In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

They said that these testimonies are part of dozens of testimonies and statements that the institutions obtained through visits that were made to many Gaza detainees over the past period, and recently 18 detainees from Gaza were visited in the Negev prison and the Sde Teiman camp, one of whom confirmed that his hands were broken and he was abused while he was tied up. They also shed light on the brutality and systematic torture faced by detainees, reflecting the extreme violence and dehumanization they endure at the hands of Israeli forces. These detainees continue to endure unimaginable conditions, having been subjected to torture, humiliation, and severe deprivation since their detention. The statement reiterated that the level of crimes and violations reflected in the testimonies has not changed, but rather remains at the same level, which doubles the level of danger to the fate of thousands of detainees. They also affirmed that torture crimes still dominate the impact of the detainees' testimonies, and even the crimes of starvation, and humiliation in all its forms, in addition to the harsh detention conditions that are based on policies of theft and deprivation. Y.S. *** Lawyer visits Dr. Abu Safiya, reveals his exposure to torture and abuse Wednesday 12-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights said its lawyer was able on Tuesday to visit Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya for the first time since he was kidnaped from the Gaza Strip 47 days ago. “Around 3:00 p.m. today, Al-Mezan’s lawyer visited Dr. Abu Safiya in Ofer prison, located in the unlawfully occupied West Bank. During the visit, Dr. Abu Safiya detailed the various forms of torture and abuse to which he has been subjected both during his unlawful detention and throughout his arbitrary detention by Israeli forces and authorities,” al-Mezan explained in a statement on Tuesday. “When he was captured from Gaza and transferred to the Sde Teiman military detention camp, he was subjected to various forms of torture and inhuman and degrading treatment — methods that are emblematic of Israeli mass arrest operations in Gaza,” al-Mezan said. Dr. Abu Safiya told the lawyer that he was being forcibly stripped, having his hands tightly shackled, and being made to sit on sharp gravel for approximately five hours by Israeli forces. He was also subjected to severe physical abuse, including beatings with batons and electric shock sticks, as well as repeated blows to the chest, according to the lawyer. “In Ofer prison, where he was transferred on January 9, 2025, he was held in solitary confinement for 25 days — a period so prolonged as to constitute a form of torture in itself. During this time, he endured nearly continuous interrogation for 10 days. At one point, he lost consciousness in his cell due to severe breathing difficulties,” the lawyer said. “During interrogation, Dr. Abu Safiya was confronted with accusations that he firmly denied, stressing that he is a doctor whose sole duty is to provide medical care to patients and the wounded,” the lawyer added. The detained doctor also reported a severe decline in his health, with his weight dropping from 96 kilograms to 84 kilograms, a 12-kilogram loss in less than two months — further evidence of Israel’s systematic starvation policies against Palestinian prisoners and detainees. Additionally, Abu Safiya disclosed that he suffers from heart muscle enlargement. Despite repeatedly requesting medical attention from Israeli authorities, he has been systematically denied access to a specialist examination and deprived of essential care, further endangering his already deteriorating condition. Al-Mezan has unequivocally condemned “the torture and other grave human rights abuses inflicted upon Dr. Abu Safiya by Israeli forces and authorities.” Al-Mezan has urged the international community, particularly Israel’s allies, to take immediate action to demand the immediate and unconditional release of Dr. Abu Safiya, as well as of all Palestinians who have been unlawfully and arbitrarily detained by Israeli authorities, including hundreds of healthcare workers. *** Toulkarm's Nour Shams refugee camp: Israeli army tell residents to evacuate immediately amidst escalation TULKARM, February 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday demanded that the residents of Nour Shams refugee camp evacuate it immediately, through the loudspeakers of the camp mosque, amidst a field escalation. Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces stormed the mosque of Al-'Ayada neighborhood in the camp, and called on the residents through loudspeakers to leave the camp, which has been subjected to aggression for four days. The occupation forces deployed the military vehicles and infantry patrols at the entrances to the camp and its neighborhoods, amidst firing live bullets and sound bombs intensively to spread a state of fear and panic among the residents. Since the first day of the occupation aggression, the camp has witnessed a wave of forced mass displacement under the pressure of random gunfire, coinciding with the sounds of explosions heard every now and then. The displaced civilians described the camp's situation as very difficult and miserable, with demolished houses and shops and bulldozed streets, with the occupation soldiers raiding the houses in a barbaric manner and ransacking them, assaulting young men, and expelling the elderly without allowing them to take their basic needs, especially clothes, and seizing their mobile phones. The media office of the Nour Shams refugee camp Services Committee indicated that the number of displaced people has so far exceeded thousands of women, children, the elderly and the sick. It is noteworthy that the Israeli aggression on the city of Toulkarm and its two camps, Toulkarm and Nour Shams, for the 17th consecutive day, amid a military escalation accompanied by widespread destruction of infrastructure and property, detentions, and forced displacement of thousands of residents of the two camps. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) explained that the Israeli operations in the occupied West Bank resulted in the forced displacement of 40,000 refugees from the camps of Jineen, Toulkarm, Nour Shams, and Al-Far'a. K.T. ***Shadeed: Israeli forced displacement of Nour Shams refugee camp continuation of war of genocide Wednesday 12-February-2025 RAMALLAH, (PIC) Abdul Ra'hman Shadid, a leader in the 'Hamas Movement, has said that the Israeli evacuation orders against Toulkarm’s Nur Shams refugee camp “will not succeed in breaking the determination of our people’s resistance.” Shadeed said in a statement on Wednesday that the Israeli forced evacuation order to the inhabitants of the camp via loudspeakers “comes in continuation of the war of genocide and forced displacement in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.” The 'Hamas leader hailed the “heroic resistance” in Toulkarm and its refugee camps, affirming that it would never be defeated. He urged all Palestinians in the West Bank to rise up and confront the Israeli occupation’s crimes and support their compatriots in Jineen and Toulkarm. The Israeli large-scale aggression on Toulkarm and its refugee camps has been ongoing for 17 days. The Israeli military operation killed 8 Palestinians and inflicted vast destruction on infrastructure other than the forced displacement of thousands of civilians and the detention of scores others. ****** *** Gaza death toll from Israel's deadly aggression surpasses 48,222 GAZA, February 12, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed on Tuesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,222, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023. The PWA made this announcement during a meeting of the Thematic Cluster on Water in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah. As a result of the destruction inflicted on the sector, the PWA added, the Gaza Strip was facing an acute potable water crisis in addition to other imminent threats arising from the breakdown of sewage treatment plants, causing sewage to flow into residential areas and spreading epidemics among the population. Speaking at the meeting, head of the Thematic Cluster on Water, Marwan Bardawil, said that the Israeli occupation inflicted losses on the water sector estimated at over $1 billion. Bardawil added that before the onset of the Israeli military aggression on the Strip in October 2023, the PWA had managed to transform the Strip from an unhabitable area to that with access to potable water. He pointed out that the PWA carried out emergency interventions at the level of supplying water to areas across the Strip, rehabilitation water systems, and operating wells within the available means and capabilities, noting that as part of the Emergency response phase, a set of emergency interventions were required, including the supply of solar-powered water desalination units with a capacity ranging between 20 to 500 cubic meters a day. 'Hamas said in a terse statement that Khaleel Al-'Hayya, the head of Hamas Movement in Gaza, arrived in Cairo at the head of a delegation and started talks with Egyptian officials to follow up on the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of prisoners. Abu 'Obayda, the spokesman of Hamas’s armed wing the Qassam Brigades, had announced last Monday that there will be no release of a new batch of Israeli captives on Saturday 15/2/2025, due to Israeli violations of the ceasefire. He added in a statement on Telegram that the delay in releasing Israeli captives will be pending further notice and until Israel ends its violations and make up for the delay in certain obligations of the ceasefire agreement. He further asserted commitment to the resistance’s part of the deal. *** 'Hamas lauds Jordan and Egypt for rejecting displacement of Gaza people Wednesday 12-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement has commended Jordan and Egypt for opposing US president Donald Trump’s plan to relocate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. In a statement on Wednesday, 'Hamas stated that the stance voiced by the two Arab countries affirmed the presence of an Arab plan to rebuild Gaza without displacing its residents. 