No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

Death toll surges in Gaza after four citizens die of injuries and more bodies of martyrs recovered

During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of eight martyrs while four wounded citizens died of injuries sustained during the war, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Wednesday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health also said that medical crews provided medical assistance for four wounded citizens, without stating how they were injured.

Accordingly, the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, climbed to 47,552 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 11,629 people.

The health ministry pointed out that efforts are underway to recover the bodies of many martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian teen killed, child injured in IOFs shooting in eastern Rafa'h

A Palestinian teenager was killed and a child was injured by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) shooting in eastern Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip, on Wednesday morning.

Local sources identified the martyr as 18-year-old Uday Al-Dabari who was shot in the chest and the 16-year-old child Sub'hi Al-Suadni was injured with a bullet in his back.

The IOFs unjustifiably open fire at citizens in Gaza Strip even after the ceasefire went into effect on January 19, killing and injuring a number of them.

3 Palestinians killed in Rafa'h in new Israeli violation of ceasefire deal

Three Palestinians were killed by the Israeli gunfire in Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday evening.

The victims were identified as Mu'hammed 'Awda 'Awwad Al-Dabari, 'Abdullah Sub'hi Al-Sa’adini, and 'Hamza Al-Hams.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that four Palestinians were killed over the past 24 hours while 11 others were injured.

The death toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 47,552 martyrs since October 7, 2023. 111,629 more people were injured.

Gaza Municipality: Environmental catastrophe threatening residents in Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood

The Gaza Municipality has warned of a catastrophic situation in the rainwater collection pool in Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood, north of the city, which signals an escalation of the environmental, health, and humanitarian crisis in the area.

In a statement on Tuesday, the municipality indicated that water levels in the pool have reached a dangerous threshold with the ongoing influx of wastewater, coinciding with the return of displaced persons to the city and expectations of increased rainfall, which threatens to overflow the pool.

The statement noted that the pool is suffering from rising quantities of wastewater, leading to critical water levels that threaten to flood surrounding neighborhoods and areas, in addition to negatively impacting the aquifer, polluting the environment, and spreading diseases.

The municipality pointed out that the Israeli occupation’s prevention of necessary pipes for maintaining the pool’s drainage line hinders the discharge of excess water and rerouting of wastewater, and thus exacerbating the problem.

It was also highlighted that repeated Israeli bombardments have destroyed wastewater treatment stations and electrical generators in the pool, damaging the pumping system, with significant losses in 4 out of 6 pumps.

The Gaza Municipality appealed to the international community and relevant organizations for urgent intervention to save the situation in the Sheikh Radwan pool. It called for the facilitation of pipe entry, provision of technical and financial support for repairing the damaged infrastructure, and the necessary equipment for operating and maintaining the pool, as well as working to provide a sustainable electricity source to operate the water pumps so that municipal teams can carry out comprehensive maintenance of the pumping system in the pool.

The Gaza Municipality faces significant obstacles in repairing damages and operating external pumps due to a shortage of fuel, machinery, equipment, and necessary pipes, a consequence of the 15-month-long war. According to the municipality, 132 of its vehicles have been destroyed and rendered inoperable since the onset of the Israeli war, accounting for 85% of the municipality’s total vehicles.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap eight Palestinians from Tammoun

Israeli occupation forces Wednesday detained eight Palestinians in the course of the ongoing aggression on Tammoun town, south of the northern occupied West Bank city of Tubas, according to the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Kamal Bani 'Oadah, Director of the PPS Office in Tubas, said that the occupying forces rounded up eight residents from the town since the morning hours.

He added that the gun-toting soldiers were still conducting house-to-house raids in the town, arresting civilians and subjecting them to interrogation.

The occupation forces have continued a massive onslaught on Tammoun town and Al-Fari'a refugee camp for the fourth consecutive day, maintaining a tight siege and causing a shortage of water, a lack of essential supplies such as infant formula, diapers, and medicine.

They deliberately ploughed through infrastructure, destroying main water pipelines, leading to a water shortage and causing a power outage in parts of the town and the camp.

The onslaught comes as the occupation forces continue to wage large-scale aggressions on Jenin city and camp as well as on the city and the refugee camp of Toulkarm.

