While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

'Hamas values new UN report on Israeli war crimes in Gaza

Wednesday 19-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has said that the new report on Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip that was released by the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory has confirmed that Israel’s crimes and violations against the Palestinian people are unjustified and only aimed at ethnically cleansing and displacing them.

“While we appreciate the international efforts to document the occupation’s crimes, condemn its violations and achieve international justice, we regret that the victim is equated with the executioner,” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday.

'Hamas, however, criticized the UN for repeating Israel’s lies against the Palestinian resistance, pointing out that several independent reports and investigations already affirmed that such Israeli claims were untrue.

The Movement urged the international community, the UN and all human rights groups to work on stopping Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people and support the efforts being made by the International Court of Justice to hold Israeli leaders accountable for their crimes in Gaza.

Navi Pillay, chairperson of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, said on Wednesday that “Israel has committed crimes against humanity, forced starvation, extermination, murder, and inhuman and cruel treatment of Palestinians.”

'Hamas: The Rafa'h crossing will remain under Palestinian-Egyptian control

Wednesday 19-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement denounced the Israeli destruction of the Palestinian side of the Rafa'h border crossing on Wednesday as “criminal behavior” that “will not change the crossing’s reality.”

“It is an act of terrorism by the occupying Israeli army to destroy the Rafa'h crossing with all its buildings and facilities, an escalation of crimes and violations against our people,” said the Palestinian resistance Movement.

It said that the Israeli occupation army is attempting “to isolate Gaza from the world and perpetuate the destruction of life-sustaining infrastructure,” describing the attempt as “fascist”.

'Hamas said the crossing would remain a Palestinian-Egyptian crossing. “This is a criminal behavior, but it will not change the crossing’s reality.”

'Hamas noted that the crossing will “be rehabilitated under a Palestinian initiative once the Israeli occupation forces are ousted out and aggression against Gaza ceases.”

Israeli occupation apartheid regime army spokesman says 'Hamas can’t be eliminated

Wednesday 19-June-2024

NAZARETH, (PIC)

Israel’s top army spokesman Rear Admiral, Daniel Hagari, said Wednesday that the 'Hamas Movement cannot be eliminated.

“To say that we are going to make 'Hamas disappear is to throw sand in people’s eyes. If we don’t provide an alternative, in the end, we will (still) have Hamas,” Hagari told Israel’s Channel 13 broadcaster.

“'Hamas is an idea. Those who think it can be made to disappear are wrong,” Hagari said, adding that anyone promising this is “misleading the public.”

“'Hamas is an ideology, we cannot eliminate an ideology,” he said.

The Israeli genocidal war turned Gaza residential neighborhoods into 39 million tons of debris

Wednesday 19-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The UN Environment Program (UNEP) said that the ongoing Israeli attacks on residential areas in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, have left 39 million tons of debris.

This came in a report published by UNEP on Tuesday regarding the environmental impact of Israeli attacks on Gaza.

The UNEP stressed that the war environmental impacts on Gaza have reached unprecedented levels of soil, water, and air pollution.

The ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year has left 39 million tons of rubble, equivalent to 107 kilograms of debris per square meter in Gaza, the report explained.

It called for an immediate ceasefire to save peoples’ lives and to reduce the impact on the environment, pointing out that water, sanitation, and hygiene systems are now almost entirely defunct, warning that wastewater began to mix with sea water, soil, drinking water and even food.

The UN report elaborated that using explosive weapons in densely populated areas in Gaza has led to the pollution of soil and water resources, stressing the high risk of leakage of heavy metals as a result of damaged solar panels.

UN rights chief sounds alarm over “unconscionable death and suffering” in Gaza

Wednesday 19-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

UN high commissioner for human rights Volker Turk has raised the alarm over “unconscionable death and suffering” of Palestinians under Israel’s relentless attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Addressing the UN Human Rights Council on Tuesday, Turk decried the Israeli escalating attacks in both Gaza and the occupied West Bank. “Israel’s relentless strikes in Gaza are causing immense suffering and widespread destruction, and the arbitrary denial and obstruction of humanitarian aid have continued.”

“More than 120,000 people in Gaza, overwhelmingly women and children, have been killed or injured since 7 October, as a result of the intensive Israeli offensives,” the UN official said.

In addition to those maimed or killed by intense Israeli bombardment, Turk pointed out that since Israeli forces escalated operations in Rafa'h in early May, almost one million Palestinians have been displaced yet again, while aid deliveries have been squeezed, affecting humanitarian access even further.

“Israel continues to detain arbitrarily thousands of Palestinians. This must end,” the UN rights chief added.

Turk said he was “appalled by the disregard for international human rights and humanitarian law.”

Turk warned of the “dramatically deteriorating” situation in the occupied West Bank, including east Jerusalem, where Palestinians are exposed to growing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers.

According to Turk, 528 Palestinians, 133 of them children, had been killed by Israeli occupation forces or settlers in the West Bank since October.

