While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Gaza death toll passes 46,500 as Israel kills 32 more Palestinians

Ahmed Asmar

11.01.2025

Anadolu, ANKARA

At least 32 more Palestinians were killed in relentless Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, bringing the overall death toll since October 2023 to 46,537, the Palestinian Health Ministry in the enclave said on Saturday.

A ministry statement added that some 109,571 others were injured in the ongoing assault.

“Israeli forces killed 32 people and injured 193 others in five massacres of families in the last 48 hours,” the ministry said.

“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

The Health Ministry stated in its Saturday update that 499 additional Palestinians, whose names were documented and verified by the ministry's relevant committee, have been added to the overall death toll, bringing the total to 46,537.

Israel has continued a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023 despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire.

The second year of genocide in Gaza has drawn growing international condemnation, with officials and institutions labeling the attacks and blocking of aid deliveries as a deliberate attempt to destroy a population.

In November 2024, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its deadly war on Gaza.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 463

Saturday 11-January-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 463rd consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, has entered day 99, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

Local sources said that eight citizens were martyred and 30 others were injured when the Israeli army bombed a school sheltering displaced families in Jabalia al-Balad in northern Gaza.

The Israeli army also bombed a house belonging to the family of al-Hayya in ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood in Gaza City, killing two people and injuring others.

Another Israeli strike in Khuza’a town, east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, killed a civilian and injured others.

A citizen was also killed and two others were injured when an Israeli warplane bombed an apartment near al-Kanz Mosque in al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

In a related context, the health ministry said on Saturday that the Israeli army committed five massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, and killed and injured at least 225 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed several towns and cities in the West Bank at dawn Saturday, arresting 15 Palestinians, including a woman.

Clashes erupted in Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil, shortly after IOF troops broke into the camp. A young man was injured during the clashes.

The Israeli forces also stormed Idhna town, west of al-Khalil, and Kafel Haris and Deir Istiya towns, west of Salfit. Several local homes were stormed during the raids.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli army also gathered and investigated dozens of young men in Deir Istya town after handcuffing them. They were later released.

Before that, the Israeli occupation army arrested 15 Palestinians, including a woman, and the family of a wanted Palestinian who the occupation forces claim is one of the perpetrators of the “Funduk” shooting attack east of Qalqilya, on January 6, which resulted in the killing of 3 Israelis.

Similar raids were reported in Hajja and Deir al-Hatab towns east of Qalqilya and Qabatiya town, south of Jenin.

In Nablus, local sources said that the Israeli forces detained a number of Palestinians in the home of the martyr Jaafar Dababseh in Talluza, north of the city.

The IOF also stormed Husan and Al-Khader towns, west of Bethlehem, amid heavy fire of teargas bombs.

Similar raids were reported in Ni’lin and Nabi Saleh villages in Ramallah, where IOF seized two vehicles.

Since the start of the Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, 847 Palestinians were killed, 6,700 were injured in the West Bank, and 14,300 others were arrested.

Gaza: Thousands of bodies evaporated entirely or partially following Israeli strikes

Saturday 11-January-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Gaza’s civil defense service has said that bodies of at least 7,820 civilians evaporated completely or partially in bombed areas across the Gaza Strip, accounting for 10 percent of the death toll from Israeli attacks.

In a report on Friday, the civil defense service described the disappearance and melting of a large number of martyrs’ bodies a result of the explosives used by the Israeli occupation army in its attacks on Gaza as “horrific massacres.”

The civil defense service also said that 10 percent of the Israeli attacks cause parts of the victims’ bodies to evaporate, adding that its rescue crews were unable to retrieve many bodies from bombed sites after they completely or partially vanished.

For its part, the health ministry in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation army had been using, since the first day of its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, lethal weapons that produce extreme heat when exploding and lead to the evaporation of bodies.

