While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Palestinian Health Ministry: No room for more wounded persons at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital

Wednesday 5-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, which is located in Dair El-Bala'h Governorate, in central Gaza Strip, is the only hospital providing health services to more than one million people.

The Ministry explained in a statement on Tuesday that the hospital’s clinical capacity cannot bear to receive more martyrs and injuries in light of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinian civilian population because of severe shortage of supplies and personnel.

It called on the World Health Organization (WHO) and all international organizations to “investigate the dangerous health situation at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.”

The ministry also urged “the international community and all international and UN organizations to immediately and urgently deploy field hospitals and medical teams to save the health situation in the Gaza Strip and to control the situations of dozens of thousands of wounded and injured people who are at risk of death.”

The Israeli occupation army has been waging, since October 7 last year, a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip, with the US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of 36,550 people, and the injury of 82,959 others, in addition to the displacement of about 1.7 million residents of the Strip, according to UN data.

Israel-Controlled U.S. lawmakers vote to sanction ICC after prosecutor seeks warrant for Israel's Netanyahu

WASHINGTON, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 (WAFA) –

The (Israel-controlled) US House of Representatives has voted to impose sanctions against the International Criminal Court (ICC) in response to its chief prosecutor seeking arrest warrants against Israeli leaders.

The bill was passed along bipartisan lines in a 247-155 vote joined by 42 Democrats despite opposition from the White House.

The Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act would require mandatory sanctions and visa restrictions on any foreign person working or providing funds for the ICC in prosecutions against the US, Israel or any other US ally that is not party to the ICC.

The vote came after ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan last month recommended war crimes charges against Israeli leaders including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

The White House previously said it was "deeply concerned" about the ICC prosecutor’s application for arrest warrants against Israeli leaders but said the Biden administration "strongly opposes" the legislation.

"There are more effective ways to defend Israel, preserve U.S. positions on the ICC, and promote international justice and accountability, and the Administration stands ready to work with Congress on those options," it said in a statement Monday.

The bill is largely symbolic, since the US does not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC.

HRW says Israeli occupation forces dropped white phosphorus bombs on southern Lebanon

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces have used white phosphorus bombs in at least 17 municipalities across southern Lebanon, including populated residential areas, since October last year, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said on Wednesday.

“It verified the use of white phosphorus munitions by Israeli forces in at least 17 municipalities across south Lebanon since October 2023, including 5 municipalities where airburst munitions were unlawfully used over populated residential areas," HRW stated in a report.

It added that this illegal act has put civilian lives in grave risk.

The report said the use of white phosphorus also contributed to civilian displacement from their homes in southern Lebanon.

"Under international humanitarian law, the use of airburst white phosphorus is unlawfully indiscriminate in populated areas," it warned.

"Israel’s widespread use of white phosphorus in south Lebanon highlights the need for stronger international law on incendiary weapons," the international rights watchdog said.

Hamas calls on UN to blacklist Israel for crimes against children

Tuesday 4-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

On the International Day of Innocent Child Victims of Aggression, the 'Hamas Movement has called on the UN to include the Israeli occupation state in its blacklist of entities that target children with murder, torture, and displacement.

“This year’s International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression comes as the Zionist aggression against our Palestinian people continues in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). This has been ongoing for more than seven months,” Hamas said in a statement on Tuesday.

“During this period, this fascist entity has committed the most heinous crimes and horrific massacres against the Palestinian people, especially innocent children who have been and continue to be direct targets for this Nazi entity’s terrorism and crimes,” Hamas added.

“According to UN reports, one child is injured or killed every 10 minutes in Gaza. Additionally, the number of our people’s children who have martyred during the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip — which is estimated at more than 14,000 martyrs — exceeds those recorded over four years of global conflicts,” according to the Movement’s statement.

“In the fascist occupation’s jails, more than 200 Palestinian children, mostly school students, are exposed to the most brutal and hateful punitive and vengeful practices — including more than 20 children from the Gaza Strip. They are facing various forms of beatings, harsh interrogations, physical and psychological torture, daily maltreatment, deliberate medical neglect, and are also denied visits from their families, healthcare crews, and human rights groups,” the statement said.

'Hamas has called on the international community, countries, governments, and institutions concerned with children’s rights to assume their political and humanitarian responsibilities towards the children of Palestine and work on protecting them from Israel’s brutality and sadism and having them released from its jails.

The Movement also called for international action to stop and criminalize Israel’s aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people and their children and support their legitimate rights.

UNRWA: People in Gaza struggling to remain alive, suffering a severe shortage of fresh water

Wednesday 5-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

“With almost no fuel available in Gaza, critical desalination plants have shut down. People don’t have near enough water,” UNRWA said in a statement on X on Tuesday.

It added that “survival is a struggle. Families and children walk long distances in the heat for water. People need water to live – Israeli authorities must provide access now.”