'Hamas calls for an end to the Israeli crimes of starvation and genocide in Gaza

Wednesday 19-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement warned of “the continuation of the criminal war of starvation waged by the terrorist occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip, including children, women, and the elderly,” stressing “the escalating manifestations of famine and humanitarian catastrophe, especially in the Gaza and North Gaza governorates.”

It said, “The Nazi occupation government is practicing the ugliest forms of collective punishment against defenseless civilians, by imposing a tight siege on the Gaza Strip, closing the border crossings, and preventing aid convoys from entering the Strip.”

The occupation continues “to systematically starve more than two million people, who lack the most necessities of life, and are subjected to continuous brutal massacres,” Hamas added.

It pointed out, “The United Nations and the international community must take immediate action to provide relief to our people in the Gaza Strip.”

The Movement called for an end to the Israeli crimes of starvation and genocide against the Palestinian people.

In addition, Hamas made a call to the governments, people, and Arab and Islamic nations to exert pressure on Israel to open the borders, allow convoys to enter the Gaza Strip, and resist Zionist efforts to liquidate the Palestinian cause.

On June 19, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on Gaza Strip resulted in 3 massacres, which resulted in the killing of 24 Palestinian civilians, and the injury of 71 others, in the past 24 hours. Gaza death toll nears 37,400 as Israel continues onslaught

24 killed, 71 injured in Israeli attacks in last 24 hours, Palestinian Health Ministry says

Rania Abushamala  |19.06.2024 -

Istanbul --

The dead and wounded, including children, are brought to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after Israeli attacks on Al-Nusayrat Refugee Camp in Dair El-Bala'h, Gaza on June 16, 2024.

Gaza’s death toll from Israel’s ongoing offensive has surged to 37,396, the Health Ministry in the besieged enclave said on Wednesday.

At least 85,523 people have also been injured in the onslaught, the ministry added in a statement.

“Israeli forces killed 24 people and injured 71 others in five ‘massacres’ against families in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said.

“Many people are still trapped under rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

Flouting a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire, Israel has faced international condemnation amid its continued brutal offensive on Gaza since an Oct. 7, 2023 attack by Hamas.

Over eight months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lay in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.

Israel stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered Tel Aviv to immediately halt its operation in Rafah, where over a million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 257

Wednesday 19-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 257 on Wednesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, at least seven civilians were martyred and others were injured when the Israeli army bombed tents sheltering families in Al-Shakoush area in the southwest of Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

Casualties, including martyrs, were reportedly following an Israeli attack at dawn on tents sheltering families in the coastal area of Al-Mawasi in the northwest of Rafa'h.

In Gaza City, civil defense and medical crews evacuated bodies of six martyrs and a number of wounded civilians from Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood following an Israeli attack on a building belonging to the family of Abu Safiya last night.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

11 Palestinians killed in Israeli bombing in Gaza

GAZA, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 (WAFA) -

At least 11 Palestinians were Wednesday killed after they were targeted by a missile from an Israeli drone in Gaza City.

A medical source at Al-Ahly Al-Arabi Hospital said that two people were killed after they were targeted by a missile from an Israeli drone on Al-Sikka Street in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli occupation artillery shelling around Al-'Alam Roundabout, west of the city of Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of slain civilians in the city since dawn today to 23.

Local sources reported that the occupation destroyed more than 70% of the facilities and infrastructure of the city of Rafa'h, including burning and destroying all of the Rafa'h crossing halls and its facilities.

The occupation forces continue to close the crossing after they occupied the Palestinian side of it on May 7, the day after the start of their ground invasion of the city of Rafa'h.

By June 19, 2024, the number of civilians killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to more than 37,396, most of them children and women. At least 85,452 others have been wounded.

Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.

'Hamas accuses Israel army of assassinating doctor Iyad Al-Ranteesi

Wednesday 19-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has accused the Israeli occupation army of assassinating the Palestinian medical doctor Iyad Al-Ranteesi, saying he was killed subjected to torture a few days after he was kidnapped from a hospital in the Gaza Strip, in last November.

“The assassination of the Palestinian doctor Iyad Al-Ranteesi in an Israeli detention center, months after he was kidnapped along with hundreds of doctors and workers from hospitals and health centers by the terrorist occupation army, has confirmed further the criminal and barbaric nature of this fascist entity and its criminal behavior towards our people,” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday.

'Hamas also described Al-Ranteesi’s assassination as “part of the Israeli genocidal war that targeted all aspects of life in the Gaza Strip.”

'Hamas called for urgent international action to know the fate of hundreds of Gazans who were kidnaped by Israeli forces from hospitals and shelter centers, and work on having them released.

Al-Ranteesi died last November under interrogation by the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service, six days after his detention, the Haaretz news website reported on Tuesday.

Iyad Al-Ranteesi, 53, was the director of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in Bait Lahya, in the northern Gaza Strip.

“He was arrested November 11 and was declared dead six days later at Shikma prison, a Shin Bet interrogation facility,” Haaretz said.

“After Al-Ranteesi’s death, the Ashkelon magistrate’s court issued a six-month gag order prohibiting publication of all details of the case, including the existence of the gag order. The court order expired in May,” Haaretz added.
