UN chief calls for sufficient humanitarian aid to enter Gaza

Sunday 30-November-2025

NEW YORK, (PIC)

UN secretary‑general Antonio Guterres has called for allowing sufficient humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, stressing that these supplies have become a necessity to save lives amid the catastrophic conditions faced by the population.

“Lifesaving humanitarian aid must be allowed to enter Gaza at scale, and the international community must continue to stand firmly with UNRWA — an irreplaceable lifeline for millions of Palestinians, including Palestine refugees,” Guterres said on Saturday.

His remarks came in a message marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, observed globally on November 29 each year.

“This year’s International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People comes after two years of horrific suffering in Gaza, and the start of a much-needed ceasefire,” Guterres said, addressing the world.

“Survivors [in the Gaza Strip] are mourning the deaths of tens of thousands of friends and family – nearly a third of them children – and thousands more have been injured. Hunger, disease and trauma run rampant, while schools, homes and hospitals lie in ruins.”

“Injustice also continues in the occupied West Bank, including El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), with Israeli military operations, settler violence, settlement expansion, evictions, demolitions and threats of annexation.”

“At the same time, hundreds of humanitarians have been killed. The majority were Palestinian UN staff, marking the largest loss of personnel in the Organization’s history. More journalists have perished than in any conflict since the Second World War.”

“In so many ways, this tragedy has tested the norms and laws that have guided the international community for generations. The killing of so many civilians, the repeated displacement of an entire population and the obstruction of humanitarian aid should never be acceptable under any circumstances.”

“On this International Day of Solidarity, let us draw inspiration from the Palestinian people themselves, whose resilience and hope are a testament to the human spirit. Let us stand in solidarity with their rights to dignity, justice and self-determination — and work together to build a peaceful future for all,” the UN chief concluded his message.

Gaza faces looming collapse of municipal services as fuel crisis persists

Sunday 30-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Gaza Strip’s municipalities have warned that their basic services may stop soon due to the rapidly worsening fuel crisis in the war-torn enclave.

This came in a statement released by the municipalities on Sunday and read by Khan Younus mayor 'Alaa El‑Batta during a news conference held in Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

The municipalities attributed the fuel crisis to the Israeli refusal to allow in sufficient diesel supplies needed to operate vital facilities and equipment in the Strip.

“Since the ceasefire started 50 days ago, Gaza had received fuel supplies sufficient for just five days of work to clear roads, remove rubble, and facilitate the movement of displaced people,” the municipalities said.

“The very limited quantities allowed in are under the control and management of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), which has become unable to respond to or provide even the minimum diesel needs of the municipalities to keep their services running,” the municipalities added.

The municipalities called on Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Algeria, Libya, and Bahrain, to intervene urgently and supply Gaza’s municipalities with fuel to ensure the continuation of their services and prevent the collapse of the municipal system amid the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the coastal enclave.

Testimony reveals rape, sexual torture of Palestinian journalist in the Israeli occupation apartheid regime prison of Sde Teiman

Sunday 30-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Journalists Protection Center (PJPC) said that a Palestinian journalist detained by the Israeli occupation forces had been subjected to rape and sexual torture inside a detention center, carried out using a trained dog, resulting in severe psychological trauma that left him mentally unstable for more than two months, in what the center described as one of the most serious documented crimes against journalists inside the Israeli occupation apartheid regime prisons.

In a statement on Sunday, the center explained that the crime took place inside the Sde Teiman detention facility, after the journalist was forcibly dragged along with seven other detainees to an isolated area within the camp, where they were subjected to collective sexual assaults. Israeli soldiers were present during the assaults, with some deliberately filming the abuse and mocking the victims, who were fully restrained, blindfolded, and denied any form of legal or humanitarian protection.

