Editor's Notes:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

PRCS says thousands of Palestinians in Gaza Strip face starvation, calls for opening crossings

Wednesday 26-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has said that thousands of Palestinian citizens in Gaza Strip are facing an imminent famine, calling for urgently opening the border crossings and allowing aid to flow into all areas of the war-torn coastal enclave.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Red Crescent said that the airdropped aid is not enough to reduce the high hunger levels among the population in Gaza.

RPCS affirmed that the Israeli army continues to target aid convoys and relief workers in Gaza.

A UN-backed group of experts said on Tuesday that the threat of famine in the Gaza Strip was revived after Israel’s military operation in the southern area of Rafah disrupted aid deliveries, leaving more than 500,000 Palestinians on the brink of starvation.

Palestinians throughout the Strip are now facing a “plausible” risk of famine in the coming months, according to the latest UN-partnered Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) analysis.

“A high risk of Famine persists as long as conflict continues, and humanitarian access is restricted,” the IPC report on hunger levels said.

IPC, an internationally recognized assessment method, uses a five-point scale to classify food insecurity. The highest is Phase 5: Catastrophe or Famine.

Phase 5 means people experience an extreme lack of food, starvation and exhaustion of coping capacities leading to malnutrition and mortality. Coping strategies include skipping meals, picking up trash to sell or exchanging clothes for money — something that more than half of the households in Gaza were forced to do in the past months in order to buy food, according to IPC.

Israeli Occupation Forces Dog Attack an Elderly Palestinian Woman Sparks Outrage

By Sara Zouiten, Morocco World News

Rabat, June 26, 2024 4:30 p.m.

The 66-year-old woman told Al Jazeera that Israeli forces unleashed the dog on her for refusing to vacate her house.

A disturbing leaked video came to light on Tuesday showing an Israeli police dog brutally attacking an elderly Palestinian woman inside her home during their raid of the Jabalya refugee camp several weeks ago.

The footage, which was obtained by Al Jazeera, has sparked social media fury and widespread condemnation. Captured from a camera mounted on the dog, the video showed the 66-year-old woman screaming in terror as she was viciously attacked.

The elderly woman, identified as Dawlat Al-Tanani, suffered severe injuries and fractures as a result of the brutal attack.

Speaking to Al Jazeera, she said that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOFs) unleashed the dog on her because she was resisting eviction from her home.

“I refuse to be forced out of my house, nor will I abandon my home. So the Israelis set a dog on me, which bit me while I was sleeping in my bed. It dragged me and pulled me all the way to the entrance door,” the elderly woman said.

“Now I have a serious injury. There are no hospitals or anything to treat my injury. My hand is still untreated,” she added.

The incident has reinforced accusations against the IOFs of perpetrating severe forms of torture and violence against civilians, contrasting sharply with its self-proclaimed status as “the most moral army in the world.”

Social media users have widely shared the video, expressing shock for the extent the IOF goes to inflict pain and suffering on Palestinians.

Many activists have pointed out that such actions, including the use of police dogs against civilians, have been a longstanding practice by the Israeli forces.

“Israel/Zionist Occupiers brutality clearly has no limits…training dogs to rape and attack Palestinians. The daily massacres (are) getting (more) gruesome by the day,” said one social media user.

Viral footage shows Israeli police dog attacking elderly woman in Gaza

Wednesday 26-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

A recent footage that went viral shows a brutal attack by a trained police dog belonging to the Israeli occupation army on an elderly Palestinian woman (Dawlat Al-Tanani), after storming her house in Jabalya, north of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Jazeera satellite channel published leaked video clips obtained from a camera that was installed on a police dog, showing the moment it attacked the elderly woman.

The footage shows a brutal and prolonged assault by a police dog accompanying an Israeli occupation force on the elderly woman inside her house which she has been refusing to leave since the start of the aggression on Gaza.

The dog viciously mauled the elderly woman’s body, causing her bleeding and fractures.

The woman who was attacked told Al-Jazeera that the soldiers released the dog on her while she was sleeping in her home, explaining that during the attack she suffered very serious injuries and fractures.