“A large portion of these lethal weapons are internationally prohibited and have very high destructive properties and heavy weights … they are used to target tents sheltering displaced people and shelters, which are places that are not fortified against regular bombs. So what would be the fate of those who are attacked with such lethal ammunition?” director of the ministry Dr. Muneer Al-Bursh said in a statement on Friday.

In another context, Gaza’s civil defense service said that many of its freighting and rescue vehicles stopped operating in Gaza City, central Gaza, and Khan Younus in the south due to the lack of maintenance parts and equipment necessary to repair them.

In a statement on Saturday, the civil defense service explained that the Israeli army destroyed most of the equipment and spare parts that were used for the maintenance of its vehicles during its attacks on Gaza.

The civil defense service called on international and regional humanitarian organizations to urgently provide it with its needs of maintenance equipment and spare parts before more vehicles break down.

The civil defense service also pointed out that over half of its vehicles across Gaza stopped working due to the lack of fuel needed to operate them.

Israeli occupation forces intervened to provide protection for the colonists, deploying a heavy barrage of gunfire and tear gas against the villagers, leading to the injury of the young man in his foot.

Israeli forces injure youth, detain another in southern West Bank town

HEBRON, January 11, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupying forces Saturday evening injured a Palestinian youth and detained another in the Dura town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that the occupying forces barged their way into and erected checkpoints in the town before detaining a youth.

During ensuing confrontations, the heavily armed soldiers fired barrages of live ammunition and teargas canisters toward protestors, injuring one with a live round in the thigh.

The casualty was rushed to a hospital for urgent treatment.

Meanwhile, the occupying forces stormed al-Majd village, west of Hebron, simultaneously while firing volleys of concussion and teargas canisters.

They ordered the closure of local stores and set up a military checkpoint in the downtown part of the village, stopping Palestinian-registered vehicles and inspecting passengers’ ID cards.

Earlier today, the occupying forces detained another Palestinian after shooting him in the eastern area of Nablus, and some ten others in multiple raids across the West Bank.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

According to the latest figures from Addameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 10,400 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centres, including 320 child prisoners and 88 female prisoners.

This number includes approximately 3,376 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Addameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one.

Israeli forces abduct several Palestinians near Nablus

NABLUS, January 11, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli special forces Saturday abducted several Palestinians from the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli special forces sneaked their way into the vicinity of an-Najah National University Hospital, located on Asira Street in the city, and besieged a vehicle before detaining all those who were aboard it.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces rounded up a Palestinian at the permanently staffed al-Muraba’ah checkpoint, southwest of Nablus.

Earlier, the occupying forces detained four others from Turmus Ayya village, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.

A Palestinian young man suffered a bullet injury on Saturday morning when extremist Jewish settlers escorted by soldiers attacked Yatma town, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, a horde of armed settlers attacked Palestinian homes in Yatma town under military protection before local residents tried to fend them off.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces intensified their security measures on the road connecting Jenin, Nablus and Tubas, where they intercepted cars and detained many passengers for security checks.

In a separate incident, another horde of settlers wreaked havoc on swaths of agricultural land and destroyed olive trees belonging to a local resident in Sahel Qa’un area in the northern Jordan Valley.

Israeli colonists cut olive trees in northern Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, January 11, 2025 (WAFA) -

Israeli colonists attacked the Qa'oun plain near Bardala village in the northern Jordan Valley, located northeast of the occupied West Bank, last night, cutting down olive trees, local sources reported.

Muataz Bisharat, who oversees the settlement portfolio in the Tubas Governorate, stated that a group of Israeli colonists stormed the area, damaging olive trees belonging to Sultan Swafta, a local Palestinian resident. The attack targeted an area of approximately 10 dunums, causing significant destruction to the farm.

The region has witnessed a series of attacks in recent weeks by Israeli colonists, who recently established a new outpost in the area.

These incidents are part of a broader pattern of violations targeting residents in the northern Jordan Valley, one of the most heavily targeted areas by colonists and the Israeli military.

