While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Palestinian resistance hands over three Israeli captives to Red Cross, in return for the Israeli release of 183 Palestinian political prisoners

Saturday 15-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Three Israeli captives were handed over to a Red Cross crew on Saturday morning as part of the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, and the Israeli occupation regime.

The three captives are Iair Horn, 46, a dual citizen of Israel and Argentina, Sagui Dekel Chen, 36, who is American-Israeli, and Alexander Troufanov, 29, who holds Israeli and Russian citizenship.

During a televised parade held near the house of martyred Hamas leader Yehya as-Sinwar in southern Gaza’s Khan Younus, resistance fighters from Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas handed two captives over to Red Cross representatives while fighters from al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad handed one prisoner.

As was the case in previous prisoner handovers, Red Cross representatives signed documents to receive the captives before taking them in vehicles to hand them over to the Israeli occupation army.

In exchange, 369 Palestinians will be released from Israeli prisons later today, including 36 with life sentences and 333 from the Gaza Strip.

It will be the sixth prisoner swap since the ceasefire took effect on January 19.

'Hamas: Honoring the ceasefire agreement is the only way to free the Israeli captives

Saturday 15-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, has said that the release of the sixth batch of Israeli captives in Gaza confirms that there is no way to release the Israeli prisoners except through negotiations and honoring the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

“The ‘Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa’ banner and the crowds of people that were seen during the handover of the enemy’s prisoners are a renewed message to the occupation and its supporters that they (the holy city and the Mosque) are a red line,” Hamas said in a statement after a Red Cross crew received three Israeli captives during a parade on Saturday.

Hamas stressed that its response to US president Donald Trump’s calls for displacing Gazans is that “there will be no migration except to Jerusalem.”

“O Jerusalem, bear witness: We are your soldiers, and we will remain loyal to our vow to be steadfast on the ground, upholding the path of liberation without retreating and giving up,” Hamas said.

As part of ceasefire agreement, the Israeli occupation regime release sixth batch of Palestinian political prisoners

RAMALLAH, February 15, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation regime released the sixth batch of the Palestinian political prisoners on Saturday, in accordance with the Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire agreement. The release involves 183 prisoners, as reported by the Palestinian Prisoner's Society and the Palestinian Authority’s Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission.

The released prisoners include 36 detainees serving life sentences and 333 detainees from Gaza detained after October 7, 2023. According to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society, 29 of the released prisoners are from the West Bank, 7 from Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, 24 prisoners serving life sentences were deported outside of Palestine.

During the release, Israeli forces turned the area near Ofer Prison, west of Ramallah, into a military zone, blocking families from gathering to welcome their loved ones and firing live ammunition and tear gas at them.

Despite the restrictions, hundreds of Palestinians and relatives of the released prisoners gathered early in the morning at the Mahmoud Darwish Museum in Ramallah to greet the freed detainees, waving Palestinian flags in celebration of their release.

'Hamas: Talks on Gaza truce phase two to begin early next week

Friday 14-February-2025

DOHA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement expects indirect negotiations with Israel for the second phase of an ongoing truce in Gaza to begin “early next week”, 'Hamas official Tahir al-Nunu said on Friday.

“We expect the second phase of the ceasefire negotiations to begin early next week, and mediators are continuing discussions on this matter,” al-Nunu explained.

Al-Nunu added that the Movement received “promises from the mediators to increase tents, mobile homes, and heavy equipment entry into the Strip.”

Gaza’s Government Media Office earlier said it is closely following Israel’s actions and “waiting for it to abide” by its humanitarian commitments in the ceasefire agreement.

“The catastrophic humanitarian and living reality that our people in the Gaza Strip are suffering from as a result of the war of extermination and ethnic cleansing waged by the occupation for 15 months, does not tolerate procrastination and delay in introducing shelter requirements and other needs such as fuel, heavy equipment, medical devices and equipment, and infrastructure restoration materials,” Salama Ma'rouf, the head of the Office, said in a statement.

