Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip:  

By May 28, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 43,096+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (36,096) and those who are still missing under the rubble (Corrected on April 18, 2024: 7,000+). 

By May 28, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 81,136 and more than 2,520 civilians have been abducted from Gaza Strip. 70% of deaths were for children and women.

By May 28, 2024, 521 Palestinians who were killed, 4,391 who were injured, and 8,912 (corrected on May 27, 2024), who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023 (Some of the detainees have been released).

By May 21, 2023, the Palestinian death toll in Gaza included 15,000+ children (43%).

By March 4, 2023, the death toll also included 13,420+ children, 8,900+ women (more than 72.8% of the accounted for victims), 364 doctors and medical staff, 132 journalists, and 48 civil defense workers. 

By May 25, 2024, the Government Media Office (GMO) said that the Israeli occupation forces killed 493 health personnel and kidnapped 310 others of them.

By January 17, 2024, about 661 detainees from Gaza are currently languishing in Israeli prisons as “illegitimate combatants” (the Israeli term for Palestinian fighters) in addition to more than 50 women from Gaza, who are detained in the Damon prison, noting that 8 women of whom have been recently released.

By March 4, 2024, the Government Media Office (GMO) said that the Israeli occupation forces killed 493 health personnel and kidnapped 310 others of them (May 25, 2024), destroyed 155 health institutions, 32 hospitals, 53 health centers, 126 ambulances, displaced 1.9 million Palestinians, and destroyed 360,000 housing units, about and 60% of the buildings and infrastructure in Gaza Strip.

GMO reveals latest statistics on Israeli genocidal war on Gaza

The Palestinian Government Media Office (GMO) in the Gaza Strip revealed on Saturday the latest and most significant figures on the Israeli ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7.

This announcement comes as the latest updates from the GMO, showing the scale of human and material damage that resulted from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, on its 120th day.

The statistics demonstrated latest updates on the numbers of martyrs, missing, and wounded people in addition to the sick, displaced and prisoners as well as numbers of damaged structures and infrastructure.

Below are figures released by the GMO about Israel’s violations over the period of 120 days since the start of its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

For the 234th day, the Zionist occupation continues its brutal aggression and genocide against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, committing massacres unprecedented in modern history, disregarding all UN resolutions and international conventions, and violating all values, customs, and divine laws, confirming the fascist nature of this occupation, which was founded on terrorism and massacres, said senior 'Hamas leader Osama 'Hamdan in a press conference on Monday.

“Since the start of this aggression, the Zionist enemy has engaged in criminal behavior, targeting unarmed civilians, infrastructure, and civilian facilities; killing and executing in cold blood more than 36,000 martyrs, approximately 81,000 wounded, and over 10,000 missing, most of whom are women and children.”

'Hamdan pointed out that the occupation has destroyed hospitals, schools, mosques, churches, and all civilian facilities, pursued the displaced to their places of refuge, burned their tents, and deprived them of all means of human life, intensifying the war of starvation, displacement, and genocide.

“The massacres of the occupation continue in Rafa'h, Jabalya, and Gaza, the latest being the burning of tents around the UNRWA headquarters, where US bombs and missiles of hatred and terrorism targeted thousands of our people, most of whom were children, women, patients, and elderly, burning their pure bodies and tearing their bodies into pieces,” he added.

He further said that the toll of the tent massacre in Rafa'h is 45 martyrs, including 23 women, children, and elderly, and 249 wounded.

“All the massacres committed by the occupation against civilians and innocents of our people are in areas classified by the enemy itself as safe, indicating its insistence and deliberate execution of these massacres, and its desperate attempts to displace our people through lies and claims to justify its horrific crimes against civilians.”

“The timing of these massacres in the past two days is a challenge from the Zionist-Nazi government of the criminal Netanyahu to the recent decisions of the International Court of Justice, which ordered the halt of the military operation in Rafa'h.”

