While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

China: The Palestinian issue is the core of the Middle East issue

Wednesday 24-July-2024

Beijing, (PIC)

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday that “China is one of the first countries to recognize the Palestine Liberation Organization and the State of Palestine and has always firmly supported the Palestinian people in restoring their legitimate national rights.”

In his speech at the conclusion of the round of talks between the Palestinian factions, which was held at the invitation of China, the Chinese foreign minister stressed that “the Palestinian issue is the core of the Middle East issue, and China has no self-interest concerning the Palestinian issue. What we care about is morality, and what we call for is Justice”.

Wang Yi said, “The Palestinian issue, which lasted for more than seven decades without a solution, has served as a test for international justice, fairness, conscience and morals for humanity. Currently, the conflict in the Gaza Strip continues, the repercussions resulting from it are still extending, and the region is witnessing many intertwined conflicts.”

“In order to get out of the current predicament, the Chinese side proposes a three-step initiative, the first is to promote a comprehensive, lasting and sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible and ensure humanitarian assistance and relief access. The international community should further unite on the issue of ceasefire,” he added.

The Chinese chief diplomat said that the second step is to uphold the principle of “the Palestinians governing Palestine” and work together to promote post-war governance in Gaza. The third step is to promote Palestine to become a full member of the United Nations and begin to implement the two-state solution, he elaborated.

Wang Yi underscored that “the three steps mentioned above are interconnected by each other, and none is indispensable, stressing that ceasefire and humanitarian relief are top priorities, ‘the Palestinians governing Palestine’ is the basic principle of post-war reconstruction in Gaza, and the two-state solution is the fundamental way out for the future.”

“The international community should support the parties concerned in implementing the three-step approach with a serious attitude,” he concluded.

UNRWA: Children paying highest price in Gaza amid displacement and sufferings

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 (WAFA) –

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Wednesday that children are paying the highest price of the war in the Gaza Strip, amid displacement and fear of losing their childhood.

UNRWA added in a post on X, “Our UNRWA colleagues continue to provide psychological, social and recreational activities to give the children a sense of normalcy as much as possible.”

“Children should be able to be children,” the agency added.

On Tuesday, UNRWA communications officer, Louise Wateridge, said in an interview with British BBC Radio 4 that Israel has placed more than 80 percent of the areas in the Gaza Strip under evacuation orders, and that thousands of Palestinians continue to flee again from the city of Khan Younus.

Since the onset of the occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, an estimated 39,090 civilians have been killed, mostly women and children, and 90,147 others have been wounded.

Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.

In the West Bank, the death toll as a result of attacks by the occupation forces and colonists rose to 589, including 142 children, since October 7, 2023.

Jewish-American surgeon says Israeli snipers deliberately kill Palestinian children in Gaza

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 (WAFA) –

A Jewish-American surgeon who volunteered in Gaza accuses Israeli snipers of deliberately targeting and killing Palestinian children with dead-center shots.

Perlmutter said that what he witnessed in Gaza during his first week exceeded all the tragedies he had seen in his professional career.

“All the disasters I saw combined over the course of 40 field trips, including natural disasters and the World Trade Center bombing, do not equal the level of carnage against civilians I saw in just my first week in Gaza,” Perlmutter said.

He added that most of the victims he saw were children, stressing, "I have never seen anything like this before. I saw children burned and torn apart beyond anything I have ever seen in my life."

WHO warns Gaza in danger of polio outbreak

Wednesday 24-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

A top World Health Organization (WHO) official said Tuesday that he’s “extremely worried” about polio and other outbreaks of communicable diseases in Gaza after traces of the virus turned up in sewage samples in the territory.

Dr. Ayadil Saparbekov, team lead for health emergencies at WHO in the Palestinian territories, said test results and a risk assessment were expected this week about how people and medical officials should respond to a possible outbreak.

There have been no confirmed human cases of polio in Gaza, but six of seven sewage samples tested positive for vaccine-derived poliovirus, he said. That means that one or more people who got a polio vaccine jab have shed the virus in the environment.

“I am extremely worried about an outbreak happening in Gaza. And this is not only polio — the different outbreaks of the communicable diseases that may happen,” he told a United Nations briefing in Geneva by video, alluding to a hepatitis outbreak there in 2023.

Saparbekov said lack of water, sanitation, and access to health care could lead to more people dying of communicable diseases than from injury-related conditions.

“There is a high risk of spreading the circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus in Gaza, not only because of the detection but also because of the very dire situation with the water sanitation,” he told reporters in Geneva via video link from Occupied Jerusalem.

“It may also spill over internationally, at a very high point.”