According to the journalist’s account, he requested to be identified as “Yahya” to protect his family, the assault lasted around three minutes, after which he suffered a severe psychological and neurological breakdown that left him unable to concentrate or function normally for more than two months. These symptoms, according to physicians and human rights experts who reviewed the testimony, are consistent with acute stress disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

“Yahya,” who spent 20 months in Israeli custody, including three months in Sde Teiman and one month in Ofer Prison, said this crime was not an isolated incident, but part of a systematic torture policy aimed at breaking the will of detainees and humiliating them physically and psychologically. He noted that the occupation used dogs as direct instruments of torture, in a blatant violation of international conventions prohibiting torture and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment.

He reported being subjected to harsh interrogations, during which he was bound, blindfolded, and transported in military vehicles to multiple detention sites, the most prominent being Sde Teiman, where he spent around 100 days under what he described as “inhumane” conditions. These included physical and psychological torture, sleep deprivation, starvation, religious insults, denial of medical care, and electric shocks.

The journalist confirmed that the sexual assault was one of the gravest crimes committed against him inside the detention facility, noting that the violations took place in isolated areas and in the presence of soldiers and officers, amid a total absence of oversight or accountability.

He further noted that the occupation authorities escalated their torture after learning of his profession as a journalist. He was assaulted after disclosing his work, accused of spreading “misleading information,” and threatened with life imprisonment because of his media activities.

In his testimony, he described the harsh detention conditions, including extreme overcrowding, lack of hygiene, the spread of disease, severe shortages of food and water, the prohibition of prayer, and degrading treatment, in addition to witnessing the deaths of detainees inside the facility, including academics and doctors, under mysterious circumstances. He said, “We spent the autumn and winter seasons wearing torn summer clothes, sleeping on the floor tiles.”

He added, “We entered these detention centers alive, and we left them with broken bodies and shattered souls, whoever didn’t die inside came out permanently broken.”

Israeli occupation forces had arrested “Ya'hya” during the raid on Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City on March 18, 2024, while he was performing his journalistic duties wearing his press vest and carrying his camera.

For its part, the PJPC confirmed that what the journalist endured constitutes rape and sexual torture under the 1984 Convention Against Torture, a war crime under Article (8) of the Rome Statute, and a crime against humanity if proven systematic and repeated under Article (7). It also constitutes a grave violation of Common Article (3) of the Geneva Conventions, and a direct attack on journalists, who are protected civilians under international humanitarian law.

The center added that the use of dogs in sexual assault constitutes one of the most dangerous forms of torture prohibited under international law, aimed at total humiliation and psychological destruction of victims.

The center called for the crime to be included in the prosecution files before the International Criminal Court, the opening of an urgent and independent international investigation, prosecution of all those responsible under the principle of universal jurisdiction, and ensuring the provision of immediate medical and psychological treatment for the victims, as well as protection and legal safety for witnesses.

The center concluded that these crimes do not expire with time, and that the testimonies of Palestinian journalists represent accumulating evidence of a systematic torture policy inside Israeli prisons, necessitating international criminal accountability.

Kidnapping, threats, and intimidation: Nurse Al-Hams tells the story of her abduction

Sunday 30-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Today, nurse Tasneem Marwan El-Hams has returned home free, to recount her painful experience, which has ended for her personally, but its shadow remains through the continued imprisonment of her father, Dr. Marwan El-Hams.

That morning didn’t seem different on the surface, yet Tasneem’s heart was heavy with an inexplicable feeling, as if danger was slowly closing in on her. She put on her white coat, carrying the scent of her exhaustion, her longing, and the tears of the mothers she had once treated, then left her home with quick steps amid the ongoing scenes of genocidal war.

But in a single fleeting moment, her world was flipped upside down, when the dedicated nurse suddenly became a kidnapping victim at the hands of mercenaries affiliated with the collaborator Yasir Abu Shabab, who works under the command of the occupation army. Harsh, loud voices tried to smother her heartbeat, as though she was being ripped from her world all at once. She couldn’t comprehend the details of what was happening, but she quickly realized she had become a captive.