“[Nearly] one and a half million people have become homeless after their homes were destroyed, while all residents of the Gaza Strip, numbering 2.4 million people, suffer from the lack of the most basic life services and the lack of infrastructure,” he added.

'Abdul Azeez Jouda: A final journey turns into a tragic mystery

Saturday 15-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Amidst hope that diminishes with each passing day and anxiety that gnaws at the heart, the family of 'Abdul Azeez 'Izzat Jouda (67 years old) continues to seek an answer to a single question: Where is 'Abdul Azeez?

In late September of last year, 'Abdul Azeez disappeared under mysterious circumstances north of the Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, an area that was then under the control of the Israeli occupation forces near the Martyrs’ Axis (so-called by Israelis as Netzarim). Little did he know that his final journey there would turn into a tragic mystery haunting his family.

Details of the disappearance

On that day, 'Abdul Aziz was with another person near the electricity company north of Al-Nuseirat. Hours later, his companion was found dead, while Abdul Aziz vanished without a trace. All that remained of him were some personal belongings: his bicycle, his mobile phone, and his flashlight.

His niece’s son sadly states, “We searched for him everywhere, but there was no sign of him. We haven’t received any information about him since that day.” He adds that the family lives in a state of anxiety and anticipation, waiting for any news that might reveal his fate.

'Abdul Azeez’s life before disappearance

'Abdul Azeez was not a wealthy man; he lived a hard life. He did not have a stable source of income, relying on work in the fields, picking olives, or searching for any job that would provide for his daily needs and help him care for his family and grandchildren. His home was nothing more than a modest room made of asbestos sheets, offering no protection from the winter cold or the summer heat.

Despite the harsh living conditions, Abdul Azeez was a model of generosity. He would share with his neighbors and relatives what little he had, even if it was just a handful of fruits or a few loaves of bread. “He was simple in his life, but great in his humanity,” adds a relative.

The family’s pain and their final plea

For 'Abdul Azeez’s family, waiting was not just about passing days; it was a renewed pain with every moment. The absence of news means that the suffering remains suspended in the air, with no certainty to ease their hearts.

“We want to know his fate, even if it means accepting sad news. At least we can close this wound,” the family says, appealing to relevant authorities and international human rights organizations to take action and reveal his fate, whether he is alive in captivity or a martyr.

A repeated story in the Gaza Strip

'Abdul Azeez Jouda is not the only name in the list of the missing. Hundreds of families in the Gaza Strip live the same tragedy, deprived even of knowing the fate of their loved ones. Poverty, war, and enforced disappearances are daily struggles faced by the people of the region, in a world that seems accustomed to ignoring their pain.

Today, Abdul Aziz’s family stands between hope and fear, waiting for news that will end this agonizing wait. Until then, the question remains open: Where is 'Abdul Azeez?

The IOFs kill three young men in Toulkarm, another one in Nablus

Saturday 15-February-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

IOFs storm West Bank areas, drops bombs in Toulkarm

Saturday 15-February-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched drone attacks on the area around Toulkarm refugee camp and stormed other areas of the West Bank on Saturday.

Local sources said that Israeli drones dropped bombs in the vicinity of Toulkarm refugee camp, with no reported casualties.

Meanwhile, the IOFs stormed areas in the Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) province, including the city, Bait Fajjar town and Al-Duhaisha refugee camp, patrolled their streets and raided homes.

One of those homes raided by the IOFs in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) belongs to prisoner Abdul-Ra'hman Miqdad, who will be released today as part of the prisoner swap deal with the Israeli government.

In Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young man and clashed with local youths in Kafr Qaddoum town.

In Jineen, resistance fighters from Al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad detonated explosive devices at IOFs vehicles in Silat Al-Harithiya town.

The IOFs also stormed other areas of the West Bank and raided homes, with no reported kidnappings.

The Israel occupation army’s large-scale military operation in the northern West Bank has entered day 26, amid massive destruction to homes and roads and forced displacement of local residents.

