Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By February 16, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 62,067+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (48,273), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,794+). 

By February 16, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 111,693.

By February 15, 2025, 899 Palestinians who were killed, 6,823 who were injured, and 11,190*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).  

Note: The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported, on February 8, 2025, that the names of 572 Palestinians have been added to the overall death toll after checking their details by relevant authorities.

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ " (الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Gaza death toll nears 48,300 as more bodies found in rubble

Palestinian medics and rescue teams retrieved six more bodies from the rubble in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, pushing the overall death toll from Israel’s genocidal war since October 2023 up to 48,271, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Sunday.

A ministry statement said that five injured people were also admitted to hospitals, bringing the number of injured in the Israeli onslaught to 111,693.

“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, with rescuers unable to reach them,” the ministry said.

A ceasefire agreement has been in place in Gaza since Jan. 19, pausing the Israeli war that has caused widespread destruction and left the Palestinian enclave in ruins. Israel has violated the ceasefire multiple times.

Israeli airstrike kills three Gaza policemen, injures others

Three Palestinian policemen were martyred and others were injured on Sunday morning in an Israeli airstrike in Al-Shoaka area in eastern Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip.

According to Gaza’s interior ministry, two policemen were killed immediately and another one succumbed to critical injuries later.

The interior ministry said that the airstrike targeted police officers as they were in the area to protect humanitarian aid.

The martyrs are Yousuf Al-'Eid, Ibraheem Al-'Eid, and Bilal Al-Maghari.

The ministry appealed to the international community to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop targeting police personnel, describing policemen in Gaza as “members of a civilian apparatus that provides services to protect the security of civilians and organize their daily affairs.”

Yesterday, an Israeli airstrike killed a civilian in Abu 'Halawa area, east of Rafa'h.

Palestinian Ministry of Public Works: Israel destroyed 280,000 housing units in Gaza Strip

The Palestinian Ministry of Public Works and Housing in the Gaza Strip announced that initial estimates of the damage caused by the Israeli genocidal war indicate that 280,000 housing units have been completely destroyed or partially damaged to the extent that they are uninhabitable.

The ministry stated in a statement on Sunday that the number of destroyed units assessed on the ground so far has reached 250,000 housing units, including 170,000 units that were completely destroyed and 80,000 units that are uninhabitable.

The ministry confirmed that its field teams have been documenting the extent of the damage since the first day of the aggression, despite the significant risks they faced, with some of their personnel losing their lives while performing their duties. After the ceasefire went into effect, the teams were able to access new areas that had been inaccessible during the war, contributing to the intensification of field assessment operations.

The statement noted that the ministry is working on linking the preliminary assessment database to the geographic information system in coordination with municipalities, to facilitate data sharing with the Ministry of Social Development and partner organizations to provide necessary interventions for shelter.

The ministry clarified that the initial assessment operations will be completed within the next two weeks, after which they will move to the detailed assessment phase in coordination with international bodies and organizations involved in reconstruction. This assessment will include all affected units, including homes that sustained partial damage but remain habitable.

The ministry also announced its intention to launch an electronic link in the coming days, allowing affected families to inquire about the status of their housing units that have been assessed, as well as the ability to register units that have not yet been documented. Field teams will follow up on these units and add them to the database according to the established assessment criteria.

In conclusion, the ministry affirmed its commitment to providing data and technical support to all local and international organizations seeking to contribute to shelter and reconstruction efforts, emphasizing its ongoing fieldwork to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

PPS: IPS has used every tool to torture and humiliate prisoners

The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said that the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) has not left any tool unused to torture and humiliate prisoners. The latest instance involved forcing prisoners to wear vests inscribed with threats, as well as bracelets with threatening messages.

In a statement released on Saturday evening, the PPS explained that, as part of the organized terrorism carried out by Israel against released Palestinian prisoners and their families, the IPS has employed every tool of humiliation, torture, and oppression against prisoners and their families. The IPS forced prisoners to wear T-shirts with threatening phrases before their release, and previously compelled them to wear bracelets with similar threatening messages.

The Society emphasized that the IPS continues to torture prisoners, while the occupation forces continue to threaten their families, which is an extension of a policy that has been used for many years, but has escalated significantly during recent release operations.

The Israeli occupation authority has not only committed crimes against prisoners but has also waged organized terror against their families through threats that have escalated to arrests and killings, as well as home invasions and acts of vandalism and destruction.