A terrifying kidnapping and harsh detention

Tasneem reveals, in an exclusive interview with the Palestinian Information Center, that an armed group belonging to the gang of collaborator Yasir Abu Shabab carried out her abduction and handed her directly to the Israeli occupation forces, who placed her in a narrow cell without any clear charges.

The newly freed Al-Hams affirmed that what she went through was a “shocking experience” that left deep psychological scars on her and her family.

She recounted that the gang members ambushed her suddenly and dragged her away by force, amid screams and direct threats intended to terrorize her and paralyze any attempt to resist. She explained that the gang deliberately used intimidation tactics from the very first moment.

She revealed that she was subjected to a series of humiliations during the initial stage of detention, where she was forcibly pulled away and searched in a manner that was “degrading and inhumane,” before being handed over to the occupation forces, who arrested her immediately without following any legal procedures and without giving her any chance to defend herself or know why she was being detained.

She added that the occupation soldiers placed her in a dark, narrow solitary confinement cell, under extremely harsh psychological conditions. She remained there for long hours without any contact with the outside world, able only to hear screams and threats echoing through the neighboring corridors, a soundscape that deepened her terror.

Al-Hams noted that the shock of her arrest did not affect her alone; it extended to her family, who, as she said, were subjected to pressure and emotional blackmail, especially her father. Members of the gang and the detaining authority tried to subdue him and force him to take certain positions using the psychological pressure of fear for his daughter.

Tasneem explained that her detention was accompanied by interrogations filled with intimidation and baseless accusations, interspersed with conflicting promises of release. This pushed her into a continuous state of uncertainty and fear of what might come next.

She added that after a period of detention, a decision for her release was issued, yet it was not immediately implemented. She remained in custody for additional days without justification, in what she described as an attempt to prolong her suffering and her family’s suffering, keeping them in painful suspense.

She pointed out that those waiting hours were among the heaviest she endured, amid total isolation from any communication or explanation, and a constant fear of being interrogated again or subjected to even worse treatment.

At the end of her account, Tasneem El-Hams called on the relevant authorities to launch a thorough and serious investigation into her kidnapping and detention, and to hold all involved accountable. She stressed the need to protect civilians from all unlawful practices and to prevent these violations from recurring against any girl or family in the Gaza Strip.

Tortured female prisoners

Tasneem El-Hams’s story has reopened a wide window onto the harsh world experienced by Palestinian female prisoners inside Israeli occupation prisons. According to numerous testimonies from former detainees, Tasneem’s experience is an extension of daily life filled with fear, isolation, deprivation, and the violation of the simplest human rights of imprisoned Palestinian women.

What her case reveals is not just an individual ordeal, it reflects a prolonged reality deliberately hidden behind prison walls. Female detainees face continuous threats to their dignity, emotional blackmail, and neglect of their physical and psychological needs in an environment that shows no mercy for human vulnerability and recognizes no basic rights.

Thus, Tasneem’s story does not end with her personal survival; rather, it marks the beginning of a larger narrative exposing the reality of Palestinian female prisoners, urging the world to see the truth that is deliberately ignored, at a time when global voices rose for a handful of soldiers held by the resistance as it defended a people subjected to daily horrific crimes.

'Hamas calls for more global support for Palestinian people’s struggle against occupation

Saturday 29-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has called for more global rallying against the occupation and its criminal practices against the Palestinian people and their land.

This came in a statement released on the “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People,” which is marked on November 29 each year.

'Hamas also called for more global solidarity with the Palestinian people’s just cause and their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.

'Hamas applauded the worldwide active popular support for the Palestinian people, and expressed its appreciation for all the official and popular positions backing their national cause, calling for pooling the efforts to bolster the Palestinian struggle against the Israeli occupation.

'Hamas urged the Arab and Muslim masses and the world’s free people to make November 29 an annual occasion to reactivate the international popular action against the Israeli occupation and its violations in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem.

“This year’s International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People comes nearly 50 days after the start of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, during which the fascist occupation government has continued to commit daily violations through demolishing buildings, artillery shelling, assassinations, and preventing the entry of aid,” Hamas said.

