By December 10, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 54,786+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (44,786), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By December 10, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 106,188.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Lebanese Army ready to deploy in border towns amid violations

The Lebanese Army is initiating its deployment in border towns, including Al-Khiyam, to secure the area, clear unexploded ordnance, and confirm the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, amid ongoing ceasefire violations.

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that the Lebanese Army is set to begin deploying in its forward positions in the towns of Al-Khiyam, 'Ain 'Arab, and 'Hammams.

Our correspondent noted that the Lebanese Army is preparing to enter neighborhoods in Al-Khiyam as part of the first phase of its deployment in the border area. Its bulldozers are ready to enter the northern part of the town, while the Army's engineering teams prepare to move and deploy in surrounding areas.

These teams will enter northern Al-Khiyam with bulldozers to clear roads, inspect remnants of missiles, shells, and unexploded ordnance, and ensure the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces before the rest of the tasked Army units are deployed.

It is worth noting that "Israel" continues to violate the ceasefire agreement by bombing border villages along the Palestinian-Lebanese border.

'Israel' violates ceasefire again, kills one, injures 4 in South Lebanon

Two Israeli missiles targeted a vehicle near a Lebanese Army checkpoint in Bint Jubail, South Lebanon, killing one person and injuring four soldiers. 

A statement issued by the Lebanese Army confirmed that one civilian was killed, while four soldiers sustained injuries as a result of the Israeli aggression. 

In this context, Lebanese Minister of Labor Mustafa Bayram told Al-Mayadeen that "Israel" is not adhering to the ceasefire, and that the matter is currently in the hands of the Lebanese government and the Quintet Committee.

On Saturday, Israeli airstrikes killed six people in southern Lebanon, marking a significant escalation just 10 days after a ceasefire between Hezbollah and "Israel" took effect.

The truce, implemented on November 27, aimed to end a devastating war that has claimed thousands of lives and displaced masses on both sides.

The Israeli occupation forces committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 28 Palestinians and the injury of 54 others, according to medical reports.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023 has risen to 44,786 reported fatalities, with an additional 106,188 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

According to the same sources, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 431

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 431st consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli occupation army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 67, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

According to local sources, a civilian was killed when an Israeli drone targeted him near Al-Quds University in Bait Lahya, north of Gaza.

Another Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the family of Al-Ka'hlout in 'Izbat 'Abd Rabbo in northern Gaza claimed the lives of 25 people and injured others

In central Gaza, a fisherman was martyred when Israeli naval forces opened fire at him in the west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli naval forces also kidnaped six fishermen off the shore of Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza.

Seven people were martyred and others were injured when an Israeli warplane bombed a house belonging to the family of Khaleefa in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp.

Several wounded people, mostly children, were evacuated at dawn to the Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital following an Israeli airstrike on a house in Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

Meanwhile, a six-year-old girl child was injured when the Israeli army targeted a tent sheltering a displaced family in southern Gaza.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

In a related context, the health ministry in Gaza said on Tuesday that the Israeli army committed four massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, and killed and injured at least 82 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

Israeli naval forces arrest six fishermen off Gaza coast

The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Tuesday six fishermen off the coast of Dair El-Bala'h in Central Gaza, after Israeli naval boats encircled the fishermen’s boats, in the second arrest operation against Gaza fishermen since the start of the genocidal war in Gaza on October 7, 2023.

Local sources said that Israeli naval boats opened fire on the fishermen’s fishing nets, surrounded them, forced them to leave their nets, before detaining them on board the Israeli naval boat.

At least 30 fishermen from the Gaza Strip were killed, and a number of others were injured, including a fisherman from the Al-Najjar family, whose hand was amputated as a result of the injury, according to the head of the fishermen’s committees in the Gaza Strip, Zakariya Bakr.

Israeli airstrike kills seven Palestinians, injures others in Gaza

GAZA, December 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

An Israeli airstrike Tuesday evening killed seven Palestinians and injured others in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli fighter jets targeted a house belonging to the Khalifa family in the refugee camp, claiming the lives of seven people and injuring others.

