While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

ýPalestinian Prisoner Society condemns the Israeli Sde Teiman rape crime, calls for international probe into it

Tuesday 30-July-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) condemned in the strongest terms on Monday the “Sde Tieman” rape crime against a Palestinian prisoner from Gaza.

The PPS said, “the Israeli crime at Sde Teiman is one of thousands of violations that have been committed by the Israeli occupation forces against Gaza detainees since the beginning of the genocide war on Gaza.”

The story went viral on social media as one of Gaza detainees was subjected to physical and sexual assault by a group of Israeli prison guards.

The PPS stressed that the criminal attack reveals the falsehood of the Israeli allegations about the intention of investigating torture crimes in Sde Teiman prison, noting that other Israeli prisons, such as the Negev prison, are also witnessing the same heinous crimes.

In light of the racist statements of Israeli leaders such as Itamar Ben-Gvir, which encourage the killing of Palestinian prisoners, it is obvious that these violations are part of a systematic criminal campaign against Palestinian prisoners, the PPS said.

It added that the Israeli calls for closing the prison and transferring its detainees to another jail, are mere attempts to cover up the ongoing crimes, and do not reflect an actual solution.

The PPS called for an urgent international investigation into the crime to hold the Israeli prison guards accountable, in light of the failure of the international community and inability of human rights organizations to take effective steps to stop the Israeli genocide and crimes against the Palestinian prisoners.

It also called for forming an urgent UN investigation committee, to address the horrific crimes and violations to which detainees are exposed to, and appealed to the international community to immediately intervene to save Palestinian prisoners from these brutal crimes.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli protesters stormed the Sde Teiman detention center following the arrest of ten Israeli soldiers for interrogation about torturing prisoners from Gaza, while Israeli and parliamentary figures expressed their solidarity with those involved in the incident.

Gaza: Systematic torture practices happen in Sde Teiman jail

Tuesday 30-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Detainees in Gaza has described the practices that have happened against Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip in the notorious Israeli  occupation apartheid regime prison of Sde Teiman as systematic and deliberate violations and war crimes committed at the behest of Israeli leaders.

“We watched the ridiculous play that took place in front of Sde Teiman prison, whose cast are members of the Israeli Knesset and ministers of Netanyahu’s government and officials from the security and military establishment,” the Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Ministry said that what those Israeli lawmakers and officials did yesterday at the prison of Sde Teiman was aimed at showing the international public opinion that the violations that happened in the prison were individual actions.

“However, the truth is that systematic torture practices have happened in the jail and led to the martyrdom of a large number of Palestinian prisoners,” the Ministry added.

The Ministry also described the reported transfer of many prisoners to hospitals due to their exposure to torture and abuse inside Sde Teiman prison as a flagrant violation of the international law and a war crime, calling for shutting down this detention facility.

UN official: Increase in miscarriage rates in Gaza for unknown reasons

Tuesday 30-July-2024

AMMAN, (PIC)

The UN Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, said doctors in the Gaza Strip noticed that the rate of miscarriage among pregnant women is on the rise in the Strip for no clear reasons, noting that residents of Gaza live in “terrible misery”.

The statements of the UN official came during a brief press conference held in Amman through video technology with journalists accredited by the United Nations headquarters in New York on the occasion of Kaag’s recent return from a visit to Gaza.

Kaag explained that she visited a maternity mobile ward that was just approved for use in Gaza, run by UNFPA to provide birth services, including caesarean operations in “horrific conditions amid anxiety of mothers who are deeply worried about the future of their children.”

She pointed out that she learned from doctors that “the rate of miscarriage, in first and second trimester, is on the rise and the explanations are not clear and they’ll conduct studies into that,” noting that women in the Strip suffer from psychological, physical and health pressure.

She said that she visited at the hospitals “children with severe, often chronic medical conditions that only can be treated if they are medically evacuated out of Gaza,” adding that “a number of these children have been displaced four, five times within Gaza, each time in pursuit of safety and medical shelter.”

She spoke about the challenges related to working in Gaza faced by NGOs and humanitarian organizations including the lack of law and order, difficulty in operating, and issues of access, safety, and security, particularly for Palestinian NGOs, as well as the international NGOs, and the difficulty of the distribution if and when the goods arrive in Gaza.

She hailed the Palestinian NGOs who most of them have lost buildings and working equipment but decided to continue their work to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Kaag stressed the need for an immediate and full ceasefire and continued access to Gaza to start to meet the needs.

Palestinian Health Ministry: Gaza is a polio epidemic area

Monday 29-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip declared a polio epidemic in the besieged and bombarded enclave on Monday evening.

The Ministry stressed the situation “poses a health threat to the residents of Gaza and neighboring countries” and called it a “setback” to the global polio eradication program.

The ministry called for an “immediate intervention to end the aggression and find radical solutions” to the issues of lack of potable water and personal hygiene, damaged sewage networks, and the removal of tons of rubbish and solid waste.

On Friday, the World Health Organization said it was sending more than one million polio vaccines to Gaza to be administered over the coming weeks to prevent children from being infected after the virus was detected in sewage samples.

Poliomyelitis, which is spread mainly through the fecal-oral route, is a highly infectious virus that can invade the nervous system and cause paralysis. Cases of polio have declined by 99 percent worldwide since 1988, thanks to mass vaccination campaigns, and efforts continue to eradicate it everywhere.

