While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Euro-Med: Israel’s ongoing bloody attacks in Gaza highlight international failure

Monday 15-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Monitor for Human Rights affirmed that the international community has failed to stop the ongoing genocide for the tenth consecutive month in the Gaza Strip.

The human rights Monitor said in a press statement on Sunday that the repeated direct and bloody Israeli attacks and the bombing of United Nations facilities one after the other, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians at once, is a glaring expression of this international failure.

It stressed that the UN Security Council and the General Assembly must act urgently to compel Israel to stop its systematic and widespread military attacks against the forced displacement centers in the Gaza Strip.

The Euro-Med Monitor added, “Israel is systematically and repeatedly violating the principles of distinction, proportionality and necessity, and does not consider the lives of civilians at all.”

It called for an emergency session of the UN Security Council to discuss the implications of the systematic crimes against civilians in Gaza, including the forcibly displaced, and to support efforts to hold those responsible for committing them accountable.

It concluded, “We urge the International Criminal Court to expedite the issuance of arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant, and to expand the circle of investigation into individual criminal responsibility for the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip to include all those responsible.” It called for the issuance of arrest warrants against those responsible for these crimes and to recognize and deal with them (the crimes committed by Israel) as a blatant crime of genocide.

The Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre against the displaced and civilian citizens in the Al-Nusayrat camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip, on Sunday evening, which is the third in less than 24 hours.

Palestinian medical sources said that 13 martyrs were killed and 71 were injured in an Israeli bombardment of the Abu 'Araiban school of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency UNRWA, which shelters thousands of displaced persons in Al-Nusayrat.

The genocide war on the Gaza Strip continues for the 282nd consecutive day, amid the ongoing massacres targeting citizens and the displaced in various parts of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with a total blockade and a starvation policy that is ravaging the Palestinian citizens, particularly in the northern areas of the Strip.

'Hamas: Israel continues to escalate massacres against defenseless civilians

Monday 15-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said in a statement that “the criminal Zionist occupation army continues to escalate its massacres against defenseless civilians displaced in shelter centers.”

“The latest being the barbaric bombing of UNRWA’s Abu 'Oraiban School this afternoon in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp; resulting in a death toll of about 15 martyrs and dozens of wounded,” it said on Sunday evening.

“This is an extension of the ongoing war of extermination against our defenseless civilians and the targeting of women and children, which is a blatant Zionist challenge to the international community, and a disregard for the UN demands that stressed the necessity of stopping the aggression against our people,” it stated.

“The attempts of terrorist Netanyahu and his Nazi-like government to subjugate our people through this level of unprecedented crime will fail,” Hamas concluded.

Earlier on Sunday, at least 15 Palestinians were massacred in a fresh Israeli attack on an UNRWA-run school sheltering displaced families in the Gaza Strip.

Former ICC Prosecutor, Luis Ocampo says Al-Mawasi massacre is a “clear war crime”

Monday 15-July-2024

GENEVA, (PIC)

Luis Ocampo, former prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, has called for launching an urgent investigation into Israel’s Al-Mawasi massacre in the Gaza Strip, activating the mechanisms of international law in this regard and holding those involved accountable for what he called a “clear war crime.”

In recent televised remarks, Ocampo expressed his strong belief in the international law and its role in protecting victims and called for safeguarding this law by holding war criminals accountable.

He accused the Israeli regime of having a premeditated intent to commit the massacre in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus and ignoring a previous ICC warning calling for not invading Rafa'h because there was no other safe place for the civilians to go to

“Unfortunately, Israeli bombed a place that was supposed to be safe, which confirms that the Israeli army acted with a criminal intent. This makes the case clear to the court and enable it to request the issuance of arrest warrants against Israeli leaders,” Ocampo told Al Jazeera satellite tv channel.

“The international community can develop a mechanism to punish countries that obstruct the peace process and the ceasefire efforts through preventing them from taking part in the international system,” the ICC official stressed.