They added that Israeli fighter jets bombed a six-storey building belonging to the Kasba family in Gaza city neighborhood of Al-Shaikh Radhwan.

The first-aid and rescue teams rushed to the scene to search for bodies and casualties under the rubble.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least of 44,786 Palestinians and injuring 106,188 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Six civilians killed in Israeli shelling of Gaza's Rafah city

GAZA, December 10, 2024 (WAFA) -

Six civilians were killed and others were injured on Tuesday in the Israeli bombardment of various areas of the southern Gaza Strip's Rafa'h Governorate.

According to local sources, an occupation drone targeted a group of civilians north of the city of Rafa'h, resulting in the killing of three citizens and the injury of several others.

An Israeli drone shelled the Al-Shakoush area northwest of Rafa'h, which led to the killing of two citizens. One citizen was killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted the Khirbat Al-'Adas area in the north, in conjunction with the continuous artillery bombardment of several areas in Rafa'h, and the Zanna area east of Khan Younus.

The occupation aircraft targeted the vicinity of the Al-Nour Mosque in “Block 9” in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip, resulting in the injury of several civilians.

According to medical sources, eight civilians have been killed since dawn today in the ongoing Israeli bombardment of the city of Rafa'h.

The Israeli occupation’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 44,786 civilians, mostly women and children, and the injury of 106,188 others.

Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.

Casualty data in Gaza are incomplete due to the ongoing intensive Israeli aggression, the repeated and complete interruption of communication and internet services, lack of fuel and devastated infrastructure, which render it difficult to document figures.

More than 25 civilians, including children and women, were killed and dozens were injured, most of them seriously, in a massacre committed by the occupation last night in Bait 'Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that 25 citizens were killed and dozens were injured when the occupation aircraft bombed a house belonging to Al-Ka'hlout family over the heads of its residents in 'Izbet Bait 'Hanoun.

The occupation's massacres against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip have not stopped since October 7, 2023, as it deliberately targeted residential buildings over the heads of their residents in all areas.

The Israeli occupation forces have been waging deadly aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of 44,758 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were women and children, and the injury of 106,134 others.

Seven Palestinian civilians killed by the Israeli genocidal bombing in Gaza

Ambulance and rescue crews recovered seven slain Palestinians and a number of wounded people at dawn on Tuesday after a missile attack carried out by the Israeli occupation that targeted the Khalifa family's house in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

They were all transferred to Al-'Awda Hospital in the camp.

Last night, the Israeli occupation committed a new massacre in the Gaza Strip after the warplanes launched a series of raids on civilian homes in the Bait 'Hanoun estate in the northern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing of at least 20 citizens and the injury of others.

It is worth noting that the area is under siege as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach it.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Two young men injured in Israeli raid and arrest campaign in the West Bank

Two citizens were injured on Tuesday, after Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) assaulted them during their storming of the town of 'Azzoun in Qalqilya, as part of a raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank.

Local sources reported that the IOFs stormed the town of 'Azzoun, east of Qalqilya, escorted by a large number of military vehicles from the western entrance, while foot patrols stormed the town from its northern and eastern entrances, and besieged it from all sides.

The sources explained that two young men were moderately injured after being assaulted during the storming of the town, adding that the IOF raided more than 25 homes, and carried out searches, vandalism, and destruction of their contents, before arresting a number of citizens.

The sources further elaborated that the assaulted men were identified as Ayman Abu Haniya and Mu'hammad Hawwari, after raiding and searching their homes, and tampering with their contents.

The same sources indicated that the IOFs detained a number of the town’s residents, subjected them to field investigation in the home of the citizen Mu'hammed Suleiman, which was turned into a military barracks, before releasing them later.

The IOF also stormed the town of Kafr Qaddoum, east of Qalqilya, and launched a campaign of raids without any arrests being reported.