The ongoing violations have taken various forms, including the destruction of crops, burning of lands, and uprooting of fruit-bearing trees.

Local activists and residents view these actions as a deliberate attempt to weaken the resilience of Palestinian citizens in the region and force them to leave their land.

IOF storms Palestinian martyr’s house near Nablus

Saturday 11-January-2025

NABLUS, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the house of the Al-Qassam Brigades martyr, Jafar Dabbasa, in Al-Badhan area near Nablus.

Local sources reported that the IOF storming of the house led to the outbreak of confrontations in its vicinity, noting that it is the second time that the IOF attack the martyr’s house in less than 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the IOF opened fire at the citizens, using live bullets, near the Deir Sharaf checkpoint, west of Nablus.

Israeli troops have been closing the Deir Sharaf military checkpoint since morning hours and shooting towards the citizens awaiting the reopening of the checkpoint, amid a suffocating traffic congestion in the area.

The IOF intensified security measures at the military barriers spread in the vicinity of Nablus, closed some of them, and installed others along the road that links Jenin to Nablus and Tubas.

In a related context, the IOF tightened military measures at the Tayasir checkpoint, east of Tubas, blocking movement and causing a traffic jam for long hours.

Several Palestinian villages sustain injuries in colonists’ raid near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, January 10, 2025 (WAFA) –

Several Palestinians Saturday evening sustained injuries in a colonists’ raid in Turmus Ayya village, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli colonists, under the protection of the occupation forces, raided the village, prompting the villagers to fend off the raid and triggering confrontations.

They added that Israeli soldiers opened gunfire toward the villagers, injuring three by rubber-coated steel bullets.

The soldiers detained four others from the village.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

There are over 700,000 Israeli colonists living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Israeli occupation forces tighten restrictions on movement around Nablus

NABLUS, January 11, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces intensified their military measures today, imposing severe restrictions on the movement of Palestinians around the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that the forces tightened procedures at existing checkpoints, closed some of them entirely, and set up new ones on key roads connecting Jenin and Nablus, as well as Tubas and Nablus.

These measures have caused significant traffic congestion, restricted the movement of Palestinians, and led to long delays for identity checks and vehicle inspections.

The restrictions have disrupted daily life in the area, further exacerbating challenges faced by local commuters who depend on these routes for access to essential services.

Over the last months, Israeli occupation forces have been imposing similar measures across the occupied West Bank, including the use of iron gates and earth barriers at the entrances to various towns and villages.

These restrictions have a direct impact on the daily lives of Palestinians and their ability to move freely within their own territories.

Italian authorities seize shipment of medicines headed for Gaza and Syria

Saturday 11-January-2025

NAPOLI, (PIC)

Italian authorities have seized a shipment of medicines intended for victims of the Israeli genocide in Gaza and the war in Syria, claiming that the producing company violated “Made in Italy” standards, prompting the defense to appeal to the Court of Cassation.

On December 28, the criminal division of the Ravenna Court of Appeal, presided over by Judge Piervittorio Farinella, rejected an appeal request from Advanced Biomedical, a pharmaceutical company based in Cagliari, Sardinia, regarding the release of a shipment of medicines that was primarily destined for Lebanon and would have been shipped and delivered to some humanitarian organizations to assist civilians affected by the war in Syria. It appears there was also an intention to leak part of it to Gaza.

Customs authorities at the port of Ravenna, northeastern Italy, seized a shipment on October 30, 2024, containing over 100,000 bottles of the drug Fortus for sore throat and cough, 120 mg, weighing more than 19 tons and valued at 96,000 euros. Advanced Biomedical was accused of violating “Made in Italy” rules by labeling a product from the Republic of San Marino as “Made in Italy.”

