While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Health authorities urgently call for supplying electricity generators to Gaza hospitals

GAZA, Saturday, June 8, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip today made an urgent call for supplying electricity generators for the Strip hospitals.

The Ministry said in a press statement that they have been relying on generators to supply electricity to the hospitals in the Strip around the clock following the destruction of Gaza’s sole power generation plant.

The Ministry warned that if the electricity generators cease to operate, this would lead to the inevitable death of patients and casualties and bring the health services to a complete standstill.

The Health Ministry added that several electricity generators suffered significant irreparable technical malfunctions, and some others were directly destroyed due to Israeli bombardment, and expected that the electricity generators in the remaining hospitals, health centres and medicine warehouses would also cease to operate following the ban on the entry of spare parts required for maintenance.

The Ministry also pointed out that the Israeli occupation forces deliberately destroyed the electricity generators at the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, the Nasir Medical Complex, the Indonesian Complex and the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital to take them out of service, while Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital now relies on a sole generator.

The Ministry stressed that while they have maintained contacts with international institutions, primarily the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), since the onset of the Israeli aggression to supply new generators and spare parts, but to no avail due to Israel’s intransigence to allow the entry of such indispensable generators.

UN decides to put Israel on blacklist for harming children in conflict zones

Friday 7-June-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The UN has decided on Friday to include the Israeli occupation apartheid regime in the blacklist of countries and organizations that harm children in conflict zones.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres informed the Israeli occupation army’s attaché in Washington Maj. General Hedi Silberman of the decision.

Despite Israel’s efforts to persuade Guterres to reconsider, the decision stands, with Israel slated to appear on the blacklist set to be published next week.

“Israel’s inclusion in the blacklist is very problematic and may cause countries in the world to impose an arms embargo on Israel,” media outlets said.

A recent report by the Government Media Office in Gaza has shown that Israel killed 15,517 children in Gaza since the start of the war on Gaza on 7 October last year while tens of thousands of children were wounded in the same period.

Health ministry appeals to int’l community to provide Gaza hospitals with generators

Saturday 8-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza has launched an urgent distress call to the international community and its relief institutions to provide electric generators for the remaining hospitals in the coastal enclave.

“We have been relying on electric generators for nine months to supply hospitals with their power needs around the clock after the destruction of the only power plant in the Gaza Strip,” the health ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

“A number of electric generators in hospitals have sustained major malfunctions that are difficult to repair, while others were deliberately bombed by the Israeli army,” the health ministry added.

The health ministry warned that the remaining generators at hospitals, health centers and drug storerooms would also stop operating as they need spare parts and maintenance.

It warned that many sick and wounded patients would face certain death if these generators stopped working.

'Hamas: Israeli strike on UNRWA shelter part of the Israeli ongoing genocidal war on Gaza Strip

Saturday 8-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement denounced on Friday the Israeli genocidal airstrike that hit a UN-run school sheltering displaced people in western Gaza City, saying the latest attack is part of an ongoing genocide perpetrated by Israel.

“The continuous Zionist targeting of UNRWA schools, including the latest attack on a school in the Al-Shati Camp in western Gaza City, which caused casualties among the displaced, is part of the ongoing genocide committed by the fascist occupation government against our people,” Hamas said in a statement.

“The occupation has destroyed or damaged around 148 UN facilities, killing hundreds of displaced people, most of whom are children, women, and the elderly.”

'Hamas called on the international community to “to form investigative committees for these crimes and hold the criminal leaders of the occupation accountable”.

Earlier on Friday, an Israeli attack on Asma School, run by the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), resulted in the deaths of three Palestinians and injuries to 15 others.

The incident marks the second attack on an UNRWA school within two days. On Thursday, an Israeli strike on a school housing 6,000 displaced persons in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza killed 40 people.

Earlier in the day, UNRWA demanded investigations into all Israeli violations against the agency, including attacks on its buildings and centers that house displaced civilians.

PGMO: The Israeli occupation army bombed 150 UNRWA shelters

Friday 7-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) said that the Israeli occupation army committed a new crime by targeting a shelter center in the Asma school in the Al-Shati refugee camp on Friday, leading to the martyrdom of three citizens and the injury of seven others.

The GMO said in a press release that by targeting this UNRWA school, the number of UNRWA schools used as shelters and targeted by the army’s bombing has exceeded 150, in addition to the bombing of dozens of other UNRWA facilities and service centers designated for the displaced.

It added, “The systematic Israeli targeting of the crowded shelters under false pretexts has become clear, as Israel does not care about the protection imposed by the rules of international humanitarian law for these schools, as they are civilian objects and belong to a UN agency that flies the UN flag, in addition to containing large gatherings of civilians, any targeting of which results in a large number of civilian martyrs and casualties.”