The use of trained police dogs has been documented in Israeli occupation army’s aggression on Gaza where police dogs appeared in many scenes, storming homes and tunnels and attacking civilians.

'Hamas calls for confronting the Israeli demolition spree in the West Bank

Wednesday 26-June-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

'Hamas Movement called for confronting the demolition policy pursued by the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) against Palestinian homes in the West Bank.

In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas said that the escalation of the IOA home demolition operations in the West Bank and Jerusalem, with 21 demolition operations carried out that today, including eleven homes and facilities in the village of Umm Al-Khair in Masafir Yatta in Al-Khaleel (Hebron) governorate, in addition to the demolition of dozens of homes and facilities in the recent days, is a “full-fledged crime”.

'Hamas added that this crime is an extension of the criminal war being waged by the illegal Israeli extremist settler government against the Palestinian people and their presence on their land, while it continues its settlement expansion and support for settler attacks and assaults on Palestinian villages and towns in the West Bank.

'Hamas called on the Palestinians in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) to continue to confront the criminal policies of the occupation, including demolitions, incursions, killings, arrests, and attacks by terrorist settler hordes, and to escalate the state of confrontation with this fascist enemy, “until its removal from our land and our sanctities.”

'Hamas also called on the international community and the United Nations to assume their responsibilities and take immediate action to compel the criminal occupation government to stop its violations and terrorism against the Palestinian people.

IOFs carry out 21 demolition operations in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Wednesday 26-June-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out on Wednesday 21 house demolition operations in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), in addition to a house in 1948 occupied Palestine.

The IOFs demolished four houses east of the city of Aree'ha (Jericho) under the pretext of lacking construction permits.

In the town of Bitello, west of Ramallah, Israeli bulldozers knocked down a house that belongs to citizen Mu'hammed Wajeeh Bazar, which consisted of three floors, each of which was about 200 square meters in area.

Meanwhile, Israeli municipality teams in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) demolished a house owned by the Palestinian Abu Subai'h family in Wadi Qaddoum neighborhood in the town of Silwan.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the IOFs razed 11 houses and other facilities for Al-'Hathaleen family in Um Al-Khair community in Masafir Yatta, south of the city.

In the city of Kafr Qara, within the territories of 1948 Occupied Palestine, Israeli bulldozers demolished an under-construction house for lacking a construction permit.

During the past month of May alone, Israeli occupation authorities carried out 47 demolition operations in the West Bank, affecting 66 facilities, including 35 inhabited homes, five uninhabited houses, and 15 agricultural and other facilities.

As part of the Israeli displacement and settlement plans, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime has further escalated its home demolition and displacement policy in the West Bank, Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem, and the 1948 occupied territories since the start of the Israel bloody genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

'Hamas calls for holding Israeli leaders accountable for crimes of torture against prisoners

Wednesday 26-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement called for holding Israeli leaders accountable for committing torture crimes against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, and pushing by all means for releasing them immediately.

This came in a statement by Hamas on Wednesday, on the occasion of the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, which is celebrated by the United Nations and the international community.

Hamas indicated that Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails have been subjected to the worst forms of brutal revenge, including starvation, humiliation, abuse, deliberate medical neglect, deprivation of food and medicine, breaking prisoners’ limbs, slow killing, and field executions.

The statement revealed that the number of martyrs who have died due to torture in Israeli prisons since the start of the genocidal aggression on the Strip on October 7 last year reached about 60 detainees, including 40 prisoners from the Gaza Strip.

'Hamas underscored that torture crimes are committed as part of the Israeli punishment policy pursued against Palestinian prisoners.

Torturing prisoners represents a blatant violation and clear ignorance of all international conventions, laws, and norms, 'Hamas added.

The Movement called for exerting international pressure to oblige Israel to allow families to visit their imprisoned relatives, and to allow visits by human rights and humanitarian organizations to check on the prisoners and inform about their detention conditions.