'Hamas highlighted Jordan’s stance as a “reflection of its longstanding opposition to resettlement and alternative homeland schemes that aim to obliterate the Palestinian people’s identity and end their national cause.” 'Hamas also expressed appreciation for all the Arab and international voices that rejected any plan to expel the Palestinians from their land or liquidate their national rights. The Movement reiterated that the Palestinian people would remain adherent to their homeland and would never accept any plans aimed at displacing them from their historical land and undermining their legitimate rights. On Tuesday evening, Egypt announced a plan for Gaza’s reconstruction while its population remains on their land. Similarly, Jordanian foreign minister Ayman Al-Safadi asserted that there was a joint Egyptian-Palestinian-Jordanian plan to rebuild Gaza without relocating its residents. *** 'Hamas: Trump’s renewed remarks over Gaza “racist” and “call for ethnic cleansing” Wednesday 12-February-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, has reiterated its rejection of US president Donald Trump’s renewed remarks about his intent to relocate the citizens of Gaza to other countries, describing them as “racist” and a “call for ethnic cleansing.” In a statement on Tuesday, Hamas accused Trump of planning to liquidate the Palestinian cause and depriving the Palestinian people of their inalienable national rights. “The plan to expel our people from Gaza will not succeed, and will be met with a unified Palestinian, Arab and Islamic position opposing all displacement schemes,” 'Hamas stressed. “Our people in Gaza have stood firm in the face of bombardment and aggression and will remain steadfast on their land and thwart all forced displacement and relocation plots,” 'Hamas added. 'Hamas expressed its belief that the Israeli occupation regime would fail to displace the Palestinian people from their land and liquidate their national cause as it failed to achieve its goals in Gaza through aggression and massacres. The Movement reiterated its commitment to continue honoring the ceasefire agreement as long as the Israeli government abides by its terms, accusing the Israelis of violating the agreement and holding them responsible for any complications or delays. During his meeting with Jordan’s King 'Abdullah at the White House on Tuesday, Trump once again insisted that the US would take control of the Gaza Strip and displace all its residents. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Resistance fighter martyred during clashes with IOFs in Nour Shams refugee camp Wednesday 12-February-2025 TULKAREM, (PIC) A Palestinian resistance fighter was martyred on Wednesday during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) in Nour Shams refugee camp in Toulkarm, north of the West Bank. Photos of the martyr were circulated on the internet showing him lying on the ground with his weapon next to him while Israeli occupation soldiers were standing around him. Earlier, local sources reported that renewed clashes broke out today between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in Nur Shams camp. The IOFs also stormed a mosque in Al-'Iyada neighborhood and used its loudspeakers to order the local residents to leave the camp immediately, amid raids on homes. The Israeli occupation army already displaced thousands of Palestinians and caused widespread destruction to public and private property during its raid in Nour Shams refugee camp, which started four days ago. The IOFs deployed dozens of military vehicles and foot patrols at the camp’s entrances and alleyways, while intensively firing live bullets and stun grenades to cause panic among the residents and force them to leave. Displaced residents described the situation as “extremely difficult, with homes and stores destroyed, streets leveled, and soldiers savagely raiding homes, wreaking havoc on furniture, assaulting young men, expelling the elderly, without letting them take basic belongings like clothing, and confiscating cellphones.” *** Palestinian man injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets south of Al-Khaleej (Hebron) Al-Khaleej (Hebron), February 12, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian young man was injured by live bullets today during the Israeli occupation forces' storming of the town of Dthahiriya, south of Hebron. The casualty, 23, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the occupation forces conducted a raid in 'Osreen town, south of Nablus, and fired barrages of tear gas canisters, resulting in several suffocation cases. The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents. These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers. Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. The sources estimated that over 25 citizens were kidnapped and maltreated by Israeli forces during the IOFs raid in Al-'Arroub refugee camp. On Tuesday evening, three citizens suffered injuries after Israeli occupation soldiers savagely assaulted them in Al-'Arroub refugee camp. Israeli occupation soldiers also stormed the UNRWA health center in Al-'Arroub refugee camp, wreaked havoc on its contents, and used it to interrogate dozens of citizens who were kidnaped from their homes. In a separate incident, the IOFs withdrew on Wednesday morning from Al-Fari’ah refugee camp in southern Toubas, leaving a trail of destruction. During 10 days of aggression, siege and different violations, the IOFs had displaced dozens of families from their homes in the camp and forced them to go to Toubas City or the towns of Tammoun and Aqaba. The IOF also kidnapped about 30 young men during its campaign in the camp but released 22 of them later. *** West Bank under Israeli attack: aggression on Jineen and Toulkarm continues WEST BANK, February 10, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces continue the aggression on the governorates of Jineen and Toulkarm for more than two weeks, leaving 29 slain Palestinians, dozens of injuries, detentions, the demolition of homes, and forced displacement, amidst widespread destruction of property and infrastructure, while it withdrew from Al-Fari'a refugee camp south of Toubas, after an aggression that lasted ten days. Since the beginning of the aggression, Israel has imposed arbitrary measures at its military checkpoints near most of the entrances and exits of the governorates in the West Bank, and closed most of the gates of villages and towns, in an attempt to explode the situation, in preparation for creating a state of violent chaos, to facilitate the annexation of the West Bank, which was evident in the brutal attacks committed by terrorist colonist gangs against Palestinian civilians, their towns, properties, homes, lands, and holy sites. The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the city of Jineen and its camp for the twenty-third consecutive day, leaving 25 slain people and dozens of injuries. Six citizens were injured yesterday evening after the Israeli occupation forces beat them in the city of Jineen. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews received six injured people from the Jalama military checkpoint east of the city after the occupation soldiers beat them. They were transferred to the hospital. The Israeli occupation forces also blew up the house of the slain Palestinian youth Nidhal Al-'Aamer's family in Jenin camp. The occupation had given the family a demolition notice of the two-story house last Monday. The occupation bulldozers destroyed the streets and citizens' properties in the eastern neighborhood, where they bulldozed Al-Madaris Street and several other streets in the neighborhood. They also destroyed citizens' vehicles, properties, and part of some homes in it. According to the mayor of Jenin, Mu'hammed Jarrar, the city has suffered economic losses exceeding two billion dollars in infrastructure, buildings, and stores over the past three years, after being subjected to 104 continuous raids. Jarrar describes this aggression and evacuation as "the worst ever", coinciding with difficult economic conditions, and that what is happening in Jenin is a catastrophe on the humanitarian level, as 15,000 citizens were displaced in a small city like Jenin, which is accompanied by very difficult economic conditions. For the 23rd consecutive day, the occupation continues to demolish and burn citizens' homes in the camp, amid intensive flying of Israeli drones, as the occupation destroyed the street leading to the purification station in Jineen and parts of it, and continues to send military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers to the city of Jenin and the surroundings of the camp. The occupation forces continue to demolish, blow up and burn homes in Jenin camp, specifically in the neighborhoods of Al-'Alloub, Al-Falloujah, Al-Bishr and Al-Damj, amid rising columns of smoke and hearing successive explosions. Yesterday, the occupation forces stormed the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin, and the town of Rumana to the west, where a foot force stormed the town and combed its streets. Meanwhile in Toulkarm, the Israeli aggression on the city of and its camp has entered its 17th day, and its fourth day on the Nour Shams refugee camp, amidst the ongoing siege, house raids, and forced displacement of residents, accompanied by a wide-scale detention campaign. WAFA correspondent said that the occupation forces sent more military reinforcements towards the city and its camps last night, and deployed infantry in various areas and neighborhoods, amidst heavy live ammunition and drones. In the city of Toulkarm, the Israeli occupation forces detained, late last night, a number of displaced citizens from the Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, after raiding the 'Othman bin 'Affan Al-Jadeed Mosque in the center of the city, and removing the displaced people present there, and investigating them in the field, before detaining them. In the early hours of this morning, the occupation forces detained two women from villages east of Toulkarm after raiding their homes. A young man, 19, was injured by the occupation forces' bullets in the town of Kafr Al-Labbad east of Toulkarm, after they surrounded one of the houses there and he was transferred to the hospital. The occupation forces are still imposing a siege on the eastern neighborhood of Toulkarm, especially the area near its camp, and are seizing three buildings there as military outposts and sniper positions, and preventing