Three Palestinian civilians were martyred and others were injured in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, amid ceasefire violations persisting for the 213th consecutive day.

According to media sources, two police officers were killed and others were wounded when an Israeli drone bombed a car in El-Amal neighborhood in the west of Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

GCHR: Israeli bombing and expanding prohibited areas exacerbates displacement risk in Gaza

Saturday 9-May-2026

GAZA, (PIC)

The Gaza Center for Human Rights (GCHR) expressed its deep concern and condemnation regarding the recent field developments in the Gaza Strip, which reflect a dangerous escalation in the policies of the Israeli occupation forces aimed at imposing facts by force and reducing the geographic space available to the civilian population, in parallel with the continued daily bombing and the fall of new martyrs almost every day.

The center said in a statement on Saturday that its field team documented the occupation forces expanding the yellow zone again east of Khan Younus, by moving the yellow markers off the Dar E-Salam Hospital to become alongside Sala'huddeen Road, which prompted displaced citizens to leave the area for fear of being targeted.

It pointed out that this development comes a few weeks after the creation of what is called the orange line, which carves out about 11 percent of the area of the Strip, thus increasing the percentage of restricted or prohibited areas for Palestinians to about 65 percent of the total area.

The GCHR warned that the creation of this line outside the scope of what was known as the yellow line represents a dangerous escalation in the policy of reducing the space available to the population, as it pushes about 2.1 million displaced people into forced overcrowding in an area not exceeding 35 percent of the Gaza Strip, in light of the collapse of basic services and the deterioration of health and environmental conditions, which undermines the conditions of human life and increases the risks of the spread of diseases and epidemics.

The center pointed to the dangerous development represented by the bombing and destruction of a group of houses in El-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, which demonstrates the continued occupation policy of erasing what remains of buildings and cities after destroying 90 percent of the buildings in the Strip during 31 months of aggression.

It mentioned that its team documented yesterday evening, Friday, May 8, 2026, the receipt by a number of citizens of phone calls from the Israeli army demanding they evacuate their homes and tents in the vicinity of a house belonging to the El-Adham family in El-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, which pushed families to displace and evacuate under the weight of fear and panic, without being able to take their personal belongings.

It explained that Israeli warplanes bombed the three-story house at night with two missiles, leading to its destruction along with the almost total destruction of about 30 neighboring houses, in addition to the outbreak of a fire that extended to neighboring places inside the crowded alleys of the camp. The bombing also resulted in the injury of nine citizens with varying wounds, one of which was described as serious.

The center stressed that the call to evacuate method does not bestow any legitimacy on the bombing operation, and does not exempt the occupying power from its responsibilities under the rules of international humanitarian law, especially the principles of distinction, proportionality, and necessity and the prohibition of inflicting wide-scale damage on civilian objects, confirming that what happened is an extension of the process of erasure and comprehensive destruction carried out by the occupation forces with the aim of making life impossible for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The center mentioned that these developments come at a time when Ministry of Health data in Gaza indicates the arrival of five martyrs and 15 injuries to the hospitals of the Gaza Strip, during the past forty-eight hours, including four new ones and one recovered case, with other victims remaining under the rubble in light of the inability of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them. Since the ceasefire on October 10, the total number of martyrs has reached 850 people, and injuries 2,433, in addition to 770 recovered cases. As for the cumulative statistics since October 7, 2023, they indicate 72,736 martyrs and 172,535 injuries.

The GCHR stressed that these Israeli policies, including wide-impact bombing, the expansion of prohibited areas, and the establishment of military arrangements and sites inside the Gaza Strip, constitute in their entirety an attempt to impose a new geographic and security reality by force, involving serious risks related to forced displacement and demographic change prohibited under international law.

The center demanded the international community, especially the high contracting parties to the Geneva Conventions, to take urgent action to stop these violations, ensure the protection of the civilian population, and pressure to end the policy of reducing geographic space and lift the restrictions imposed on movement and access, as a prelude to enabling the population to live in dignity and safety on all their land without a permanent threat of bombing or forced displacement.

Sunday 10-May-2026

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed different areas of the West Bank on Sunday morning and earlier at dawn, raiding homes and kidnaping a number of Palestinian citizens.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped a father and his four children after raiding their home in the town of 'Atteel, north of Toulkarm.

