While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Abu Obayda urges pilgrims in Saudi Arabia to remember Gaza in their payers

Saturday 15-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Abu Obayda, spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades of 'Hamas, has called on Muslim pilgrims who are performing Hajj rituals in Saudi Arabia to remember their brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine during their prayers and great moments of worship at the holy sites.

“As the guests of the Most Merciful (Allah) are performing the Hajj, we are performing the duty of Jihad against the usurping occupation and enemies of God on behalf of the great Muslim nation,” spokesman Abu Obayda said in Telegram remarks on Saturday.

“"Al-Aqsa Flood" operation was launched for the third holy mosque (Al-Aqsa Mosque),” Abu Obayda underlined.

“The Hajj rituals are an opportunity to remind the nation of the two billion Muslims about the reality of our struggle against our enemy that violates the site of our Prophet’s journey to Jerusalem and desecrates it every day,” the spokesman added.

Palestinians in the coastal enclave of Gaza were not able to travel to Makkah in Saudi Arabia for Hajj this year because of Israel’s closure of the Rafa'h border crossing last May when its army invaded the Gaza Strip southern border area near Egypt.

The UN World Food Program (WFP) warns of imminent catastrophic levels of hunger in southern Gaza

Saturday 15-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The UN World Food Program (WFP) has expressed its fears that southern  Gaza could soon see the same catastrophic levels of hunger recorded previously in the north, warning that the situation in the south is quickly deteriorating.

“A million people have been pushed out of Rafa'h and are trapped in a highly congested area along the beach in the burning summer heat. We drove through rivers of sewage,” WFP deputy executive director, Carl Skau, said on Friday at the end of a two-day mission to the coastal enclave.

Skau said that there was some improvement in delivering aid supplies in northern  Gaza, but it stressed the need for sustaining and scaling up assistance in the area, calling access to clean water, healthcare, fuel for bakeries, and medical supplies “essential.”

The WFP official stressed that “more than anything people want this war to end, and so do we.”

He said WFP would now look at how to support the functioning of markets and also get cash to people so that they can begin to restore their lives.

“Emergency assistance is still critical, but we also need to start instilling some hope – by supporting bakeries and markets – and go beyond meeting food needs for survival to support water sanitation and basic health care needs,” he added.

“Only this way can we help restore a more dignified form of assistance that goes beyond meeting basic food needs. On my previous visit in November, the people I met were angry. Now they are exhausted and just wanted this war to end,” he said.

More than 2,000 academics in Germany demand resignation of Education Minister over Gaza

Saturday 15-June-2024

BERLIN, (PIC)

More than two thousand academics in Germany called on the Minister of Education and Scientific Research to resign from her position over her attempt to sanction scholars who supported pro-Palestinian students’ right to protest.

In an open letter published online on Friday, about 2,034 academics charged Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger of acting unconstitutionally.

The letter stated that the request to end the financial support contradicts all principles of constitutionally guaranteed freedom of academic education.

The academics said that cutting off support for free education and research because of political statements by researchers violates the constitution, stressing that ordering an investigation was “a sign of constitutional ignorance” and “a political abuse of power.”

“The mere appearance of state restrictions on free public debate is damaging to our democratic society and to Germany’s reputation as a global scientific center,” the academics added in the letter.

Deputy government spokesman Wolfgang Buchner said, in a press conference in Berlin, that “the ministry does not comment on statements and letters open to the public.”

Many faculty members in Germany signed an open letter expressing dissatisfaction with police violence against students protesting in support of Palestine at the Free University of Berlin on May 7.

On Wednesday, local media reported that the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research had opened an investigation against the academics who signed the open letter.

The channel indicated that the ministry would study the possibility of cutting the funding granted to the aforementioned academics.

The G7 also stressed the urgent need for “a significant and sustained increase in the flow of humanitarian assistance throughout Gaza, and an enduring end to the crisis, with Israel’s security interests and safety for Palestinian civilians in Gaza assured.”

On the other hand, the G7 welcomed UN Security Council Resolution S/RES/2735 (2024).

Copenhagen Municipality to divest from companies linked to the illegal Israeli settlements

COPENHAGEN, Saturday, June 15, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Copenhagen Municipality has decided to divest from companies linked to the illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, reported Danish news agency Ritzau.

The finance section of the city government took the decision after a vote of 9 to 2 in favor of cutting the investments. The Social Democrats, Red-Green Alliance and Social Liberals voted in favor, with the Conservatives and Liberal Alliance voting against.

The Copenhagen Municipality will now sell investments in companies including Airbnb, Expedia Group and Booking.com owner Booking Holdings. The companies are included on a UN list of businesses with links to Israeli colonies on territories such as the West Bank.

Last week, according to Anadolu Agency, Copenhagen Mayor Sophie Haestorp Andersen in a statement said: “As a large investor, we have a responsibility for things like human rights. That's why I don't think we should invest in companies that have to do with illegal settlements.”

Earlier, the University of Copenhagen in Denmark announced that it would be withdrawing investments from three companies that operate in occupied Palestinian territories in response to students’ demands in encampments at the main campus.

