While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

'Hamas: Al-Aqsa flood is natural extension of our people’s resistance to occupation

Wednesday 15-May-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said that the ongoing Al-Aqsa flood battle has consolidated the solidarity of the Palestinian people inside and outside of Palestine and has proven to the world that Palestinians cannot be defeated, because they do not surrender or abandon their right to their land, freedom, and independence no matter how long it takes, and no matter how strong the enemy is.

The Movement pointed out that the Al-Aqsa flood battle restored the Palestinian cause to its global presence, as a just issue of national liberation, freedom, independence, and self-determination, leading to the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The Movement said, in a press statement on Wednesday on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, that “the Al-Aqsa flood battle is a natural extension of our people’s resistance and their legitimate right to defend their land and sanctities.”

The statement added that the 76th anniversary of the painful Nakba comes this year in light of the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood battle in the Gaza Strip in which the resistance has been fighting against the Israeli aggression for over 222 days.

The Movement affirmed that the Zionist occupation, its fascist government, and its Nazi army did not succeed during this war in achieving any of its aggressive goals against our people in the Gaza Strip, despite committing horrific massacres and waging a genocidal war that affected all aspects of human life, in which it used all types of weapons and ammunition.

'Hamas mourned the martyred leaders and “all martyrs of our people who fell in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and our Muslim nation, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded and sick, and urgent freedom of prisoners and detainees from Israeli prisons.”

The Movement also praised the resoluteness of the steadfast people of the Gaza Strip who are enduring all kinds of calamities inflicted by Israel including displacement, killing, bombardment, starvation, and thirst.

'Hamas added that the ongoing Zionist aggression for 76 years and the genocide crimes committed in Gaza for more than seven months constitute a sign of shame for all those who remain silent and negligent in exposing and criminalizing the Israeli crimes and those who refrain from working to put an end to the Israeli aggression.

The resistance movement called on the nation and all free people in the world “to exert pressure by all means to stop the Zionist aggression against our land, people, and sanctities, and to support the steadfastness and struggle of our people aspiring to freedom and independence.”

The statement denounced the US administration’s support and bias towards the ongoing Israeli aggression and crimes in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), condemning the policy of double standards practiced by Western powers in dealing with the issue of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.

The 'Hamas statement also praised Palestinian prisoners -women and men- in Israeli jails, pledging to release them all, warning against escalating Israeli violations and crimes against them, and holding Israel fully responsible for their safety, especially those who were abducted after October 7, 2023.

The Movement’s statement called on the United Nations and human rights and humanitarian institutions to intervene by all means to criminalize and halt Israel’s systematic violations against them.

It also held Israel directly responsible for the continued suffering of millions of Palestinian refugees living in refugee camps inside Palestine and in the diaspora, stressing that their legitimate right to return to their homes from which they were displaced cannot be waived or neglected.

In this context, Hamas urged the United Nations and UNRWA to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities in supporting the rights of refugees, providing them with relief and a decent life until their return.

'Hamas also addressed the masses of our people, wherever they are, to remain steadfast in the face of the Israeli occupation and its plans.

The Movement hailed the resistance fighters in Jerusalem and the West Bank, calling on them to engage in further clashes with the Israeli occupation army and Israeli fanatic settlers, in defense of their existence and in support of Gaza.

'Hamas concluded its statement by paying tribute to the global movement in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their just cause, calling for continuing such activism in all capitals, cities, and squares of the world, and putting pressure on the countries, governments and institutions that support the Israeli occupation, until the Israeli bloody aggression against the Gaza Strip is put to an end.

Palestinians in the 1948 territory demand an end to Gaza aggression on annual Return March

Wednesday 15-May-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Thousands of flag-waving Palestinians marched towards the Arab villages of Hosha and Al-Qasair, within the 1948 Palestinian territory, on Tuesday to commemorate the 1948 Nakba and to demand their right of return.

The protesters also called for an end to the war in Gaza as they took part in the march marking the “Nakba”, or “catastrophe”, when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were forcibly displaced in 1948 that accompanied Israel’s creation.

The annual Return March started from the eastern entrance to Shifa 'Amr where many held up Palestinian flags and wore keffiyeh headscarves (symbol of Palestinian resistance to the Israeli occupation).

The “Nakba,” which means “catastrophe” in Arabic, refers to the forced removal of an estimated 750,000 Palestinians from their homes in preparation for the founding of Israel in 1948.

Every year, participants of the annual Return March, among them descendants of Palestinians who were internally displaced during the 1948 war, visit a different village that was destroyed or depopulated by Zionist militias.

This year, the Nakba anniversary comes amid Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip, which has killed over 35,000 Palestinians.

UNRWA: Over 150,000 pregnant women facing health risks in Gaza

Wednesday 15-May-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza is leaving tens of thousands of pregnant women struggling with terrible sanitary conditions and health risks, the UN refugee agency UNRWA warned.

