While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Five people killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon

Wednesday 12-June-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

Five Lebanese people were killed, including three Syrians, in an Israeli genocidal airstrike that targeted a convoy of tankers transporting diesel in eastern Lebanon on Tuesday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) also reported on the strikes, saying they targeted a road between Lebanon’s Hermel and Syria’s border area of Al-Qusayr.

“Three Syrians who work with Hezbollah and two Lebanese were killed in the Israeli airstrike,” the SOHR’s director, Rami Abdul Ra'hman, said.

A Lebanese citizen was also killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon, only a few hours after Hizbullah mourned three of its fighters who were killed in night strikes near the border with Syria.

The Israeli airstrikes also targeted a building in the Lebanese Hermel region, about 140 kilometers from the Israeli border.

The National News Agency reported that a civilian working for the Lebanon Water Corporation died of serious injuries which he sustained during the attack.

For its part, the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance group said its fighters bombed Kfar Blum and Gesher Haziv in northern Israel with dozens of Katyusha rockets.

Moreover, Hezbollah said it bombed a group of Israeli soldiers at the Birkat Risha near Lebanon’s southern border.

Since the Israeli war on Gaza started on October 7, Hezbollah has exchanged deadly fire across the border with Israel in protest against the Israeli atrocities against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

'Hamas and PIJ send ceasefire response to mediators

Wednesday 12-June-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement and Palestinian Islamic Jihad said in a joint statement that they have submitted a response to a UN-backed ceasefire resolution to mediators Qatar and Egypt on Tuesday evening.

'Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad have expressed “readiness to positively” reach a deal to end the war in Gaza in a joint statement.

They added that they submitted their response to the proposed Gaza ceasefire deal to Qatari and Egyptian mediators.

“Our response prioritizes the Palestinian people and the complete end of the ongoing onslaught on Gaza,” the statement reads.

For their part, Qatar and Egypt confirmed that they have received a response from the Hamas and Islamic Jihad about the ceasefire deal.

“The two sides confirm that their joint mediation efforts with the United States of America will continue until an agreement is reached, as the mediators will study the response and coordinate with the parties concerned regarding the next steps,” their joint statement read.

On the other hand, White House spokesperson John Kirby said that the US has received Hamas’s formal reply to a UN-backed Gaza ceasefire proposal sent to Qatari and Egyptian mediators.

Kirby told reporters that it was helpful to have a response from 'Hamas and that US officials are currently evaluating it.

Earlier Monday, the UN Security Council (UNSC) adopted a resolution aimed at reaching a comprehensive ceasefire deal in three phases to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The resolution was adopted by a large majority, with 14 votes in favor and Russia abstaining.

Rishiq: 'Hamas responded positively and responsibly to the last proposal over Gaza

Wednesday 12-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Member of the 'Hamas political bureau 'Izzat Al-Rishiq has said that the response of his Movement and other Palestinian factions to the last ceasefire proposal is responsible, serious and positive.

In a statement on Tuesday, Rishiq said that the Hebrew media’s incitement against the 'Hamas response reflected Israeli attempts to evade an agreement leading to a ceasefire in Gaza.

The 'Hamas official affirmed that his Movement’s response is consistent with the demands of its people and resistance and provides a greater chance to reach an agreement.

Background Note:

The main Palestinian demand is that Israel should commit in writing to a permanent ceasefire, total Israeli withdrawal from Gaza strip, free movement and return of the displaced Palestininas to their homes, opening all border crossings for aid and reconstruction, an end to the blockade, and the establishment of the Palestinian state.

Gaza: Hospitals, oxygen station need fuel to continue providing vital services

Wednesday 12-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian health ministry has warned that hospitals, health centers and the only oxygen station in Gaza City are at a risk of going out of service after fuel supplies have run out.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said it launched this warning as the Israeli occupation army persists in carrying out attacks on Gaza and imposing its control over the border crossings.

The ministry said that if hospitals and the oxygen station stopped providing their services, thousands of sick and wounded civilian would face certain death.