WHO concerned about escalating health crisis in the West Bank

RAMALLAH, Saturday, June 15, 2024 (WAFA) –

WHO remains concerned about the escalating health crisis in the occupied Palestinian territory, including the West Bank, where attacks on health infrastructure and increased restrictions on movement are obstructing access to health care.

Since the start of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, 546 civilians have been killed in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), including 133 children. In addition, over 5200 people, 800 of them children, have been injured, adding to the growing burden of trauma and emergency care at already strained health facilities.

As of 28 May, WHO has documented 480 attacks on health care in the West Bank since  October 7,  resulting in the killing of  16 people and the injury of 95 others. The attacks affected 54 health facilities, 20 mobile clinics and 319 ambulances. Fifty-nine percent of the attacks occurred in the cities of Toulkarm, Jineen, and Nablus. They include attacks on health infrastructure and ambulances, detention of health workers and patients, obstruction of their access to health facilities, use of force on health workers and militarized searches of ambulances and staff.

The closure of checkpoints, arbitrary obstructions, and detentions of health workers, rising insecurity, as well as the siege and closure of entire towns and communities has made movement within the West Bank increasingly restricted, impeding access to health facilities. Extensive infrastructure and housing damage, particularly in the northern West Bank, have compounded the situation by obstructing access for ambulances and first-aid responders.

The long-standing fiscal crisis faced by the Palestinian Authority (PA) is further impacting the health system and has been worsened by Israel’s increased withholding of tax revenues meant for the occupied Palestinian territory since  October7, and the overall deterioration of the economic situation in occupied Palestinian territory. The impact of the financial situation on health service delivery is significant – with health workers receiving only half of their salary for nearly a year and 45% of essential medications being out of stock.

In most areas of the West Bank, primary care clinics and outpatient specialty clinics are now operating two days per week, and hospitals are operating at approximately 70% capacity.

WHO called for the immediate and active protection of civilians and health care in the West Bank.

Rescue teams retrieve nine bodies of Palestinian victims who were killed by Israeli genocidal bombardment on Rafah

GAZA, Saturday, June 15, 2024 (WAFA) –

Rescue teams today retrieved the bodies of nine Palestinians from various parts of Rafa'h in the southern war-torn Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

Medical sources at the European Hospital in Khan Younus said that the bodies of nine people retrieved from the rubble of houses bombarded by the Israeli occupation forces across Rafa'h arrived at the hospital.

Since Saturday dawn, 19 Palestinians were killed and at least 50 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes that targeted three houses in the Shuja'iyya and Al-Tuffa'h neighborhoods, east of Gaza, at a time when Israeli artillery intensified shelling of the areas west of Rafa'h.

Tried before the International Court of Justice for genocide against Palestinians, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 37,266 Palestinians and injuring over 85,102 others.

Moreover, approximately 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Israeli occupation forces detain five Palestinians from West Bank

NABLUS, Saturday, June 15, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces today detained at least five Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank, according to security and local sources.

They said that the occupation forces rounded up two Palestinians and ransacked the houses of their families in the town of Baita, south of Nablus.

The gun-toting soldiers muscled inside scores of houses, conducted thorough searches and interrogated the occupants, triggering confrontations in the town.

Meanwhile, the sources confirmed similar Israeli army raids into the towns of Sibestya, Bait 'Imeen and Nisf Jubail, all located to the northwest of Nablus. However, none was detained.

Earlier today, in Ramallah district, the occupation forces stormed Al-Jalazoan refugee camp, north of Ramallah, and detained a Palestinian, identified as a resident of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli troops detained a Palestinian from the Ramallah city neighborhood of al-Masayif.

In Hebron district, forces detained a Palestinian woman and seized her vehicle in the town of Bait Ummar.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

The statement did not specify the severity of the soldier’s injuries.

The military further noted: “Forces chased with the perpetrator, and details of the incident are under investigation.”

Tensions have been running high across the West Bank since the Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces launched a deadly military offensive against the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023.

At least 543 Palestinians have since been killed and nearly 5,200 others injured by the Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers in the West Bank.

Several Palestinian civilians suffocate in an Israeli occupation army raid, west of Jineen

JENIN, Saturday, June 15, 2024 (WAFA) –

Several Palestinians overnight suffocated in an Israeli occupation army raid into the village of Rummana, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, according to security sources.

They said that the occupation forces barged their way into the village, sparking confrontations with local youths who attempted to block their entry.

The gun-toting soldiers opened volleys of concussion grenades and tear gas canisters towards the villagers, causing several to suffocate from excessive tear gas inhalation.

They also opened fire at the local mosque, damaging its windows.

The sources confirmed similar raids into the villages and towns of Fandaqoumiya, Ya'bad, Tura, 'Arraba, Silat Al-Dthahr, Zubouba, Jalboun and Fa'hma in the Jineen district.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces predawn Saturday ransacked several houses in Kafr Dan town, west of Jineen, triggering confrontations.

The Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
