owning Gaza, but could allow sections of the war-ravaged land to be rebuilt by other countries in the Middle East.

Municipalities in central Gaza declare their areas as “Disaster Zones Unfit for Living”

Monday 10-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Three municipalities in the central Gaza Strip have declared their areas of influence as “disaster zones unfit for living” due to the destruction caused by the Israeli occupation to all aspects of life, necessitating urgent relief in all fields, including infrastructure, health, and education.

The municipalities of Al-Mughraqah, Al-Zahra, and Wadi Gaza said in a statement on Monday that the occupying army deliberately destroyed all buildings and homes of citizens within the jurisdiction of the three municipalities during the genocide, leading to the demolition of approximately thirteen thousand two hundred (13,200) housing units, leaving tens of thousands of citizens homeless.

They indicated that the occupying army systematically demolished 24 water wells and water tanks with a capacity exceeding 1,300 cubic meters, and destroyed water networks, resulting in a lack of water and forcing people to relocate.

According to the statement, the occupation army destroyed thousands of dunums of agricultural land and executed livestock and farms in the area, which was one of the most important sources supplying the local market with agricultural and livestock products.

The municipalities added that the occupation army destroyed the sewage networks and all three sewage pumps in their areas of influence.

They pointed out that the occupation forces worked to destroy all educational facilities, including schools, universities, and kindergartens, estimated at 28 educational institutions, depriving thousands of students of their right to education.

Additionally, it destroyed and razed all roads, estimated at more than 100 kilometers in length, along with electricity networks and internet lines, causing difficulties in communication and depriving people of freedom of movement and safe transit.

The municipalities called on international parties and institutions working in the fields of water, sewage, and roads to bring in maintenance equipment, heavy machinery, and generators to start repairing the damage and providing basic services to citizens.

They also demanded the allocation of temporary housing units (caravans) for displaced residents in the mentioned areas as an alternative and temporary shelter until reconstruction and the return of citizens to their homes, indicating a need for 11,500 temporary housing units to shelter more than 41,000 citizens.

The municipalities urged media and human rights organizations to document war crimes in order to pursue the occupation leaders in international forums, noting that the total losses within the jurisdiction of the three municipalities are estimated at around one billion dollars across all sectors.

The municipalities affirmed that responding to their call “is not just a moral and humanitarian obligation, but an international responsibility that requires concerted efforts to ensure shelter that preserves the dignity of those affected, providing them with security and stability in the harsh conditions they face.”

The statement read, “The area faces significant challenges, but at the same time, we must have real opportunities for urgent relief and reconstruction, by doubling the efforts made by the concerned parties, whether at the local or international level. These efforts represent an important step towards restoring normal life and enhancing stability in these areas.”

It emphasized that this mission is a shared responsibility between the local and international community, stating, “Its success depends on solidarity and continuous work to achieve a more sustainable and prosperous future for the residents of these three municipalities.”

Jineen: Israeli military assault continues for the 21st day as 25 Palestinians are killed

Jineen, February 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation continues the aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 21st consecutive day, which has so far killed 25 Palestinians and left dozens of injuries.

Yesterday, a small number of journalists and civilians were able to enter Al-'Hawasheen neighborhood, the camp square, and Al-Samran neighborhood, where the extent of the destruction was very massive and unprecedented, as the occupation destroyed all the citizens' properties, their shops, and their homes, and turned the streets into squares of ruin and rubble.

Jineen Assistant Governor Mansour Al-Sa'di said in a press statement yesterday that the occupation completely destroyed the Jineen refugee camp, and displaced about 20,000 people from inside it.

The occupation soldiers opened fire on the journalists present in the Jenin camp, detained a group of them, interrogated them, confiscated their phones, and prevented them from returning to the camp.

The occupation continues to demolish and burn the homes of citizens in the camp, amid intensive flying of drones.

Israeli military vehicles continue to besiege Jenin Governmental Hospital after bulldozing its entrance and the main street leading to it.