IOFs raid homes of released prisoners in the West Bank

Saturday 15-February-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out new raids on Saturday on the homes of released prisoners in the West Bank as part of the sixth batch of the prisoners’ exchange deal, within the framework of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

The IOFs stormed the home of released prisoner Iyad 'Harbiyat in the village of Al-Majd, west of the city of Dura in the Al-Khalil governorate.

In a related context, IOFs invaded the city of Al-Beereh and raided the home of released prisoner Mazin Al-Qadhi, who was released today after more than 22 years of imprisonment, having been sentenced to three life sentences and 25 years.

Nine released prisoners with life sentences arrived in the city of Ramallah, while the occupation authorities transferred three released prisoners with life sentences to Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), including the Hamas member Nabil Obeid.

Earlier, the IOFs raided the homes of other released prisoners, specifically in Bethlehem, targeting the home of released prisoner Abdul Ra'hman Miqdad, and threatened his family against organizing a reception for him.

The IOFs also stormed the home of released prisoner Mousa Nuwwara “Al-Douri” shortly before his release.

On Friday evening, IOFs raided the home of released prisoner Hafidth Shurayea, who was released today, and threatened his family against organizing any celebration for his release. He was deported abroad and had been imprisoned since April 2002, serving life imprisonment.

In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces summoned the father of the Hamas prisoner Nabeel Salama 'Obaid to Al-Moskobiya investigation center.

Nabil Obeid, 46 years old, was arrested on September 24, 2004, and subjected to harsh and lengthy interrogation, before being later sentenced to seven life imprisonment terms, in addition to 30 years.

The sixth batch of the exchange deal included the release of 369 prisoners from the Israeli prisons, including 36 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, and 333 from the Gaza Strip who were arrested after October 7, in exchange for the release of three Israeli prisoners held by the resistance in Gaza.

Thus, the number of prisoners that the resistance managed to free in six batches rises to 1,138 Palestinian prisoners, in exchange for 19 Israeli prisoners. Among the released prisoners are 236 who were serving life sentences, with the least having spent 20 consecutive years in the occupation’s prisons.

Israeli occupation forces conduct multiple raids across West Bank

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), February 15, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation Saturday conducted multiple raids across the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

They said that the occupying forces barged their way into Al-Dhuhaisha refugee camp, and deployed along the main street, triggering confrontations.

The gun-toting soldiers fired barrages of concussion grenades and tear gas canisters, but without causing any injuries.

The occupying forces conducted a similar raid into Al-Khadhir town, south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), and used concussion grenades and tear gas to repel protestors, without causing any injuries.

In the Nablus governorate, Fou-ad 'Hasan, an anti-colonial settlement activist, stormed Qusra town, and fired barrages of gunfire and tear gas, sparking confrontations.

He confirmed a similar raid in Qaryout village, southeast of Nablus, triggering clashes, during which the soldiers fired volleys of gunfire and tear gas.

The soldiers chased two minors and eventually detained them.

In the Hebron governorate, the heavily armed soldiers showed up at the family house of Iyad Huraibat, who was released as part of the sixth batch of prisoners under the Gaza ceasefire agreement, in Dura town, and fired concussion grenades and tear gas toward civilians, resulting in several suffocation cases.

The soldiers deliberately rammed their military vehicle into several Palestinian-registered vehicles in the town, resulting in damage.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Illegal Israeli settlers assault Palestinian farmers and shepherds in the Jordan Valley

Saturday 15-February-2025

Toubas, (PIC)

A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers on Saturday morning attacked Palestinian farmers and shepherds in different areas of the northern Jordan Valley.

According to local sources, a horde of the illegal Israeli settlers brutalized farmers in Wadi Al-Faw area in the northern Jordan Valley.

Another group of settlers prevented shepherds in the Valley’s Bardala area from grazing their sheep and chased their sheep in an attempt to steal them.