Israel continues to deliberately bomb UN-run shelter centers, killing the displaced people

Wednesday 26-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said that Israel has implemented a systematic policy of targeting civilians of the Gaza Strip, who are protected by international humanitarian law.

The Euro-Med explained in a statement on Tuesday that this includes intensifying the bombing of shelter centers over the heads of the displaced people inside, as well as targeting areas designated as humanitarian zones, as part of the ongoing crime of genocide it has been committing since 7 October 2023.

It added that the Israeli occupation army has been killing large numbers of Palestinians in the Strip for nearly nine months now by bombing civilian targets, attacking United Nations-run shelter centers, and carrying out mass killings—each of which is a serious violation of international law on its own.

By targeting UNRWA schools functioning as shelter centers, Israeli bombing tactics demonstrate a deliberate policy intended to prevent security across the entire Gaza Strip and deny displaced Palestinians stability or shelter, even if that shelter is only temporary, the Euro-Med underlined.

Four Israeli attacks against shelter centers have been reported since dawn Tuesday 25 June, in addition to the demolishing of several homes on top of their occupants, it added.

This morning, Israeli warplanes bombed the Abdul Fatta'h 'Hammoud School in central Gaza, killing eight displaced people, all of whom were members of the Al-Jarro family, the statement highlighted.

Eleven additional displaced people—including five women and four children—were killed at dawn when Israeli aircraft bombed the UNRWA-run “Asmaa C” school, which is home to refugees in Al-Shati camp near Gaza City, the human rights group stated.

The Euro-Med listed the most recent crimes of the Israeli occupation army that have been committed against civilians in the Strip, underscoring that apart from targeting refuge centers, Israeli warplanes bombed at least 12 houses in different areas of the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours. As a result, many people have been killed and injured, some of whom are still under the rubble.

Targeting shelter centers flying the UN flag and homes housing displaced persons, as well as eliminating entire families, confirms that the Israeli military is continuing to violate the principles of distinction, necessity, proportionality, and is refusing to take any precautions to prevent civilian deaths, the Euro-Med said.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor emphasized that there is no legal or moral justification for this violence, which is clearly part of a series of Israeli operations that deliberately use firepower to inflict grave harm on vulnerable Palestinian civilians, destroying many of their lives.

Alongside political incitement and administrative and legislative actions by Israeli officials aimed at undermining the UN agency’s work in the Gaza Strip, the repeated attacks on United Nations buildings, which result in the deaths of internally displaced people as well as the inhumane destruction and burning of their bodies, constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and war crimes in and of themselves.

All UNRWA schools’ shelter centers were set on fire and destroyed by Israeli forces during last month’s invasion of Jabalya and its refugee camp.

According to UNRWA, Israeli forces have bombed more than 190 UNRWA buildings over the past eight months, and killed more than 460 displaced people as a result, even though UNRWA shares the coordinates of all its facilities (including this school) with the Israeli army and other parties to the conflict.

Civilians in Rafa'h are paying a heavy price for Israeli military attacks that seriously violate the rules of international humanitarian law, especially the principles of distinction, proportionality, and military necessity.

The Euro-Med said all nations are required to fulfill their international obligations by enacting strong sanctions against Israel and severing all other types of political, financial, and military support and cooperation, stressing that this includes immediately halting arms transfers to Israel, including export permits and military aid; otherwise, these nations will be held accountable for the crimes that have been committed in the Gaza Strip, including genocide.

Additionally, it urged the International Criminal Court to keep looking into any and all crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip, broaden its investigation into criminal responsibility in order to hold all perpetrators accountable, issue arrest warrants for those responsible, and acknowledge and address Israel’s crimes in the Strip as they are international crimes that fall under the purview of the International Criminal Court and are clearly crimes of genocide.

PGMO warns against Israeli messages calling for returning to northern Gaza

Wednesday 26-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (GMO) has warned of responding to suspicious Israeli phone messages calling on Gazan families to return to their homes in the north.