The statement highlighted that the majority of prisoners released as part of the prisoners’ exchange deal, as well as most of those released after the extermination war, suffer from health issues, necessitating the transfer of many to hospitals. Several were transferred to the hospital on their release on Saturday due to the crimes they have been subjected to, particularly torture, medical crimes, and starvation, in addition to systematic humiliation and abuse, including severe beatings carried out by suppression units aimed at either killing prisoners or causing them injuries and health issues that are difficult to treat later. Many prisoners reported that the IPS deliberately beat them savagely before their release.

Among those released on Saturday were sick prisoners who had suffered for years from medical neglect, including prisoner Mansour Muqada and prisoner Iyad Haribat.

The PPS warned that there are still more than ten thousand prisoners in the Israeli jails, and this number does not include all detainees from Gaza, where hundreds are being held without announcing their fate or whereabouts. It emphasized that time is a critical factor affecting the fate of prisoners in Israeli jails; the longer they are detained, the greater the risks to their fate.

The Society asserted that the goal of all these crimes and threats is not only to attempt to kill and steal the joy of freedom but also to undermine the status of the Palestinian prisoner in the collective Palestinian consciousness.

The first act of the released prisoners in the sixth batch of the Al-Aqsa Flood deal was to burn the clothes that the IPS had forced them to wear before their release, in a scene reflecting their rejection of the Israeli criminal practices. Witnesses reported that upon arriving at the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Yunis, the prisoners removed the white vests that the IPS had forced them to wear, which bore the Star of David and the phrase “We will not forgive and we will not forget,” and burned them amidst chants from their family members and supporters.

The prisoners expressed their outrage at the occupation’s criminal practices aimed at humiliating and degrading them, emphasizing that it is our people who will not forget and forgive the occupation’s crimes over more than seven decades.

Several released prisoners confirmed that they had experienced the most horrific forms of torture, humiliation, and starvation during their detention, pointing out that the IPS employed psychological pressure tactics, including forcing them to wear these clothes carrying Israeli symbols aimed at humiliating them.

In this context, academic and Israeli affairs expert Dr. Mohannad Mustafa noted that forcing Palestinian prisoners to wear these clothes reflects Israel’s perspective on recent events. He explained that the slogan carried by the clothes is inspired by the symbolism of the Holocaust in Jewish memory, indicating that Israel views the events of October 7, 2023, as an extension of that tragic history, according to reports from Al Jazeera.

Mustafa pointed out that Israel has not acted in this manner in its past and that this behavior reflects an unprecedented state of weakness in its political and military structure. He described forcing prisoners to wear these clothes as a “militia-like action” reflecting a decline in Israeli power, adding that this approach was not previously adopted, indicating a significant shift in how Israel deals with Palestinians and current events.

According to the Palestinian Commission of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs, the last batch of released Palestinian prisoners included 36 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, along with 333 detainees from the Gaza Strip who were detained during the Israeli aggression on the coastal enclave.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

12 Palestinians injured by Israeli forces during Nablus raid

NABLUS, February 16, 2025 (WAFA) –

12 Palestinians were injured by the occupation forces' bullets on Sunday during the confrontations that erupted after special Israeli forces stormed the old town of Nablus.

The director of the Red Crescent's Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, Amid Ahmed, told WAFA correspondent that 12 people, including an elderly man and children, were injured by the occupation forces' bullets during the storming of the old town of Nablus.

He said that eight injuries were in the lower limbs, two injuries in the hand, in addition to an injury in the pelvic area, and a child suffered shrapnel in the hand and face, while a young man was transferred after being run over by an occupation military vehicle, in addition to dozens of injuries from suffocation from toxic gas.

He pointed out that the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from entering Dthafir Al-Masry School in the vicinity of the old town.

The occupation forces also detained a young man from the old town whose identity has not yet been known.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed the old town and surrounded a house in Habs Al-Dam neighborhood, amidst explosions and heavy gunfire.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap multiple Palestinians in widespread raids across the occupied West Bank

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), February 16, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids across the West Bank over the last few hours, kidnapping several Palestinians, including men and a woman. The kidnappings took place in multiple areas, including Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Qalqilya, as part of an ongoing military crackdown on Palestinian communities.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Israeli forces kidnapped seven Palestinians during raids in the towns of Yatta and 'Hal'houl. The kidnappings involved members of the same family in Yatta, while two others were detained in 'Hal'houl. The Israeli forces also raided the town of Al-Samou' and several neighborhoods within Al-Khaleel (Hebron) city itself. These attacks involved extensive house searches, with Israeli forces reportedly ransacking the homes they entered.

