In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Andrew Cuomo and his surrogates that he characterized as “racist and baseless.” Encircled by faith leaders outside a Bronx mosque, Mamdani spoke in emotional terms about the “indignities” long faced by the city’s Muslim population, choking back tears as he described his aunt’s decision not to ride the subway after the Sept. 11 attacks because she didn't feel safe being seen in a religious head covering. He recounted how, when he first entered politics, an uncle gently suggested he keep his faith to himself. “These are lessons that so many Muslim New Yorkers have been taught,” Mamdani said. “And over these last few days, these lessons have become the closing messages of Andrew Cuomo, Curtis Sliwa and Eric Adams.” At a news conference later Friday, Cuomo accused Mamdani of “playing the victim” for political purposes and denied that Islamophobia existed on a wide scale in New York. Throughout the race, Mamdani, a democratic socialist, has been criticized by Cuomo and others over his criticism of Israel's government which he had accused of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. But the tone of those attacks have amped up in recent days, drawing allegations from some Democrats that Cuomo’s campaign is leaning into Islamophobia in the final stretch of the campaign. Appearing on a conservative radio station Thursday, Cuomo appeared to laugh along at host Sid Rosenberg's suggestion that Mamdani would “be cheering” another 9/11 attack. “That’s another problem,” Cuomo replied. A Cuomo social media account posted, then removed, a video depicting Mamdani eating rice with his hands and describing his supporters as criminals. A campaign spokesperson said the video was posted in error. Yesterday, Andrew Cuomo laughed and agreed when a radio host The Associated Press In emotional speech, Zohran Mamdani defends Muslim identity against ‘racist and baseless’ attacks 0 View on Watch At an event endorsing the former governor, Mayor Eric Adams invoked the possibility of terrorist attacks in New York City, seeming to suggest — without explanation — they would be more likely under a Mamdani administration. “New York can’t be Europe. I don’t know what is wrong with people,” Adams said, standing alongside Cuomo. “You see what’s playing out in other countries because of Islamic extremism.” At a debate earlier this week, Sliwa, the Republican candidate, falsely smeared Mamdani as a supporter of “global jihad.” Asked about Rosenberg's comments, Cuomo said he “didn’t take the remarks seriously at the time.” “Of course I think it’s an offensive comment. But it did not come out of my mouth,” he added. Messages left with Adams' and Sliwa's campaign were not immediately returned. In his speech Friday, Mamdani said he was aiming his remarks not at political opponents but at his fellow Muslim New Yorkers. “The dream of every Muslim is simply to be treated the same as any other New Yorker,” he said. “And yet for too long we have been told to ask for less than that, and to be satisfied with whatever little we receive.” “No more,” he said. To that end, Mamdani said he would further embrace his Muslim identity, a decision he said he consciously avoided at the start of his campaign. “I thought that if I behaved well enough, or bit my tongue enough in the face of racist, baseless attacks, all while returning back to my central message, it would allow me to be more than just my faith,” Mamdani said. “I was wrong. No amount of redirection is ever enough.” He continued: “I will not change who I am, how I eat, or the faith that I’m proud to call my own. But there is one thing that I will change. I will no longer look for myself in the shadows. I will find myself in the light.” Mamdani, who won the primary in stunning fashion, has faced skepticism from some in the Democratic establishment, particularly over his criticism of Israel. On Friday, Mamdani earned the endorsement of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Cuomo told reporters that Mamdani's criticism of Israel had made Jewish people afraid to leave their homes. He also rejected Mamdani's claim that Muslim New Yorkers have been made to feel uncomfortable in their own city. “Don’t tell me New Yorkers are Islamophobic. They’re not,” Cuomo said. “What he is doing is the oldest, dirtiest political trick in the book: divide people,” Cuomo said. Badran said in a press statement on Friday that the recent gathering included broad participation from the main Palestinian factions, underlining Egypt’s continued sponsorship of national dialogue and reconciliation efforts. “Through bilateral and collective discussions with various factions, we reached a general consensus on a unified vision to implement the agreement in a way that serves the interests of the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza,” Badran said. He stressed that the Sharm El-Shaikh agreement was not spontaneous but the result of ongoing dialogue among Palestinian groups. The statements issued by the factions, he noted, reaffirmed a unified stance and shared vision. According to Badran, this was the first meeting since the signing of the Sharm El-Shaikh deal and aimed to outline practical steps for the next phase, including all issues and files discussed during the talks. He added that the ultimate goal of the agreement was to end the genocide and devastation inflicted upon the Palestinian people, saying, “We are determined not to return to the previous situation and feel reassured by the efforts of mediators, particularly Egypt.” “As Palestinians, we are fully committed to implementing the agreement in good faith, and we appreciate Egypt’s crucial role and the mediations that have helped stabilize the ceasefire and protect our people’s interests,” Badran concluded. *** Two martyrs