While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Four martyrs in Al-Nabatiya, renewed aggression on Beirut South Suburb

By Al-Mayadeen English

October 20, 2024, at 12:29 Beirut local time

One of the Israeli bombardments strikes a residential building located near the Al-'Hasanayn Mosque, raising concerns about systemic damage to local infrastructure.

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli forces carried out airstrikes in the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting areas including 'Hadatha and Haret Hreik, with one strike hitting a residential building near the Al-Hasanayn Mosque.

Our correspondent added that Israeli warplanes conducted a new airstrike earlier today, targeting Harit Huraik.

It is worth noting that Israeli drones and fighter jets launched on Saturday more than 11 consecutive airstrikes targeting the Lebanese capital of Beirut's southern suburb and surrounding areas. The strikes hit residential buildings in the neighborhoods of Harit Huraik, Burj Al-Barajnah, and Al-Shuwayfat, leveling them to the ground.

South Lebanon faces relentless Israeli airstrikes

In southern Lebanon, the correspondent stated that Israeli warplanes launched a series of intense airstrikes on the city of Al-Nabatiya early Sunday morning, resulting in the killing of four people.

Al-Nabatiyah, the second most populated city in southern Lebanon, is now nearly empty, with its main demographic today consisting of medical workers and the elderly who are limited in mobility and were unable to leave.

The United Nations estimates that a quarter of Lebanon's territory is now under Israeli evacuation orders.

Concurrently, artillery fire also struck the southern outskirts ofAl-Khiyam and its plains, as well as the town of Shib'a.

Additionally, Israeli airstrikes targeted the towns of Al-Tayba and Dair El-Siryan.

The escalation comes as "Israel" continues its brutal aggression against Lebanon, impacting various regions across the country.

By October 19, 2024, the death toll since the onset of the offensive on October 8, 2023, has reached 2,448, with 11,471 reported injuries.

Over 73 Palestinians killed, dozens injured in new Israeli massacre in northern Gaza Strip

Sunday 20-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

At least 73 Palestinians, including many women and children, were killed and dozens wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Saturday night that hit several houses in Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health (PMH) in Gaza, at least 100 were wounded and many others are still being buried under the rubble of bombed buildings.

Local residents said that the Israeli occupation army carried out the nighttime aerial attack in Bait Lahya without prior notice.

Medical sources said the airstrikes targeted a multi-floor building and several nearby houses.

The death toll from the aerial attack is likely to rise as many wounded citizens suffer from critical injuries and medical crews are unable to deal with the large number of casualties.

Director of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, 'Husam Abu Safiya, said that a number of wounded citizens died due to the lack of medical capabilities and supplies, adding that medical crews prioritize lifesaving emergency care.

Dozens of victims have been reported missing under the rubble and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to help them due to the lack of means and the nonstop Israeli attacks on different areas of northern Gaza, according to Abu Safiya.

GMO said that the Israeli occupation army bombed overcrowded residential areas in Bait Lahya, adding that several women and children were among the casualties.

“This is a war of genocide and ethnic cleansing. The occupation has committed a horrifying massacre in Bait Lahya,” GMO added.

GMO said rescue operations in northern Gaza were being hampered by the Israeli cut-off of telecommunication and internet services for a second day.

Earlier in the day, the Palestinian Ministry of Health (PMH) in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation forces attacks killed 35 Palestinians across the coastal enclave.

This new Israeli massacre has happened as the occupation has destroyed the remaining health and medical system in northern Gaza, which is currently home to about 400,000 people.

Since it laid its tight siege on northern Gaza about two weeks ago, the Israeli army has embarked on attacking and besieging hospitals in northern Gaza. The army also ordered those hospitals to evacuate and prevented them from receiving vital supplies, including fuel and food.

The PGMO has held the US administration, Britain, Germany, France and other countries that support the Israeli occupation regime in its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip fully responsible for the genocidal and ethnic cleansing crimes that are happening in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya.

RAMALLAH, October 20, 2024 (WAFA) –

In the past two days, Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 30 Palestinians, including former prisoners, in various locations across the West Bank.

These operations were accompanied by widespread raids, assaults, threats against detainees and their families, field interrogations, and the destruction of homes.