For the 21st consecutive day, the hospital departments are suffering from a severe shortage of potable water, while the necessary hospital departments are operating at their minimum capacity due to the occupation's aggression that makes it difficult for patients to reach it.

The occupation forces detained four citizens from the town of Silat Al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, at dawn today, after besieging and burning a house.

They also destroyed the contents of another house and smashed a shop.

The occupation continues to send military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers to the city of Jenin and the surroundings of the camp.

Israeli aggression on Toulkarm enters its 15th day admit escalation

TULKARM, February 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces continue the extensive aggression on the city of Toulkarm and its two camps, Toulkarm and Nour Shams, for the 15th consecutive day, amid military escalation and the imposition of a tight siege that exacerbates the suffering of the local residents.

The occupation forces sent more military reinforcements, while carrying out extensive raids on homes while firing live ammunition, and hearing the sounds of huge explosions, especially in Nour Shams camp, and destroying the infrastructure and citizens' property.

The occupation forces are still imposing a tight siege on Nour Shams camp, and preventing people from leaving it, while raiding homes in the neighborhoods of Jabal al-Nasr, Jabal Al-Saliheen, and Al-Manshiya, and turning them into military outposts, and detaining their residents in difficult conditions, including women and children, while seizing residential buildings in areas in the suburbs of Dthanaba and Iktaba adjacent to the camp and turning them into military outposts.

The occupation bulldozers also caused extensive damage to the infrastructure on Nablus Street, which connects Nour Shams camp to the town of Anabta, passing through Bal'a roundabout, east of the governorate, in conjunction with the bulldozing and destruction of the infrastructure at the entrances to Nour Shams camp and in its neighborhoods, specifically the neighborhoods of Al-Manshiya, Al-Qalansawi and Al-Maslakh. Large parts of homes and shops were destroyed.

The occupation forces are still imposing their siege on Toulkarm refugee camp, and are firing heavy bullets randomly, seizing homes and buildings in all its neighborhoods, and deploying infantry soldiers in them.

They also continued to seize a number of homes in its vicinity and convert them into military outposts and sniper positions.

The daily suffering of people who are still in their homes on the outskirts of the camp is exacerbated by the tight siege and the accompanying power, water, communications and internet outages due to the complete destruction of the infrastructure, in addition to the severe shortage of food, drinking water and medicines, especially for the elderly who suffer from chronic diseases.

In Toulkarm city, the occupation forces deployed infantry soldiers in the city's neighborhoods, specifically the eastern, southern and northern ones, raided a number of homes, and seized surveillance camera recordings, while tightening the siege on the eastern neighborhood, especially in Al-Muqata'a Street area, and preventing the movement of residents who issued appeals to provide their basic needs.

The occupation forces also continued the siege of the Martyr Thabit Thabit Governmental Hospital, deploying their vehicles and infantry soldiers at its entrances, obstructing the work of ambulances and medical crews, and subjecting anyone who wanted to enter the hospital to inspection and interrogation.

Last night, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed, in a brief statement, the killing of Iyas 'Adli Fakhri Al-Akhras, 20, in Nour Shams refugee camp, bringing the number of the slain Palestinians in the camp to three as, earlier today, both Sundus Jamal Mu'hammed Shalabi, 23, and her fetus, and Rahaf Fou-ad 'Abdullah Al-Ashqar, 21, were killed, and seven others were injured.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continued for the third day to close the Jabara Bridge at the southern entrance to the city of Toulkarm, which connects the city to the villages of Al-Kafriyat and the governorates of the West Bank.

He added that the occupation forces have been forcibly removing the doors of the homes since the morning hours, and blowing up the entrances to some of them, noting that a number of the owners of these homes had been forcibly displaced two days ago. During this, the forces are destroying and breaking the contents of the homes from the inside.

Mansour indicated that the occupation forces are still sending additional military reinforcements from the Al-Hamra checkpoint towards the camp.