Settler violence against Palestinians is a daily issue in the West Bank and the northern Jordan Valley. Instead of taking action to combat their crimes, the Israeli military and security forces aid and abet the illegal Israeli settlers in harming Palestinians, destroying their property and seizing their lands.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Jaloud village under army protection

NABLUS, February 15, 2025 (WAFA) –

A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers launched an attack today on the village of Jaloud, south of Nablus, firing live ammunition and provoking confrontations with local residents.

Anti-colonial activist Bashar Al-Qaryouti reported that Israeli colonists, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, assaulted Palestinian homes in Jaloud, leading to confrontations with local residents. The attack involved heavy gunfire, yet no injuries were reported.

The incident is part of a broader pattern of violence by the illegal Israeli settlers against Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank, often carried out under military protection. Local residents have repeatedly called for international intervention to curb these ongoing assaults.

For the 20th day in a row, Israeli forces continue large-scale military onslaught on Toulkarm and its refugee camp

TULKARM, February 15, 2025 (WAFA) –

For the 20th consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the city of Toulkarm and its refugee camp, and on the Nour Shams refugee camp for the seventh day, amid a military escalation that led to the killing of 11 people, and further destruction of infrastructure.

WAFA correspondent said that after midnight last night, the occupation drones dropped explosive bombs in the eastern neighborhood of the city near Abu Safiya factories, and in the vicinity of the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps, which led to huge explosions without any injuries being reported.

She added that the occupation forces sent additional reinforcements of its soldiers through the Tsnaoz military checkpoint west of Toulkarm, accompanied by police dogs, who were deployed in various streets and neighborhoods of the city, specifically Al-Alimi Street and the southwestern street, Nablus Street adjacent to Toulkarm refugee camp, and Al-Shuwaika and Al-Younus roundabouts in the northern neighborhood.

The occupation forces detained the two young men, Duas A'hmed Shi'hada and Mu'hammed 'Amarna, from the vehicle they were riding in on the street of the court complex, and detained another young man near Al-Shuwaika roundabout in the city without knowing his identity.

Last night, the General Authority of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Health announced the killing of three young men by the occupation's bullets last Wednesday in Nour Shams refugee camp.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces seized more homes in the eastern neighborhood of Toulkarm, and turned them into military points after forcing their residents out, while continuing to seize residential buildings around the Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps and deploying snipers inside them.

The occupation forces continue to impose a tight siege on the Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, and are deployed in the streets and alleys, while raiding homes, vandalizing them and destroying parts of them, including walls and roofs, accompanied by heavy firing of live ammunition at everything that moves.

The occupation bulldozers caused great and widespread destruction to the infrastructure in the streets of the two camps and the Nablus Street connecting them, and severe damage to the electricity, water and communications networks, which caused them to be completely cut off from them, in addition to the damage that occurred to homes and shops, after they were completely and partially demolished by the occupation bulldozers.

Initial estimates, according to field observations and official data provided by the Governor of Toulkarm, indicate that the number of homes completely destroyed by the occupation during this ongoing aggression in Toulkarm refugee camp was at least 22, 300 partially destroyed, and 11 burned. In Nour Shams camp, the occupation forces completely destroyed 13 homes, partially destroyed 60 homes, and burned two homes.

The occupation forces continue to expel the residents of Nour Shams camp from their homes, forcing them to leave the camp, which witnessed a wave of displacement during the first day of the aggression with hundreds of families under threat and intimidation, heading to shelters in the city, its suburbs, and its villages, to be added to the thousands of citizens who were displaced from Toulkarm refugee camp during the past days.

Calls for help continue from citizens who have not left their homes on the outskirts of Toulkarm refugee camp, about their fate from the danger threatening them in light of the tight siege on the camp and the interruption of electricity, water, and communications, and the severe shortage of food, drinking water, milk, and medicine.

At the same time, the occupation forces continue to close the gate of the Jabara checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Toulkarm for the eighth consecutive day, isolating the city from the villages and towns of Al-Kafriyat, and the rest of the West Bank governorates.