“The international community is facing a historic responsibility to put an end to this Zionist arrogance, and to stop the aggression of this rogue entity that tries to impose itself above international law, above accountability for its crimes and massacres, with the full sponsorship of the U.S. administration, which is a partner in all these crimes with its political support, equipment that kills our people, and unlimited funding for the crime of genocide in Gaza.”

The senior Hamas official emphasized that “this massacre and heinous crime come as a retaliatory attempt by the Zionist enemy and its defeated and crushed army, soon by God’s will, after their inability to confront the men of Allah, the men of great courage, the men of Al-Qassam Brigades and the Palestinian resistance factions, the fighters of our heroic people in the battlefields.”

The burning of tents in Rafa'h, he added, comes to cover up the strategic and field failure that haunt the leaders of this defeated army since October 7, receiving successive painful blows “at the blessed hands of our heroes, the last of which was the heroic operation in Jabalya.”

He described the Israeli claims of the presence of militants at the massacre site during its execution as a blatant and false claim, disproved by images of the civilian martyrs’ bodies of children and women, in addition to the fact that the area is west of Rafa'h and far from the occupation’s operational and incursions area in Rafa'h.

Its claim that this aggression came in accordance with “international law” is a pure fabrication and a mockery of international law, and this Zionist-Nazi crime clearly and unequivocally confirms the nature of the Zionist entity, which is accustomed to disregarding laws, violating all international conventions and norms, and escaping legal accountability with the support of the US administration, 'Hamdan said.

'Hamdan held the US administration and its President [Joe] Biden personally responsible for this heinous massacre against the displaced in Rafa'h, and for all the crimes of the occupation in Gaza, by continuing to provide political and military cover for the occupation, and continuing to supply it with military equipment and bombs that daily kill dozens of children, women, and civilians.

Spain and Norway recognize Palestinian state, Ireland to follow suit today

Spain and Norway have announced they formally recognize a Palestinian state, with Ireland to follow suit on Tuesday in a coordinated effort by the three European nations.

“This is a historic decision that has a single goal, and that is to help Israelis and Palestinians achieve peace,” Spanish premier Pedro Sanchez said in a speech on Tuesday.

Addressing the media outside the prime minister’s headquarters in Madrid, Sanchez stressed that his country’s “recognition is not only a matter of historical justice for the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people, but it is also an imperative necessity if we all want to achieve peace.

“It is the only way to advance towards the only solution capable of achieving the goal of peace,” Sanchez added.

According to the Spanish premier, the creation of the Palestinian state must first of all be “feasible” with the West Bank and Gaza being united by a corridor and with east  Jerusalem as its capital.

Sanchez said his government’s decision was aligned with UN Security Council resolutions 242 and 338 – which set guidelines for a land-for-peace formula – as well as with Spain’s position within the European Union.

Meanwhile, Norway also officially recognized the State of Palestine.

“Norway’s official recognition of Palestine as a state has entered into force,” the Norwegian ministry of foreign affairs said in a statement today.

The statement added that “a number of other like-minded European countries will officially recognize Palestine on the same date.’

The three European countries announced this step simultaneously last week, with their leaders saying they hoped other countries would join the initiative, stressing that it would enhance the prospects for peace.

With Spain, Norway and Ireland, the number of countries recognizing the State of Palestine has risen to 147, out of 193 member states in the UN General Assembly.

Lazzarini: Scenes of the Israeli massacre in Rafa'h are harrowing

UNRWA commissioner-general Philippe Lazzarini has described the scenes coming out of Rafah, where children and women were massacred by the Israeli army on Sunday night as “harrowing” and a “testament to how Rafa'h has turned into hell on earth.”

“Reports of more casualties continue to come in following an Israeli airstrike on a heavily populated area northwest of Rafa'h. Children and women living in tented plastic makeshift shelters are among the killed. Many were injured. Others were reportedly burnt to death,” Lazzarini said on his X page on Monday.

“It has been extremely difficult to establish contact with our UNRWA teams in Rafa'h today. Some of our staff are unaccounted for,” Lazzarini affirmed.

