While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

UNRWA warns of cholera outbreak in Gaza, due to the shortage of clean water and the high temperatures

Friday 7-June-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), warned on Thursday of “the possibility of a cholera outbreak in the Gaza Strip in light of clean water shortage and high temperatures.”

UNRWA explained in a post on X that “with minimal access to clean water in the Gaza Strip and extreme summer heat, there is a risk of disease outbreaks and drought.”

The UN agency added, “There is a real concern that cholera may become prevalent, further deteriorating inhumane living conditions”, stressing that “the people of Gaza need an immediate ceasefire.”

The Israeli genocide war on Gaza, which has been ongoing since October 7 last year, left more than 119,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 others missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens.

Guterres ‘personally devastated’ over inability of UN to safeguard staff in Gaza

Friday 7-June-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

UN Secretary-General António Guterres expressed his deep sadness for being unable to protect UNRWA employees in the Gaza Strip.

“I am personally devastated that despite our best efforts, we could not protect our personnel in Gaza,” he said in a somber ceremony at the UN headquarters in New York honoring the 188 personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2023.

Among them were 135 women and men who worked for the UNRWA, killed during the Israeli war on Gaza since October 7. Many were killed along with their families and within the communities they served.

“That is by far the highest number of our personnel killed in a single conflict or natural disaster since the creation of the United Nations – a reality we can never accept,” Guterres said.

He reiterated his call for “full accountability” for the deaths.

“We owe this to their family members and friends, to their colleagues, and to the world. Our UNRWA personnel lived and died as representatives of the international community in Gaza, and that community deserves an explanation.”

UN Secretary-General places Israel on blacklist for harm to children in conflict zones

RAMALLAH, Friday, June 7, 2024 (WAFA) –

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has informed Israel's Defense Attaché in the United States, Major General Hidai Zilberman, of his decision to finally include Israel in the blacklist of countries and organizations harming children in conflict zones. This list also features groups like ISIS, al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram.

According to a report published today by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel's extensive efforts to persuade Guterres to avoid this step have failed. Israel will appear on the blacklist set to be released next week in a report distributed to UN Security Council members, with a discussion scheduled for June 26.

Israeli Channel 13 confirmed on Thursday night that despite Israel's attempts to dissuade him, the UN Secretary-General has decided to proceed with this inclusion.

Last month, Yedioth Ahronoth and its online platform Ynet revealed genuine concerns within Israel about this move, following multiple critical statements from Guterres against Israel. The sources claimed that the current UN Secretary-General harbors a dislike for Israel and is beyond influence.

Israel has expressed fears that this inclusion could lead to an arms embargo against the country. The annual report, authored by UN Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict Virginia Gamba, will cover all of 2023, with a notable increase in incidents due to the war on Gaza that erupted in October.

Previously, the blacklist included countries like Afghanistan, Congo, Mali, Myanmar, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Syria, and organizations such as al-Qaeda, ISIS, al-Shabaab, and Boko Haram. The upcoming report will not explicitly name Israel or the Israeli military but will refer to Israeli security forces.

The data in the report is based on information from UN organizations and field sources. The daily noted that the consequences of being blacklisted include significant reputational damage to Israel as the report gains substantial international traction and is cited across UN bodies, including the General Assembly, Security Council, International Court of Justice, and International Criminal Court in The Hague.

Practically, inclusion on the blacklist results in dedicated reports concerning the listed entity. The Special Representative's office will compile specific reports on Israel, which will later be presented to the Security Council.

The draft report received by Israel months ago includes several criticisms, such as the use of large-scale bombs in occupied areas, severe blockades on Gaza, attacks on critical infrastructure, attempts to recruit minors as informants, and using children as human shields.

Since October, the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza has led to the murder of 36,654 Palestinians, including approximately 15,500 children and 10,300 women, with 83,309 injured, predominantly children and women. These numbers are not final, as thousands remain trapped under rubble or on the streets, with rescue teams unable to reach them due to Israeli military attacks.

'Hamas welcomes Spain’s announcement to join South Africa genocide case against Israel at the ICJ

Thursday 6-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement welcomed Spain’s announcement to join South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

'Hamas said, in a press statement on Thursday, “We welcome Spain’s move and appreciate its great role in achieving international justice by prosecuting the Israeli occupation for committing the most heinous crimes of genocide and crimes against humanity.”

'Hamas called on all states around the world to join South Africa’s genocide case against Israel which persists in killing Palestinians and committing genocide massacres, turning a blind eye to the ICJ’s precautionary resolutions.”

Earlier on Thursday, Spain’s foreign minister, Jose Manuel Albares, announced his country’s accession to South Africa’s genocide case against Israel.

“It seems that the implementation of the court’s precautionary measures against Israel is still far away,” Albares said in press remarks, elaborating that “Madrid intended to provide support to the work of the court.”

This makes Spain the second European country to join the ICJ’s genocide case after Ireland. It was also supported by Chile and Mexico.