The UN reported last week that besides detecting the poliovirus, there has been a widespread increase in cases of hepatitis A, dysentery, and gastroenteritis as sanitary conditions deteriorate in Gaza.

Abu Safiya: Infectious skin diseases that were not previously known detected among Gaza children

Monday 29-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip affirmed the detection of widespread infectious skin diseases in the Gaza Strip, especially among children, that were not known before.

Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza, highlighted a concerning rise in skin diseases across the Strip, particularly among children, which is attributed to germs causing widespread skin infections.

Abu Safiya said that “skin infections are increasingly prevalent among the displaced due to inadequate hygiene, poor ventilation, and limited medical treatment,” noting that affected children exhibit symptoms such as elevated body temperature, persistent crying, and refusal to eat or suckle.

He warned that cases may develop when the bacteria enter the blood, causing blood poisoning and sepsis, which he said may lead to death.

Many pictures have spread on social media showing children suffering from rash on all parts of the body, including the face.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that families in Gaza are living in “inhumane conditions”, noting that access to water and sanitation is very limited, which has led to an increase in skin infections and diseases.

The UN body pointed out that Gaza needs “increased humanitarian access to fuel regularly to ensure the provision of clean water and hygiene supplies, including soap.”

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza had previously warned of the risk of the outbreak of polio virus across the Gaza Strip, due to the deterioration of the sewage system.

UNRWA: 40,000 cases of hepatitis recorded in the Gaza Strip

GAZA, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 (WAFA) –

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed that a total of nearly 40,000 cases of hepatitis have been recorded in the Gaza Strip since October 7.

The UN agency said in a report published on its website that UNRWA health centers and shelters across Gaza record 800 to 1,000 new cases of hepatitis every week.

UNRWA warned that the desperate sanitary conditions facilitate the spread of diseases including Hepatitis A.

“The Hepatitis A outbreak is spreading in Gaza during the war. Families are displaced and live in dire and inhuman conditions in overcrowded camps and shelters. They lack clean water, hygiene kits, and proper waste and sewage management. This crisis continues to make it extremely hard for the UNRWA health programme to respond to the needs of the sick.”

Shaikh Sala'h slams Arab and Islamic positions on the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza

Monday 29-July-2024

NAZARETH, (PIC)

Shaikh Ra-id Sala'h, head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied Palestine territory, has criticized the official Arab and Islamic positions on the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, describing them as “shocking and inexcusable.”

“If these official Arab and Islamic positions can offer nothing more than what they have already stated, then this is very unfortunate, and if the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation can offer nothing more than what they have already done, then this means they are in retirement,” Sheikh Salah said in press remarks to Arabi21 news website on Sunday.

“The popular Arab and Islamic positions are still suppressed and stifled, except for some activities that the regimes have permitted in a way that does not harm their interests,” Sheikh Salah added.

Shaikh Ra-id Sala'h considered the word “betrayal” to be “the weakest description of the situation in which the Palestinian people are treated as if they are another people from outside the Islamic and Arab circle and as if they have to carry their pains and concerns on their backs alone.”

Shaikh Ra-id Sala'h stressed that “the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza has transformed the Palestinian cause from its forgotten local incubator into a global and transcontinental incubator, unmasked the Zionist movement, and unveiled the truth of its slogans.”

“The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza has awakened the human nature of the world’s peoples and rejuvenated their consciences, so these peoples have stood up and have not sat down, walking the streets of the world’s capitals and chanting: Stop the war on Gaza,” he said.

PGMO: Israeli army killed 255 Palestinians and injured 300 others in Khan Younus

Tuesday 30-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation army’s eight-day ground operation in the eastern areas of Khan Younus, particularly Bani Suhayla, killed 255 Palestinian civilians and wounded more than 300 others, adding that at least 30 other people are still missing.

In a statement on Tuesday, PGMO said that the Israeli occupation army committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in Khan Younus.

PGMO affirmed that the Israeli occupation army destroyed in Khan Younus at least 31 inhabited homes over the heads of their residents, while 320 homes and buildings sustained different levels of damage in Israeli aerial and artillery attacks.

The Israeli occupation army also destroyed vital sectors and facilities in the east of Khan Younus governorate and obstructed coordination efforts to reach and evacuate dozens of victims who were either killed or injured during the aggression, according to PGMO.

PGMO held the Israeli occupation government and the US administration fully responsible for the massacres that happened in Khan Younus, calling on the international community, its tribunals and the world’s free countries to take legal action against Israeli war criminals to curb their crimes and massacres in Gaza.

Tuesday 30-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 298 on Tuesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

Palestinian succumbs to critical injury from Israeli army gunfire in Nablus

NABLUS, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian Tuesday evening succumbed to his critical injury from Israeli army gunfire in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to security and medical sources.

They said that Ramadhan 'Husain Mu'hammed Sadiq died of his critical injury after being shot with live rounds fired by Israeli occupation forces in the head, chest and back.

Sadiq, 45, was shot by the gun-toting soldiers while in front of his house in the Nablus city neighborhood of Khallet A-'Amoud.

During the raid, the soldiers fired barrages of live ammunition and tear gas canisters towards civilians’ houses.

Sadiq was rushed to a hospital in a critical condition. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful and he died afterwards.

Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the State of Palestine, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

The casualty was rushed to a hospital, where medics described his condition as critical.