“UNRWA is doing everything possible not to interrupt the delivery of humanitarian assistance. But with every day passing, providing assistance and protection becomes nearly impossible,” the UNRWA chief said.

“The military operation in Rafa'h must immediately end and the flow of humanitarian assistance into Gaza must improve without further delay,” he added.

Israeli repeated attacks and expansion of the military operation put Kuwait Specialty Hospital in Rafa'h out of service

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) repeated attacks on the Kuwait Specialty Hospital in Rafa'h, one of a few places offering medical care for over 1.2 million people in the southern Gaza Strip city, forced it to shut down Monday.

“Due to the Israeli occupation forces expansion of their military operation in Rafa'h and their repeated and deliberate attacks on the hospital and its vicinity, including the deadly bombardment of its main gate recently in which two of the medics were martyred in addition to the injury of five others in a previous attack, we announce that the Kuwait Specialty Hospital in Rafa'h is now out of service,” Director of the Kuwaiti Hospital Dr. Suhaib Al-Hams said in a statement.

He pointed out that the doctors and other medical workers would move to the field hospital, which is currently established at Al-Mawasi refugee camp.

In defiance to all international calls and the International Court of Justice’s demand, the Israeli occupation army has continued and expanding its ground and air attack on the densely-populated city of Rafa'h since May 6th.

During their ongoing offensive, the Israeli forces carried out dozens of brutal massacres, killing hundreds and injuring thousands of civilians and displaced people in the city.

Palestinian Health Ministry says all hospitals in Rafa'h are out of service amid ongoing Israeli incursion

GAZA, Tuesday, May 28, 2027 (WAFA) – 

Medical sources reported that all hospitals in the Rafa'h Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, were out of service, with the exception of Tal Al-Sultan Maternity Hospital.

The sources stressed that only Tel Al-Sultan Maternity Hospital remains struggling to survive and continue providing service to patients.

Since the start of the attack on Rafa'h, six hospitals have been out of service in light of the continued Israeli incursion and its deliberate targeting of many hospitals and primary care centers.

It pointed out that the attacks led to the Abu Yousuf Al-Najjar Hospital, the Abu Al-Waleed Central Clinic, the Rafa'h Field Hospital (2), the Kuwait Specialized Hospital, the Indonesian Field Hospital, and the Tel Al-Sultan Clinic being out of service.

The Israeli attacks on hospitals and medical centers caused severe damage, killed a number of health personnel working in them, and made it more difficult for citizens to reach them.

UN and international organizations had previously warned that the occupation army would target the health system and medical staff in the Gaza Strip.

UNRWA says around 1 million Palestinians fled Rafa'h

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said today that with the "unsuitable living conditions" in Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip, "providing assistance & protection becomes nearly impossible."

In a post on X, the Agency said that "in the past 3 weeks around 1 million people have fled Rafa'h."

"This happened with nowhere safe to go & amidst bombardments, lack of food & water, piles of waste & unsuitable living conditions."

"Day after day, providing assistance & protection becomes nearly impossible #CeasefireNow," it concluded.

Israeli police brutally assault, arrest Russian Muslim worshiper at Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces brutally attacked a Russian Muslim in Souq Al-Qattaneen in the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), before arresting him on Monday.

Eyewitnesses affirmed that the Israeli police arrested the young Muslim man while he was walking behind a group of the illegal Israeli settlers as they were storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the afternoon.

Israeli special forces took the young man to Bab Qattaneen, one of the gates of Aqsa Mosque. Altercations and fistfights were reported between the detainee and members of the special units, before he was arrested from Souq Qattaneen.

In a separate incident, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces prevented photojournalist A'hmed Jalajil from entering Aqsa Mosque, before arresting him at Lions Gate.

Meanwhile, 58 of the illegal Israeli settlers and 43 Jewish students stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday morning, while 39 illegal settlers forced their way into the holy site in the afternoon.