“This far-right racist government also escalates its aggression, and settlement and Judaization schemes in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem with no regard for international law and resolutions, while there is no effective deterrence to curb its terrorism, arrogance, aggression, and criminal plots,” Hamas added.

“Our people’s just and legitimate cause is a national liberation struggle to end the world’s longest and most brutal settler‑colonial occupation, which has become a real threat to the security and stability of the region and the world as a result of its terrorism that has extended beyond our occupied land and its contempt for international law and UN resolutions,” the Movement underlined.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime bars European Commissioner for Equality from entering Gaza

Saturday 29-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

European Union Commissioner for Equality and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, said that the Israeli (occupation apartheid regime) had rejected her request to cross into the Gaza Strip.

Lahbib explained, during statements she made on Friday at the Rafah crossing, that she had planned to enter Gaza during her visit to Egypt, but Israel prevented her from doing so.

She pointed out that Palestinians are still being killed daily by the Israeli army, noting that 347 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire began on October 10, including 67 children.

On October 10, the first phase of the agreement came into effect, following two years of genocidal war waged by Israel, with US support, against Gaza since October 2023.

She added that she had planned to cross the border to see the situation in Gaza for herself, but Israel did not grant her the entry permit, which saddened her deeply. She noted that Gaza has turned into a graveyard for thousands of civilians, including aid workers.

Lahbib said that around 600 aid workers have been killed while trying to save lives in one of the most dangerous places on earth. She added that thousands of families in Gaza are living among rubble, without shelter or protection from the coming winter cold, warning that experts expect a catastrophic winter.

She reiterated the need to maintain the ceasefire and uphold international law as the only way to protect civilians.

She said that it is necessary to move from the first phase of the ceasefire agreement to the second.

Lahbib noted that part of the aid has begun reaching Palestinians in Gaza, but it is insufficient, stressing the need to open all crossings.

The Israeli genocide in Gaza has resulted in more than 69,000 martyrs and 170,000 wounded Palestinians, most of them children and women, as well as massive destruction. The UN has estimated the cost of reconstruction at around $70 billion.

UNICEF warns worsening malnutrition and winter conditions threaten Gaza’s children

Saturday 29-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) warned on Saturday that the continued spread of malnutrition, combined with the arrival of winter, poses a severe and life-threatening danger to children in the Gaza Strip.

UNICEF said in a statement that winter conditions are driving a surge in disease and sharply increasing the risk of death among Gaza’s most vulnerable children. The agency noted that nutritional screenings showed nearly 9,300 children under the age of five suffering from acute malnutrition during the month of October alone.

The organization urged all parties to open all crossings into Gaza and allow the unhindered passage of humanitarian aid through every possible supply route.

Since October,7, 2023, Israel, with US and European backing, has carried out a genocide in the Gaza Strip, involving mass killings, starvation, destruction, displacement and widespread detentions, in defiance of international appeals and multiple orders from the International Court of Justice to halt its actions.

The genocide has left more than 239,000 Palestinians martyred or wounded, most of them women and children, and more than 11,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, famine has claimed the lives of many, particularly children, and much of Gaza’s urban landscape has been reduced to ruins.

Since the ceasefire agreement of October 11, the toll has continued to rise, with 356 people killed, 908 injured, and 607 bodies recovered during this period, the sources added.

GAZA, (PIC)

Family sources confirmed the killing of 'Abdullah 'Hamad, the son of senior 'Hamas official and member of the negotiation delegation Ghazi 'Hamad, after being besieged along with a group of fighters for months in Rafa'h, southern Gaza Strip.

His brother, Mu'hammed Hamad, confirmed his killing, saying: “My beloved, the light of my heart, 'Abdullah, has become a martyr. He departed bravely, not fleeing, under siege and in combat in the tunnels of Rafa'h. He met The Almighty with contentment and faith.”