The refrigerated medications in the Gaza governorate have also become unsuitable for use due to the lack of fuel supplies needed to operate power generators used for medicine refrigerators, according to the ministry.

The ministry appealed to the international community to urgently intervene in this regard and provide Gaza with its fuel needs.

EU: 2,000 trucks carrying aid stuck on Rafa'h border, prevented from entering Gaza by Israeli closure of the terminal

Wednesday 12-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

More than 2,000 trucks carrying humanitarian aid and commercial goods are stuck on the Egyptian side of the Rafa'h border crossing, the EU’s directorate-general for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid said on Tuesday.

“More than 2,000 trucks carrying humanitarian aid and commercial goods are waiting in Egypt, ready to enter Gaza,” it said in a statement on X.

“Due to intense military operations, the Rafa'h crossing remains closed. The EU advocates for sustained, unimpeded, and safe humanitarian access.”

It had also asked Israel to maintain the Rafa'h crossing open for “unhindered provision” of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance.

The crossing has been closed since Israel’s military launched an operation in the southern city of Rafa'h on May 6.

UNICEF: About 3,000 children in Gaza are at risk of dying before their families’ eyes

GAZA, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 (WAFA) –

Almost 3,000 children have been cut off from treatment for moderate and severe acute malnutrition in southern Gaza, putting them at risk of death as harrowing violence and displacement continue to impact access to healthcare facilities and services for desperate families.

This number, based on reporting from UNICEF’s nutrition partners, equates to approximately three-quarters of the 3,800 children who were estimated to be receiving life-saving care in the south ahead of the escalating conflict in Rafa'h.

The looming risk of more vulnerable children falling sick to malnutrition is also a concern. While there has been a slight improvement in the delivery of food aid to the north, humanitarian access in the south has declined dramatically. Early results from recent malnutrition screenings in the middle and southern governorates of Gaza indicate that cases of moderate and severe malnutrition have risen since the second week of May, when aid delivery and humanitarian access was significantly curtailed by the escalation of the Rafa'h offensive.

“Horrific images continue to emerge from Gaza of children dying before their families’ eyes due to the continued lack of food, nutrition supplies, and the destruction of healthcare services,” said UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa Adele Khodr.  “Unless treatment can be quickly resumed for these 3,000 children, they are at immediate and serious risk of becoming critically ill, acquiring life-threatening complications, and joining the growing list of boys and girls who have been killed by this senseless, man-made deprivation.”

The risk of rising cases of malnutrition comes at the same time as malnutrition treatment services are collapsing. Today, only two of the Gaza Strip’s three stabilization centers that treat seriously malnourished children are functioning. Meanwhile, plans for the opening of new centers have been delayed due to ongoing military operations across the Strip.

Treating a child for acute malnutrition typically takes six to eight weeks of uninterrupted care and requires special therapeutic food, safe water, and other medical support.

Malnourished children are at heightened risk of catching diseases and other health issues due to limited access to safe water, sewage overflow, infrastructure damage, and a lack of hygiene items.

“Our warnings of mounting child deaths from a preventable combination of malnutrition, dehydration and disease should have mobilized immediate action to save children’s lives, and yet, this devastation continues,” Khodr said. “With hospitals destroyed, treatments stopped and supplies scant, we are poising for more child suffering and deaths.”

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces committed war crimes, and other grave violations of international law in Gaza, UN Inquiry finds

New York, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 (WAFA) -

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces are responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the military operations and attacks on Gaza since 7 October 2023, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel, said in a new report today.

The independent Commission, established by the UN Human Rights Council, also concluded that, concerning Israel’s military operations in Gaza, Israel committed war crimes, crimes against humanity and violations of international humanitarian and human rights laws.

The report found that statements made by Israeli officials – including those reflecting the policy of inflicting widespread destruction and killing large numbers of civilians – amounted to incitement and may constitute other serious international crimes.

Direct and public incitement to genocide is a crime under international law whenever perpetrated, even by persons with no direct authority for the conduct of the hostilities. Incitement to discrimination, hostility, or violence is a serious violation of international human rights law and may amount to an international crime, said the report.