Further north, in the Ramallah area, Israeli forces kidnapped three Palestinians, including a 26-year-old woman, identified as Emar Mu'hammed Al-Ghaliz, from the Jalazoan refugee camp. She was detained after Israeli troops raided her family home and caused significant damage to the property. The two men were also detained in the nearby town of Ni'leen during the raids.

In the southern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man from the village of 'Husan, west of Bethlehem. Israeli troops conducted a raid on his home, searching it before taking him into custody.

Additionally, Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the 'Ush Al-Ghurab area, east of Bethlehem, where they stopped vehicles, checked IDs, and disrupted traffic.

Meanwhile, in Qalqilya, Israeli forces raided a home and detained a Palestinian man after searching the property. The forces stormed the city from its southern entrance, using military vehicles and setting up checkpoints in key areas during the offensive.

These detentions are part of a continuing trend of increased Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank. Such attacks, which include house raids and detentions, are contributing to growing tensions in the region.

‎Israeli occupation forces kidnap seven citizens from Al-Khaleel (Hebron) governorate‎

Today, Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped seven citizens during the raid into the towns of Yatta and 'Hal'houl, south and north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).‎

‎Security sources told Wafa that the occupation forces stormed Yatta and kidnapped Bahaa Al-Deen Al-Najjar, Mu'hammed Jamal Al-Najjar, Mu'hammed 'Azmi Al-Najjar, Bakr Ma'hmoud Al-Najjar, and Amjad Fayez Al-Najjar, and from the town of 'Hal'houl in the north, they kidnapped Miqdad Bilal Al-Rayyan, and Shadi Safwan Abu Yousuf, after raiding their homes and tampering with their contents.‎

‎The Israeli occupation forces also raided the town of Al-Samou', south of Hebron, and several neighborhoods of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).‎

‎In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces continued to close the main entrances to the towns, camps and city of Hebron, and intensified their military measures in the neighborhoods of the Old City and the military and electronic checkpoints.‎

Israeli occupation forces kidnap two Palestinians, raid money exchange shop in Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), February 16, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces Sunday kidnapped two young men after raiding a money exchange shop in the town of Idthna, west of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), and seized sums of money.

The director of the Middle East Exchange Company, Sabir Tameezi, said that the occupation forces raided a money exchange shop in the town, as well as his home and the home of his two sons, Sharaf and 'Izz, and kidnapped them, while detaining and interrogating family members.

He pointed out that the occupation forces seized about 600 thousand shekels.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces fired sound bombs and toxic gas at citizens and shops in the town, which led to a number of them suffocating.

Israeli occupation forces demolish homes in Nour Shams refugee camp amid ongoing assault

TOULKARM, February 16, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces today demolished several homes in Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Toulkarm, marking the eighth consecutive day of Israeli military against the camp.

WAFA correspondent reported that the Israeli forces demolished a number of homes in the Al-Manshiya neighborhood along the main street of the camp, including the homes of Mu'hammed Jabir and 'Imaduddeen Shahada, two Palestinians who were killed by Israeli occupation forces in recent months.

Eyewitnesses told WAFA that the situation in Nour Shams camp is deteriorating rapidly, with ongoing demolitions and extensive damage to the infrastructure and civilian properties caused by Israeli bulldozers.

Israeli forces have also continued to raid homes in Al-Manshiya neighborhood, even as residents remain inside their homes, intensifying the human suffering and escalating the humanitarian crisis.

Over the past few days, Israeli forces have imposed a strict siege on the camp and its outskirts, effectively turning the area into a military zone. Residents are being forced to evacuate their homes under threat and intimidation, further deepening the crisis.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military has sent reinforcements to the area, including heavy machinery and bulldozers, and has conducted extensive patrols along Nablus Street, which connects the camp to the nearby Toulkarm refugee camp.

Escalating Israeli measures against 13 female Palestinian prisoners in Damon prison

RAMALLAH, February 16, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) has reported that the Israeli occupation regime implemented new escalating measures against 13 female Palestinian prisoners currently held at the Damon prison.

According to the statement released by the PPS on Sunday, the Palestinian female prisoners have been subjected to frequent, unexpected transfers between cells every week. The aim, the organization states, is to cause continuous disruption to the prisoners' lives, preventing any sense of stability or routine within the prison.

The statement highlighted that the primary struggle for the women prisoners is the unbearable cold. The rooms are extremely cold, with windows left open at all times, exacerbating the situation amid a significant shortage of clothing and blankets as winter sets in.

In addition to these conditions, the PPS detailed the harsh treatment from the guards, especially when the prisoners are escorted to meetings with their lawyers or visits to the clinic. The women are reportedly shackled, their eyes blindfolded, and they are often pushed or dragged in a painful manner.