In recent days, Israeli forces have claimed the assassination of several fighters who were reportedly in Rafa'h’s tunnels and had lost contact with the outside world since the ceasefire on October 10.

Many sons of senior Hamas leaders have been killed while taking part in resistance operations against Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli genocidal war.

GAZA, (PIC)

'Hamas spokesman 'Hazem Qasim said that the Israeli occupation army continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip today, killing two children and launching intensive land, sea, and air attacks.

“The criminal occupation’s deliberate killing of two children this morning underscores yet again that the genocidal war against Gaza’s people is still ongoing, with gunfire persisting but changing in intensity,” spokesman Qasim added in a statement on Saturday.

The spokesman called on the mediators who brokered the Sharm El-Shaikh ceasefire agreement to take serious action to stop Israel’s violations and pressure it to respect its obligations.

Two brothers, both children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike east of Khan Younus on Saturday morning, as Israeli forces continued to carry out attacks and commit other ceasefire violations in the Gaza Strip.

PGMO: 591 ceasefire breaches by the Israeli occupation army since October 10

Sunday 30-November-2025

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation army had committed 591 documented violations of the ceasefire agreement between October 10 and November 29, 2025.

In a statement released on Sunday, the PGMO said that these Israeli violations included attacks that claimed the lives of 357 civilians, mostly children, women and elderly people, and injured 903 others.

The PGMO added that 38 citizens had been kidnaped by Israeli forces from Gaza during the reporting period.

Ben-Gvir orders promotion of the Israeli undercover unit commander, a day after two Palestinians were executed in  Jineen

TEL AVIV, November 30, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime's illegal settler and National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has decided to promote the commander of the undercover unit in the occupied West Bank to the rank of colonel, one day after members of the unit executed two unarmed young men in Jineen after they had just surrendered.

According to Haaretz, Ben-Gvir visited the unit’s base to personally inform its commander of his approval of the promotion, which had been recommended by the police commissioner and senior police leadership.

Haaretz said the decision is unusual, as commanders of similar undercover units across Israel’s police districts typically hold the rank of lieutenant colonel. Those who previously led this same unit also held that rank.

During his visit to the unit’s base, Ben-Gvir said, “This distorted procedure in which our fighters are taken for questioning immediately after shooting a ‘terrorist’ must end. We are fighting enemies and killers,” reiterating his support for the actions of the three officers.

He also wrote on his account on X that “the fighters acted exactly as expected of them; the ‘terrorists’ should die.”

In the village of Mas'ha, soldiers also detained a number of local Palestinian residents. Later in the day, forces closed the main entrance to El-Zawiya with earth mounds as part of increased military measures in the area.

These detentions come amid recurring military raids across towns and villages in the West Bank, where Palestinians frequently report nighttime incursions, home searches, and detention by the occupation forces.

These raids have intensified in recent months, with Israeli forces often storming communities to carry out detentions, conduct interrogations, or set up temporary checkpoints, contributing to ongoing tensions and disruptions to daily life in the region.

Pope Leo XIV: Two-state solution is the only path to ending the conflict

Sunday 30-November-2025

(PIC) --

The head of the Vatican, Pope Leo XIV, reaffirmed his unwavering support for the two-state solution, calling it the only viable path to ending the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Speaking on Sunday, the Pope stated that the Vatican has repeatedly and clearly expressed its support for this solution, emphasizing that “the two-state solution is the only realistic way to achieve peace.”

He added: “We understand that Israel currently rejects this solution, but we still believe it is the only path capable of ending the ongoing conflict and alleviating the suffering of the people.”

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, backed by the US and Europe, has committed acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip, including killings, starvation, destruction, displacement, and mass arrests, ignoring international pleas and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

The genocide has resulted in over 239,000 Palestinians killed or injure, most of them women and children, along with more than 11,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that has claimed countless lives, mostly children. Much of Gaza has been reduced to rubble, with widespread destruction and the erasure of entire cities.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