He stressed that the humanitarian situation in the camp is worsening with the continued water outage for the ninth consecutive day, and the depletion of drinking water from homes, in addition to a severe shortage of food, medicines for patients, and baby milk.

He added that the aid allowed into the camp is not even enough for a small number of residents, noting that the occupation forces are preventing the entry of aid despite its availability in sufficient quantities.

In the meantime, a woman was injured by shrapnel during the ongoing Israeli military raid on Al-Fari'a refugee camp, where soldiers stormed several homes.

Local sources reported that the 42-year-old woman was wounded when Israeli forces detonated the door of her house while raiding it.

Medical teams confirmed that they were able to reach the injured woman, who sustained shrapnel wounds to the head. Her condition was reported as stable, and she was transferred to Tubas Turkish Governmental Hospital for further treatment.

Hundreds of Palestinians displaced amid Israeli assault on Nour Shams refugee camp

Credit: Wahaj Bani Moufli'h

TOULKARM, February 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

The humanitarian crisis in Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Toulkarm, is worsening as Israeli occupation forces continue their wide-scale onslaught that has forced hundreds of residents to flee their homes under threat of gunfire.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing dozens of families leaving the camp under duress, forced out at gunpoint while Israeli forces fired live bullets randomly. Explosions were also heard intermittently, heightening the fear and chaos among the displaced residents.

During their forced displacement, many residents described the harrowing ordeal of being held in the rain and mud for hours. Young men and adults, in particular, were subjected to physical searches, mistreatment, and prolonged detention before being allowed to leave. Others spoke of the devastation left behind, with homes and shops reduced to rubble and roads dug up.

Soldiers raided homes violently, breaking furniture, assaulting young men, and expelling elderly residents without allowing them to take even basic necessities such as clothing. Mobile phones were also confiscated.

Nihad Al-Shaweesh, head of the Nour Shams Popular Services Committee, described the situation in the camp as extremely dire. He confirmed that Israeli forces had reached large sections of the camp, storming homes by blowing up their doors while residents were still inside. People were then forced out under threat.

The displacement has been particularly severe in neighborhoods such as Al-Maslakh, Al-Manshiya, Jabal Al-Sali'heen, and Jabal Al-Nasr, which are now nearly deserted. Families have been directed to various locations, including Toulkarm city, the Dthanaba suburb, and the town of 'Anabta. Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society is assisting elderly residents and those in need of medical care by relocating them to safer areas.

In addition to the human suffering, bulldozers have destroyed much of the camp’s infrastructure, cutting off electricity, water, and internet services. Homes, businesses, and vehicles have also been damaged, especially in Al-Manshiya and Jabal Al-Sali'heen, with destruction now spreading to the camp’s inner streets.

The Emergency Committee of Nour Shams Refugee Camp announced on Monday that half of the camp’s residents had fled, while 200 homes had been completely destroyed and 120 others partially damaged. The numbers are expected to rise as the situation unfolds.

Amid the ongoing assault, residents have made urgent appeals for intervention, particularly in heavily targeted areas where people remain trapped in partially destroyed homes. One such case involved the Al-Qusayr family in Jabal Al-Sali'heen.

The Israeli forces initially stormed the camp at dawn on Sunday as part of their 15-day-long offensive in Toulkarm and its refugee camp. A strict siege has been imposed, accompanied by live fire, resulting so far in the killing of three Palestinians, including two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant.

Israeli occupation forces expand open-fire orders in the West Bank, says Israeli newspapers

RAMALLAH, February 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli newspaper Haaretz said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army has expanded its open-fire orders in the occupied West Bank, leading to an increase in the number of Palestinian civilian casualties.

The newspaper added, quoting commanders of units in the occupation army, that the so-called "Central Command" has decided to implement the open-fire mechanism it used in the Gaza Strip to kill any unarmed Palestinian, whether suspected or not, in the West Bank.