The statement highlighted that since the onset of the ongoing offensive against the Palestinian people in October 2023, more than 11,300 kidnappings have been documented in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Additionally, the report noted that Israeli occupation forces continue to detain civilians from Gaza, particularly from the northern regions, including women, children, and medical staff, committing acts of enforced disappearance.

According to the statement, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime has refused to fully disclose the identities and locations of these detainees, with organizations unable to ascertain the total number of detentions in Gaza, which is estimated to be in the thousands.

The ongoing systematic campaign of detentions has intensified significantly since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli genocide, not only in terms of the sheer number of detainees but also regarding the level of violence and violations committed during these operations.

Later in the morning, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Arroub refugee camp in northern Al-Khaleel (Hebron) and quelled a march organized by local youths to pay tribute to martyr Ye'hya Al-Sinwar, head of the 'Hamas political bureau, who was killed in combat last Wednesday in southern Gaza.

Local sources in Al-'Arroub camp said that the IOFs fired live ammunition at the young men, who responded by throwing stones at them.

Meanwhile, the IOFs tightened its military measures and imposed movement restrictions at the entrances of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) City and on roads leading to different towns and refugee camps in al-Khalil.

At dawn, the IOFs reportedly kidnapped five citizens from different areas of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) province.

Scores of the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque under police guard

Sunday 20-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Hundreds of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Sunday to mark the fourth day of the Sukkot holiday in its courtyards.

The Islamic Awqaf Administration in the holy city said that 1,390 settlers defiled Al-Aqsa Mosque in different groups under police escort in the morning hours.

According to the Wadi Al-'Hilwa Information Center, a number of settlers violated the Islamic sanctity of the Mosque through blowing the shofar, carrying palm fronds and performing Talmudic prayers at its gates and the eastern area of the holy site.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police continued today to block Bab Al-Asbat road and prevent vehicles from moving in the area to secure settlers’ access to the Aqsa Mosque’s western wall.

Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) citizens have recently complained that settlers celebrating the Sukkot holiday assaulted them and their property as they walked through the Old City’s streets.

Meanwhile, the office of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) governorate said on Sunday 52,710 Jewish settlers had defiled the Aqsa Mosque since the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip started on October 7, 2023.

Since the one-week Sukkot holiday started last Thursday, the Israeli police have closed many roads and neighborhoods in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), intensified the presence of its forces inside and around the city, banished several Palestinians from Al-Aqsa Mosque, and summoned others for interrogation.

IOFs bar Palestinian farmers and activists from gathering olives in West Bank groves

Sunday 20-October-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) prevented on Sunday Palestinian farmers and activists form harvesting olive crops in two villages in Salfeet and Ramallah, and bulldozed a swath of land in Nablus

According to local sources, the IOFs prevented farmers from the family of Samara al-Ahmed from collecting olives from their grove in Wadi Al-Attrash area, northeast of Kafr Al-Deek in western Salfeet.

In eastern Ramallah, Israeli soldiers and settlers attacked volunteers and activists as they tried to enter Burqa village to help local farmers in their olive grove and protect them against Israeli attacks.

Local sources said that about 200 Palestinian and foreign activists tried to enter Burqa village before Israeli soldiers escorting settlers barred them from entering the village and showered them with stun grenades to force them to go back.

Burqa villagers are repeatedly exposed to attacks and harassment by soldiers and settlers, especially during the olive season.

In Nablus, the Israeli army bulldozed a swath of Palestinian-owned land near the main entrance of Sebastya town, north of the West Bank, as part of efforts to Judaize and seize the ancient site in the area.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army blocked with mounds of dirt and rocks the road connecting the popular neighborhood of Nablus City with Asira ash-Shamaliya town, forcing the local residents to use other rough routes to reach their destinations.

Toulkarm, October 20, 2024 (WAFA) -

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked on Sunday evening Palestinian farmers while they were harvesting olives in the Rameen plain area, east of Toulkarm.

Farmers told WAFA that a large number of the illegal Israeli settlers launched a sudden assault against them while they were picking olives, forcing them out of their land at gunpoint.

Abu Zuhri: Israel’s crimes in northern Gaza cannot be described by words

Sunday 20-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Senior 'Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri has said that the heinous Israeli crimes that are committed by the Israeli occupation army in northern Gaza are “bigger than any words can describe.”

“What is happening in northern Gaza is a full-fledged genocide and a death penalty against our people there, in a flagrant violation of the international humanitarian law and all international conventions and norms,” Abu Zuhri told a news conference on Saturday evening.

