By December 26, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 55,399+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (45,399), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By December 26, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 107,940.

By December 26, 2024, 840 Palestinians who were killed, 6,608 who were injured, and 10,680*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Death toll across Gaza Strip surges to 45,399, over 107,940 injured

GAZA, December, 26, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 38 Palestinians and the injury of 137 others, according to medical reports.

The Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023 has risen to 45,399 reported fatalities, with an additional 107,940 individuals sustaining injuries, the majority of the victims are women and children, medical sources said.

According to the same sources, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip enters Day 447

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 447th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Thursday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 83, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

Local sources said that a woman was killed when an Israeli dropped a bomb on her as she was walking into the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza.

The Israeli army also bombed a group of citizens in Jabalya Al-Balad area in northern Gaza, injuring a number of them.

Two citizens were martyred and others were injured when an Israeli warplane bombed a house in Jabalya Al-Balad area.

In central Gaza, an Israeli genocidal airstrike targeted a TV van outside Al-'Awda Hospital in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, killing five journalists working for al-Quds satellite channel.

Two martyrs also arrived at the Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus following an Israeli genocidal attack on Al-Musabbi'h area in Rafa'h, south of Gaza.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

In a related context, the health ministry in Gaza said on Thursday that the Israeli army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, and killed and injured at least 175 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

Three Palestinian babies freeze to death in Gaza

In the past 48 hours, three Palestinian infants reportedly died from low temperatures and a lack of access to warm shelter in the war-battered Gaza Strip.

As temperatures plummet and Israel’s blockade on food, water, medicine and essential winter supplies continues, Palestinian doctors said that three Palestinian babies, aged between four and 21 days, died of hypothermia in a displacement camp in Al-Mawasi area of southern Gaza.

Al-Mawasi, a coastal area in the west of Rafa'h which has been previously designated by the Israeli occupation army as a “safe zone,” has repeatedly come under Israeli attacks. Thousands of displaced Palestinians have moved there in search of refuge, living for months in makeshift tents made of cloth and nylon.

Hundreds of thousands are packed in tent camps along coastal areas in western Gaza as the cold and wet winter sets in.

Meanwhile, health officials in Gaza have warned that food insecurity among the Palestinian mothers in Gaza has also led to new cases of illness among children, while pregnant women, in particular, are going hungry amid severe food shortages.

Five Palestinian journalists killed in Israeli genocidal airstrike in Gaza

Five Palestinian journalists were martyred at dawn Thursday in an Israeli genocidal airstrike in central Gaza.

According to local and media sources, the Israeli occupation army bombed a broadcast TV vehicle outside Al-'Awda Hospital in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing all the journalists inside it.

The martyrs were working for Al-Quds satellite channel. They are Faisal Abul-Qumsan, Ayman Al-Jadi, Ibraheem Al-Shaikh, Fadi 'Hassouna, and Mu'hammed Al-Lad’ah.

The channel mourned them, saying they were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a broadcast van as “they were doing their journalistic and humanitarian duty and delivering a noble message.”

The channel condemned the new Israeli crime against Palestinian journalists, describing it as “part of the genocidal war on the Palestinians in Gaza.”

Two paramedics killed, multiple casualties in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

GAZA, December 26, 2024 (WAFA) –

Two paramedics were killed today in Israeli airstrikes targeting the vicinity of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in Bait Lahya, northern Gaza, according to local sources.

The sources reported that the airstrike hit medics Abdul Majeed Abul 'Aish and Mahir Al-'Ajrami while they were responding to emergency calls, resulting in their immediate killing.

In a separate attack, another civilian was killed after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb near the entrance to Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, local and medical sources reported.

In the eastern Gaza City neighborhood of Al-Zaytoun, rescue teams recovered the bodies of four individuals trapped under the rubble of a house that was struck by an Israeli airstrike late last night. The strike left the area in ruins, contributing to the growing death toll in the region.