Al-Rishiq exposes reports, claiming that 'Hamas halted Gaza ceasefire talks, as untrue

Sunday 14-July-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

Member of the 'Hamas political bureau 'Izzat Al-Rishiq has affirmed that what was reported by AFP, the French news agency, and other media outlets about his Movement’s decision to stop ceasefire talks following yesterday’s massacre in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus was “untrue.”

“One goal of the barbaric escalation against our people by Netanyahu and his Nazi government is to derail the current efforts to reach an agreement stopping the aggression against our people, and this has become clear to everyone,” Al-Rishiq stated on Sunday.

AFP claimed on Sunday that Hamas was pulling out of the Gaza truce talks following an Israeli genocidal strike that killed and injured hundreds of civilians in a displacement camp in southern Gaza.

Horrific testimonies of torture and sexual harassments, in Israeli prison of 'Ofer

RAMALLAH, Monday, July 15 2024 (WAFA) –

Khalid Mahajna, lawyer for the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission, reported horrific testimonies about detainees from the Gaza Strip, during his visit to the Israeli prison of  'Ofer.

Mahajneh said in a statement, quoting the detainee (M.A.), that some of the detainees in 'Ofer were subjected to sexual harassment after being stripped of their clothes and beaten in sensitive places, and they are currently suffering from difficult health and psychological conditions.

He added that police dogs attack detainees their bodies while their hands are tied behind their heads.

He pointed out that there are more than 100 sick and wounded detainees without treatment, in light of severe overcrowding in the prison rooms, which are cement rooms that lack ventilation and contain iron beds without mattresses or blankets.

Mahajna stated that the detainees eat while handcuffed and each detainee has one meal throughout the day, which consists of 100 grams of bread, a cucumber or tomato, and a very small amount of milk.

He said that the bathroom is exposed inside the detainee's rooms, in addition to the presence of surveillance cameras inside the rooms focusing on the bathrooms, while the duration of showering is still limited to one minute only.

Mahajna, quoting the detainees, pointed out that 'Ofer detention center includes two torture wards inside the rooms, and the detainees cannot be seen during their torture, but only their screams can be heard. Recently, the occupation soldiers assaulted all the detainees in 'Ofer, causing many of them to have their limbs broken.

Lawyer Mahajna quoted one of the detainees, who was transferred from the "Sde Teman" camp to "'Ofer", as saying that one of the sick detainees was killed after the occupation soldiers refused to provide him with the necessary treatment.

UN report: It would take 15 years to clear the rubble in Gaza

Monday 15-July-2024

LONDON, (PIC)

The UN estimates that it would take 15 years to remove 40 million tons of rubble in the Gaza Strip, if a fleet of 100 trucks was used, costing between $500 and $600 million.

The Guardian newspaper published a report on Monday in which it highlighted these conclusions that indicated the enormous challenge of rebuilding the Gaza Strip, following the Israeli genocidal war, which has so far lasted for months and led to massive destruction of homes and infrastructure.

According to the assessment by the UN Environment Program, 137,297 buildings in Gaza have been damaged so far. More than a quarter of these are classified as completely destroyed, about 10 percent were severely damaged, and a third were moderately damaged.

The UN assessment found that massive landfill sites will need to be established, ranging in size from 618 acres to 1,235 acres.

The assessment, published as part of a campaign to raise funds for early rehabilitation planning for Gaza, also found that the conflict could reduce levels of health, education, and wealth in the Strip to 1980 levels, erasing 44 years of development.

Last May, the UN estimated that Gaza rehabilitation could reach up to $40 billion, stressing that recovery from the massive and unprecedented destruction inflicted on the Strip due to the prolonged Israeli aggression may take 80 years.

Per Lodhamar, the UN official for mine action, explained that the war left an estimated 37 million tons of rubble, “that is, approximately 300 kilograms of debris per square meter.”

Data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission show that the occupation authorities demolished 318 facilities in the West Bank during the first half of 2024, compared to the demolition of 313 facilities during the entire year of 2023, an indication of an unprecedented escalation of demolitions.
