While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

World Food Program: Famine has returned to northern Gaza Strip at dangerous levels

Thursday 13-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

'Abeer 'Ateefa, the Middle East representative for the World Food Program, issued a warning, stating that the northern Gaza Strip is experiencing another round of famine and that the food security in the Gaza Strip is getting dangerously close to breaking point.

She continued in press statements that the ongoing Israeli military operation in Rafa'h has resulted in a strict and tight closure of the Strip’s crossings, which has caused hunger to return to northern Gaza.

She clarified that the precise numbers show that the populace does not have access to enough food supplies to meet their basic needs and that aid does not reach them far enough to avert famine.

She said that following the first wave of famine that killed many civilians and severely affected children, women, pregnant women, and others, the northern Gaza Strip is now experiencing a new wave of starvation.

A significant humanitarian threat faces the Strip, according to Ateefa, who also emphasized that the conditions for humanitarian aid and relief are exceedingly hazardous and catastrophic in many cases.

In order to guarantee the delivery of aid, she emphasized the necessity of putting an end to the fighting, ending the war, and opening the crossings. She reiterated that there is no feasible substitute for land corridors for the delivery of aid.

'Hamas: The Israeli use of starvation as a weapon against Gaza is a war crime

Thursday 13-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Israel’s “criminal use of starvation as a weapon during this fascist aggression is a war crime and a confirmation of its continuation of the genocide against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip,” the 'Hamas Movement said in a statement issued Wednesday.

The Gaza Strip is facing famine because of the shortage of humanitarian aid that is allowed into the enclave and Israel’s closure of border crossings, the Movement continued.

“Our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are facing an escalation in the brutal starvation war, worsening humanitarian catastrophe, and signs of famine, especially in the Gaza City and the north governorates.”

'Hamas attributed the famine to “the closure of crossings by the (Israeli) occupation, the limited number of aid trucks allowed to enter, and the oppressive siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, especially after the occupation’s seizure of the Rafa'h crossing and its closure to the movement of individuals and aid.”

The Movement urged Arab and Islamic countries, along with the international community, to make efforts and pressure Israel to stop the onslaught in the besieged enclave and open the crossings to relieve the Palestinian population in Gaza.

Poll: 61% of Gazans lost at least one relative in the war

Thursday 13-June-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

A public opinion poll, conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PCPSR), showed that about 80% of the Palestinian people in Gaza reported that they had at least one family member killed or injured in the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Strip since October 7 last year.

The PCPSR published the results of a survey study that it conducted in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in the period between May 26 and June 1, focusing on the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, the subsequent war, the Israeli ground invasion, the unprecedented humanitarian crisis, the atrocities of the war, and the aftermath of the war in Gaza.

The survey noted that “The data collection did not include the besieged northern Gaza Strip, which is witnessing increasing famine, according to international reports.”

The poll found out that about 61% of the victims among the residents of the Gaza Strip, said that “one or more relatives were martyred in the current war, while 65% said one or more relatives were injured.”

The survey also found that “only 26% of the residents of the Gaza Strip were able to reach a place where they can get help, while 72% said they managed to get help but with great difficulty and risk, and 2% said they could not receive help at all.”

Around 64% of Gaza residents said they had sufficient food for only one or two days, while 36% said they did not have sufficient food for one or two days, according to the poll.

The PCPSR pointed out that “the sample size of this survey was 1,570 people, including 760 people interviewed face-to-face in the West Bank (in 76 residential locations) and 750 people in the Gaza Strip (in 75 locations).”

'Hamas to Blinken: Your policy is complicit in genocide

Thursday 13-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement stressed in a statement issued Wednesday evening that it has shown “full positivity” in efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement with Israel.

Hamas has clearly expressed its positive position on what was included in the US president’s proposal, which he came up with on May 31, in which he called for a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, reconstruction of the coastal enclave, and an exchange of captives, the Movement said.

However, Hamas has belied US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s claim that Israel has accepted US President Joe Biden’s proposal aimed at bringing about a truce in the ongoing Israeli genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.

“While Blinken continues to talk about Israel’s approval of the latest proposal, we have not heard any Israeli official speak of this approval,” Hamas said.

Israel has only “emphasized the continuation of the genocidal war and attacked the proposal that came from Biden,” it noted.

The US top diplomat was trying to “exonerate the Zionist occupation, wash his hands stained with the blood of innocent children, women, and the elderly, and hold the Movement responsible for obstructing conclusion of an agreement.”

This, Hamas added, amounted to “a continuation of the American policy of complicity in the brutal genocide war against our Palestinian people, and allowing the occupation to continue its crime with full American political and military cover.”

The Movement finally called on Washington to rather “apply direct pressure on the fascist occupation government, which is determined to complete the mission of killing and genocide, in flagrant violation of all international laws and treaties.”

PGMO: Northern Gaza suffering from starvation

Friday 14-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in the coastal enclave said in a statement issued on Thursday that Palestinians are suffering from “an escalation of the war of starvation”.

The statement noted that the problem was especially precarious in the northern part of Gaza, as a result of Israel’s closure of crossings and the limited number of humanitarian aid trucks that are allowed to enter the Strip.

“The Zionist occupation’s brutal use of starvation, thirst, and denial of medical care as a weapon during this barbaric aggression is a proven and complex war crime, and confirmation of its continuation of its greatest crime of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip,” the statement said.

The statement urged media outlets and activists to bring attention to the “humanitarian catastrophe and highlight the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip”.

“We also call on international and humanitarian organizations to take urgent action and provide the necessary food and humanitarian aid to our people in Gaza, and to intensify their efforts to force the occupation to bring in aid,” the media office asserted.

It also called on the international community, including the United Nations, to “intervene immediately”.

Israeli occupation forces launch ground, air attacks on Al-Mawasi tent city of displaced Palestinians in Rafa'h, casualties reported

GAZA, Thursday, June 13, 2024(WAFA) -

The occupation after midnight on Wednesday launched intensive air strikes and artillery bombardment, by air, land and sea, against the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafa'h city in the southern enclave, where thousands of internally displaced persons are seeking shelter.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime Navy boats also fired heavy machine guns into the western areas of Rafa'h.

Thousands of civilians are living under deplorable conditions in Al-Mawasi tent city. The United Nations and relief groups say "Muwasi – [an Israeli-designated safe zone] - is a poorly planned attempt to impose a solution for people who have been displaced, and they are dubious of the safety guarantee since Israeli airstrikes have targeted other areas where the army ordered people to go.”

The Mawasi, in the southern Rafa'h so-called “safe area”, was subjected to repeated Israeli military attacks, leaving dozens of casualties and destruction. Humanitarian conditions are extremely dire in the tent city of Al-Mawasi; a home for thousands of displaced people seeking refuge in the Israeli-declared safe zone.