Meanwhile, in the eastern Gaza City neighborhood of Al-Tuffa'h, several civilians were killed or injured when Israeli fighter jets targeted a home belonging to the Hamada family on Yafa Street.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 45,399 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 107,940 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Ten civilians killed and others injured in Israeli airstrike on various areas in Gaza

GAZA, December, 26, 2024 (WAFA) – 

A total of ten civilians were killed and others were injured on Thursday in the Israeli occupation's bombing of the Sabra area south of Gaza City and Jabalya Al-Balad north of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that the occupation bombed a residential building belonging to the Dahshan family in the vicinity of Al-Nour Stadium in the Sabra area south of Gaza, which led to the killing of eight citizens, including children, and the injury of others.

In the Jabalya Al-Balad area north of the Gaza Strip, the occupation bombed a house belonging to the Radhwan family on the old Gaza Street, killing two people.

The occupation artillery renewed its bombing of areas east of Al-Musaddar village southeast of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources indicated that 10% of the population of the Gaza Strip were killed, wounded or missing.

Israeli occupation army kills 3% of Christians in Gaza and destroys 3 churches

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation army has killed 20 Palestinian Christians in the Gaza Strip, representing 3% of their number in the enclave, during the ongoing genocide that has lasted for more than 14 months.

Isma'eel Thawabta, PGMO Director General, added in a statement on Wednesday evening, “The numbers and facts show the extent of the suffering faced by this essential component of the Palestinian social fabric. The Israeli occupation forces have killed more than 20 Christians during this act of genocide, all of whom were civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.”

He noted that this means the Israeli occupation has targeted and killed more than 3% of Christians in the Gaza Strip, whose numbers have decreased to about 650 due to the occupation’s policies.

He emphasized that the targeting of the small Christian community in Gaza by the Israeli occupation is part of a systematic policy aimed at erasing the diverse human and historical presence in the Strip, where the occupation does not respect religious sanctities in its direct attacks and systematic bombardments.

Thawabta pointed out that the occupation army has destroyed and targeted three main churches in the Gaza Strip, in a blatant violation of all norms and international agreements that ensure the protection of places of worship.

Moreover, Christian civilians have not been spared from the occupation’s crimes, as residential areas populated by Christians around the churches have been directly targeted, resulting in casualties and injuries to dozens.

Christian schools and institutions have also suffered severe losses, with large parts of the Christian community’s properties destroyed, including safe homes that were supposed to be refuges for families fleeing the Israeli bombardment.

Christians, like other residents of Gaza, are deprived of access to humanitarian aid and basic materials amid a suffocating siege and a systematic starvation policy.

PGMO director stressed that the continued targeting of Christians in Gaza is not just numbers and statistics; it is an assault on a shared history, culture, and identity that extends over decades. The Palestinian Christian community is an integral part of the Palestinian people, and targeting it is an attack on the entire Palestinian existence.

He called on the international community and humanitarian and rights organizations to urgently intervene to stop these crimes, which amount to war crimes and ethnic cleansing.

He said, “Gaza, with its Muslims and Christians, will remain resistant to the attempts of genocide and uprooting carried out by the Israeli occupation, and its churches and mosques will stand as witnesses to the resilience of its proud people.”

Thawabta concluded by saying, “The bells will ring alongside the calls to prayer, and Gaza will remain a fortress of steadfastness and challenge in the face of the Israeli occupation.”

Director of Baptist Hospital in Gaza: Significant surge in the number of injured, most of them critical

GAZA, December, 26, 2024 (WAFA) –

Director of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, Fadhl Al-Na'eem, said that the hospital is witnessing a significant surge in the number of wounded and injured due to the escalation in Gaza City and the northern governorate, especially in southern and northern Jabalya.

Al-Na'eem said in a statement to Voice of Palestine Radio that most of the cases arriving at the hospital suffer from serious injuries, which increases the challenges in light of the severe shortage of basic medical supplies such as gauze, surgical sutures and some necessary medications.

