While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

UN Official: The bombing turned Gaza into hell on Earth

Monday 17-June-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Martin Griffiths, affirmed on Monday that the Israeli bombing of Gaza since October 7th last year has turned the besieged enclave into a hell on earth.

Griffiths said that delivering humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip, who are on the verge of famine, is almost impossible, noting that civilians and infrastructure have suffered excessive damage, and there is politicization of aid, amidst the spread of hunger and disease. He pointed out that humanitarian workers and the United Nations in Gaza have been killed in unreasonable numbers.

The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs explained that weapons have continued to flow to Israel from Washington and other countries, despite the horrific impact of the war on civilians in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), told journalists in Oslo on Monday that hostilities are continuing in Rafa'h and southern Gaza Strip, despite the Israeli occupation army’s announcement yesterday of a tactical pause in operations to allow the entry of humanitarian aid.

Lazzarini said in a press conference, “There is information that this decision has been taken, but the political level says that nothing of the sort has been done.” He added, “So at the moment, I can tell you that hostilities are continuing in Rafa'h and southern Gaza. Operationally, nothing has changed so far.”

The UN official later told Reuters that UNRWA, the main organization delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, had received a notification from the Israeli occupation army that there would be a pause in fighting, but it was only in English, and was quickly followed by a denial from the government. He added, “At the moment, I don’t see anything that can be described as a temporary cease-fire.”

The Israeli occupation army had earlier this week announced a daily suspension of fighting from 5:00 to 16:00 GMT in the area extending from the Karm Abu Salim crossing in the south of the Strip to the Sala'huddeen Road and then northward. It later explained that its military operations would continue in Rafa'h.

Israeli closure of Gaza crossings enters day 43

Monday 17-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

For the 43rd day running, the Israeli occupation army continues to occupy and close the Gaza border crossings and prevent the travel of sick and wounded civilians and the entry of any aid shipments through them.

The Israeli army has been closing the Gaza crossings, especially the Karam Abu Salim and Rafa'h terminals, since its forces invaded Rafa'h in southern Gaza on May 6.

Many local and international humanitarian organizations have warned recently against the continued closure of Gaza crossings, and called for necessarily opening them to prevent the occurrence of famine and save the lives of thousands of patients and wounded civilians, who need medical treatment abroad.

Gaza: 151 journalists killed during Israel’s war on Gaza

Monday 17-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in the Gaza Strip has said that the number of the Palestinian journalists and media workers who were killed during the ongoing Israeli war has climbed to 151 martyrs.

In a brief statement on Monday, PGMO said that journalist Mu'hammed Qasim, who works for Palestine newspaper and its website, was martyred in an Israeli attack, without providing further details.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed two massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 10 civilians and injuring over 73 others.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 37,347 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 85,372 people.

PGMO: The alleged tactical pause in southern Gaza Strip is an Israeli lie

Monday 17-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) described the alleged tactical ceasefire in southern Gaza in order to allow humanitarian aid deliveries as an “Israeli lie.”

“The situation in the northern Gaza Strip is catastrophic in light of shortages of food and medicines, and we still call for the opening of the Rafa'h border crossing to provide the population with their needs, especially those in the northern Gaza Strip,” PGMO said in a statement on Monday.

PGMO pointed out that the Israeli occupation army had killed over 16,000 children during its ongoing war on Gaza, and recently destroyed the passenger waiting halls at the Rafa'h crossing.

The Israeli army claimed Sunday that it would pause fighting throughout daytime hours along a road in southern Gaza to allow UN agencies to deliver humanitarian aid.

However, it added that the pause should not be seen as a cessation of its attacks in southern Gaza.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 37,347 martyrs

Monday 17-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed two massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 10 civilians and injuring over 73 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 83 of them, including 10 martyrs, were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 37,347 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 85,372 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian vehicles near Nablus with stones

NABLUS, Monday, June 17, 2024 (WAFA) -

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers tonight pelted stones at Palestinian residents’ vehicles in the town of 'Huwwara, south of Nablus, according to local sources.

Sources reported that several colonists threw stones at citizens' vehicles at Salman al-Farsi roundabout and 'Huwwara’s main street.

'Huwwara’s main street is subjected to frequent assaults and attacks by Israeli colonists.

Settlers’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians, including the destruction of homes and properties, has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.

Illegal Israeli extremist settlers set up structures on Palestinian land east of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), a prelude for takeover

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Monday, June 17, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli extremist settlers tonight set up caravans and other structures on the territory of the town of Bani Na’eem, east of Hebron.

WAFA correspondent said that armed groups of colonists set up wooden and tin sheds and residential caravans on a plot of land belonging to Bani Na’eem town, in an apparent prelude to taking over the land for the benefit of colonial expansion.

More than 700,000 illegal Israeli settlers currently reside in illegal West Bank settlements.

The establishment of the settlements contravenes international humanitarian law (IHL), which states that an occupying power may not relocate its own citizens to the occupied territory or make permanent changes to that territory unless these are needed for imperative military needs, in the narrow sense of the term, or undertaken for the benefit of the local population, said B’Tselem, the Israeli human rights organization.