The Israeli occupation army on 7 May occupied the Rafa'h border crossing between Gaza Strip and Egypt, which served as the main artery for humanitarian aid and for the travel of the wounded and sick out of the enclave for treatment.

Few quantities of fuel were supplied by international agencies over the past few months that could operate water desalination plants but now fuel has run out with no new shipments allowed into the besieged enclave.

'Hamas: The illegal Israeli settler march of flags in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) is “aggression against our people and holy sites”

Wednesday 5-June-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has condemned the Israeli flag march that was held today, Wednesday, in the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), as “aggression against the Palestinian people and their holy sites,” warning the occupation regime of persisting in “its criminal practices against the Aqsa Mosque.”

In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas said that the organization of the illegal Israeli settler march of flags under police protection in the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) reflected Israeli insistence on Judaizing the Palestinian holy places and provoking the feelings of hundreds of Muslims around the world.

'Hamas warned the Israeli occupation regime of persisting in its violations against the Palestinian holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa mosque, affirming that the resistance is still able to curb the Israeli occupation and its settlers in the West Bank.

'Hamas urged the Palestinian masses across the occupied territories to march en masse on Wednesday to Al-Aqsa Mosque to protect it against Israeli violations.

Scores of police officers were deployed in the holy city as flag-bearing settlers slowly began to gather early on Wednesday near Al-Aqsa Mosque compound to participate in the parade, which celebrates the Israeli capture and occupation of east Jerusalem in 1967.

Tens of thousands of Jewish settlers guarded by police forces reportedly participated in the march that saw physical and verbal attacks on Palestinian citizens in the Old City’s streets.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police also allowed many of the illegal Israeli settlers to bring and carry guns with them during the march.

Israeli occupation apartheid regime police officers were seen attacking Palestinian shopkeepers in the Muslim Quarter of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), while a Palestinian journalist in a flak jacket was attacked by a settler and required medical attention.

Other journalists were also met with a heavy-handed response from Israeli police officers.

The illegal Israeli settlers were also heard chanting “No more Al-Aqsa, no more children in Gaza” as their crowds moved through the Muslim Quarter.

Earlier in the morning, hundreds of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque and waved the Israeli occupation apartheid regime flags near its gates.

Euro-Med: Israeli occupation army expands its use of the quadcopters to kill more Palestinian civilians

Wednesday 5-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime has been ramping up its use of small drones, or quadcopters, to drop explosive bombs and “shoot to kill” more Palestinians, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said on Tuesday.

The Israeli occupation army uses electronically controlled quadcopter drones remotely for a variety of tasks, including espionage and surveillance, issuing displacement orders, frightening civilians with loud noises, and—most dangerously—using them as a weapon to kill and injure Palestinians, the rights group said.

According to Euro-Med, the Israeli army has increased the number of extrajudicial executions and premeditated killings of Palestinian civilians. Drones are being used for sniping and shooting operations in various areas of the Gaza Strip, and they are also being used to infiltrate homes and narrow alleyways. Meanwhile, the Israeli army has continued to kill Palestinians on a massively large scale by targeting residential areas with artillery and aerial strikes.

The Israeli occupation army has released a video documenting its use of these kinds of quadcopter aircraft to drop bombs on groups of people and houses while conducting military operations in the Gaza Strip.

The Geneva-based group revealed that Israeli occupation army forces deliberately targeted and executed Sala'h Mu'hammed A'hmad 'Oadah, 52, while she was trying to escape from the Jabalya refugee camp by raising a white flag. 'Oadah was killed due to direct fire from Israeli quadcopter aircraft on May 21 in front of her family.

These drones have killed dozens of civilians, as confirmed by Euro-Med Monitor in earlier reports, by firing automatic machine guns mounted beneath an aircraft at random gatherings, or shooting directly at people.

Since the beginning of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, dozens of Palestinian civilians have been killed or wounded by Israeli snipers and quadcopter drones, in addition to those killed during the Israeli army’s ground incursions, which began at the end of October 2023 and have intensified in recent weeks.

Israel has used quadcopter drones in a systematic and widespread manner lately to carry out extrajudicial executions and premeditated killings of Palestinian civilians, according to testimonies gathered by Euro-Med Monitor. These drones are used, in particular, against civilians who attempt to return and inspect their homes after the Israeli military retreats from areas it has attacked by land or air.

Given their constant presence in the air, these aircraft are also used to terrorize, intimidate, and negatively impact the psychological well-being of Palestinian civilians by making horrifying noises and broadcasting orders from Israeli soldiers.

Qatar: No clear position yet from Israel on its ceasefire proposal

Wednesday 5-June-2024

DOA'HA, (PIC)

Spokesman for Qatari foreign ministry, Majid Al-Ansari, said that Qatar received an Israeli proposal for a ceasefire deal “that reflects the principles laid out in US president Joe Biden’s speech” and delivered it to the 'Hamas Movement.

In a news conference on Tuesday, Spokesman Al-Ansari said that the proposal includes now positions from both sides that are closer than before, affirming that there are efforts underway to reach language that is agreed on by both parties.