He pointed out that blood donation, despite the ongoing appeals, faces difficulties due to the spread of anemia and malnutrition among citizens, explaining that dealing with serious injuries requires interventions from multiple medical specialties, with the increasing number of emergency cases.

Al-Na'eem confirmed that the hospital is working in coordination with other hospitals, but the available capabilities in the northern Gaza Strip are not sufficient to accommodate the increasing numbers of injured, stressing the need to open the crossings urgently to transfer critical cases outside the Gaza Strip to receive appropriate treatment.

Abu Safiya: We are still besieged in Kamal 'Udwan Hospital

Director of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, said that last night was one of the most difficult nights in Kamal 'Udwan Hospital and the surrounding area.

Abu Safiya confirmed in a press statement on Wednesday that the Israeli soldiers detonated about ten robots near the hospital, which resulted in the destruction of all doors, internal barriers and windows, and some walls.

He stated that F-16 planes began bombing houses adjacent to Kamal 'Udwan Hospital at around 1:30 a.m., sparking a state of panic among the patients and displaced people.

“Until now, we are besieged inside the hospital and cannot leave to the yards or move to the neighboring buildings. The situation is very dangerous.”

He called on the international community to urgently intervene to protect the health system, health care workers and patients, noting that the shelling continued throughout the night.

“The situation is still terrifying. Unfortunately, the situation has become unbearable. Despite our appeals to the world for help, no help has been received so far.”

Israeli spy devices found in Gaza hospital

The Palestinian resistance security services seized on Wednesday Israeli spy devices in a hospital in Gaza City.

A security official said that the Israeli occupation forces are working to target medical facilities and the Palestinian health sector, similar to what happened in Al-Shifa Hospital and other health facilities in northern Gaza.

A security official revealed that he received information from a citizen stating that there was an abnormal “building stone” in one of the hospitals in Gaza, which the Israeli forces earlier stormed.

After examining the room, it was found that the “building stone” had been specially reshaped to hide a spy device connected to other devices within the hospital’s perimeter, equipped with hidden cameras.

The resistance security official appreciated the prominent role played by the citizen in uncovering the spy network.

The security platform Al-'Haris (The Guard) earlier warned Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip about spy devices dropped in various neighborhoods by the Israeli military.

Khan Younus municipality warns of cracking walls of rainwater collection basin

The municipality of Khan Younus warned all citizens and the displaced in the Al-Amal District Park, which is a rainwater collection basin, as well as the residents in the nearby places in the region of the presence of serious cracks in the basin’s walls.

The municipality explained in a statement on Wednesday that these cracks portend a serious catastrophe due to the imminent collapse of the basin’s wall due to the fact that some citizens carried out irresponsible actions, as the interlock tiles adjacent to the wall were stolen and dismantled.

It called on all citizens and displaced people to immediately stop dismantling and stealing interlock tiles.

The municipality also stressed the need to “prevent the dangerous catastrophe that might occur in light of the Israeli unprecedented aggression that targets all forms of life in the Gaza Strip.”

Palestinian resistance fighter A'hmed 'Amarna killed by the Israeli occupation soldiers, in Toulkarm

Palestinian resistance fighter A'hmed 'Amarna was killed by Israeli gunfire after Israeli soldiers besieged him for hours in a house in the Qaffeen town, north of Toulkarm.

Local sources affirmed the killing of the resistance fighter A'hmed 'Amarna after Israeli forces stormed the town and shelled a house he was in. The Israeli soldiers also confiscated his body.

The Israeli forces stormed Qaffeen town this evening and were deployed in large numbers in the Jabal Al-Amarna area and the northern neighborhood, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

Meanwhile, an elderly Palestinian man was injured by Israeli gunfire as Israeli forces continue their military operation in Toulkarm for two days.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that a 69-year-old man was injured in the face and he was transferred to the hospital for treatment.