in Israeli airstrike on El-Nabatiya province, southern Lebanon Friday 24-October-2025 BEIRUT, (PIC) Two Lebanese civilians were martyred on Thursday in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of 'Arab Saleem in El-Nabatiya province, southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA). The latest attack raises the number of people killed in Israeli violations of the ceasefire to four. The NNA identified the victims as 43-year-old Mahir Younus and 82-year-old Zainab Mousa, both killed in what it described as “an Israeli air assault on 'Arab Saleem.” According to the agency, the Israeli strike hit a room near the town’s municipal building and its primary school, inflicting severe damage on surrounding structures. Earlier Thursday, the agency reported that two other people were martyred and several injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes on multiple areas in eastern Lebanon. Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory have intensified in recent days, including air raids and fire belts across the country’s south and east. *** UNRWA stresses need to maintain Gaza ceasefire to restore education for children NEW YORK, October 24, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has emphasized the urgent need to uphold the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip in order to restore a safe educational environment for children after two years of devastation caused by Israeli military operations. In remarks shared by UNRWA on X, Deputy Director of UNRWA Affairs in Gaza, John Whyte, said that Palestinian children in Gaza need education, and “we must do everything possible to make that happen.” Whyte noted that UNRWA remains the largest provider of emergency education in Gaza and is working to create spaces in some schools to resume classes. Since the ceasefire came into effect, he explained, UNRWA teams have been trying to find space in some schools to provide education for around 10,000 children daily, compared to about 60,000 during the previous ceasefire. He added that the agency is seeking to expand its operations further, including offering online education, with up to 300,000 children in Gaza expected to register for remote learning programs. Whyte stressed the importance of maintaining the ceasefire to ensure that all children in Gaza can return to a learning environment after two years of war, trauma, and hardship. M.N. *** UNRWA criticizes Marco Rubio’s remarks and reaffirms its vital role in Gaza Friday 24-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has criticized US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s statements in which he declared that the agency “will have no role in relief operations in the Gaza Strip.” UNRWA asserted that its presence is essential and irreplaceable in delivering humanitarian support to Palestinians. In a post on its official account on X (formerly Twitter), UNRWA emphasized that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) issued a clear ruling last Wednesday, affirming that no other organization can replace UNRWA in supporting the residents of Gaza. The UN agency described its presence as “vital to meeting the urgent humanitarian needs in the occupied Palestinian territories.” Rubio’s remarks came during a press conference held at the headquarters of the “US-Israeli Civil-Military Coordination Center” in the Kiryat Gat settlement. He stated that “eight to ten aid organizations will operate in Gaza, but UNRWA will not be among them,” repeating Israeli claims that the agency is “affiliated with Hamas.” However, these comments contradict the ceasefire plan proposed by US President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza. Clause 8 of that plan explicitly states that “aid distribution in the Gaza Strip will take place solely through the United Nations and its agencies, the Red Crescent, and internationally neutral organizations.” Israel had previously made similar accusations against UNRWA, alleging that some of its employees participated in the October 7, 2023, attacks, claims that the agency strongly denied. The International Court of Justice in The Hague affirmed that Israel had not provided any evidence to support those allegations. Rubio’s comments align with Israel’s continued opposition to UNRWA’s return to operations in Gaza, despite the ICJ’s ruling. Israeli state broadcaster Kan quoted a government official as saying, “All UN agencies that previously worked in Gaza have failed to perform their tasks effectively.” The official added that Israel had communicated its position to Washington, hoping the US would adopt the same stance. *** Shaikh 'Ikrima Sabri warns of El-Aqsa Mosque collapse, due to the ongoing Israeli excavations beneath and around its compound Friday 24-October-2025 El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) Shaikh 'Ikrima Sabri, the preacher of El-Aqsa Mosque and head of the Higher Islamic Council in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), has issued a stark warning about the imminent threat facing El-Aqsa Mosque due to ongoing Israeli excavations beneath and around its compound. Shaikh Sabri emphasized that what is happening is a systematic campaign aimed at erasing the Mosque’s presence and altering its Islamic identity, all while the world remains disturbingly silent in the face of these violations. He pointed out that the Israeli occupation is rapidly working to establish infrastructure that undermines the Mosque’s foundations, causing serious cracks in its walls and courtyards, as part of a larger plan to Judaize the site and eventually build the so-called “Temple” on the ruins of El-Aqsa Mosque. His warnings came as tens of thousands of worshipers gathered for Friday prayers at El-Aqsa Mosque, where a special funeral prayer was held in absentia for the martyrs of Gaza and the West Bank who were killed in Israel’s ongoing aggression. Despite strict military restrictions, thousands of worshipers from El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and 1948 occupied Palestine (Israel) made their way to the Mosque, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to their right to worship at El-Aqsa Mosque and their determination to remain steadfast there. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces imposed harsh restrictions and set up metal barriers at the entrances to the Old City and the Mosque, detaining dozens of young men, confiscating their IDs for extended periods, and preventing many from entering the holy Islamic site. These measures are part of an ongoing campaign to suppress and restrict Palestinians in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and worshipers at El-Aqsa Mosque. *** PGMO: Israel blocks foreign journalists from entering Gaza to silence truth, conceal war crimes Friday 24-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza has condemned Israel’s continued ban on foreign journalists entering the Gaza Strip, calling it an attempt to suppress the truth and cover up its crimes. The statement also rejected the recent decision by Israel’s so-called Supreme Court, which granted the Israeli government additional time to respond to petitions demanding access for international media. In its statement on Friday, the PGMO said the decision reflects Israel’s ongoing efforts to evade accountability and reinforce a policy of total media blackout imposed since the beginning of its genocidal war on Gaza. “The aim is to bury the truth and conceal the atrocities committed against every aspect of life, people, trees, and stones,” the statement read. The PGMO noted that Israel’s ban on foreign journalists for the third year running constitutes a crime against freedom of expression and the public’s right to know. It described the measure as further evidence that Israel is far removed from any democratic values. “This behavior is yet another indictment of the occupation, which proves daily that it fears the truth, seeks to silence journalists who witness it, and blind the eyes of the world’s media,” the PGMO added. The Office pointed out that despite Israel’s attempt to hide its crimes, the world has already seen the reality through the courageous work of Gaza’s journalists and local media outlets. “These journalists fulfilled their professional and moral duty despite the enormous cost of the genocide, 255 journalists killed, 48 imprisoned, and dozens injured since October 2023,” the statement said. The PGMO described the ongoing ban as a “stain of shame” not only on Israel but also on international institutions that claim to defend press freedom and human rights yet have failed to take meaningful action. It called on the International Federation of Journalists, human rights organizations, and the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression to pressure Israel and its backers to end this repressive policy, saying it “disgraces their charters and moral commitments.” The statement concluded by expressing confidence that allowing foreign journalists into Gaza would strengthen the authentic Palestinian narrative, expose Israel’s fabrications, and reinforce its global isolation. “The truth of our people’s suffering during two years of genocide cannot be silenced,” it affirmed. *** ****** Leaked photos reveal degrading treatment of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli Negev prison Friday 24-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Circulating footage has revealed that Palestinian prisoners have been subjected to abuse and mistreatment at the hands of Israeli security personnel inside the Ketziot prison, located in the Negev Desert. The conditions in which they are held have been described as harsh and degrading. The Hebrew-language website Kikar HaShabbat published what it called a “major exposé,” including images from the prison showing scenes of violent searches and humiliating treatment of Palestinian detainees. The site reported that Israeli photographer Haim Goldberg was allowed in Ketziot Prison in February 2025, the largest detention facility in Israel, to document what he described as the “daily life of security prisoners.” The published photos showed several Palestinian detainees in distressing conditions, appearing restrained or seated on the ground in a manner that highlights the harsh treatment they endure. The photos also revealed cramped detention spaces and strict search procedures, reflecting a reality that undermines human dignity. The report noted that some of the detainees seen in the footage were later released as part of the most recent prisoner exchange deal, which included the release of all living Israeli captives and remains from Gaza. In the same context, the report stated that Israeli authorities recently allowed the release of these photos and videos taken from the prison facilities. On October 23, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir showcased the living conditions of Palestinian prisoners, boasting about denying them even their most basic rights. Ben Gvir appeared in a video standing in front of a narrow prison cell in Ketziot, pointing through a small window to three detainees seated on the floor with hunched backs, a scene that sparked widespread outrage. Israel continues to detain over 10,000 Palestinian prisoners, including women and children, amid ongoing reports from human rights organizations detailing torture and medical neglect in Israeli prisons. *** Two Palestinians killed in Israeli drone strike in Gaza Friday 24-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Two Palestinian civilians were killed on Friday evening after an Israeli drone