Jordan supports Arab-backed Egyptian plan to rebuild Gaza without displacement

Friday 14-February-2025

PARIS, (PIC)

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said on Friday there is an Arab-supported Egyptian plan that aims to rebuild the Gaza Strip without displacing its Palestinian residents.

Safadi made the statement during a meeting with his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot in Paris on the sidelines of a conference on Syria hosted by France, according to the Jordanian Foreign Ministry.

The statement quoted both top diplomats as opposing the relocation of Palestinians, opposing US President Donald Trump’s plan to take over Gaza and displace its residents to Jordan, Egypt and elsewhere.

Earlier this week, Egypt said it is working on a “comprehensive vision” regarding the reconstruction of Gaza, destroyed by Israel’s relentless bombardment for 15 months, without displacing Palestinians from the territory.

Spain's Prime Minister: We will not allow Trump’s plan to displace people of Gaza

MADRID, February 15, 2025 (WAFA) –

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has firmly opposed the proposal by U.S. President Donald Trump to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, declaring that Spain will not allow such a plan to be implemented.

Speaking at a Socialist Workers' Party event in San Sebastián, northern Spain, Sánchez called for adherence to international law in Gaza, just as in other parts of the world. He emphasized that Palestinians should remain in Palestine and Israelis in Israel, living in peace, harmony, and security.

“No real estate transaction can conceal the evil, disgrace, and crimes against humanity that Gaza has witnessed in recent years,” Sánchez stated.

He urged the international community to reject Trump’s plan for Gaza’s displacement, reiterating Spain’s firm stance against it. “Spain will not allow this,” he affirmed.

Churches of Al-Quds (occupation Jerusalem) issue urgent call against forced displacement plans for the people of Gaza

Saturday 15-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Patriarchs and heads of churches in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) issued an urgent humanitarian appeal on Friday, emphasizing that the scale of the tragedy unfolding before the world in Gaza Strip represents a flagrant violation of human conscience and a challenge to moral and religious values. Thousands of innocent lives have been lost, entire neighborhoods have turned to rubble, while children, the elderly, and the sick face suffering beyond description, illustrating the cruelty of the tragedy endured by the people of Gaza Strip.

In light of this profound pain, the statement expressed a firm rejection of what it described as the imminent danger posed by proposals for mass forced displacement, considering it a direct assault on human dignity and fundamental human rights. The Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, who have lived in this land for centuries, must not be forced to leave their homes, uprooted from their roots, or deprived of what remains of their homes, heritage, and existence on their land.

The statement highlighted the seriousness of the current situation and stressed the importance of supporting the firm positions taken by King Abdullah II of Jordan, Egyptian President Abdul Fatta'h El-Seesi, and other leaders who have shown a clear and steadfast stance against any attempt to uproot the people of Gaza Strip from their land.

The patriarchs and heads of churches praised the role these leaders play in raising their voices in international forums, providing humanitarian aid, and insisting on protecting civilians in Gaza Strip, affirming that these efforts reflect the highest forms of responsible leadership that reject forced displacement and ethnic cleansing under any circumstances.

From this moral and humanitarian stance, the statement called for the immediate release of all prisoners from both sides, so they can return safely to their families, and for decisive action by the international community, governments, and people of conscience to stop the humanitarian bleeding witnessed in Gaza Strip. There is no justification for uprooting an entire people from their land, and no excuse for allowing this tragedy to continue under any pretext.

The statement emphasized that the top priority must be to open safe humanitarian corridors without restrictions or obstacles, to ensure urgent humanitarian aid reaches those in dire need. It stressed that abandoning Gaza Strip at this critical time is a neglect of our shared humanity.

In the midst of this tragic scene, the patriarchs and heads of churches in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)  called for prayers for the bereaved, the wounded, and all those who remain steadfast in the land of their ancestors.

The statement concluded with a call to establish a just peace that preserves human dignity and guarantees the people of Gaza Strip their right to remain in their homeland, without threat or displacement, asserting that the world today must choose between championing justice or contributing to the silence that allows injustice to persist.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