Local sources reported that IOFs also raided the town of Baitounia, west of Ramallah, in central West Bank, noting that footage posted on social media shows Israeli vehicles roaming the streets of the town.

The IOF confiscated a Palestinian vehicle after storming the town of Yatta to the south of al-Khalil in the southern West Bank.

Meanwhile, the IOFs stormed the Al-'Abyat area, east of Bethlehem, stormed the house of citizen A'hmed Al-'Abyat, searched its contents, and withdrew without reporting any arrests, according to local sources.

In Nablus, the IOFs stormed the town of Kafr Qaleel, to the east, and arrested the young man Jasir Abu Hamada from his home.

The IOFs also stormed the towns of Baita and Madama, south of Nablus, and blocked traffic in the latter.

Local sources reported that the IOFs closed, with earth mounds, three entrances connecting Madama village to the villages of 'Aseera Al-Qibliya and Burin, and the military checkpoint of Al-Murabba’a.

The sources noted that the IOFs has been isolating the village since yesterday evening, after closing its entrances, declaring a curfew in the village, storming a number of its neighborhoods, and firing live bullets and stun and tear gas grenades at the citizens’ homes, which led to complete paralysis in all aspects of life.

Two Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire near Nablus

NABLUS, December 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

Two Palestinian citizens were injured on Tuesday by live bullets during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Silat Al-Dthahr, south of Jineen.

WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed the town and opened fire at the citizens.

As a result, confrontations erupted in the area.

The Red Crescent Society said that its crews dealt with two injuries from live bullets in the lower limbs in Silat Al-Dthahr.

Israeli occupation forces storm West Bank village, brutalize local residents

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed on Monday night Al-Mughayyir village in the northeast of Ramallah and embarked on attacking local residents.

Chief of the village council Ameen Abu 'Aliya said that Israeli forces stormed the village and raided several homes and assaulted a number of citizens.

Abu 'Aliya also said that the IOFs severely beat four citizens during its raid and put them in front of military vehicles as human shields, pointing out those citizens suffered injuries.

He added that Israeli occupation soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at homes and local residents.

Over 40 Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli forces in West Bank, including formers prisoners

GAZA, December, 10, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Israeli occupation forces have kidnapped at least 40 Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank since yesterday evening, continuing their ongoing crackdown on the local population.

According to the Palestinian Authority's Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society, The detentions were concentrated in the governorates of Jericho and Hebron, while the others were distributed among the governorates of Qalqilya, Jenin, Tubas, and Bethlehem.

The raids were accompanied by assaults, threats against detainees and their families, and widespread destruction of property, including damage to homes.

This latest wave of detentions is part of Israel's broader campaign of suppression that has escalated sharply since the beginning of its ongoing genocidal onslaught on Gaza in October 2023. Since then, over 11,900 Palestinians have been kidnapped from the West Bank and Jerusalem, according to local authorities.

The systematic nature of these detentions is a key component of Israeli policy, with large-scale detentions being carried out as part of the ongoing military attacks.  

It is important to note that the figures provided here refer only to detentions made in the West Bank, not including Gaza, where the number of detentions is also significant.

Illegal Israeli Jewish settler runs over a Palestinian child in Nablus

A Palestinian school student was injured after an illegal Israeli Jewish settler ran him over near Al-Sawiya-Al-Lubban Secondary School, south of Nablus.

Local sources reported that the student Ibrahim Muhammad Ibrahim Samara was run over by a settler car on the road liking between Ramallah and Nablus.

The incident occurred when the boy was leaving al-Lubban-al-Sawiya Secondary School, the sources added.

The boy was moved to the hospital, suffering from fractures in the leg and bruises all over his body.

On the other hand, two citizens were injured after the Israeli forces stormed Silat Al-Dthahr town, south of Jenin, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

The Red Crescent Society reported that two citizens suffered from live bullet injuries to the lower limbs during the clashes.