“More than 150,000 pregnant women are facing terrible sanitary conditions and health hazards amid displacement and war,” UNRWA said in a statement.

The UN agency published a photo of a newborn girl in the war-torn enclave.

“Habiba was born in a small tent. She’s 2 weeks old and less than 2 kg of weight,” it said. “No child in the world should suffer like this.”

According to UNICEF, 95 percent of pregnant and breastfeeding women face severe food poverty in the war-torn Gaza Strip.

The United Nations Population Fund has recently reported that urgent aid packages containing materials for childbirth are still waiting for permission to enter through the Rafa'h crossing.

The death toll of the Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7 has risen to 35,091. Over 78,827 people have been wounded.

The situation for women in Gaza is particularly dire, as they represent one of the main categories of those killed, wounded, and missing.

Day 221 Update: 500,000 Palestinians Displaced Again from Rafah

 IMEMC, MAY 15, 2024

Throughout the day on Tuesday, Israeli troops continued their bombardment of Rafah, the city sheltering hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians – after dropping leaflets telling the already displaced Palestinians to move once again. Over 500,000 civilians fled Rafah, trying to find a safe place away from the constant Israeli bombardment.

Israeli occupation aircraft dropped a bomb on a residential apartment in Gaza City, killing a woman and her child.

A civilian was killed and two others were seriously injured after Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians on the old Gaza Street in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes launched violent raids on Jabalya and on neighborhoods in Gaza City, including “Al-Rimal” and “Al-Zaytoun”, and the occupation artillery shelled Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, in conjunction with the Israeli gunboats firing towards the northern coast of the Gaza Strip.

Day 221: Intensified Israeli Bombings Kill Dozens In Gaza

May 14, 2024 at 11:34

On Tuesday, Day 221 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Israel’s missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians, including many children and women, in several parts of the destroyed and starved coastal enclave.

The Israeli army escalated its aerial, naval, and ground attacks against all parts of the Gaza Strip after the army demanded the families leave Jabalya, in northern Gaza, and leave the eastern and the southern parts of Rafa'h, in the southmost part of the coastal enclave, while pushing more tanks and armored vehicles into the southern areas of Gaza City, and the eastern areas of Khan Younus.

The Al-Jazeera News Agency said Israel’s shells killed eleven Palestinians in a home and a UNRWA School in the Nusayrat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

Al-Jazeera added that Israeli drones also fired live rounds at Palestinians on Salahuddeen Street in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, killing two.

The Israeli army also fired missiles at a four-story house where dozens of Palestinians tried to shelter, in Rafa'h, in Gaza’s southmost part, killing and wounding dozens, including children; many residents remain under the rubble.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said around 450.000 Palestinians were forced to leave Rafah since the Israeli army first issued the orders on May 6.

It added that the Palestinians in northern Gaza also face constant bombing and orders to leave the area, while the terrified families remain in fear as they have no place to go, as there is no safe place in Gaza.

“The Palestinians have no place to go to,” UNRWA stated, “There can never be security for the families without a ceasefire.”

UNRWA also stated that the severe Israeli restrictions on humanitarian aid entering Gaza, are devastating the already starved and displaced families who suffer under the constant bombing and have no food security.

It reiterated the calls for urgent safe passages to allow humanitarian aid and humanitarian workers to move freely in Gaza without being bombed or attacked.

The Prime Minister of Qatar, Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdul Ra'hman Al -Thani, said despite ongoing mediation efforts to reach a ceasefire and a prisoner-swap agreement between Israel and Hamas, all talks have not yielded any progress, and remain stalled, but added that his country will continue to work with all parties to achieve a deal.

He added that Israel does not have a clear idea on how to end this war, and return the captured Israelis, and said that Qatar is a mediator and will not allow any attempt to use its role otherwise.

Sheikh Mohammed also stated that the talks about reconstructing Gaza are premature as this offensive is still ongoing, and added that the cost of such a reconstruction, as it stands now, would be between 40 to 50 billion US Dollars.

It is worth mentioning that Israel is still closing the Rafa'h Border Terminal and Karm Abu Salim Commercial Crossing, amidst dire warnings from the international community regarding an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.

Israel invaded the Rafa'h Border Terminal with Egypt on May 7, and destroyed various buildings before shutting it down and barring the entry of humanitarian and medical aid, while Karm Abu Salim Crossing, southeast of Rafah City, remains closed for the tenth day.

The Rafa'h Terminal was the only land crossing used for delivering aid supplies, although in limited quantities, and was the only crossing where patients and seriously wounded Palestinians were transferred to receive treatment in Egypt and other countries.

Israel has now killed more than 35.173 Palestinians, mostly women, and children, and injured at least 79.061, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, largely under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings in several parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