citizens from leaving their homes to secure their basic needs or even appear on windows and balconies. The residents of this neighborhood continue to appeal to all responsible parties, including the Red Cross and the Red Crescent, to take urgent action to check on the conditions of the families, provide food supplies and health services, especially for the elderly and those with chronic diseases, and facilitate the movement of citizens. Meanwhile, Nour Shams refugee camp saw a new wave of mass displacement of dozens of families, under threat and intimidation from the occupation, amidst the firing of live ammunition and the sound of explosions from time to time. The occupation forces raid citizens' homes, search them, destroy their contents, subject their residents to field investigation and abuse, and detain a number of them. The occupation bulldozers also continue to bulldoze and destroy the infrastructure and property in various neighborhoods of the camp, starting from Jabal al-Nasr, Al-Sali'heen, Al-Manshiya, and Al-Maslakh, reaching the internal neighborhoods, in addition to bulldozing Nablus Street along the camp entrances and completely destroying it, and blew up three houses. In Toulkarm refugee camp, the occupation forces intensified their military presence and deployed infantry inside the camp's neighborhoods and empty homes, turning them into military outposts, amidst heavy live bullets, and burned a house belonging to Al-'Awfi family in 'Hanoun Square neighborhood. The occupation forces continued to seize additional homes and residential buildings around the camp, specifically in the northern and eastern neighborhoods of the city, and turned them into military outposts and sniper positions. People who did not leave their homes on the outskirts of the camp appealed for the delivery of food supplies, drinking water, medicines and baby milk, in light of the worsening humanitarian suffering as a result of the interruption of all basic services, including water, electricity and communications, after the occupation destroyed the camp's infrastructure. Additionally, the occupation continues to close the gate of Jabara Bridge at the southern entrance to the city of Tulkarm, separating it from the villages of Al-Kafriyat for the fifth consecutive day. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces withdrew today from Al-Fari'a camp, south of Tubas, after a ten-day aggression. During this aggression, the occupation displaced dozens of families from their homes in the camp towards the city of Tubas and the towns of Tamoun and Aqaba. The camp has suffered from a difficult humanitarian situation over the past ten days, after the occupation besieged the camp and closed all its main and secondary entrances, which left hundreds of families without water or food supplies, in addition to a shortage of medicines, especially for those with chronic diseases. This aggression, in which hundreds of soldiers, dozens of patrols, and a number of heavy bulldozers participated, included great destruction of the infrastructure and citizens' property, the bombing and removal of doors from a number of homes, and the demolition of parts of the Popular Committee building. Local sources said that the occupation raided dozens of houses in the camp, conducted field investigations with their residents, and turned some of them into military barracks after forcing the residents to leave them, as the number of families forced to leave the camp ranged between 200-250. During this aggression, the occupation arrested about thirty young men from the camp, 22 of whom were later released. The occupation forces had obstructed the work of medical teams throughout the days of the aggression, and prevented them on more than one occasion from transferring sick cases from the camp, and raided the medical point affiliated with them in Al-Far'a camp. Since this morning, citizens began returning to their homes in the camp and inspecting them after the occupation withdrew from them. According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces brought in additional military vehicles and heavy bulldozers before demolishing the house. Meanwhile, forces continued to wreak havoc on property along the road connecting Ash-Shuhada and Al-Mujahideen neighborhoods, where loud explosions and heavy gunfire were reported. The demolition and destruction were accompanied by a strict siege on the camp and its surroundings, with Israeli forces turning the area into a military zone. They raided homes, ransacked them and violently forced residents to leave. Earlier today, Israeli forces used the loudspeakers of a mosque in the Al-Iyada neighborhood to order camp residents to leave their homes immediately. Dozens of families, including women, children and the elderly, were seen fleeing the camp on foot, struggling through devastated streets in harsh winter weather while facing the looming threat of Israeli gunfire. Israeli soldiers also obstructed the work of the Palestine Red Crescent Society teams, ramming a vehicle belonging to the organization’s Disaster Risk Management team and disrupting their efforts to evacuate elderly residents and children. Medical relief teams were also hindered from carrying out