Gaza Endowments demand international pressure to allow access of Eid sacrifices into Gaza

The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Gaza Strip called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab Republic of Egypt and other concerned authorities to put pressure on the Israeli occupation regime to allow access of 'Eid Al-Adh-'ha sacrifices to the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry said, in a press statement on Monday, that the Israeli occupation regime prevents the entry of sacrificial meat into the Gaza Strip, part of its starvation war against the Palestinian people.

The Israeli closure of Gaza crossings is aimed at tightening the siege and starvation war against the Palestinian people in Gaza by depriving them from benefiting from sacrificial meat and denying them their right to perform an important religious ritual, it elaborated.

The Ministry condemned the Israeli blockage on entry of sacrificial meat into the war-torn Gaza Strip, stressing that it falls within Israeli war crimes against the Palestinian people and its violation of freedom of belief and religious practice.

Palestinian Ministry of Health: IOFs committed 5 massacres in Gaza over the past 24 hours

The Palestine Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) had committed 5 massacres against families in the beleaguered enclave over the past 24 hours killing 46 citizens.

It added in a statement on Tuesday that 110 citizens were injured in the same period, noting that the number of casualties in the IOFs ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year has thus reached 36,096 martyrs and 81,136 injured.

The statement pointed out that many other victims were still under the rubble of destroyed buildings or lying on the roads and ambulance and civil defense crews could not reach them.

The Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has also inflicted vast destruction of houses and infrastructure and displaced around two million people. The ongoing aggression coupled with tightened siege has led to unprecedented famine in the enclave especially in Gaza City and the northern governorates.

Death toll of Palestinians killed by Israel in Gaza jumps to 36,096

The Palestinian death toll from Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023, has now surged to 36,096, medical sources confirmed on Tuesday.

Sources added that at least 81,136 others have also been injured in the onslaught.

At least 46 people were killed and 110 others were injured in Israeli attacks that took place in the last 24 hours, they added.

The sources said that many victims are still trapped under rubble and on the roads as rescuers are still unable to reach them.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 235

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 235 on Tuesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid intensive attacks in Rafa'h and Jabalya.

According to media sources, the Israeli army bombed a house in Bait 'Hanoun in northern Gaza, killing and injuring a number of civilians.

The Israeli army also massacred at least 20 civilians and wounded many others in an attack on a tent camp in the coastal area of Al-Mawasi in the west of Rafa'h.

Casualties, including two martyrs, were reported in Israeli attacks on a house and a group of citizens in eastern Rafa'h.

Meanwhile, an Israeli warplane targeted a group of civilians as they were trying to return to their homes in Al-Falouja area in the west of Jabalya, killing and injuring several of them.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Palestinian Interior Ministry: Israeli airstrike kills police officer, two policemen in Gaza

A Palestinian police officer along with two policemen were martyred on Monday morning in the Gaza Strip in an Israeli airstrike.

The Ministry of Interior and National Security said in a statement on Monday that an officer and two policemen in the Gaza Strip were killed while doing their job to support citizens in Al-Nusayrat camp amid the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The Ministry added that the three martyrs were identified as Major A'hmed Jum'ah Abu Nar and Sergeants: Ma'hmoud Ziyad Jabr and Mu'hammed Abu Riala.

It confirmed that Israeli army’s targeting of police officers and personnel aims to undermine discipline and to spread chaos among the war-torn Palestinian society in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry reiterated its appeal to the whole world to intervene to stop targeting members of the police force who are fulfilling their civil and humanitarian duty towards citizens in the Gaza Strip, in accordance with the international law that guarantees the protection of the police force.

At least nine Palestinian civilians killed by Israeli genocidal airstrikes in the northern Gaza Strip

GAZA, Tuesday, May 28, 2027 (WAFA) –  

At least nine Palestinian civilians today were killed and others were injured in the Israeli occupation genocidal bombing of the northern Gaza Strip and Rafah.