It condemned the continuation of the occupation army’s bombardment of the shelters and the continuation of the “crime of genocide against our people,” and called on the United Nations and the international community to take serious action to end this “Zionist thuggery and criminality” that targets the unarmed civilians in every corner of the Gaza Strip, pursuing them with bombardment and killing wherever they seek refuge.

The PGMO held the United States a participatory responsibility with Israel for these crimes, and called on the International Criminal Court to take a practical legal step towards these crimes against humanity.

The Office also called on the International Court of Justice to issue a judicial ruling to stop this aggression and condemn Israel and its leaders for all the crimes committed since the beginning of the aggression.

UNICEF: 9 out of 10 children in Gaza experiencing severe food poverty

Saturday 8-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) warned Wednesday against severe child food poverty amid world crises, including in Gaza.

“Five rounds of data collected between December 2023 and April 2024 have consistently found that 9 out of 10 children in the Gaza Strip are experiencing severe food poverty, surviving on two or fewer food groups per day,” UNICEF said in a report.

It said months of hostilities and restrictions on humanitarian aid have collapsed food and health systems, resulting in “catastrophic consequences” for children and their families in Gaza.

“This is evidence of the horrific impact the conflict and restrictions are having on families’ ability to meet children’s food needs – and the speed at which they place children at risk of life-threatening malnutrition,” it added.

The report also revealed that around 181 million children worldwide under 5 years of age are experiencing severe child food poverty, making them up to 50% more likely to experience wasting, a life-threatening form of malnutrition.

“Children living in severe food poverty are children living on the brink. Right now, that is the reality for millions of young children, and this can have an irreversible negative impact on their survival, growth, and brain development,” said UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell.

More than 210 civilians killed, 400 injured in the Israeli massacre in Al-Nusayrat, central Gaza

Saturday 8-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

More than 210 Palestinian civilians were killed and 400 were injured on Saturday in large-scale Israeli strikes on Al-Nusayrat refugee camp and some other areas in the central Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation army launched an unprecedented brutal attack on Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, bombarding scores of homes and massacring dozens of civilians, adding that many victims were lying on roads or buried under the rubble of buildings.

The PGMO added that the Israeli army used dozens of warplanes, war ships, drones, helicopters, and tanks in its attack on central Gaza, which reflected an premeditated intent to commit massacres against the civilians in the area.

The PGMO affirmed that the Aqsa Martyrs Hospital is the only medical facility in the central governorate, and now it relies on one electric generator after the other one had stopped working eight months ago.

The PGMO called on the international community and UN and international institutions to intervene urgently to save the hospital in order for it to be able to continue providing medical assistance for thousands of sick and wounded civilians.

Death toll rises to 150 following horrific Israeli massacre in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp

GAZA, Friday, June 7, 2024 (WAFA) –

The number of fatalities in the horrific massacre committed this morning by the Israeli occupation apartheid  regime forces in Al-Nusayrat refugee Camp, located in central Gaza, has risen to approximately 150 (from an earlier report of 80), with dozens more injured, mostly civilians, according to medical reports.

Local health authorities said nearly 80 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, were killed, and others injured due to the intense bombardment by Israeli occupation forces from land, sea, and air on the refugee camp. This unprecedented aggression targeted the central governorate of Gaza, particularly Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, for over two hours.

Israeli airstrikes also targeted the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h, as well as other locations in Al-Maghazi and Al-Buraij refugee camp, and the town of Al-Zawayda, all located in central Gaza.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h, the only hospital in the region, is struggling to cope with the influx of casualties. The hospital faces severe shortages of medications, medical supplies, and fuel, in addition to the main generator shutting down due to the relentless and indiscriminate shelling.

Earlier, the spokesperson of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Dr. Khaleel Al-Diqran, said in a press statement that 55 bodies of Palestinians civilians, who were massacred in Al-Nusayrat today, arrived in the hospital, together with dozens of the injured victims. He added that dozens more of the dead and the injured have not reached the hospital yet, and are still laying in the streets. Dr. Al-Diqran called on the people in central Gaza Strip to come to the hospital to donate the needed blood for the injured victims. He also called on the international community to supply the hospital with the needed medical and fuel supplies, as well as electric generators, to avoid a massive death of the patients in the hospital and other hospitals in Gaza Strip.

The occupation warplanes launched raids on the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h, which resulted in the killing of several civilians and the wounding of others.

Meanwhile, a number of people were also killed and dozens were injured in a series of Israeli raids, artillery shelling, and shooting targeting Al-Maghazi, Al-Nusayrat and Al-Buraij camps along with Al-Zawayda town, in central Gaza Strip.