The newspaper explained that "the broad open-fire orders made it easier for soldiers to pull the trigger at the behest of the commander of the Central Command, Avi Balut."

Since January 21, the Israeli occupation has continued an unprecedented aggression on the northern West Bank governorates, starting with Jenin and its camp, before expanding it to the city of Toulkarm and its camps, Toulkarm and Nour Shams, as well as town of Tammoun and Al-Fari'a camp in the Toubas governorate.

Haaretz quoted soldiers who participated in the ongoing aggression on the West Bank as saying, "Balut allowed shooting to kill Palestinians without resorting to detaining them."

The newspaper quoted the leaders of the occupation army units, saying that "the commander of the West Bank Division, Yaki Dolph, ordered to shoot at any vehicle coming from a combat zone towards a checkpoint; which was implemented on Sunday when soldiers opened fire on a car that was on its way to a military checkpoint, carrying a man and a woman, which led to their killing, even though they were not armed."

Yesterday, Sundus Jamal Mu'hammed Shalabi, 23, and her fetus were killed, while her husband was critically wounded in the head after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on the vehicle they were riding in while trying to flee from the Nour Shams camp east of Toulkarm.

The newspaper explained that "an Israeli military force used Palestinian civilians to search buildings believed to contain explosives, similar to what happened in the Gaza Strip, when the army used civilians as human shields."

Meanwhile, Haaretz revealed the details of the killing of  Rahaf Fouad 'Abdullah Al-Ashqar, 21, in the Nour Shams camp yesterday.

The newspaper said that the occupation army planted a bomb in order to blow up the entrance to the house and storm it, without informing those inside, and when Rahaf opened the door, the bomb exploded, leading to her killing.

In parallel with the genocidal war that it launched on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation and colonists escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), which resulted in the killing of 910 citizens, including 183 children, and the injury of about 7,000 others.

Since the beginning of this year 2025, 75 Palestinians have been killed, including 11 children, according to data issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

International conference in Norway calls for suspending Israeli’s membership in international organizations

OSLO, February 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Anti-Apartheid Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization participated in the international conference organized by the Free Speech, Jewish Voice, and Lower the Arms organizations in the Norwegian capital Oslo, calling for the suspension of the membership of the occupying state of Israel in international organizations.

The conference witnessed a wide attendance of prominent figures in the academic, political, human rights, and media fields, from more than thirteen countries.

The Palestinian delegation participating in the conference was headed by member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, head of the Anti-Apartheid Department, Ramzi Raba'h, along with member of the European-Palestinian Initiative Against Apartheid and Colonial Settlement, George Rishmawi.

In his speech, Raba'h gave a comprehensive and detailed presentation of the current situation after fifteen months of the Israeli aggression and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip.

He spoke about the tragic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip due to the occupation state preventing the entry of relief and humanitarian aid, including food, fuel, medicine and temporary housing, in light of the international silence and inability to take urgent and necessary measures to stop the machine of destruction launched by the Israeli occupation government, which began to transfer its war to the camps, cities and villages in the occupied West Bank.

Raba'h touched on the occupation's attempt to control the Gaza Strip and close the main office of UNRWA in occupied Jerusalem, which deprived millions of refugees from benefiting from the services provided by the agency in the fields of education, employment and health.

The conference called for taking clear decisions commensurate with the size of the risks and challenges facing the Palestinian people, stressing the need to increase the pace of popular movements and expand their scope, with the aim of pressuring Western governments to commit to implementing international legitimacy resolutions and respecting the rules of international law and international humanitarian law.

He stressed the need to activate the decisions of the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, implement them, and follow up on efforts aimed at holding war criminals accountable and punishing them, in addition to implementing decisions related to ending the occupation of the Palestinian territories that have been occupied since 1967.