The report also noted disturbing incidents, including one in which a guard entered the prisoners’ rooms during the night while they were asleep, disturbing them, especially since they were not wearing head coverings. To protect themselves from further intrusion, the prisoners have begun sleeping with head coverings.

Every Friday, a new form of provocation is carried out, where three or four of the women are taken to a very cold cell for one to two hours before being returned to their original cell.

Furthermore, prison guards have recently been leaving meals outside the cells for up to two hours before distributing them, causing the food to be cold, tasteless, and served in small portions.

Israeli assault on Jineen continues for 27th day, leaving destruction and loss of life

Jineen, February 16, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces are continuing their assault on the city of Jineen and its refugee camp for the 27th consecutive day, resulting so far in the killing of at least 25 individuals, dozens of injuries, and widespread destruction of property and infrastructure.

The skies over Jineen have been heavily patrolled by Israeli drones, while military forces have transformed civilian homes in several areas of the city into military outposts. Troops have been deployed in large numbers in the Jineen refugee camp, continuing to push deep into the heart of the camp.

As the Israeli occupation’s offensive on Jineen camp persists, the damage is becoming increasingly apparent. Simultaneously, military reinforcements continue to arrive in the area, accompanied by bulldozers and fuel tankers.  

The ongoing Israeli escalation is part of a broader military offensive that began on January 21 in Jineen and its refugee camp, as well as surrounding towns.

The Israeli occupation army expanded its assault into Toulkarm on January 27. On February 2, another assault was launched in the town of Tammun and the Fari'a refugee camp in the province of Toubas.

The escalation follows a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal in Gaza on January 19 after more than 15 months of Israeli bombardment which has killed more than 48,100 Palestinians and devastated the enclave.

Israeli occupation forces continue wide-scale offensive in Toulkarm for 21st consecutive day

TOULKARM, February 16, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces are continuing their offensive in the city of Toulkarm and its refugee camp for the 21st consecutive day, with an intensified assault on Nour Shams refugee camp for the eighth straight day. The attack has been marked by a full siege, increased troop deployment, and widespread destruction.

According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces reinforced their presence in the city overnight, deploying additional troops and military vehicles while reconnaissance drones flew at low altitudes. The forces have taken control of several homes in the eastern and northern neighborhoods, particularly those near Toulkarm refugee camp, turning them into military outposts after forcibly evacuating residents.

Large contingents of Israeli infantry units have stormed homes in both Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, particularly in the neighborhoods of Al-Manshiya, Al-Jami’, Al-Joura, Al-Shuhada, and Al-Madaris in Nour Shams refugee camp. The incursions have led to extensive property destruction, forced evacuations, and the displacement of over 15,000 residents from both camps.

Eyewitnesses reported to WAFA that Israeli forces have been using explosives to break into homes in Nour Shams, destroying doors, windows, and furniture. In some cases, residents were used as human shields during raids, while surveillance drones were flown into houses, spreading fear and panic among civilians.

In a particularly distressing incident, Israeli soldiers ransacked homes they had occupied in the Jabal Al-Nasr neighborhood of Nour Shams camp. Witnesses stated that copies of the Quran were torn apart and thrown to the ground in the home of a resident.

Last  night, Israeli occupation forces fired flares over Toulkarm refugee camp, particularly in the Al-Matar neighborhood, while simultaneously carrying out live-fire attacks and searches in the area.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack two Palestinian villages in the West Bank

A horde of the the illegal settlers carried out attacks against Palestinian citizens and homes in Ramallah and Nablus in the occupied West Bank on Saturday evening.

According to local sources, a horde of armed Jewish settlers attacked Umm Safa village in the northwest of Ramallah and opened fire at Palestinian citizens and homes.

In Nablus, another group of settlers stormed Jalud village while opening fire and tried to set a house on fire, which provoked clashes with local residents.

No one was reportedly hurt in the settler attacks.

Since the genocidal war on Gaza started on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces and settlers have intensified their violations in the occupied West Bank.

Hundreds of Palestinians across the occupied West Bank have been killed or injured by Israeli forces and settlers since October 2023.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Aqsa Mosque

Hordes of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), on Sunday morning.

According to local sources, dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers entered the Mosque in groups through its Al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police protection.

A number of settlers escorted by police officers also gathered in the eastern area of the Mosque and embarked on performing Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by the illegal Israeli settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.