Last December, South Africa filed a lawsuit before the ICJ against Israel for committing acts of genocide against Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli military court extends detention of journalist 'Hirzallah for five days

Friday 7-June-2024

NABLUS, (PIC)

An Israeli military court extended on Thursday the detention of the Palestinian journalist Rasha 'Hirzallah, of the Wafa news agency, for five more days in preparation for filing an indictment against her.

Israeli intelligence had served a summons to 'Hirzallah, 39, a few days ago for investigation on incitement charges on social media. She was then held for three days pending investigations.

'Hirzallah, a resident of Nablus in the West Bank, was held in Hasharon jail then later transferred to Damon jail, where most of the Palestinian female detainees are held.

'Hirzallah is one of 80 Palestinian journalists detained by Israel since October 7 last year, the start of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip. 49 of these journalists are still held in custody including six females.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime escalated the targeting of Palestinian journalists since the start of the aggression on Gaza and held many of them in administrative detention.

Human rights sources said that Israeli occupation forces rounded up 9,100 Palestinians in Gaza Strip and the West Bank since 7 October 2023.

PGMO lashes out at Israel’s assassination of Al-Nusayrat Mayor Iyad Al-Mughari

Friday 7-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinain Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza said the Israeli assassination of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp’s mayor “is a war crime aimed at creating chaos and doubling the humanitarian crisis.”

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime army committed a cowardly assassination of the mayor of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in Central Gaza, Iyad A'hmed Al-Mughari, along with a group of citizens, on Thursday evening, in an airstrike that targeted the municipality building.

The PGMO said in a statement on Thursday night, “This massacre is a war crime that violates international laws which grant immunity and protection to mayors and municipal personnel.”

It pointed out that “this is the third Israeli assassination crime committed against municipality chiefs in the Gaza Strip,” elaborating that “Israeli occupation army had previously assassinated the mayor of Al-Zahraa, Marwan 'Hamad, and the mayor of Al-Maghazi, 'Hatim Al-Ghamri.”

The PGMO stressed that “the cowardly assassination of the Mayor of Al-Nusayrat refugee falls within the framework of the Israeli genocidal war against civilians in Gaza.”

The Office held the Israel occupation apartheid regime and the US administration fully responsible for this heinous crime, calling on all countries to prosecute the Israel leaders at international courts and forums and to push for halting the Israeli genocide that has been going on for eight successive months.

For its part, Al-Nusayrat municipality mourned the martyr mayor Dr. Iyad Al-Mughari, who was martyred on Thursday evening along with five others in an Israeli genocidal airstrike on the municipality.

The municipality stressed that the martyrdom of the mayor Al-Mughari “will not deter us from continuing to fulfill our national, moral and professional duty towards our people. We will proceed to exert efforts to serve them and support their steadfastness in the face of the ongoing Israeli aggression.”

An Israeli occupation terrorist soldier posts a social media video of him and other soldiers assaulting and detaining a Palestinian minor in Qalqilya

QALQILYA, Friday, June 7, 2024 (WAFA) –

An Israeli occupation soldier today posted a video on social media of him and other soldiers assaulting and detaining a Palestinian child in the city of Qalqilya.

A video posted by the soldier shows him and other soldiers raiding the Mulhim family home in the Dawood neighborhood, in the city of Qalqilya, while breaking down the front door of a building with Sledgehammers, before detaining a minor boy who was identified as Majid Mulhim.

The video also included a picture of the boy, Mulhim, after he was blindfolded and handcuffed by the soldiers.

In the early hours of the morning, Israeli forces detained ten Palestinians, including Mulhim, during a military raid into several neighborhoods in the city of Qalqilya.

Since the onset of the Israeli occupation’s all-out aggression on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, several videos posted by Israeli soldiers on their social media accounts showed Palestinians being assaulted, abused and detained.

The videos showed soldiers tampering with the contents of the homes they have broken into or destroyed in the Gaza Strip, taking advantage of the lack of accountability and impunity they enjoy and of the international silence that gives them the green light to continue their crimes against Palestinians.

The videos also included incitement to kill Palestinians, as well as profanities and curses towards Palestinians.

Since the beginning of the aggression, the occupation forces detained over 3,009 Palestinians, including 635 minors, from the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

According to the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, thousands of Palestinians who were detained by the Israeli occupation in Gaza were subjected to the crime of forced disappearance.

RAMALLAH, Friday, June 7, 2024 (WAFA) –

This morning, dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers participated in a provocative march near the Rawabi roundabout north of the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The sources reported that the colonists, who descended from the Atarot settlement which is illegally built on Palestinian lands, marched from the Rawabi roundabout towards the illegal Israeli settlement of Halamish while waving Israeli flags, raising concerns about potential attacks on Palestinian citizens and their vehicles.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces set up a military checkpoint near the Rawabi roundabout, preventing the entry and exit of Palestinian vehicles to secure the colonists' march.