This comes as the occupation forces tightened military measures across the occupied West Bank hours after the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire went into effect, dismembering and isolating cities and governorates one from the other using military gates, barriers and concrete blocks.

The Israeli military measures are in parallel with ongoing attacks by Israeli colonists across the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians and displace them from their lands to seize them and build illegal Jewish colonies that separate Palestinian communities.

 IOFs kidnap and detains dozens of Palestinians in West Bank raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped and detained dozens of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and Wednesday morning, amid clashes with local youths in some areas.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped two citizens, including a teenager, from their homes in Kafr 'Ain village, northwest of Ramallah, and another one from al-Masyoun neighborhood of Ramallah City.

The IOFs also kidnapped a citizen from his apartment in Umm Al-Sharayit neighborhood of al-Bireh City in Ramallah province.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs kidnapped two young men after ransacking their homes in 'Azzoun town.

In Toulkarm, two citizens were kidnaped by the IOF from the city’s Iktaba suburb.

In Nablus, the IOFs kidnapped three young men from their homes in the towns of Madama and Surra and the village of Qusin.

Two other citizens were kidnaped during an IOFs raid in the new refugee camp of Askar in Nablus City.

The IOFs also stormed other areas of Nablus province and clashed with local youths in Tal village.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped two citizens during raids on homes in Bait Ummar town and another one from Al-Karmil town.

30 other citizens were taken prisoners during an IOFs raid on the southern area of Al-Khaleel City, mainly from the neighborhood of Diwan Abu Sunaynah.

Local sources said that the IOFs raided dozens of homes in and around the neighborhood of Diwan Abu Sunaynah and detained and interrogated scores of citizens, without stating if they were released later.

The Israeli occupation soldiers also assaulted a number of young men near the Soufya venue in Umm Al-Daliya area in the southern area of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) and stormed the house of Taha family.

They reported that the occupying forces carried out large-scale raids, breaking into many houses, ransacking their contents, and causing extensive destruction.

They added that the occupation forces severely beat several young men and continued to forcibly displace more families from their houses, which they turned into sniper outposts.

UNRWA: Jineen refugee camp is heading in a catastrophic direction

UNRWA has warned that the situation in Jineen refugee camp, in the northern occupied West Bank, is taking a “catastrophic” turn due to the destruction of dozens of homes and buildings by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs).

Some 30,000 residents from Jineen refugee camp have fled their homes after large swaths of it were destroyed in a series of controlled detonations by the IOFs, according to UNRWA.

UNRWA communications director Juliette Touma told journalists in Geneva on Tuesday that “the camp is going into a catastrophic direction.”

“It is estimated that 100 houses were destroyed or heavily damaged,” Touma said.

“This detonation that happened on Sunday was when children were supposed to go back to school,” Touma added.

“The residents of this particular camp have endured the impossible,” Touma affirmed.

She noted that 13 UNRWA schools in the camp and its surrounding areas remain closed, depriving 5,000 children of education.

She said that the agency, which has been unable to provide services in the camp since earlier December, had received no prior warning of the explosions from the Israeli authorities.

A horde of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers continued on Wednesday to expand an illegal settlement outpost near Al-Jiftlik village in northern Aree'ha (Jericho) in the occupied West Bank.

A local official reported that a group of settlers brought vehicles and equipment to the outpost, which they established about four months ago in the village.

He added that the settlers also placed mobile homes, planted palm trees, plowed a swath of land, and annexed more dunums of land around the outpost.

Earlier, another group of settlers from the illegal settlement of Vered Yeriho near Jericho placed a fence on a mount overlooking the Aqabat Jaber camp and seized vast tracts of land in the area.'

They said that the occupying forces blew up the door of Hudthayfah Bin Al-Yaman Mosque as they continued to conduct house-to-house raids in the town.

They added that the occupation soldiers continued to forcibly displace more families from their houses, which they turned into military outposts.

The gun-toting soldiers also detained several residents of the town, held others, and interrogated them.

Oman affirms firm rejection of proposals to forcibly displace Palestinians

MUSCAT, February 5, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Sultanate of Oman Wednesday affirmed its firm rejection of all proposals to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

The Foreign Ministry of Oman affirmed in a press statement Oman’s unwavering position on and firm rejection of any attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian population of the Gaza Strip and the occupied territories while affirming the need to respect the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights to establish an independent State on their national territory.