Illegal Israeli Jewish settlers seize Jerusalemite house in Silwan

A group of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers laid their hands on a Palestinian house in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan, south of the Aqsa Mosque.

Local official Zuhair Al-Rajabi told the Wadi Al-'Hilwa Information Center on Tuesday that settlers infiltrated into the house of Al-Ghaith family in Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood in Silwan and seized it.

Last September, Wadi Al-'Hilwa Information Center said that the Israeli higher court dismissed the appeal filed by Al-Ghaith family, adopting the decision to evict them in favor of Jewish settlers, claiming that Yemenite Jews owned the land of the house in the past.

Since 2015, members of the family have been fighting a legal battle to protect their two-story house. The family has been living in the house since 1979.

Ateret Cohanim is a government-backed Jewish group and educational institute located in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). It actively works on Judaizing the holy city and expelling its indigenous people, the Jerusalemites, from their homes.

In 2004, Ateret Cohanim embarked on extracting Israeli court decisions that enabled it to seize Palestinian homes and property and displace local families in Silwan and other neighborhoods of the holy city.

IOFs carry out a large-scale demolition campaign south of Nablus

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched on Tuesday a large-scale demolition campaign in Al-Taweel village in the town of 'Aqraba, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

As a result, 50 families in the town of Kafr Qaleel and the upper suburb are facing the threat of forced displacement.

Citizens reported that the IOFs accompanied by five bulldozers stormed the village and began demolishing homes, agricultural rooms, tin sheds, and an electricity network supplying the area, without prior notice.

Local sources explained that the Al-Taweel village is systematically exposed to the Israeli attacks at the hands of the illegal settlers and the IOFs, noting that a number of citizens have been martyred in defense of their lands.

The latest victims of settlers’ attacks were the two young men, 'Abdul Ra'hman Bani Fadhil, 30, and Mu'hammed Bani Jami', 21, who succumbed to their injuries sustained in a settlers’ attack in al-Tawil village on April 15.

In the same context, 'Hamdi Abu Al-'Hayat, a member of the Committee for the Defense of Threatened Homes in Al-Dha'hiya and Kafr Qaleel neighborhoods, said that the IOFs on Monday handed over demolition notices to the owners of 10 homes, affecting 50 families.

SANAD Agency quoted Abu al-Hayat as saying that the demolition notices came under the pretext that the affected homes are located within areas classified as (Area C) according to the Oslo Accords, which is about 60% of the West Bank’s area in which unlicensed construction is prohibited.

The demolition notices came just few days after the extremist Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, announced the confiscation of about 24,000 dunums (6,000 acres) of the West Bank for settlement expansion.

Israel razes 'Araqeeb village in Negev for 233rd time

The Israeli authorities demolished on Tuesday morning all the tents and structures in the Palestinian Bedouin village of Al-'Araqeeb in the Negev desert for the 233rd consecutive time, displacing its Bedouin residents.

According to local sources, Israeli police forces and employees from the Bedouin development authority — which is responsible for such demolitions — stormed the village and wreaked havoc on everything.

The Israeli police also kidnapped Al-Shaikh Sayya'h Al-Thawri, chief of the village, and his son 'Azeez.

Consequently, dozens of Bedouin citizens, including children, have become homeless once again and will suffer from the harsh weather conditions of the desert for a while before they could have new makeshift homes again.

Al-'Araqeeb residents live in a constant state of fear because they expect the demolition of their village at any moment after they manage to rebuild their homes. About 80 people live in crude homes in Al-'Araqeeb.

An estimated 80,000 Bedouin Palestinians, who carry Israeli citizenship, live in several Negev communities, which are often denied vital services, including water, electricity and educational facilities.

The demolition of Al-'Araqeeb and other villages in the Negev is believed to be a systematic Israeli policy aimed at expelling the native population from the Negev and transferring them to government-zoned areas to pave the way to expand and build settlements for Jewish communities.