Local sources said that the occupation forces opened fire in the vicinity of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, killing six civilians and wounding others, including a doctor.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that three were killed and others were injured as the occupation forces targeted the Al-Iskan Al-Abyad area, west of Rafa'h.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime continues its genocidal aggression against the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7th, which resulted (by May 27, 2024) in the killing of 36,050 civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, and injuring of 81,026 others, in an infinite toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble.

Israeli occupation forces detain at least 22 Palestinians in the West Bank

GAZA, Tuesday, May 28, 2027 (WAFA) – 

Israeli occupation forces detained 22 Palestinians, including a child and former detainees, according to a joint statement by the Detainees' Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners' Society.

The arrests were concentrated in the cites Ramallah and Bethlehem, while the other detentions took place across various West Bank governorates, Hebron, Tubas, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Jerusalem, the statement said.

During these operations, Israeli forces carried out assaults and intimidated some of the detainees and their families, in addition to vandalizing and destroying homes.

Since October 7, the total number of Palestinians arrested in the occupied West Bank has risen to over 8,910. This figure includes individuals apprehended from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under duress, and those taken hostage.

These statistics cover both those who remain in detention and those who have been subsequently released.

IOFs kidnap several Palestinians in West Bank raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped at least 19 Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) at dawn Tuesday.

According to local sources, the IOFs detained a mother identified as Ola Dalaysha and her son Waleed for several house following a raid on their home in Al-Jalazoan refugee camp in northern Ramallah before releasing them later.

The IOFs also kidnapped four young men after assaulting them and ransacking their homes in Burqa town, east of Ramallah, and another one from his home in al-Jalazoan camp.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed Al-Duhaisha refugee camp and kidnapped 10 citizens, including a young woman, from their homes.

Another citizen was taken prisoner following an IOF raid in Al-Daw'ha town, southwest of Bethlehem.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs raided homes in the city and kidnaped two citizens.

In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces kidnapped a child identified as Rayan Obaid from his home in Al-'Eisawiyya district.

Israeli occupation apartheid regime police handed out dozens of demolition notifications to Palestinian owners of commercial shops in the town of Ram, northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), giving them only two weeks to evacuate.

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) sources said on Monday that the police demolition spree is aimed at expanding the street between the Abu al-Shahid roundabout near the Qalandya checkpoint and the Jaba' barrier northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

One of the shop owners, Wadi Al-'Halawani, said he was shocked to know that the demolition decision affects the entire neighborhood which consists of more than 20 houses and over 40 stores, especially that the owners do not have any legal issues regarding construction permits.

Other owners including Mu'hammed Al-'Amouri and Tamer Al -'Halawani, denounced the demolition orders, stressing that some of the notified facilities were established 20 years ago and do not constitute any threat or cause any harm to the street.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces today demolished a Palestinian-owned house that was still in the construction phase, west of the city of Aree'ha (Jericho).

Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided an area adjacent to 'Aqabat Jabr camp with military reinforcements and demolished a house, under the pretext that it was built without a permit.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces have recently escalated their attacks against Palestinians in the Jericho area, including the demolition of homes, and the seizure of dozens of agricultural dunums, among others.

Illegal Israeli settlers uproot hundreds of Palestinian trees south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers today uprooted hundreds of vine, olive and almond seedlings from the lands of the town of Al-Khadir, south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

Ahmed Salah, an activist in the field of resistance to the wall and settlements, said  that a group of Israeli colonists uprooted 300 vine seedlings, 100  olive seedlings, and 100 almond seedlings.

It is noteworthy that the colonists escalated their attacks against farmers in the town of Al-Khadir, preventing them from reaching their lands and assaulting some of them.

Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces raid the town of Yatta, illegal Israeli settlers chase shepherds

Israeli occupation forces today raided the town of Yatta, south of Al-Khaleel (Heborn). 

Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed the Al-Sahla area in the town of Yatta, and stormed and searched a number of citizens’ homes.

Additionally, dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers chased shepherds in the Umm Al-Khair area and prevented them from grazing their sheep on their threatened lands for the benefit of colonial projects.