their humanitarian duties. The head of the Popular Committee for Services in Nur Shams refugee camp, Nihad Al-Shawish, stated in a press release that the situation inside the camp is extremely dire amid the ongoing large-scale assault. The occupation is firing at everything that moves inside the camp. Many families remain trapped in their homes, facing imminent danger, while essential services such as water and electricity have been cut off, he said, warning of a severe shortage of food, drinking water, medicine, and baby formula. He stressed that the occupation is carrying out the most brutal forms of mistreatment against residents, storming their homes by force, firing live bullets and stun grenades inside, and threatening them to leave in an apparent effort to empty the camp of its residents. T.R. *** Extremist colonists graze livestock on Palestinian lands near Jericho JERICHO, February 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists grazed their livestock on the lands surrounding the homes of Palestinians in the village of Fasayel, north of the city of Jericho. The Al-Baidar Organization said that a group of armed Israeli colonists allowed their cows on the citizens' agricultural lands near the homes in Fasayel, in a move to seize the pastoral lands, at a time when the residents are suffering from continuous attacks. It pointed out that this comes within the policy of pastoral colonization, and requires the intervention of human rights organizations to protect the citizens and Bedouins north of Jericho from these attacks. Meanwhile, colonists stormed the Ein Al-Auja waterfall complex north of Jericho, accompanied by their sheep, and spread out among the Bedouin homes. The Bedouin Rights Defense Organization, Al-Baidar, said in a statement to WAFA that colonists grazed their sheep and emptied the Bedouin's water tanks randomly onto the ground, which threatens the water resources that the Bedouins depend on mainly from the Al-Auja spring. It is noteworthy that colonists proceeded to graze their cows on the lands surrounding the homes of citizens in the village of Fasayel, north of Jericho. Y.S *** UN: Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip requires more than $53b Wednesday 12-February-2025 NEW YORK, (PIC) A UN estimate has shown that reconstructing the Gaza Strip, which was devastated by the Israeli genocidal war, requires more than $53 billion, including over $20 billion over the first three years. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres wrote in a report prepared at the request of the General Assembly that the necessary amounts for recovery and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip over the short, medium, and long term “are estimated at about $53 billion and 142 million. Within this amount, the funding needed in the short term for the first three years is estimated at about $20 billion and 568 million.” The reconstruction of the Gaza Strip includes several key aspects, such as: Basic infrastructure, including rebuilding water and sewage networks, restoring electricity networks, and rehabilitating roads, bridges, and public transportation. Rebuilding homes and buildings. Health facilities, including reconstructing damaged hospitals and health centers. Educational facilities, repairing schools, universities, and educational institutions. Revitalizing productive sectors such as agriculture and industry. Removing rubble and disposing of war debris. Clearing areas of unexploded ordnance. Rehabilitation of the public sector and government services. Israeli bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip has caused an “unprecedented level of destruction in modern history,” according to a previous UN report. According to damage assessments conducted by the UN Satellite Center (UNOSAT) last month, as of December 1, nearly 69% of the buildings in the Gaza Strip were damaged or destroyed, totaling 170,812 buildings. The UN health organization also stated that only 18 out of 36 hospitals (50%) are operating “partially,” with a total bed capacity of 1,800. As of December 1, UNICEF reported that at least 496 schools were damaged, representing nearly 88% of the 564 registered facilities. Among these, 396 schools were directly hit by bombardment. According to images taken by UNOSAT on September 26, 2024, 68% of the agricultural land in the Gaza Strip, equivalent to 103 square kilometers, was damaged due to the war. In the North Gaza Governorate, the percentage of damaged agricultural land reached 79%, and in Rafah Governorate, it was 57%. Destruction has affected agricultural assets (including irrigation systems, livestock farms, orchards, machinery, and storage facilities), with damage estimates ranging from 80% to 96% as of early 2024, according to a report published by the UN Conference on Trade and Development last September. Regarding the road network, the damage percentage reached approximately 68% of the total roads in the Gaza Strip, with a total of 1,190 kilometers destroyed, according to a “preliminary analysis” conducted by UNOSAT on August 18. *** =============================================================================================================================== Editorial