Israeli drones randomly opened heavy gunfire at civilians in Al-Nusayrat refugee Camp.

In Al-Buraij refugee camp, six civilians were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h is facing challenges in dealing with the increasing number of people killed and wounded in the ongoing and indiscriminate Israeli bombing against the Strip.

The hospital further facing a severe shortage of medicines, medical consumables, and fuel, in addition to the cessation of the main electric generator.

Medical sources announced the inability of the ambulance and emergency system to respond to distress calls and transport the wounded in the central Governorate, stressing that the occupation deliberately undermined the medical system by targeting 130 ambulances and stopping dozens of them.

Meanwhile, the hospital operates with only one generator, noting its failure will lead to the death of a large number of patients and wounded and to a health disaster, especially since it provides its services to more than a million Palestinians, according to medical sources.

It is noteworthy that nine hospitals out of 36 are partially operating in the Gaza Strip, and all of them face a severe shortage of equipment, personnel, and medical supplies.

For about an hour,  intense artillery shelling has continued on the Al-Zaytoun and Tel Al-Hawa neighborhoods in Gaza City, and Al-Nusayrat, Al-Maghazi, and Al-Buraij camps in the central Gaza Strip.

In a related context, occupation war boats bombed the shores of the Gaza Sea in the vicinity of the port, west of Gaza City.

Saturday 8-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid intensive attacks in northern and central Gaza as well as in Rafa'h.

According to media sources, Israeli warplanes, gunboats and tanks launched, at 11:00 o’clock a.m., intensive attacks on central Gaza, especially on the refugee camps of Al-Buraij, Al-Nusayrat and Al-Maghazi, massacring and injuring dozens of civilians.

11 Palestinian Killed, scores injured as Israeli genocidal aggression on Gaza enters 246th day

GAZA, Saturday, June 8, 2024 (WAFA) –

As the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered its 246th day, 11 Palestinians were killed and scores of others were injured in the Strip since the dawn of Saturday, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Palestinian Civil Defense (PSD) crews managed to recover five bodies, including children and women, from the rubble of the Muhanna house in the Gaza City neighborhood of Al-Shaikh Radhwan.

The inhabited house of the Muhanna family was targeted in an Israeli airstrike, resulting in 14 casualties.

This came as Israeli artillery pounded the Gaza City neighborhoods of Sabra and Al-Zaytoun as well as the vicinity of the new camp, north of Al-Nusayrat in the central war-torn Strip.

Israeli bombardment also targeted a house in the Al-Buraij refugee camp in the central Strip, killing six Palestinians and injuring others, at a time when artillery and machine guns targeted the area, east of the camp.

Meanwhile, Israeli bombardment struck various areas in Rafa'h city, particularly the Hashash neighborhood, north of the city.

Tried before the International Court of Justice for genocide against Palestinians, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 36,731 Palestinians and injuring over 83,530 others.

Moreover, approximately 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Israeli occupation forces abduct a Palestinian civilian from Toulkarm refugee camp

TULKARM, Saturday, June 8, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Friday evening abducted a Palestinian from Toulkarm refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

They said that special Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces abducted a youth as the latter was on his way to the town of Bait Lid, southeast of Toulkarm.

Meanwhile, the occupation occupation forces barged their way into the towns of 'Arraba and Ya‘bad, southwest and west of Jineen, triggering confrontations.

The gun-toting soldiers opened live fire towards local youths and the residents’ houses and brutally assaulted a youth.

The young man was rushed to a medical center in 'Arraba. There was no information on his health condition.

The Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which take place also in areas classified as Areas A under the Oslo Accords, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

A Palestinian man forced to tear down his own building south of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Saturday, June 8, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation authorities today forced a Palestinian to demolish his own residential building in the town of Jabal Al-Mukabbir, south of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), according to a local source.

'Atta Shuqairat said that he was forced by the occupation authorities to tear down his 6-storey building, with an area of 580-square-meter, purportedly for being built without a license, leaving 50 people homeless.

He added that attempts to obtain a license over the past years did not help him, particularly after the Israeli occupation regime court issued a demolition decision against the building in 2007.

He added that he had carried out the demolition of his house to avoid paying exorbitant fines should the occupation municipality of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) demolish the structure on its own.

He further said that he had to carry out the demolition himself in order to avoid the destruction that would cause following the demolition of the building.

Using the pretext of illegal building, Israel demolishes houses regularly to restrict Palestinian expansion in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

At the same time, the occupation municipality and government build tens of thousands of housing units in the illegal Israeli settlements in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) for Jews to offset the demographic balance in favor of the illegal Israeli Jewish settlements in the occupied city.