“It is imperative that all those who have committed crimes be held accountable,” said Navi Pillay, Chair of the Commission.

“Israel must immediately stop its military operations and attacks in Gaza, including the assault on Rafah, which has cost the lives of hundreds of civilians and again displaced hundreds of thousands of people to unsafe locations without basic services and humanitarian assistance,” Pillay said.

Concerning Israeli military operations and attacks in Gaza, the Commission found that Israeli authorities are responsible for the war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare, murder or willful killing, intentionally directing attacks against civilians and civilian objects, forcible transfer, sexual violence, torture and inhuman or cruel treatment, arbitrary detention and outrages upon personal dignity.

The immense numbers of civilian casualties in Gaza and the widespread destruction of civilian objects and infrastructure were the inevitable result of a strategy undertaken with the intent to cause maximum damage, disregarding the principles of distinction, proportionality and adequate precautions.

The intentional use of heavy weapons with large destructive capacity in densely populated areas constitutes an intentional and direct attack on the civilian population, said the report.

Although Israel issued hundreds of evacuation orders to people in north Gaza and other locations, the Commission found that they were at times insufficient, unclear and conflicting, and did not provide adequate time for safe evacuations. Furthermore, the evacuation routes and the areas designated as safe were consistently attacked by Israeli forces. All of this, the Commission determined, amounted to forcible transfer.

The Commission determined that Israel imposed a “total siege” which amounts to collective punishment against the civilian population.

Israeli authorities have weaponized the siege and used the provision of life-sustaining necessities, including by severing water, food, electricity, fuel and humanitarian assistance, for strategic and political gains.

The siege has disproportionately impacted pregnant women and persons with disabilities, with serious harm inflicted on children leading to preventable child deaths from starvation including newborns.

The report found that specific forms of sexual and gender-based violence constitute part of Israeli Security Forces’ operating procedures. It made the finding due to the frequency, prevalence and severity of the violations, which include public stripping and nudity intended to humiliate the community at large and accentuate the subordination of an occupied people.

In its recommendations, the report calls on the Government of Israel to immediately implement a ceasefire, end the siege of Gaza, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid and cease the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.

The Commission calls on Israel to comply fully with its legal obligations set forth in the International Court of Justice orders on provisional measures issued on 26 January 2024, 28 March 2024 and 24 May 2024 and, in particular, allow the Commission access to Gaza to conduct investigations.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 250

Wednesday 12-June-2024

Israel turns Gaza beach into a deadly execution field for civilians

Wednesday 12-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Palestinian displaced persons who were heading north in the  Gaza Strip through the coastal Al-Rasheed Street, which the Israeli occupation army claims is a safe passage for civilians.

Hundreds of civilians were moving on the coastal road in early June of this current year, when the Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire on them directly.

Al Jazeera TV channel obtained exclusive footage showing the Israeli occupation soldiers killing an unarmed displaced person as he attempted to cross from the beach, after they had ordered him to stop in his place.

The soldiers positioned themselves on a hill on the beach, and one of them shot the Palestinian, who fell on the spot, before they unleashed a barrage of bullets to ensure his execution.

The footage also showed the execution of a Palestinian who was advancing with a group of civilians trying to cross northward on May 17th, after they shot him despite the fact that he was moving with his hand raised to confirm that he was an unarmed civilian. After killing him, the soldiers seized the man’s body and his identity remains unknown.

On May 26th, the Israeli occupation soldiers stopped a Palestinian who was walking on the beach road, asked him to raise his hand, and then opened fire on him directly before a military vehicle began combing the area.

In the afternoon of the 31st of the same month (May), the occupation soldiers opened fire on a displaced person who was trying to cross amid a group of Palestinians, despite the fact that he had stopped in his place as they had instructed him.

This scene was repeated in more than one location, confirming that the Israeli occupation forces were carrying out a specific process of luring and deceiving civilians in order to execute them in the field on the  Gaza beach.

The images confirm that the field execution of civilians has become a routine practice carried out by the Israeli occupation soldiers during the aggression, as stray dogs were shown devouring dozens of bodies strewn on the beach without identifying their owners.