“We are waiting for a clear Israeli position that represents the entire government in response to the US proposal over Gaza,” Ansari underlined.

“We have read and heard the contradictory remarks that were made by Israeli ministers in this regard, so we are confident that there is still no unified position in Israel regarding the current proposal on the table,” he added.

Osama 'Hamdan: Our prisoners are one of the most important headlines of Al-Aqsa Flood

Wednesday 5-June-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

Member of the 'Hamas Political Bureau, Osama 'Hamdan, said the Palestinian prisoners issue is one of the central national issues of the 'Hamas Movement and the Palestinian people.

It is a just humanitarian cause. We cannot accept their continued suffering and the Israeli escalation against them, he said in a press conference held in Beirut.

'Hamdan emphasized that “one of the main causes of all the uprisings and revolutions against the Zionist enemy was and still is the occupation’s horrifying crimes and systematic violations against both male and female prisoners in its prisons.”

He went on to say, “This criminal escalation is directed at Palestinian hostages and abductees from the Gaza Strip as well as prisoners and detainees from the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, all under the control of a Zionist government that is the most extreme and Nazi.

In addition, 'Hamdan brought up “the crime of Zionist-perpetrated enforced disappearance, the ongoing systematic suppression of information regarding the true state of Palestinian detainees, prisoners, and abductees from the Gaza Strip in its camps, detention facilities, and prisons since the start of Zionist aggression and genocidal warfare on the Gaza Strip on October 7.”

“What is being overlooked is the tragedy and suffering of Palestinian prisoners and detainees, which has been ongoing for 76 years and has intensified since October 7, 2023,” 'Hamdan stated. “This is in exchange for the US administration and some Western countries’ intense interest in the Israeli captives held by the resistance.”

He made notice of the fact that the Israeli occupation is still abusing its power and abducting people from the Gaza Strip, executing them in the open, torturing them both physically and psychologically, slow-killing them, denying them access to food and medicine, violating their most basic human rights, and abducting people from the Gaza Strip and holding them in detention centers.

He emphasized how terrible and heartbreaking the testimonies of those who have been released from the Gaza Strip are, detailing the atrocities and horrible crimes committed against them while they were being held in detention.

The Hamas official also pointed out that the number of Palestinian prisoners who lost their lives behind Israeli bars has risen unprecedentedly.

“Since October 7, 18 prisoners, from the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, have died in Israeli prisons, while 37 prisoners from the Gaza Strip died in Israeli detention camps.”

“Since October 7, there have been an unprecedented number of Zionist violations, resulting in approximately 9,500 Palestinian detainees. These individuals endure abhorrent conditions such as starvation, abuse, and the breaking of bones and limbs. Several of them have died as a result of torture, deliberate medical negligence, or deprivation of food and medicine.”

Occupation commits four massacres in Gaza over the past 24 hours

GAZA, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 (WAFA) -

The Israeli occupation army committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in the killing of 36 civilians and the injury of 115 others, according to medical sources.

The number of people killed since the onset of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023, has surged to 36,586, most of whom were children and women. The number of injured has so far reached 83,074.

Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams are facing difficulties in reaching them due to the relentless Israeli shelling.

Casualty data in Gaza are incomplete due to the intensive Israeli aggression, the repeated and complete interruption of communication and internet services, lack of fuel and devastated infrastructure, which render it difficult to document figures.

Israeli occupation forces and colonists bulldoze land, set fire to hundreds of dunums northwest of Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Wednesday, June 5, 2024 (EAFA) -

Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers today bulldozed Palestinian residents’ lands and set fire to a large number of fully-grown trees in the towns of Bait 'Ula and Tarqumiya, northwest of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Sulayman Ja'afra, an activist with the Wall and Colonies Resistance Committees told WAFA that groups of the illegal Israeli settlers from the illegal Israeli settlements of Adora and Telem set ablaze around 300 hundred dunums of land planted with fully grown olive and almond trees in the Al-Taybeh area, which is located adjacent to the said colonies. The lands belong to several Palestinian families in the area.

The illegal Israeli settlers also leveled privately-owned Palestinian land threatened with seizure by Israel in the Hardash area in Tarqoumia town. After the 7th of October, 2023, colonists placed several caravans on the threatened land as a prelude to establishing a colonial outpost there.

The activist indicated that such measures are aimed at seizing more Palestinian land for the benefit of expanding the said outpost.

Also in the town of 'Ula, bulldozers of the occupation forces leveled nearly 2.5 dunums of land owned by a local resident.

Forces cut down all the trees planted there and destroyed agricultural facilities, under the pretext of being located in area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control.

The land owner, Wa-il Farasha told WAFA correspondent that Israeli forces destroyed and vandalized his land, which he has been reclaiming and cultivating for years, despite obtaining a decision from the occupation court ordering the cessation of work on his land.

Nevertheless, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime did not comply with the court ruling and razed the land.
