While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Russian State Duma condemns Israeli parliament’s position against Palestinian statehood

Thursday 25-July-2024

MOSCOW, (PIC)

The Russian State Duma has condemned the Israeli occupation apartheid regime so-called parliament (Knesset) for voting against the establishment of a Palestinian state.

“The delegates of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation resolutely condemn the stance of the State of Israel’s Knesset, expressed in the July 18, 2024 Knesset declaration against the establishment of the State of Palestine,” the Duma said in a statement.

“By groundlessly insisting that the very establishment of a Palestinian state will create a threat for Israel and its citizens, make the Israeli-Palestinian conflict unresolvable and destabilize the situation in the region, the Israeli parliament crudely violates the principles and norms of international law at the foundation of the Middle Eastern settlement, as well as multiple legally binding resolutions of the UN Security Council, which had unequivocally proclaimed the creation of two sovereign states, Israel and Palestine, on that ancient land, as a solution to the Palestinian issue,” the Duma’s statement reads.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime so-called parliament (Knesset) has passed a resolution that overwhelmingly rejected the establishment of a Palestinian state. The resolution passed in the Knesset with 68 votes in favor and just nine against it.

UNRWA warns of systematic Israeli plan targeting its existence

Thursday 25-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Inas 'Hamdan, acting director of UNRWA’s information office in Gaza, has warned of a systematic Israeli plan to dismantle UNRWA, stressing that the agency is committed to providing its services despite the restrictions and difficulties obstructing its work.

“UNRWA remains committed to providing relief services and humanitarian assistance to the displaced civilians in the Gaza Strip, including health services, medical consultations, food aid, shelter supplies, mental health services and sanitary services, in addition to managing shelter centers,” Hamdan said in an interview conducted with her by Arabi21 news website on Wednesday.

'Hamdan described the current humanitarian conditions in Gaza as “catastrophic and tragic,” affirming that the lives of Gaza residents were turned upside down as Israel’s brutal war on them entered its 10th month.

'Hamdan accused the Israeli regime of seeking to dismantle UNRWA through systematic practices, including leveling fabricated accusations against its employees, killing them, destroying its facilities, and obstructing the entry of sufficient aid shipments.

The UNRWA official pointed out that the Israeli army had destroyed 190 facilities belonging to UNRWA and killed 197 of its employees in stark violation of all international conventions.

Euro-Med: 10% of the Gaza Strip’s population killed, injured, or went missing

Thursday 25-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

About 10% of the population of the Gaza Strip was killed, injured, or went missing during the 293-day genocide carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip since October 7, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed in a statement issued on Thursday.

The Euro-Med preliminary statistics indicate that about 50,000 Palestinians were killed, or reported missing under the rubble of the destroyed buildings, or their bodies are still on the roads or in border areas or completely destroyed and cannot be recovered, while more than about 100,000 others were injured. The majority of these civilian victims are children and women, while about 3,000 Palestinians disappeared after they were arrested from the Gaza Strip, and their fate remains unknown.

The estimates provided by Euro-Med are based on data and statistics gathered by its field teams from Gaza’s neighborhoods and camps, as well as information received from relevant authorities and institutions, including several hospitals and medical teams.

These indicate that at least 51,000 people have died as a result of the Israeli blockade of the entire Gaza Strip, denial of medical care, collapse of the health sector due to targeting and blockade, severe weakness in ambulance services, severe shortage of basic medicines, particularly for patients with chronic illnesses and cancer, prevention of travel abroad for treatment, and the spread of infectious diseases and epidemics.

Accordingly, the natural death rate increased from an estimated 3.5 per 1,000 people prior to the start of the genocide campaign to 22 per 1,000 people during the genocide campaign.

The number of beds available in operating hospitals and field hospitals across the Gaza Strip is currently less than 1,500, which is insufficient to accommodate the needs of over two million people. This is in contrast to the 3,500 beds that were available prior to October 7.

The scarcity of medical supplies and equipment is making the bed shortage worse, as is the Israeli army’s ongoing, systematic, and widespread destruction of hospitals and health facilities. Additionally, there has been a notable rise in the number of wounded and sick, which has resulted in a weak medical response and serious health complications for the wounded and sick, as well as avoidable deaths among the elderly.

The Euro-Med called for putting pressure on Israel to reopen the main water pipelines that enter the Gaza Strip, particularly those that enter from the north of the Strip, as well as to guarantee the safety of technicians and give them the chance to repair and restore the water lines and their various sources while also keeping up sanitation facilities and services.

Pressure should also be applied to Israel to ensure that enough fuel is imported to run the water and sanitation infrastructure, which includes stations, water desalination plants, water wells, and mobile water cycles, and to enter the necessary supplies for repair and rehabilitation work on civilian infrastructure, it added.