Hamas: The post-war day in Gaza will be Palestinian par excellence

Member of Hamas’s political bureau Basim Na'eem has said that “the next day following the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip will be a Palestinian day par excellence,” reiterating his Movement’s firm position in this regard.

In a statement on Monday, Na'eem affirmed that Hamas would never forsake the Palestinians in Gaza and would shoulder its responsibility towards them until their suffering comes to an end.

Na'eem pointed out that the Egyptian leadership is keen on forming a Palestinian leadership body to manage the affairs of the Gaza Strip after the war ends, adding that the Palestinian factions always welcomed the formation of this national body.

“We were hoping and striving to reach an agreement, under Egyptian sponsorship, with the Fatah Movement and other factions,” Na'eem said, stressing the importance of having a Palestinian national consensus in order to stop the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

Na'eem said that Fatah’s rejection of this agreement was shocking to all the Palestinian factions, expressing his belief that those who rejected the formation of a national body in Gaza seeks to impose the government of Mohamed Mustafa and obstruct the efforts to help the Palestinian people obtain their freedom and stop the aggression against them.

“The Israeli schemes in the occupied West Bank require from everyone to rise above partisan considerations and prioritize the national interest,” the Hamas official emphasized.

On Sunday, senior Fat'h official 'Abdullah 'Abdullah announced his Movement’s rejection of the Egyptian proposal on the formation of a community committee to support the Gaza Strip, although the Fatah delegation to Cairo had welcomed the proposal at first.

The proposal was put forward by the Egyptian mediator during the intensive meetings that were held recently between Hamas and Fatah officials in Cairo.

UNRWA: Gaza’s war has shaken many people’s faith in human rights

The scale of suffering witnessed in Gaza over this past year has shaken many people’s faith in human rights, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Tuesday.

“The rights being denied to people in Gaza are the same rights intended to protect all of us. We all have a stake in Gaza,” the UN agency added in a post on X platform.

“We all have a stake in safeguarding and advancing human rights. We all have a stake in building a future where respect for human rights, dignity, and accountability are not postponed but delivered.” “ Universal human rights are the best guarantee there is of a world where all individuals can live in dignity, security, equality, and freedom.”

UNRWA also renewed its call for a ceasefire “now” in the Gaza Strip.

'Hamas: Israeli leaders persist in committing “brutal war crimes” in Gaza

The 'Hamas Movement has said that the latest Israeli massacres in 'Izbet 'Abd Rabbo area and Bait 'Hanoun in northern Gaza reflect insistence on continuing the “brutal war crimes” against the Palestinians in Gaza, calling for international action to hold Israeli leaders accountable.

In a statement on Tuesday, 'Hamas affirmed that the leaders of the fascist Israeli occupation regime persist in committing war crimes against defenseless civilians in Gaza.

“The terrorist occupation army has carried out horrifying massacres in the northern Gaza Strip against innocent civilians in the past few days and hours, which cannot be counted or fully covered by the media because the entire area is isolated, besieged and without communication services,” 'Hamas said.

The Movement also criticized the world’s passivity towards Israel’s ethnic cleansing crimes in northern Gaza, stressing the need for international action to curb the occupation and its crimes.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), said the scale of suffering witnessed in Gaza over this past year has shaken many people’s faith in human rights.

“The rights being denied to people in Gaza are the same rights intended to protect all of us. We all have a stake in Gaza,” said UNRWA in a statement marking Human Rights Day; observed annually worldwide on December 10.

“Universal human rights are the best guarantee there is of a world where all individuals can live in dignity, security, equality, and freedom.”

“We all have a stake in safeguarding and advancing human rights. We all have a stake in building a future where respect for human rights, dignity, and accountability are not postponed but delivered,” said the UN relief agency.

An earlier post on X said the rights to security, dignity, freedom from violence and displacement, and access to adequate food, water, sanitation, clothing, and housing are not privileges; they are rights denied to Palestinians in Gaza.

UNRWA reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire.