There were suspicions that the product had been packaged in San Marino and ended up being labeled as an Italian product. Tracing the production chain revealed that Fortus is manufactured by Advanced Biomedical, whose legal representative and one of its owners is Hani Al-Ramahi, a Jordanian-Palestinian pharmacist holding Italian citizenship.

Al-Ramahi appealed to the judges, emphasizing that his goal is to ensure these medicines reach war zones for the benefit of the populations that need them to protect themselves from toxic dust generated by bombs, according to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Before the Court of Appeal in Ravenna, lawyer Luca Sanyo, representing the Sardinian pharmacist, requested the release of the shipment and submitted a statement from consultant Professor Silvio Lavagna, a faculty member at the University of Rome’s School of Pharmacy, who excluded “the possibility that the origin of the active ingredient of the drug is San Marino,” the country where the remaining part of the drug’s production process was carried out.

Lavagna added that the country of origin “for the Fortus drug formulation, which consists of 63.5% Italian-sourced raw materials and excipients, is therefore Italy.”

According to documents provided by the lawyer, Advanced Biomedical assigned the development of the drug to Health Progress, based in Teramo, while limited packaging operations were carried out in San Marino, without affecting the validity of the “Made in Italy” label. In light of the court’s decision to continue the seizure of the pharmaceutical shipment, the defense for the Italian company announced its intention to appeal to the Court of Cassation.

UNRWA is the custodian of Palestinian refugees' identity, says Commissioner-General

NEW YORK, January 11, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, emphasized the agency's vital role as "the custodian of Palestinian refugees' identity and history."

In a statement published on UNRWA’s platform on X, Lazzarini affirmed that family records of Palestinian refugees have been preserved and archived over the past 75 years.

He noted that, thanks to the efforts of UNRWA teams, thousands of archival files from Gaza and the West Bank were transferred to a secure location and digitized.

Lazzarini stressed that safeguarding these records is essential for protecting the rights of Palestinian refugees under international law.

He further underscored the urgent need for a peaceful diplomatic solution to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including a definitive resolution of the plight of Palestinian refugees.

MSF: Gaza patients, including newborns, at risk as hospitals run low on fuel

Saturday 11-January-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The international humanitarian group Médecins Sans Frontières, also known as Doctors Without Borders or MSF, warned in a recent statement that newborn babies and other patients are at dire risk as southern Gaza’s Nasser Hospital has almost run out of fuel.

The group warned that electricity for the MSF-supported Nasser Hospital, where MSF members are providing emergency, maternity, pediatric, burn, and trauma care, may be cut off for some hospital departments leaving patients without “lifesaving care.”

The hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit is currently treating children and newborns who are reliant on mechanical ventilation and incubators. All of these young patients are dependent on electricity from fuel generators, MSF said.

The Nasser Hospital, as well as two other facilities in the Gaza Strip, Al-Aqsa Hospital and the European Gaza Hospital, are about to stop providing services due to the lack of fuel, MSF reported Wednesday.

“It is an impossible situation, because even if we prioritize the little fuel that is left to the most urgent departments, we know that they will not last more than 36 to 48 hours,” Julie Faucon, MSF medical team leader in Gaza, said.

“While some patients are hanging on by a thread, the lack of sustained electricity is impacting the level of care we can provide to those with burns and trauma,” Faucon added.

For her part, Pascale Coissard, MSF emergency coordinator, warned that without fuel, Gaza newborns are at risk of losing their lives.

“The babies in incubators rely on constant electricity for the ventilators that are keeping them alive. They are already in an extremely vulnerable state, and any transfer to other hospitals would directly endanger their lives. Putting the lives of children at risk like this is unacceptable and is a consequence of Israel’s ongoing blockade and continuous looting of lifesaving supplies,” Coissard explained.

MSF called on all parties to do more to facilitate the entry of fuel into Gaza and to ensure its safe delivery to medical facilities.

“The dismantling of Gaza’s health system by the Israeli blockade, which is endangering people’s lives, must stop immediately,” MSF underscored.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