Palestinian injured in attack by the illegal Israeli settlers near Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), February 16, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian citizen was injured last night after the illegal Israeli settlers attacked his vehicle in the village of Al-Maniya, east of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

According to Palestinian security sources, the victim, 'Eisa Abu Al-A'war, sustained injuries to his eyes due to flying glass shards after colonists targeted his vehicle near Al-Maniya roundabout.

In a separate incident, Israeli occupation forces raided the Al-'Ain area in the nearby village of 'Husan, west of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem). No detentions were reported during the incursion.

‎On the recovery bed at Al-Mizan Specialized Hospital in Al-Khaleel (Hebron), in the southern West Bank, Jannat Faysal Al-Mutawar (8 years old) lies with medical bandages covering her eyes, hoping that treatment will help her recover her sight that was kidnapped by a bullet fired by the Israeli occupation soldiers.‎

‎On 11‎‎ February, the Israeli occupation forces raided Bait 'Ainoun village, northeast of Hebron, and fired live ammunition indiscriminately, killing 'Abdullah Murad 'Husain Farroukh (19 years old) from the neighboring town of Sa'ir from a serious bullet wound to the chest, and wounding another young man (22 years old) with a bullet in the abdomen, while Jannat was wounded by shrapnel in her eyes and face when she was hugging her little brother Mohammed (3 years old) inside her room in the house.‎

‎Jannat's family posted a short video of herself on the hospital's recovery bed singing innocently and unable to open her eyes: "Baba mountain balloon, my eyes, my eyes," clinging to the glimmer of hope that her eyes will see the light again.‎

‎With a trembling voice and eyes filled with tears, her father, Faisal, the developer, tells Wafa the chapters of the crime committed by the occupation against his child: "Jannat is the eldest of my sons and has two brothers, who were all inside the house when the tragedy began, as her younger brother Muhammad was standing on the bed in the bedroom, opposite a window overlooking the courtyard of the house, in conjunction with the occupation forces' incursion into the area."‎

‎He adds: "Jannat rushed to her brother to protect him and keep him away from the window, after she saw one of the occupation soldiers pointing his rifle at him, and managed to lower him, and as soon as the task was accomplished and raised her head, then a bullet fired by that soldier penetrates the window glass into the bedroom, and hits her scalp."‎

‎The bullet exploded, and its fragments mixed with glass scattered from the window, and a large part of it settled in the child's eyes and face.‎

‎The developer continues: "To the sound of bullets and screaming, Jannat's mother rushed to the room, and Jannat had closed her eyes, and her face was colored with blood, screaming and screaming, so she hurried out, but the deployment of the occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the house and their shooting towards the citizens, did not enable her to go out in search of help, so Jannat remained bleeding until one of her uncles was able to reach her and transfer her to Al-Mezan Hospital, after he traveled a long distance and took alternative routes due to a checkpoint for the occupation forces that closes the entrance to the town. completely, and the movement of citizens is prohibited."‎

‎Upon her arrival at the hospital, Jannat began a journey of treatment that seemed to be protracted to regain all or part of her sight.‎

‎The doctor supervising her treatment, ophthalmologist at Al-Mizan Hospital, 'Alaa Al-Talbishi, explained to Wafa that Jannat arrived at the hospital with bullet and glass fragments in the eyes and face, and her eyes were severely damaged, noting that her visual acuity is almost non-existent, and she needs to perform several operations.‎

‎He adds: "She underwent surgery on the right eye, during which shrapnel was removed and the eye wound was closed, and as a result the visual acuity in this eye improved very slightly, but it is expected that the vision in it has been significantly damaged, but there is hope for simple vision in this eye. As for the left eye, it will be operated on to remove the shrapnel, and there is very little or no visibility in this eye."‎

‎Regarding the psychological state of the child Jannat, her father pointed out that after the incident, she became suffering from severe trauma symptoms, and living a very difficult psychological condition, suffering from bouts of fear and panic, and constantly telling him that she sees nightmares and imagines that there are mutants chasing her and trying to kill her and rob her eyes, as if she describes the occupation soldiers and what they did to her.‎

‎Since the beginning of its comprehensive aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli occupation has killed about 18,000 children and injured thousands of people, including children whose limbs were amputated or lost their sight and suffered permanent disabilities, in addition to dozens of cases of arrest, detention and abuse, deprivation of food and drink, and the right to play, education and health, in violation of all international laws and norms.‎

‎Abuse‎‎ and endangerment of children are full-fledged war crimes, flagrant violations and violations of international humanitarian law, in particular the Fourth Geneva Convention (1949), Protocols I and II to the Geneva Conventions (1977), the Hague Convention (1954), the Declaration of the Rights of the Child (1959) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989).‎