'Hamas slams Washington for whitewashing Netanyahu’s war crimes in Gaza

Thursday 25-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said on Wednesday that Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu should have been arrested as a war criminal and handed over to the International Criminal Court instead of giving him an opportunity in Washington to polish his image and cover up his ethnic cleansing and genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip.

“While the prime minister of the terrorist occupation government is leading a brutal war aimed at exterminating our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip … in a way that has never happened in modern history, the US Congress has received war criminal Netanyahu and listened to his speech, in which he repeated his cheap propaganda and lies that he had spread more than nine months ago before they were proven false and used them as a pretext to commit the most horrific crimes against women, children and elderlies in the Gaza Strip,” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday.

“Netanyahu tried to play on emotions, twist facts and promote false narratives about October 7, while Israeli and international investigations confirmed the falsehood of these claims and that the Israeli army committed mass killings of Israeli civilians in the envelope of Gaza [at the time],” Hamas said.

'Hamas also described Netanyahu’s talk about concerted efforts to bring back the Israeli captives in Gaza as a complete lie and misleading to the Israeli, US and international public opinion, accusing him of thwarting all the efforts that aimed at ending the war and brokering a prisoner swap deal.

“All the human rights and international reports affirmed that Netanyahu and his army committed mass killings and ethnic cleansing crimes in Gaza that had never been seen during contemporary world wars, used starvation as a weapon, and prevented the entry of aid, burned and destroyed the Rafa'h border crossing, and killed many humanitarian workers,” Hamas pointed out.

'Hamas also accused the US administration of declaring its full partnership in the commission of horrific violations in the Gaza Strip.

“Through its persistence in providing the Israeli occupation with all means of political and military support and the government of Zionist terrorists with the cover they need to escape punishment and using the Congressional podium to whitewash the fascist war criminals’ hands that are stained with the blood of innocent children instead of holding them accountable for their crimes against humanity, Washington confirms its complete complicity in the appalling atrocities in the Gaza Strip — in the war of extermination, starvation and destruction of all aspects of life that is being watched and heard by the entire world,” the Movement said.

Rafa'h mayor: The Israel occupation has turned the city into a disaster area

Thursday 25-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The mayor of Rafa'h, A'hmed Al-Soufi, said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) turned the city into a disaster area after destroying more than 70% of the governorate’s infrastructure, including roads, water and sewage networks, tanks, water wells, the central market, and municipal facilities.

The IOFs adopted a scorched earth policy, after destroying 80% of the Al-Shoaka area, Al-Salam neighborhood, and the western Yibna and Rafa'h refugee camps, along with large squares of Tel Al-Sultan and Al-Saudi neighborhoods, and the Western Camp, in addition to more than 60% of Al-Shaboura refugee camp.

Al-Sufi explained that these are preliminary estimates that will be re-examined after the IOFs withdrawal from the city.

He pointed out that the Rafa'h municipal administration is working to communicate with Arab and international donors to quickly begin the reconstruction of the demolished facilities.

'Hamas: The destruction of residential neighborhoods is part of genocide war

Thursday 25-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement called on the international community and the United Nations “to leave the box of condemnation and denunciation by taking practical measures to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and hold the Israeli war criminals accountable.”

“The criminal Zionist occupation army’s continuation of the systematic destruction of residential neighborhoods east of Khan Younus, the deliberate and direct shooting of civilians, and the indiscriminate intense bombing of various residential areas in the Gaza Strip, is a continuation of the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing,” the Movement said in a statement issued Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza has released updated casualty numbers from the past 48 hours in the southern city after Israel ordered residents to evacuate and began a new offensive.

The PGMO said that 129 people have been killed and 416 have been injured over the past 48 hours, more than 100 of whom have not yet reached hospitals.

“The [Israeli] army targets everything that moves on Salah al-Din Street in Khan Younus,” the Office said in a statement, adding that the Israeli army is obstructing efforts to rescue wounded people who have appealed for help.

Rishiq: Netanyahu’s speech was a party of lies

Thursday 25-July-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

Senior 'Hamas official 'Izzat Al-Rishiq said that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech in the US Congress on Wednesday was full of lies.

“Netanyahu’s speech was a party of lies and disdain for the minds of the world,” Al-Rishiq said.

For her part, US congresswoman Rashida Tlaib held aloft a sign reading “war criminal” as Netanyahu spoke.

In his speech addressing the US Congress, Netanyahu praised Biden for his “heartfelt support” for Israel.

“After the savage attack on October 7, he rightly called Hamas ‘sheer evil’. He dispatched two aircraft carriers to the Middle East to deter a wider war, and he came to Israel to stand with us in our darkest hour, a visit that will never be forgotten,” Netanyahu said.

Meanwhile, protesters have continued to flood into the US capital ahead of Netanyahu’s address to Congress, with dozens bussed in all the way from New Jersey.

Thousands of Israeli settlers also participated in a march that began in Tel Aviv and reached the American embassy to demand that Netanyahu announce his agreement to conclude a ceasefire deal in his speech before US Congress.