Commission of Detainees says Ofer prisoners suffer from starvation, harsh conditions

Wednesday 24-July-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs has said that the Palestinian prisoners in Ofer jails are suffering from harsh incarceration and health conditions and real starvation.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Commission said that its lawyer was able recently to visit a number of administrative detainees and listen to their testimonies about the suffering of prisoners in Ofer jail.

The Commission’s lawyer reported that the food served to the prisoners in Ofer jail is extremely poor in quantity and quality, adding that the prisoners’ bodies became bony and skinny.

The Ofer prisoners also complained that Israeli jailers deprived them of having enough clothing, cleaning materials and other vital essentials.

According to the Commission, all the detainees in Ofer jails had been exposed to physical attacks and torture during and after their detention.

The Commission expressed its concern over the miserable detention conditions in Israeli jails, accusing competent international organizations of neglecting the suffering of Palestinian prisoners and only obtaining information about them from media outlets and reports issued by rights groups.

Palestinian detainees face inhumane conditions in the Israeli occupation regime prison of Etzion, says Commission

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission said that the detainees in the Israeli occupation apartheid regime prison of Etzion near the Al-Khaleel (Hebron) and Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) governorates are facing harsh and inhumane imprisonment conditions.

The Commission said in a statement that her lawyer was able to visit a number of detainees who confirmed the tragic situation inside the detention center.

It said that detainees were subjected to different types of maltreatment and torture, the latest of which was the case of detainee “A.R.” who was severely beaten on his feet and hands with sticks and rugs during his detention and interrogation, which left traces and scratches on his hands and all over his body.

Meanwhile, the detainee “A” was also subjected to sever assault when a number of soldiers threw him to the ground amidst screaming, cursing using cameras to pressure and provoke him in an inhumane manner.

The Commission confirmed that the documented cases of detentions are only miniature examples, adding that all the detainees in Etzion live in very difficult conditions without exception, and are subjected to beatings in a frantic manner.

The Commission appealed to all competent authorities, led by international institutions and human rights bodies, to intervene urgently to save the detainees from the brutality of this treatment, which contradicts the most basic human rights, guaranteed by all international human rights laws and regulations.

Amnesty International Warns of U.S. Complicity in War Crimes in Gaza

NEW YORK, Wednesday, July 23, 2024 (WAFA) -

As President Biden, Vice President Harris, and the U.S. Congress welcome Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington, Amnesty International warned that the U.S. is on notice of the government of Israel’s unlawful use of U.S.-origin weapons, including in war crimes, and will be complicit in further violations committed with these weapons.

“Enough is enough,” said Paul O’Brien, Executive Director of Amnesty International USA. “The U.S. government has been presented with ample evidence from experts around the world that U.S.-origin arms have been used in war crimes and unlawful killings by the Israeli government. Continued weapons transfers will make the U.S. complicit in violations of international law committed with these arms.”

“Amnesty International’s own research has shown on multiple occasions that the government of Israel is using U.S.-supplied weapons in serious violations of international humanitarian and human rights law, as well as U.S. law and policy,” said O’Brien.

“The International Court of Justice found the risk of genocide in Gaza is plausible and even in its own assessment, the U.S. determined that it is reasonable to assess that Israeli security forces have used U.S. weapons to violate international humanitarian law.

In its recent Advisory Opinion, the Court also found that Israel’s occupation of the Occupied Palestinian Territory is unlawful and it should be urgently brought to an end, said Amnesty International in a statement.

“In light of these findings, as a first step, President Biden must end U.S. complicity with the government of Israel’s grave violations of international law and immediately suspend the transfer of weapons to the government of Israel.”

Companies manufacturing and exporting arms also have a responsibility to respect human rights and international humanitarian law throughout their value chains. This responsibility is independent of a state’s own human rights obligations and exists over and above compliance with national laws and regulations. Companies providing material assistance in the commission of a war crime can be found legally liable for such a crime.

“With thousands of civilian lives on the line every single day, the U.S. Government and U.S. companies are leaving themselves vulnerable to liability and culpability because of their complicity,” concluded O’Brien. “Now is the time to urgently suspend all transfers of weapons to the government of Israel and push for a permanent ceasefire.”

UN spokesperson: 150,000 people were displaced by Israeli evacuation orders from Khan Younus, in the southern Gaza Strip in just one day

NEW YORK, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 (WAFA) –

The United Nations spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, said around 150,000 people were displaced from Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip in just one day.

During a press conference today, Dujarric stressed that all Israeli occupation forces evacuation orders profoundly disrupt people’s lives.

He stressed that the evacuation orders issued by the Israeli occupation army shortly before any attack posed significant risks to civilian lives.

"OCHA reminds us that each evacuation order profoundly disrupts people's lives. People have been forced to move into areas with little to no infrastructure, where there is very limited access to shelter, health, sanitation, or other life-saving humanitarian assistance," said Dujarric.