It warned that any proposals for the forcible transfer of Palestinians from their territory are a blatant violation of international law as well as of United Nations resolutions and pose a threat to regional security and stability.

The Sultanate of Oman called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in terms of safeguarding the Palestinian people’s rights and underscored the necessity to find a just and comprehensive solution for the Question of Palestine based on the UN resolutions, international law, and the Arab Peace Initiative that would guarantee the establishment of an independent Palestinian State on the 4 June 1967 borders with Al-Quds (occupation Jerusalem), as its capital.

Brazil rejects proposals to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza

The Sultanate of Oman Wednesday affirmed its firm rejection of all proposals to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

Speaking in an interview with Brazilian radio stations, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said: ““No country, no matter how important, can fight the entire world all the time.”

“The US participated in encouraging everything Israel did in the Gaza Strip. So it doesn't make sense to meet with the president of Israel and say, 'We're going to occupy Gaza, we're going to recover Gaza, we're going to live in Gaza'. Where are the Palestinians going to go?”

“It's almost incomprehensible to any human being. People need to stop saying whatever comes into their heads. Everyone governs their own country, and let's leave other countries alone,” said Lula.

HRW: Displacing Palestinians would be moral abomination

Displacing Palestinians would be a moral abomination, Human Rights Watch Israel and Palestine director said on Wednesday in response to a proposal from President Donald Trump for the United States to take over Gaza.

“It would be a moral abomination,” Omar Shakir, from the international non-government organization that advocates for human rights, told Reuters.

“International humanitarian law forbids the forced displacement of the population of an occupied territory. When such forced displacement is widespread, it can amount to a war crime or a crime against humanity”, added Shakir.

Earlier Tuesday, the rights organization said that the United States will be complicit in the Israeli government’s grave violations in Gaza so long as it continues to provide it with arms and other military aid.

The UN human rights chief, Volker Turk, rebuked US President Donald Trump’s plan to “take over” Gaza and forcibly resettle its Palestinian population in other countries, stressing that any forcible transfer or deportation of Palestinians from occupied territory would violate international law.

“It is crucial that we move towards the next phase of the ceasefire, to release all hostages and arbitrarily detained prisoners, end the war and reconstruct Gaza, with full respect for international humanitarian law and international human rights law,” Turk said in a statement.

Turk underscored that “international law is very clear” and reaffirmed the right to self-determination as a fundamental principle that must be upheld by all states.

226 archaeological sites damaged in Gaza during Israel aggression: Ministry report

RAMALLAH, February 5, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Wednesday announced that 226 archaeological sites in the Gaza Strip have been damaged as a result of direct Israeli targeting.

The Ministry made this announcement in cooperation with the Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation as part of a report dubbed "Inventory of the Damages and Risks to Cultural Heritage Sites in Gaza”, which assessed the damages inflicted on them as a result of the recent Israeli aggression.

Co-prepared by 13 Palestinian experts in cooperation with an Oxford University team over a year period, the report examines 316 cultural heritage sites in Gaza, encompassing archaeological sites, heritage buildings, museums, religious buildings, historical cemeteries, cultural scenes, natural sites, and landmarks, as stated by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Hani Al-Hayek.

Speaking at the Ministry’s headquarters in Ramallah, the Minister pointed out that the report was based on a thorough field survey of all sites, analysis of satellite images, data collection, and the creation of individual site models.  This information was then analyzed to assess the extent of the damage.

The report finds that out of the 316 sites, 138 sites sustained major damage, 61 others were moderately damaged, 27 others suffered slight damage, and 90 others remained undamaged.

It estimates the budget required for the recovery of the cultural heritage sector at 261.15 million euros, to be implemented in three phases over eight years.

Phase 1 involves an urgent intervention to salvage and support endangered sites, and requires 31.2 million euros. Phase 2 involves the interventions necessary to restore and rehabilitate partially endangered sites, and requires 96.72 million euros. Phase 3 is concerned with the reconstruction of threatened sites, requiring 133.23 million euros.

Minister Al-Hayek said that the historical archaeological sites are an important part of the history and identity of the Palestinian people on Palestinian land, adding that the occupation, by targeting these sites, is deliberately erasing and destroying this important part and the basic pillar of the Palestinian national identity.

This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
