While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Haniyya phones regional officials, urges efforts to stop the Israeli massacres in Gaza

Sunday 14-July-2024

DOAHA, (PIC)

Head of the 'Hamas political bureau, Ismaeel Haniyya, conducted a series of contacts with ceasefire mediators and some countries in the region following the horrific massacres that had been committed on Saturday by the Israeli occupation army in Khan Younus and the west of Gaza City.

According to his office, Haniyya talked over the phone with regional officials about the Israeli obstacles that prevent reaching a ceasefire agreement and the massacres that took place in different areas of Gaza on Saturday.

Haniyya said that his Movement dealt positively and responsibly with the latest ceasefire proposal with the aim of reaching an agreement stopping the aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, but Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu persisted in putting obstacles in this regard and committing more massacres in Gaza.

Haniyya called on the mediators in Egypt and Qatar to intervene with the US administration and other concerned parties to put an end to Israel’s massacres and aggression in Gaza.

The 'Hamas leader also made similar contacts with officials from Türkiye and Oman.

The Israeli army attacked yesterday a designated humanitarian safe zone in southern Gaza, killing at least 90 civilians and wounding 300 others.

In order to justify the massacre, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime claimed the target of Saturday’s massive attack in Al-Mawasi area in southern Gaza was Hamas commander Mu'hammed Al-Dhayf, but Netanyahu said he was not certain if that leader had been killed.

'Hamas, for its part, rejected the Israeli claim as “lies,” saying “defenseless civilians” were massacred in the attack.

'Hamas accuses the US administration of being accomplice in Khan Younus massacre

Saturday 13-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has accused the US administration of being an accomplice in the massacre that was committed on Saturday morning by the Israeli occupation army in Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younus, describing the massacre as “part of the ongoing Nazi genocide in Gaza” and a “dangerous escalation.”

“This heinous massacre that was committed by the Zionist occupation army targeted Al-Mawasi area in the west of Khan Younus City, an area already designated by the Israeli army as a safe zone,” 'Hamas said.

“Israeli aircraft, artillery and drones intensively and successively targeted the tents of displaced people with different ammunitions, killing and wounding hundreds of innocent and defenseless civilians,” 'Hamas added.

'Hamas called Israeli claims about targeting some of its leaders in the area as “lies”, saying it was not the first time the Israeli occupation made such false allegations to cover up its horrific massacres.

'Hamas stressed that Al-Mawasi massacre reflected Israeli persistence in targeting defenseless civilians in tents, displacement centers and neighborhoods and committing the most heinous crimes against them, with no regard for international calls demanding it to stop targeting civilians.

“Such a disregard for international law and conventions and large-scale violations against defenseless civilians would not have persisted had it not been for the support provided by the US administration for the extremist Zionist government and its terrorist army,” the Movement underlined.

Protest in London calls on Starmer to stop arms exports to Israel

Sunday 14-July-2024

LONDON, (PIC)

Hundreds participated in an emergency protest outside the office of the new British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Saturday evening, condemning the Israeli massacre in Mawasi, Khan Yunis and the successive massacres in Gaza, and to further pressure the Labor government to stop arms exports to Israel.

The protest was called for by the Palestinian Forum in Britain, in cooperation with Pulse of Palestine, Health Workers for Palestine, and Media for Palestine.

Adnan Hmidan, deputy chairman of the Palestinian Forum in Britain, referred to four messages carried by the protest, which came after those horrific massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army, to translate the positive statements of the Labor government into practical positions, foremost among them: “the immediate cessation of arms exports to the occupation, the re-funding of UNRWA, and the withdrawal of the previous British government’s reservation on the eligibility of the International Criminal Court to file a complaint against Netanyahu and the occupation leaders, and the recognition of the State of Palestine.”

This comes after the publication of a pioneering study in The Lancet, one of the world’s most prestigious medical journals, on the tragic impact of the Israeli aggression.

British activists in solidarity with Palestine, such as Dr. Sue, Andrew Feinstein, Fiona and Maher Hajjaj from Pulse of Palestine, spoke at the protest, while Maysara Ibrahim of the Palestinian Forum gave a speech.

These demonstrations are part of a broader mobilization in Britain and globally, reflecting the deep discontent with the faltering responses of Western and global governments to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The recent demonstrations saw massive crowds across Britain, including students from major British universities, diverse human rights groups, Palestinian activism organizations, and Jewish activists as well.

Gaza's vibrant heart transforms from a bustling center filled with cafes and shops to a horrifying scene of destruction by the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment

GAZA, Sunday, July 14, 2024 (WAFA) –

In the heart of Gaza City, what was once a bustling center filled with cafes and shops has transformed into a haunting tableau of destruction. The streets, once alive with the hum of daily life, now lay strewn with debris, remnants of homes, and the stark reality of lives lost amid ongoing Israeli aggression.

Devastation and despair

The echoes of a city in crisis resonate deeply in the words of 57-year-old teacher Tareq Ghanem, who stands amid the wreckage of the Al-Rimal neighborhood. "The occupation forces have left behind immense destruction and burned buildings before their withdrawal," he recounts to AFP, his voice heavy with sorrow.

"I don’t understand what the civilians have done to deserve this. Homes have ignited, and shells have rained down everywhere." Ghanem's distress is palpable as he describes families fleeing their homes, leaving everything behind in the face of relentless bombardment.

The situation, he adds, is dire. "We are patient, but the conditions are unbearable. There are corpses on the streets for a week and others that have been there for four or five days. No one is coming to retrieve them. Injured individuals lie everywhere, and no one can reach them."

A grievous toll

Recent reports from the Civil Defense in Gaza reveal the grim reality: around 60 bodies have been discovered in the neighborhoods of Al-Senaa and Tel al-Hawa, following a similar discovery in Al-Shuja’iya just a day earlier. The ongoing search has revealed countless bodies trapped in the rubble and lying along the streets, underscoring the scale of the tragedy.

As the Israeli onslaught enters its tenth month, entire buildings have been reduced to dust, while others remain charred along the city’s coastal promenade. The once-vibrant streets are now shrouded in dust, debris, and shattered remnants of what used to be homes and businesses.

Call for action

Louise Wateridge, a spokesperson for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), paints a bleak picture of the situation. "Every direction you look in Gaza City reveals unimaginable destruction," she stated, her recent field visit leaving her shaken. "The situation is horrific."

As the Israeli army issued evacuation orders for various neighborhoods, including Al-Rimal and Tel al-Hawa, the humanitarian crisis deepened. Wateridge noted that UNRWA has been effectively forced out of its headquarters in Gaza and has been absent from the city since October.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 38,584 martyrs

Sunday 14-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army committed four massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 141 civilians and injuring over 400 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 541 of them, including 141 martyrs, were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 38,584 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 88,881 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

A number of settlers escorted by police officers also gathered in the eastern area of the Mosque and embarked on performing Talmudic prayers.

The building contains three apartments that shelter his children and grandchildren, one of which was constructed before the Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

He added, "I have been forced to evacuate all three apartments and am now waiting for the demolition bulldozers to arrive at any moment."