“It is no longer acceptable to rely on the language of condemnation and denunciation, which the occupation disregards and does not heed. The international community and the UN must take serious and effective action to impose sanctions on this fascist government, isolate it from all the UN institutions, and pressure it and its supporters to stop their war of genocide against our people,” Abu Zuhri said.

Abu Zuhri warned that the Israeli army’s “cut-off of communications and internet in northern Gaza is aimed at covering up the genocidal crimes its forces are committing against our people … and preventing the world from knowing the true picture of the holocaust and daily massacres happening there.”

Abu Zuhri accused the Israeli occupation regime of making false and baseless claims and propaganda about allowing aid to enter northern Gaza and other areas of the Gaza Strip, affirming that a small amount of aid had reached only Gaza City, which is also “a disaster area and in need of more aid.”

“The occupation continues to practice the policy of lying and deception regarding the existence of safe areas and corridors for our people to head to, but there is no safe place in the midst of its escalation of all sorts of barbaric bombardment. This fascist occupation executes or kidnaps anyone who leaves the north and goes to the areas and corridors it has designated as safe,” Abu Zuhri added.

The 'Hamas official has held the US administration and all the countries supporting the Israeli occupation regime in its war against the Palestinian people, especially Britain and Germany, fully responsible for the massacres, atrocities and genocide that are happening in the Gaza Strip.

He urged the Arab and Muslim peoples to continue organizing and participating in massive rallies in their cities in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance and in solidarity with the Gaza people.

UN: Palestinians in northern Gaza suffer unspeakable horrors

Sunday 20-October-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

Joyce Msuya, the UN’s acting humanitarian coordinator, confirmed that Palestinians are experiencing “unspeakable horrors” in besieged northern Gaza, highlighting the forced displacement of tens of thousands.

Msuya said on X: “Terrible news from northern Gaza, where Palestinians continue to suffer unspeakable horrors under the siege imposed by Israeli forces.” She added, “People in Jabalia are trapped under the rubble, and rescue teams are being prevented from reaching them.”

She noted the forced displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinians, the depletion of essential supplies, and the bombardment of hospitals that have become overcrowded with patients, emphasizing the need for “these atrocities to stop.”

Msuya reminded that under international humanitarian law, civilians, the wounded, the sick, healthcare workers, and health facilities must be protected.

Earlier on Saturday, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported that two patients in the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza died during the siege by Israeli forces.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, said that the hospital’s generator was damaged, resulting in a power outage that led to “the death of two critically ill patients.”

He explained in a statement, “Hostilities in the vicinity of hospitals can quickly render them inoperable by affecting access to them. We call out loudly: healthcare must be protected.”

Tedros added that the WHO plans to send a mission to Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north on Sunday to deliver fuel, medical supplies, blood, and food, and to transfer critically ill patients to Shifa Hospital.

He continued, “It is essential that Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda hospitals remain operational,” urging for safe and sustainable access for patients and healthcare workers, and an immediate ceasefire.

The UN humanitarian coordinator for the Palestinian territories, Muhannad Hadi, stated that Israeli forces have increased pressure on the Indonesian hospital and Al-Awda Hospital “to evacuate them, but patients have nowhere else to go.”

Hadi explained that since Friday, Israeli forces have not responded to the urgent request from the UN for access to northern Gaza to help rescue “dozens of wounded trapped under the rubble,” stressing that “every minute counts, and these delays threaten lives.”

For its part, Doctors Without Borders called on Israeli forces to “immediately stop their attacks on hospitals in northern Gaza.”

Anna Halford, the emergency coordinator for Doctors Without Borders in Gaza, said, “This is simply collective punishment imposed on Palestinians in Gaza, who must choose between forced displacement from the north or death. We fear this will not stop.”

She added that “Israel’s allies bear a heavy responsibility for this dire situation resulting from their steadfast support for the war.”

Since October 5, the Israeli army has been waging a war of extermination against northern Gaza, committing horrific massacres by bombing homes and shelters, demolishing and burning entire neighborhoods, and preventing the entry of food and water into the area, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, with nearly complete disruption of ambulance and civil defense operations due to being targeted by Israeli forces or being prevented from performing their duties.

With U.S. support, Israel has been conducting a genocidal war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 142,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded—most of them children and women—and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children and the elderly, marking one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