A large fire also broke out in a house in Toulkarm refugee camp, coinciding with the Israeli ongoing aggression on the camp.

Israeli occupation forces attack young man during raid on Madama village near Nablus

NABLUS, December 26, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces carried out a raid today on Madama village, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, attacking a young man and imposing restrictions on the local population.

According to Wajeeh Qat, the Deputy Head of the Madama Village Council, Israeli occupation forces stormed the village while firing live bullets into the air.

During the raid, soldiers physically assaulted a young man and forced shop owners to close their businesses. Additionally, the military shut down all entrances to the village, further restricting the movement of residents.

IOFs kidnap several Palestinians in West Bank raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped last night and Thursday morning a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOFs stormed 'Hal'houl town, north of Al-Khaleel, and kidnapped 12 citizens from their homes.

The IOFs also confiscated two cars during its raid in 'Hal'houl.

A young citizen was taken prisoner during an IOFs raid in Soureef town, northwest of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

The IOFs also kidnapped three young men from 'Arura village, northwest of Ramallah, and two brothers from 'Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho.

In Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of 'Habla and 'Azzoun and the villages of 'Izbat Salman and Baqat Al-'Hatab and carried out violent raids on homes, with no reported kidnappings.

Over 15 Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli forces in West Bank, including journalist

RAMALLAH, December, 26, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Israeli occupation forces have kidnapped at least 15 Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank since yesterday evening, continuing their ongoing crackdown on the local population.

According to the Palestinian Authority's Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society, the kidnappings were distributed across the governorates of Aree'ha (Jericho), Qalqilya, Ramallah, Toubas, Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

The raids were accompanied by assaults, threats against the kidnapped and their families, and widespread destruction of property, including damage to homes.

This latest wave of detentions is part of Israel's broader campaign of suppression that has escalated sharply since the beginning of its ongoing genocidal onslaught on Gaza in October 2023. Since then, over 12,100 Palestinians have been kidnapped from the West Bank and Jerusalem, according to local authorities.

The systematic nature of these kidnappings is a key component of Israeli policy, with large-scale kidnappings being carried out as part of the ongoing military attacks.  

It is important to note that the figures provided here refer only to kidnappings made in the West Bank, not including Gaza, where the number of kidnappings is also significant.

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

The illegal Israeli settler and far-right Israeli security minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, and dozens of the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) under tight police guard on Thursday morning.

According to local sources, Ben Gvir escorted by police officers and groups of settlers entered the Mosque through its Al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards on the first day of the Hanukkah holiday.

Ben Gvir and a number of settlers provocatively performed Talmudic prayers during their presence in the Islamic holy site.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police prevented Muslim worshipers from entering their holy site during Ben Gvir’s tour and imposed movement restrictions on Palestinian citizens in and around the holy city.

Note: Despite the Biden administration total support for the Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime parliament (Knesset) submits draft prohibiting Palestinian university graduates from teaching in schools

TEL AVIV, December, 26, 2024 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime parliament (Knesset) approved, in its preliminary reading, a new draft that gives the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Education the authority to refuse to grant a teaching license to holders of a university degree from a Palestinian academic institution.

The draft received a majority of 40 votes against nine opponents.

According to the text of the proposed law, teachers in East Jerusalem who studied at Palestinian universities will be forced to complete their studies at Israeli academic institutions in order to continue their work, "and those who obtained their degrees or completed the majority of their studies before the law came into effect will not be subject to it."

In November, the Israeli Knesset approved, in its second and third readings, a draft that would prosecute teachers and professional staff within the 1948 territories. The draft authorizes the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Education to dismiss an employee with administrative dismissal from the education system if it is proven that he identifies with or supports 'terrorism' and authorizes the Minister of Education to withhold the budget of an educational institution in which it is 'proven' that the school staff identifies with or supports terrorism.

This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