targeted a group of people near the Qastal Towers, east of Dair El-Bala'h city in central Gaza. The attack marks a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement. Local sources confirmed that emergency teams recovered the bodies of the two martyrs and transported them to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Since the ceasefire was announced in the Gaza Strip on October 10, 2025, Israeli forces have killed 82 Palestinians and injured 303 others in repeated violations of the ceasefire, since October 11, 2025. *** Two Palestinians killed in Israeli drone strike in central Gaza GAZA, October 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed on Friday evening in a drone strike carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in central Gaza, according to local sources, marking a serious breach of the ceasefire agreement. WAFA correspondent said that an Israeli drone fired missiles at a group of civilians near the Al-Qastal Towers area, east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, killing two people. Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, having killed at least 90 Palestinians and injured more than 130 others since the ceasefire took effect on October 11. M.N. *** Gazan child injured by war remnant: Police urge caution Friday 24-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Khan Younus Police Department issued a warning on Friday against tampering with deformed objects and remnants left by the Israeli occupation army, following the injury of a child on Thursday evening due to the explosion of a suspicious object he had interacted with. In a statement, the police said that a 12-year-old boy sustained shrapnel injuries across his body after a suspicious object exploded while he was handling it. The incident underscores the need for extreme caution and heightened parental vigilance, along with repeated awareness efforts for children. The statement added that the Explosives Engineering Unit of Khan Younus Police carried out several operations on Thursday to neutralize the danger posed by suspicious objects and remnants of the Israeli occupation forces. These included an MK-type dropped bomb in the town of Al-Qarara and an artillery shell in 'Hamad City. War remnants and unexploded ordnance left behind by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continue to pose a constant threat to Palestinian lives. The lack of necessary tools and equipment to deal with these hazards, due to the blockade imposed on the Strip, further exacerbates the danger facing civilians. The Israeli occupation forces committed horrific acts of genocide against 2.4 million civilians in Gaza, targeting them with 200,000 tons of explosives, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza. *** Civil Defense: Ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza demands urgent reconstruction Friday 24-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Civil Defense Department in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the humanitarian situation in the enclave remains unchanged since the ceasefire was declared two weeks ago, noting that no substantial developments have occurred on the ground. In a press statement received by Safa Agency on Friday, the Civil Defense said that only a limited number of aid trucks have been allowed in, and these provide merely the bare minimum to meet the needs of the suffering population. It added that many homes remain destroyed, bodies are still trapped under the rubble, and roads remain blocked with debris, while Civil Defense teams continue to work with minimal resources amid widespread devastation. The Civil Defense stressed the urgent need for the international community and humanitarian organizations to act immediately to begin reconstruction efforts, remove the debris caused by the massive destruction, and bring in heavy machinery and equipment necessary to clear roads and recover bodies, as part of efforts to alleviate the ongoing humanitarian suffering across all areas. It affirmed that the continued prevention of necessary rescue and debris-removal equipment from entering Gaza worsens the humanitarian crisis, hinders field efforts, and leaves many families in tragic conditions under extremely harsh living and health circumstances. The Civil Defense explained that despite the tireless work of its personnel under severely limited conditions, the scale of destruction to infrastructure and residential areas requires immediate international intervention. It also called on all relevant international parties to facilitate the entry of heavy engineering equipment through the crossings without restrictions or delays, and to ensure safe humanitarian corridors for rescue and medical teams operating in the devastated areas. Furthermore, the Civil Defense emphasized the urgent need for logistical and financial support for debris removal, body recovery, and the rehabilitation of essential infrastructure, while ensuring legal and humanitarian protection for all field workers, including Civil Defense teams. The statement concluded by affirming the Civil Defense’s full readiness to cooperate with all international and humanitarian bodies to save lives and restore life to what the war has destroyed in Gaza. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Palestinian youth succumbs to serious injuries caused by IOFs gunfire in 'Askar refugee camp Friday 24-October-2025 NABLUS, (PIC) The Palestinian Red Crescent announced on Friday morning the death of 15-year-old Palestinian youth Mu'hammed Abu Hunain, from New 'Askar Camp, in the city of Nablus, northern West Bank. He succumbed to injuries sustained Thursday evening during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) following their raid on the camp. The Red Crescent confirmed that the youth was critically wounded after IOFs opened fire on him during the clashes. His death was announced Friday morning due to the severity of his injuries. Since the beginning of 2025, Palestine has recorded 20,526 martyrs and 36,140 injuries resulting from Israeli assaults. Additionally, there have been 5,052 cases of Israeli kidnappings of Palestinian civilians, 994 structures demolished, and 2,153 documented settler attacks on Palestinian citizens, their lands, and properties. *** Violent Israeli raids across West Bank cities Friday 24-October-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) and settlers stormed several cities and refugee camps across the West Bank, most notably Balata Camp east of Nablus, carrying out violent assaults, torching civilian vehicles and property, and conducting arrests. Local sources confirmed that the IOFs raided Balata refugee camp, deploying heavily throughout various neighborhoods, firing live bullets and stun grenades. Israeli occupation forces also launched widespread raids Thursday evening in various areas of the West Bank, storming homes, firing flares, and kidnapping two young men. In Jineen, the IOFs stormed the city center and kidnapped a young man. Another raid took place at a home in the town of Maythaloan southeast of Jineen, and in Qabatya to the south. In Nablus, the IOFs stormed the 'Askar and Balata refugee camps, spreading through their alleyways, and also entered the town of El-Nasiriyah east of the city, with no kidnappings reported. On Thursday evening, the Israeli troops also raided the town of 'Hizma northeast of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli occupation soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas during the raid. Local sources confirmed that the IOFs stopped and searched several young men during the incursion, assaulting them physically, though no kidnappings were officially reported. In Toulkarm, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young man in the Wadi area of the town of Irtah. The IOFs also fired illumination flares over the Noor Shams refugee camp east of the city. In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), the Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of El-Khadhir and Bait Fajjar, with military vehicles roaming the streets, though no kidnappings were reported. The Israeli occupation forces also stormed Al-Fari’a refugee camp in Toubas, raiding the Sir'han neighborhood, again with no kidnappings reported. Cities, towns, and refugee camps across the West Bank are daily subjected to Israeli raids involving home invasions, clashes, interrogations, and kidnappings of Palestinian civilians. The illegal Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian vehicles during their attack on the Al-Tell area in the town of Dair Dibwan east of Ramallah. The Secretary-General of the Norwegian Refugee Council expressed sorrow over the settlers’ violations, saying that the burning and looting of Bedouin homes by illegal Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank was heartbreaking. He emphasized that the Israeli occupation apartheid regime never investigate settler violence, allowing them to act with total impunity. *** Israeli occupation forces kidnap a groom and his father near Ramallah Aree'ha (Jericho), October 24, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a groom and his father on Friday from the 'Ain Sultan refugee camp, north of Aree'ha (Jericho), while they were on their way to the town of Rantees, west of Ramallah, to pick up the bride, local sources reported. According to sources, the Israeli occupation forces stopped the vehicle carrying the groom, 'Awni Safi, and his father, Mazin Safi, at the town’s entrance, kidnapped them, and confiscated the car keys. The kidnapping occurred in the midst of wedding preparations, as the family was traveling to complete the marriage ceremony. M.N. *** Israeli occupation forces detain six Palestinians, including mayor, in Salfeet Salfeet , October 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces kidnapped six Palestinians on Friday, including the mayor of Dair Istya, while they were harvesting olives north of the town in the Salfeet Province, in the central West Bank, according to local sources. The sources said that Israeli troops raided olive groves while farmers were working on their lands, forcibly stopping them from picking olives before detaining them, including the mayor of Dair Istya, 'Abdul Ra'heem Zeedan. They were taken to an undisclosed location. Since the beginning of the olive harvest season, Israeli occupation forces and colonists have intensified their attacks on farmers and their lands across the West Bank, including detentions, harassment, confiscation of equipment, and restrictions on access to groves located near settlements and outposts. M.N. *** Israeli occupation forces assault farmers, block access to olive groves, near Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), October 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces assaulted Palestinian farmers and prevented them from reaching their lands to harvest olives in the town of Na'haleen, west of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), injuring several people, according to local sources. The sources said that Israeli troops blocked farmers from accessing their lands in the 'Ain El-Balad area, which lies close to the illegal settlement of Beitar Illit, built on village land. Soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas at the farmers, causing several cases of suffocation due to gas inhalation. The same sources added that the soldiers assaulted two elderly residents — A'hmed Shakarna, 60, and Jameela Badr Shakarna, in her seventies — after briefly detaining them, before forcing them toward the fence surrounding the nearby settlement. These incidents have become frequent during the olive harvest season across the West Bank, as Israeli forces and colonists restrict Palestinian farmers’ access to their lands near settlements and often use force to drive them away. M.N. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal Israeli settlers assault olive pickers in Sebestya NABLUS, October 24, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers assaulted Palestinian olive pickers on Friday afternoon in the town of Sebestya, northwest of Nablus, according to local sources. Mu'hammed 'Aazim, head of the Sebesty village council, said that a group of colonists attacked two local residents, Fadi and Khalid Mukhaimar, while they were harvesting olives. The assailants physically assaulted them and stole the harvested olives from the site. The incident is part of a series of repeated attacks by the illegal Israeli settlers targeting Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest season across the occupied West Bank. M.N. *** Illegal Israeli settlers vandalize mosque and school content in Khirbet Tana, near Nablus NABLUS, October 24, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Friday vandalized the contents of a mosque in Khirbet Tana, a hamlet located near the town of Bait Foureek, east of Nablus. Thaer Hanani, an official of the Committee for the Defense of Tana Lands, said the colonists stormed the Bayt El-Shaikh Mosque and wrecked havoc throughout the property, including what remained of solar power units, and damaged the carpets inside. He added that the illegal Israeli settlers also destroyed what remains of El-Sumoud 3 School, which had already been largely demolished after around 40 families were forced to leave the area earlier this year. Hanani warned that repeated raids by Israeli forces, along with the protection given to colonists and ongoing threats against worshippers, are evidence of an effort to forcibly empty the area of its Palestinian population in preparation for taking full control of the land. M.N *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** Guterres refers ICJ opinion to UN General Assembly, urges Israel to comply Friday 24-October-2025 NEW YORK, (PIC) UN Secretary-General António Guterres has referred the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding Israel’s obligations in the occupied Palestinian territories to the United Nations General Assembly, which had originally requested the opinion. In a detailed press release, Guterres explained that “the General Assembly is the body authorized to take any additional steps it deems necessary in this regard.” He highlighted that the ICJ reaffirmed “a number of fundamental obligations borne by Israel as an occupying power under international law.” The Secretary-General added that the Court emphasized Israel’s responsibility to ensure the provision of basic necessities for the population in the occupied Palestinian territories. He further stated, “When the population is not provided with even the minimum essential needs, as is the case in Gaza, Israel bears responsibility for facilitating the implementation of impartial relief programs, including those conducted by the United Nations, without obstruction.” Guterres stressed that the Court reaffirmed Israel’s obligations to respect and protect humanitarian workers, medical personnel, and facilities, and to refrain from using starvation as a method of warfare or conducting forced population transfers. It also underscored the need to guarantee the rights of Palestinian detainees to receive visits from the International Committee of the Red Cross. He noted that the Court focused on the importance of upholding human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories and highlighted the critical role of the UN, including UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees), in delivering humanitarian assistance and supporting the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination. At the same time, the statement confirmed that the Court dismissed accusations questioning UNRWA’s neutrality and reaffirmed Israel’s obligation to cooperate with the UN and its agencies. It also emphasized the importance of respecting the sanctity of UN premises and personnel during armed conflicts. Guterres urged Israel to fully comply with its legal commitments regarding the UN’s presence and humanitarian operations in the occupied Palestinian territories. He concluded the statement by emphasizing that the ICJ advisory opinion will be “crucial to improving the dire situation in Gaza.” Separately, the ICJ had issued an advisory opinion on Wednesday reaffirming the illegality of Israeli measures against UNRWA and stating that the use of starvation and manipulation of humanitarian aid as leverage constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law. This development comes amid an ongoing ceasefire agreement reached in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh on October 9, 2025, brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye, with US participation, following two years of aggression on the Gaza Strip. Despite the agreement, Israeli forces launched air raids and artillery bombardments that have killed and injured hundreds. Backed by unwavering US support, the Israeli occupation has committed acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, while ignoring international calls and ICJ orders to end the aggression. The genocide has resulted in over 238,000 people killed or wounded, most of them children and women. Over 9,000 people remain missing, with tens of thousands displaced, as famine continues to cast a shadow over the lives of many in Gaza. *** =============================================================================================================================== Editorial