In El-Khaleel, the IOFs stormed the town of Sa’ir, north of El-Khaleel, and kidnaped three young men from their homes.

Another citizen was taken prisoner from his home in the town of El-Dthahiriya, south of El-Khaleel.

'Hamas condemns forcing Palestinian family to exhume relative’s grave

Sunday 10-May-2026

Jineen, (PIC)

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, has condemned the crime of exhuming a Palestinian grave in the village of El-'As'asa, south of Jineen, after settlers, supported by the Israeli occupation army, forced a Palestinian family to extract the body of one of its members from his grave under the pretext of the cemetery’s proximity to a settlement recently reopened by the government of Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Movement said in a press release on Sunday that the incident represents a new crime committed by herds of settlers with the support of the terrorist occupation army, noting that it reflects the reality of the terrorist occupation and its complete separation from human values and norms.

A Palestinian family had buried on Friday one of its members, aged eighty years, inside land they own near the Sa-Nur settlement, which was recently rebuilt following the occupation government’s decision more than a year ago to cancel the plan to evacuate northern West Bank settlements approved in 2005.

Following the end of the burial ceremonies, settlers arrived at the site and attempted to extract the body under the pretext of the grave’s proximity to the settlement, before family members intervened to prevent them.

'Hamas stressed that the crime calls for serious international steps to end the occupation and hold its leaders accountable, demanding that the international community put an end to what it described as terrorist crimes and practices targeting Palestinians, both living and dead.

UN: 40,000 Palestinians displaced in the West Bank since start of 2025

Saturday 9-May-2026

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The United Nations said Israeli policies in the West Bank have forcibly displaced tens of thousands of Palestinians since the beginning of 2025 amid escalating demolitions and settler violence.

Deputy spokesperson for the UN secretary-general, Far'han 'Haq, said around 40,000 Palestinians have been forced to leave their homes and lands since the beginning of 2025 due to mounting pressure, repeated home demolitions, and ongoing attacks targeting Palestinian communities.

According to UN data, the first week of this May alone witnessed a sharp escalation in efforts to target the Palestinian presence in the West Bank, with 42 additional Palestinians displaced, including 24 children.

UN sources said armed settler attacks have become a daily threat across towns and villages in the occupied territory, often carried out under the protection of Israeli forces. The assaults reportedly include property destruction, physical attacks, and the demolition of homes and vital infrastructure relied upon by Palestinian families.

Haq said the policies amount to a broader strategy aimed at altering the demographic and geographic reality of the occupied Palestinian territories through pressure on the indigenous Palestinian population.

He stressed that the continued forced displacement of civilians violates international law, which prohibits the transfer of populations under military occupation.

EIllegal Israeli settlers attack West Bank areas, injure Palestinian in Aree'ha (Jericho)

Saturday 9-May-2026

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A Palestinian citizen was seriously injured on Saturday following an attack by the illegal Israeli settlers, near the town of El-'Auja, north of Aree'ha (Jericho) in the occupied West Bank.

A local source reported that a horde of settlers raided al-Balqa Bedouin community homes and attacked residents, gravely wounding Mu'hammed Ghawanmeh in the head.

Settlers also intensified their aggression against residents of the Abu Fazaa' community in the town of El-Taybeh, east of Ramallah, according to El-Baidar Human Rights Organization.

The rights group said that settlers attacked the community in the morning, besieging its people, cutting off its water supply, and damaging property and crops.

Other settler crimes and attacks were also reported last night and this morning in different areas of the West Bank.

A group of settlers set fire to a vehicle at the Karamilo roundabout close to the village of El-Taybeh, east of Ramallah, last night.

Settler groups also attacked Bedouin communities in the al-Awsaj area north of Aree'ha (Jericho).

In El-Khaleel, settlers assaulted farmer Mu'hammed El-'Hamamda while he was working his land in the Tel Ma’een area of Masafir Yatta.

On Friday, settlers desecrated the grave of a Palestinian buried near El-'Asa’eesa village in southern Jineen.

At the request of settlers, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the burial site and forced Palestinian residents to exhume the body, claiming the grave was close to the Tarsala settlement.

Illegal Israeli settlers set up illegal outpost in the West Bank town of Dair Istya

Sunday 10-May-2026

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers established a new outpost on swaths of Palestinian-owned land in the town of Dair Istya, northwest of Salfeet in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that settlers placed two mobile homes on swaths of land belonging to the Islamic Awqaf authorities in the El-Maghsala area of Dair Istya.