At the end of his speech, the Executive Committee member stressed the continuation of the Palestinian people's just struggle and their insistence on achieving their legitimate national goals that cannot be waived, stressing the importance of adhering to the decisions of international legitimacy and international law, while adhering to their right to return to the homes from which they were displaced in 1948, and their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The participants in the international conference called for ending the partnership agreement between the European Union and the occupying state of Israel, and imposing economic sanctions on it in the event that it does not abide by international law and stop its illegal occupation of the Palestinian territories.

They also called for taking clear measures that include depriving the occupying state of membership and freezing it in international institutions, as long as it does not abide by the laws and decisions of international legitimacy.

Egypt slams Israeli remarks that belittled Egyptian efforts in Gaza

CAIRO, February 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

Egypt has expressed its disapproval of the statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to an American media channel, which included deliberate and unacceptable allegations and misleading statements that contradict the efforts made by Egypt since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, as it helped with the entry of urgent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, the latest of which is more than 5,000 trucks from Egypt since the ceasefire and facilitating the passage of the wounded, injured and dual nationals.

Egypt stressed in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that these statements aim to cover up and divert attention from the flagrant violations committed by Israel against civilians, and the destruction of vital Palestinian facilities, including hospitals, educational institutions, power stations and drinking water, in addition to the use of siege and starvation as a weapon against civilians.

Egypt also expressed its complete rejection of any statements targeting the displacement of the Palestinian people to Egypt, Jordan or Saudi Arabia, and its solidarity with the brave people of Gaza who cling to their land despite all the horrors they are exposed to, in order to defend their just and legitimate cause, stressing adherence to the firm Egyptian and Arab constants based on the right of the Palestinian people to establish their state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Egypt condemns Netanyahu’s claims and affirms solidarity with the brave people of Gaza

Monday 10-February-2025

CAIRO, (PIC)

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its disapproval of statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in American media, describing them as “claims and deliberate misinformation.”

In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said, “Egypt confirms that these statements aim to cover up and distract attention from the blatant violations committed by Israel against civilians and the destruction of vital Palestinian facilities, including hospitals, educational institutions, and electricity and drinking water stations, as well as the use of siege and starvation as weapons against civilians.”

Egypt completely rejects any statements aimed at displacing the Palestinian people to Egypt, Jordan, or Saudi Arabia, and expresses its “solidarity with the brave people of Gaza who cling to their land despite all the horrors they face in defense of their just and legitimate cause.”

The ministry also reaffirmed its commitment to the steadfast Egyptian and Arab principles based on the right of the Palestinian people to establish their state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with Jerusalem as its capital.

In an interview with Fox News, Netanyahu accused Egypt of preventing residents of Gaza from leaving the territory, saying, “Some were bribing the guards (at the crossing). Therefore, only the extremely wealthy managed to leave, while those who wanted to depart could not.” He added that Palestinians in Gaza should be given the option to move elsewhere.

Netanyahu claimed that Palestinians in Gaza want to leave the territory, saying he had received numerous requests from Palestinians to leave Gaza even before the outbreak of the war on October 7, 2023.

With American support, Israel has committed genocide in Gaza for 15 months, resulting in around 160,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of whom are children and women, along with over 14,000 missing persons.

UN rapporteurs condemn Trump's decision to impose sanctions on ICC officials

NEW YORK, February 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

UN rapporteurs condemned on Monday US President Donald Trump's decision to impose sanctions on International Criminal Court (ICC) officials.

The UN rapporteurs stated in a statement that Trump's decision is an assault on the rule of international law, expressing their deep concern over the imposition of sanctions on court personnel and individuals or entities who cooperate with it.

They stressed that this decision aims to overturn the international judicial system and will result in financial restrictions, and will weaken the court and thus the investigation of war crimes committed in different parts of the world.

The statement pointed out that the judicial authority enjoyed by the International Criminal Court has not been used in a manner contrary to international law, indicating that Trump's decision will significantly undermine the work of the International Criminal Court.

The statement stressed that the United States of America "strengthens the power of perpetrators of war crimes" by trying to punish the International Criminal Court.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