In a statement on Wednesday, PGMO said that some activists talked on social media about phone messages sent by the Israeli occupation army to a number of Gazans urging them to return to their homes in Gaza City and northern Gaza in the evening hours through its checkpoint on the coastal al-Rashid road.

The PGMO called on the citizens to treat such untrustworthy messages and contacts from the Israeli army with extreme caution.

The PGMO recalled similar incidents in which the Israeli army attacked displaced citizens as they tried to return to the northern areas, killing and injuring a number of them.

UN humanitarian worker describes suffering she witnessed in Gaza

Wednesday 26-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Speaking to journalists in Geneva following a three-month stint in the besieged territory, Yasmina Guerda of the UN humanitarian agency OCHA described children who lost limbs in Israel’s attack on Al-Nusayrat refugee camp earlier this month that killed at least 274 people and injured more than 700.

“Many of whom reminded me of my own two little toddlers. They were staring into the void, too shell-shocked to produce a sound or a tear,” she said.

For Guerda, there are no “living conditions” in the Gaza Strip.

“What they have … are survival conditions, and barely. They are holding on by a thread.”

She said aid workers were trying to “quantify the suffering with figures”, looking at the total number of displaced people, the liters of water they get per day, or the truckloads of aid that make it across the border.

She pointed out that more than 200 humanitarian relief workers have been killed in Gaza since October 7.

“But it doesn’t matter,” she said. “Those numbers, they’re never near enough … [for] a population that has lost nearly everything.”

“There are no safe centimeters left in Gaza,” Guerda said.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 37,718 martyrs

Wednesday 26-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 60 civilians and injuring over 140 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 200 of them, including 60 martyrs, were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 37,718 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 86,377 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

US-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip enters Day 264

Wednesday 26-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 264 on Wednesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, the Israeli army attacked a group of citizens in Al-Jurn area in northern Gaza as they gathered at an internet access point, killing and injuring a number of them.

A citizen and his grandmother were martyred in an Israeli attack in Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younus in southern Gaza.

Other citizens were reportedly injured in several Israeli attacks on homes in Khuza’a town.

Civil defense and medical crews also evacuated at least 15 martyrs and a number of wounded civilians following an Israeli attack on a house belonging to the family of Abu 'Awwad in Bait Lahya, north of Gaza.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Israeli bombardment on Jabalya refugee camp kills eight Palestinians, injures others

GAZA, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli bombardment on the Jabalya refugee camp, north of Gaza city, Wednesday evening killed eight Palestinians and injured others, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli occupation forces targeted Al-'Alami area in the camp, the largest of the Gaza Strip's eight refugee camps, resulting in the killing of at least eight people and injuring others.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in a complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), that ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 37,718 Palestinians and injuring over 86,377 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the Palestinian border with Egypt, in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

NABLUS, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces today blocked several minor roads in the Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya village, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that the occupation soldiers used bulldozers to seal off three minor roads in the village with earth mounds; one is used as an alternative access road for vehicles and the other two are used by farmers to access their cultivated lands.

He added that since October 2023, the occupation forces have blocked the main access road of the village and over 10 minor roads, and dug over 500-meter-lomg of the as-Sahel area in the village, forcing the villagers to take much longer roads to reach their destinations.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces severely restrict Palestinians’ freedom of movement through a complex combination of over 100 fixed checkpoints, flying checkpoints, settler-only roads and various other physical obstructions.

Closures besides to other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 57-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.

IOFs demolish two Palestinian homes in West Bank

Wednesday 26-June-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) demolished two Palestinian homes in Ramallah and Jericho on Wednesday morning as part of the escalating Israeli repressive measures against the Palestinians and their property in the West Bank.

Local sources said that IOFs tore down a house in Baitillu village in western Ramallah at the pretext of unlicensed construction and razed another house in Jericho for the same reason.

IOFs had demolished a house in a village in al-Khalil on Monday and two others in Bethlehem for the same reason, building without permit.

The IOFs demolition of Palestinian homes aims at forcing Palestinians to leave their land and make way for the expansion of illegal Jewish-only settlements in Palestinian lands.