They added that the settlers bulldozed plots of land and piped water from the illegal Revava settlement across Palestinian olive groves to the outpost.

The sources described the establishment of this outpost as a “serious escalation in settler attacks on Palestinian lands and property.”

On Friday, settlers demolished the Palestinian hamlet of 'Izbet El-'Iyoun west of Wadi Qana, northwest of Salfeet, after forcing its residents to leave.

In a separate incident, settlers attacked the village of Dair Jareer, east of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, provoking clashes with residents.

Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village to provide protection for the settlers during their attack and kidnaped two Palestinian citizens.

In El-Khaleel, dozens of Palestinians suffered from their exposure to tear gas after Israeli forces stormed the town of Bait Ummar.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), the Israeli occupation forces raided the “Balqees” wedding venue in the town of Daw'ha, west of the city, and cordoned off the area around it for no known reason.

Illegal Israeli settlers raze agricultural structures, stole sheep and damage crops in the West Bank

Sunday 10-May-2026

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Illegal Israeli settler groups demolished dozens of Palestinian agricultural structures, stole sheep, and damaged crops in different areas of the West Bank on Sunday.

According to local sources, settlers with a bulldozer stormed the 'Arab El-Khoali community east of Kafr Thuluth town in southern Qalqilya and demolished 50 agricultural rooms belonging to the El-Khoali and Moqbil families. These structures, built of stone, steel, and tin sheets, had been set up on about 30 dunums of farmland.

Mayor Jihad 'Oadeh said the bulldozed land is part of 1,700 dunums of olive and wheat fields, with damages worth millions of shekels.

Repeated settler attacks forced 'Arab El-Khoali families to flee to the town of Kafr Thuluth, yet they return daily to farm or take care of their lands.

For his part, agricultural official Bashar Shawa'hna said that local residents had rallied on the area’s fertile lands for over 80 years as their main source of farming and livestock.

He noted that relentless settler violence also emptied much of the community, reducing its residents to just 10 families from the 25 who once lived there since 1948.

In eastern Ramallah, a horde of settlers stole about 80 sheep from a Palestinian-owned farm in the village of Kafr Malik.

Mustafa Rabee', the farm owner, said settlers infiltrated his barn during the night and stole 80 sheep, herding them towards a nearby settlement outpost.

Rabee' noted that settlers had previously stolen 100 sheep from his farm last August, with none recovered.

“These losses are immense and unbearable. This was our source of livelihood, and nobody compensates us,” he said.

In the northern Jordan Valley, local sources reported that settlers released their livestock into cultivated fields in the Wl-'Himma area, resulting in extensive damage to rain-fed crops and lands.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime deports two activists kidnaped from Gaza-bound flotilla

Sunday 10-May-2026

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) has deported two foreign activists who had been kidnapped recently from a Gaza-bound flotilla in international waters.

Saif Abu Kishk, a Spanish national of Palestinian origin, and Brazilian Thiago Avila were among dozens of activists sailing with the Global Sumud Flotilla when it was intercepted by the Israeli navy off the coast of the Greek island of Crete on April 30.

While all other flotilla participants were taken to Crete and released, these two activists were transferred by Israeli forces to Israel for interrogation.”

The Israeli foreign ministry announced that Abu Kishk and Avila were deported from Israel on Sunday after an investigation.

Hadeel Abu Salih, a lawyer for the 'Adalah rights group who co-represented the activists, said their detention “was a sham proceeding with no legal basis, intended to punish them for attempting to challenge Israel’s illegal blockade on Gaza.”

She said the pair’s transfer to Israeli custody was “a clear violation of international law” and that they had been subjected to ill-treatment while in custody.

During their week-long detention in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon (built on the ruins of the Palestinian 'Asqalan), 'Adalah affirmed the two men had been subjected to “psychological abuse,” including prolonged interrogations, constant bright lighting in their cells, complete isolation, and transfers while blindfolded, even during medical examinations.

After they had been taken from the flotilla to Israel, the two men’s detention was extended for a further six days last Tuesday, with an appeal filed by their lawyers rejected the following day.

The two men had been on hunger strike since the beginning of their detention, with Abu Kishk also refusing water from May 5, 2026, 'Adalah said.

Brazil, Spain and the UN had demanded their release and also called their detention unlawful.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
